My dad arrived here via ambulance early this morning for chest pain. From the moment my husband and I got there, the front desk security in the ER was nice and also the phlebotomist and the registration person. Dr. Bailey was so kind and the nurse Eric was very friendly. My dad thought everyone was so nice. His second nurse Lisa was also very sweet. We definitely had a good experience despite the fact that he was there 10 plus hours, it was still a positive experience. You can't expect to go to the ER and have them do tests and be out in an hour. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews but overall we think it's a good hospital with a caring staff.

Google
Would've given an one star review if there was an option. I recently came to Sutter Roseville Emergency Room for my conditions, the staff were friendly and professional (despite the wait time being insanely long) However, the hideous behavior of an ER Operator staff, a woman who identified herself as "Catherine" was insane. I explained my inquiry regarding my billing statements of the latest visit, but instead of responding to my question, Catherine starts chitchatting with her colleagues and ignores me. I hung up and dialed the second time, where she again clearly states her name and "how may I help you" I explained my question again, and she immediately hung up the phone call without saying a word. The third time I dialed ER Operator, it was Catherine who picked up the phone again. I asked what she was doing on the other end, and Catherine ends the call again without a doubt. I have already submitted Sutter experienced feedback form and emailed Sutter Social. I expect a direct response and apology from this disrespectful staff. Your leadership team needs to seriously address this behavior. This is absolutely unacceptable.

I'll never understand the incompetence and trash communication at hospitals. I'm somewhat of an experienced hospital connoisseur. I specifically asked the operating doctor if his orders were going to change when my wife was transfered from the surgery post-op area to the overnight stay area of the hospital. I asked this because we've experienced changes in orders when switching from post-op to the overnight ward. The doctor assured me nobody would change his orders. Boy was he wrong. It was all downhill from there. Typical late pain med administration, understaffed, excuses, etc.

I was in Sutter Roseville for 4 days. Nurses were very nice. I have a somewhat rare condition. A bad bladder and kidney infection . They had to send my blood work out of town. I went in because of 103.2 fever and sick to my stomach for three days. The doctor today discharged me. She admitted saying your not fixed but we now the right meds.YOU'LL BE FINE HA HA. So I get home and get a 102 fever and upset stomach We called Sutter and they told my wife they we were discharged and they were no longer responsible for my health Craziest statement I've ever heard GM

Google
I am NOT suttisfied today at all. I was visiting my son and worker on reception in ER held me much longer than it supposed to be because he could not find my name in the system and created new profile even though I was there yesterday and before yesterday. And when I asked how much longer it's gonna take he asked if I am OK. Of course not, because I have plans to and needed to manage my time as well. He supposed to ask me if I have been here before, give me bage and let go, it is taking couple minutes. Do not hold people on reception. It's already took for me 30 minutes to park my car and of course for me left not too much time to see my son.

Google
Dr. Arthur Jey is a cut above the rest. His sincere care for my father was unparalleled. The level of transparency, genuine care, and commitment to upholding human dignity was a true standout. When the pressures of the world are on your shoulders caring for an elderly parent and a physician at the ER finds a way to lift that weight for even a moment, speaks volumes. Forever grateful.

Google
I'll probably give 2 different reviews because I love my OB doctor and labor and delivery care. This review is for the Sutter Operator health line for Alyssa. I needed her help and was having very serious pregnancy symptoms. All other operators had transferred me to the right place. She suggested I get ahold of my OB doctor (on a Saturday when I don't have their personal care line and I told her) to figure out what was going on. When I told her about the hours and stuff she simply said "this is the best I can do for you" no, it's not I've been on the line with over 4 different operators who smoothly got me where I needed to be in cases where I was a little frantic. I spent about 5-10 minutes of excruciating symptoms trying to navigate my call history and end up on the right line myself. Very disappointed and feel like she was either just lazy or improperly trained which, either on a Saturday for any medical issues is unacceptable.

Google
Very disappointed. I came in for an ultrasound. Should have taken 20 minutes tops! I was told to undress and sit on the table. I sat there for a hour and a half waiting. Mind you I live an hour away and had a 3:00 appointment. I sat in the room for an hour and a half and not one person walked in but yet if you are 10 minutes late they make you leave be reschedule. My husband walked in the hall at one point and asked how much longer it would take because we had our children to pick up and they told us 5-20 minutes. We waited another 15 minutes and nobody showed up. I got dressed to leave and will not be continuing care here. I’m beyond disappointed at the professionalism here.

