Where to Eat and Drink in the Russian River Valley

"Right across from Veterans Memorial Beach, Amy’s Wicked Slush has almost always had a line (luckily swift-moving) since it opened in 2017. Sometimes called Italian ice, slush is creamy and lick-able, a friendlier version of a sno-cone, and pairs nicely with Straus Creamery soft serve (known as a “split”). With enough flavors to make your head spin, the combinations are endless, but you can’t go wrong with classics like root beer slush and vanilla soft serve. Try the Spumoni (cherry slush with pistachio soft serve) for a taste of owner Amy’s Bostonian childhood." - Jess D. Taylor

Google
Such a amazing ice cream place I love coming here Susy is so sweet and makes me feel welcomed and she has the best bionicos and raspados. I definetly recommend this place if you are looking for a good ice cream place in sonoma county.

Google
A great local ice cream shop, serving really good ice-cream. The lime sorbet I had was excellent, and the banana split looked amazing. The horchata ice cream was highly recommended too. The server was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. It's a bit hidden away, but well worth searching out.

So friendly! The cotton candy ice cream and lime sorbet were so delicious. They make shave ice and use their own home made syrups, also scrumptious and very reasonable. It is a little off the road in a strip mall across from McDonalds, we had to u turn to get back to it and it was completely worth it!.

My wife and I stopped by today to fill our sweet tooth. Got to meet Susy and was impressed, not only with all the flavors but that everything was made in house. We will be back!!

This was such a treat. This is a Latino ice cream shop, so there are all kinds of Latin flavors in addition to the usual choices. We stuck with vanilla and strawberry and they were delicious. The place is immaculately clean and cheerful, and the manager who served us was super-friendly and helpful. There are a couple of tables inside and a couple of benches outside. NOTE: Susy's is tricky to find but worth it. It's in a small strip shopping center of Latino businesses. One building runs perpendicular to the road--it has a pizza place near the road, then a couple of vacant stores, then Susy's at the far end.

Came here after a two-hour hike and this was the perfect treat afterwards. The staff was kind and patient, and took the time to walk through all the options, especially since I'm unfamiliar with Mexican desserts. I got scoops of horchata with espresso + chocolate chip, and it was fantastic. Really creamy and smooth :D

This is a great little place. Family owned and run ice cream shop. Great ice cream with a Spanish twist. Also they have some delicious and refreshing side dishes. A must-try for a refreshing treat.

Google
Nice spot, friendly employees. Anglo style ice cream wasn't particularly special, the Mexican style items definitely looked better. If I went back would definitely order some of those.

Yelp
Friendly staff. I ordered a scoop of coconut ice cream. It was delicious with bits of coconut jelly layered throughout.

Yelp
Stopped here with friends and family on the way back from a camping trip. Susy was in the shop (yes, thee owner...Susy). Friendly. All her stuff in the shop is homemade. She even does her version of La Michoacana ice cream. Ice cream, ice pops, cold drinks...Susy has it. Clean (immaculate), friendly and tasty.

Yelp
Creamy, delicious homemade ice cream in a super cute ice cream shop...you can't go wrong! They also make popsicles and other cultural sweet treats that appeared to be tasty! The owner, Susy, served us and you can just tell it's been a long year for her (who hasn't had a long year, right??). I want her to do well, I want her to succeed! Her ice cream deserves to be tasted by all and, plus, I know I'll come again next time I'm in Healdsburg!!!
