Is it possible to rate Sutor Creek higher than 5 stars?!? This is a superb dining experience, with every dish prepared with imagination, perfection in flavors and elegance. The variety of choices gives anyone dining here a lot to choose from, and absolutely delicious. Our waitress was especially attentive to making this a fine dining experience. The restaurant was quaint and cozy, in a lovely seaport location that only added to the ambience. Make reservations because it has limited seating, although at midday they could seat some who had not called ahead. We loved everything about Sutor Creek, and understood why it is Michelin recognized. The best!

we came all the way from San Francisco to visit the area and drove hours on the road, just to try this restaurant. We arrived at 3:10pm, fully expecting to be seated since both the map and the sign outside said they close at 4pm (and Google says 8pm). But to our surprise, we were told the last call was at 3pm. We explained how far we came, hoping they’d understand or make an exception since it was just 10 minutes past. But the staff simply said, “Sorry, we’re closed,” without much care. Really disappointing experience

We were visiting from Lindon and had been looking forward to experiencing this place. We arrived at 3:10 PM, expecting to have some time to enjoy it before closing at 4 PM, as clearly stated on the sign outside. Unfortunately, we were turned away quite abruptly and informed that no more service was available. This was quite confusing and disappointing, especially as there was no indication anywhere that service ends at 3. The way it was communicated also felt rather cold and unwelcoming, which left us feeling let down. It’s a real shame, as we had high hopes, but sadly we left feeling disappointed.

Michelin star food without the prices! The best food we have ever eaten. If you’re in Inverness/ Cromarty, you must come here. Book in advance as the restaurant gets full up. The people that worked there were super friendly and very helpful to us. The food is second to none. It was amazing quality and melt in your mouth. If you don’t order the sticky toffee pudding, you are missing out. Thank you for having us and we can’t wait to come back ! X

Visited for Sunday lunch. Quickly seated and orders taken. Cullen Skink was lovely starter. Sunday Roast was beef - overall very good but was a little tough to cust. Fish and Chips had very large fish portion with tasty chips. The Lemon Posset desert was great - really tangy. Meal rounded off with lovely coffess. This place has many pizzas on the menu. Take away was seen to be available. Good service and nice cosy atmosphere.

An excellent cafe with a good selection on the menu. Food was beautifully presented, generous and absolute value for money. The fish and chips were second to none from local haddock. Highly recommended, friendly staff, fabulous food. I personally appreciated the effort of putting comprehensive sound baffling on the ceiling to make the cafe cosier.

Second visit here today. Lovely little place. Great menu and staff are lovely. You get what you pay for, which is great quality food and experience. Great view of the sea from the right seat!

We came all the way from Canada and were really looking forward to visiting this place. We arrived at 3:10 PM, only to be told (very bluntly and without any courtesy) that they were closed and no more service was available. This was confusing and frustrating, as their posted hours on the board clearly said they’re open until 4 PM, nowhere was it mentioned that service ends at 3. The attitude was cold and unwelcoming, and it honestly ruined the experience for us. Such a shame, so we left feeling really disappointed and sad.

Yelp
This Restaurant is a gem among oil rigs. Out at the end of the Black Isle, this restaurant serves high quality food, definitely worthy of its Michelin recommendation- and worthy the detour to visit and eat. The Whitebait The Scallops and Porbelly The Steak The Chocolate Delice The Lemon Panna Cotta Highly recommend these dishes and anything else on the menu. Incredible staff Incredible service Great drinks The best food. Worth the visit.

Yelp
Read about this place in Scottish Field so made a trip from Inverness to walk around then have pizza's in Sutor Creek Cafe. Had meal early at 5pm so only pizza's available as main evening meals only available after 6pm. All 6 of us agreed these were the best pizzas we had ever had. Better even than Ballymalloe Cookery School in Cork and the famous Juliana's in Brooklyn NY. Most highly recommended!
