This old restaurant is one of most famous Yakiniku place in Japan. The location is so inconvenient and they don’t take a reservation meaning I didn’t have a chance to visit until yesterday. We set meeting at nearest station then took a taxi for 20 mins THEN 1 hour waiting outside of restaurant under this intense heat... Crazy... However I admit it’s worth waiting. Each dish is carefully prepared and tasty. Even the desert!

According to my nephew who s studying in waseda here, this is his best yakiniku in town, normally need to wait long but we are lucky to come on this rainy day so no wait. This 10000 per head set is not cheap but value for money considering the gigantic quality meat. The lady owner is especially very nice giving more meat than we should have had, definitely come again!

Very high quality food, also one of the very few quality place that allow single person BBQ. Staff is very friendly, manage to custom made a selection for me to try bit of everything. The final bill is relatively cheap, less than half compare to those with same quality food in Ginza. Challenge is you need to queue, no reservation accepted, and you may need to bend your knee for hours in traditional Japanese seatings.

Amazingly delicious Yakiniku with friendly service staff despite our language barrier. The meats were amazing and we are definitely looking forward to going back again! 上ロース (loin), 上タン (tongue), harami, karubi, 生野菜 (vegetables) were great! Space can get a bit cramped if sitting on the tatami and also can get smoky when the cooking starts but there is decent ventilation - just be mentally prepared.

We wait for 2 hours to get in. Highly recommended to come before the store open so you can get all the menuu. We didn’t get the 上タン as it’s sold out… You can only order tongue, harami and ロスト once. The tongue is beyond this world, highly recommended to order two portion of ロスト and tongue 😝 When I wait, I thought i will only come to this store once. But once eating the food, I know I will come again later. The food is too good, no wonder they said it’s the best yakiniku in Tokyo. A must try!! Staffs are all friendlyy 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

Stamina En is always my BEST yakiniku restaurant. It never disappoints me. Might get quite some line if you go before 7 pm but you risk have specials being sold out if you go too late. The transportation might be the only issue as you need to hop on a bus or cab after you got off the train. They can help hail a cab after the meal if you need. What impressed me the most is when I went the first time after I got off the train, I gave the cab driver the address and he just took off without looking it up in the navigation - Basically every driver knows that place. Cash only.

Nice hormone yakiniku shop but the location is not. Since there is no reservation system you have to queue to get in.