Yelp
I was recently admitted to Sutter Roseville Medical Center after a car drove into mine at high speed without his lights on. My review is for the trauma unit.... I was pulled into the trauma unit and and quickly accessed for my injuries. My friend not that far away from me. Both of us had neck collars on, so we didn't know reach other was near by. There were about 6-10 people around us poking and prodding, checking out vitals, our eyes, how conscious we were. Every staff member around us took amazing care of us and let us know along the way what they were about to do next, asking about our pain level. The amount of care that I felt was more than I have ever had in my life, but given the situation, was necessary. I fortunately did not break any bones and did not lose consciousness when the accident occurred. I am full of bumps and bruises, back aches and neck pain. The headaches.... I am so thankful for this trauma unit and how nice everyone was and how fast they acted checking for anything major. Roseville Sutter Medical Center is an amazing hospital. They have amazing staff. I would know after being here so much, not only for myself, but for my family as well. They have shown hard work, dedication, and sympathy for my family and me in the last few years. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

Yelp
Sutter Roseville Medical Center is an amazing organization. They have taken such incredible care of our family. We love our physicians and nurses! Special shout out to; Dr. Jaspreet Dhillon, Dr. Mark Lam, The Infusion Center, Imaging team, Nursing Staff, Debra Ayes RN, Kathryn Opalenik NP,The entire team at Building 8. Thank you

Yelp
Hands Down the best Hospital (Roseville) in California in my opinion. This hospital is professional, caring, and not treated as a number. Before you go to the hospital have your facts, medical records straight, and get to the point otherwise you will be wasting time. The emergency room well its pack nothing can be done about that. However once you are seen and evaluated, admitted the process runs smoother. Just have patience and you will be taken care of. Thank You Roseville Sutter if I could give 10 Stars I would.

Yelp
My grandfather was admitted here last week. He was well taken cared for and his team of nurses and NA's were wonderful in Med Surge Nurse Station C Shout out to Kenna, Barbara. Toni. Kenna answered all my questions and was very sweet. Thank you for caring for my favorite old man

Yelp
I was a patient there for 45 days (August 1, 2022 to September 14th 2022. I still have PTSD... it was an awful, FRIGHTENING experience. $754,000 bill... Sutter billed my insurance and got paid for services I didn't even receive. The poor nurses, most of them were completely cold, worn out, sick of patients (one nurse was abusive towards me, I asked that she was not to be around me) the hospital was under construction... banging, clanging and slamming ALL DAY AND NIGHT. There was no real communication about WHAT was being done to me or why. MY SUTTER STAY STILL HAUNTS ME.
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
I sent a message with my name and number. I look forward to finally get a response and hopefully treatment for this issue.

Yelp
I can't even explain the amount of horrible experiences I have with Sutter. Specialists are useless. Cardiologists don't give a shit. Aren't up to date on POTS or need for medication control. Er has stupid drs who take a chest xray for everything. I've had er drs tell me I had no tooth abbess to go home and have it rupture. Last er visit for my pots I ended up getting out of my hallway bed to hold the hand of the patient next to me as she was screaming in pain as they splinted her leg. Pain wasn't under control and splint guy was rough and not compassionate. Not to mention my own care.
google avatar

Joe W.

Yelp
The hospital is over crowded .... er medicine is practiced as a cya approach some er drs are beyond unprofessional.

Anthony G.

Yelp
when u want to get sleep forget about it if u like to be poked and moniored all night its fantastic but bring your own aspiri if u have a headache lol 8 hrs and still waiting for so e

Mostafa A.

Yelp
If i was able to give 0 stars i would. Sutter health has constantly proven how unprofessional and disorganized they are. Whenever we have an appointment the doctor can be late by over an hour but if i was late by 5 minutes they would pass up on my appointment to the next patient that was supposed to be after me. That is just one of the instance. During my wife's pregnancy one of the nurses claimed my wife is dehydrated and my wife was like no i drink a lot of water, even then she gave her IV and then her oxygen levels dipped and they found liquid build up in her lungs later after giving birth which kept her away from our newborn the first week. I have so many stories about how Sutter health only cares about their payments. 600,000$ bill for our newborns NICU stay.

Jen O.

Yelp
I went in with a cramped calf unable to walk, they told me to have an x ray. I refused to but agreed to an ultra sound. After they were finished they said the ultra sound wasn't clear I needed an x ray. I refused. Then a month later got a 1000 bill after pay 1400 monthly to Sutter Health. They add un necessary services and gouge you monthly with higher and higher bills. They should be ashamed about how they treat their patients and then over charge them. Buyer Beware
google avatar

Frances S.

Yelp
I had to go to the ER recently and I received the best care from the doctors and nurses in the ER. They were kind , compassionate and very supportive of me. They treated me with respect and I appreciate that they are very professional people.

Lu L.

Yelp
Emergency care at its worst. No wonder they are rated a 2.5 stars. 6 hours waiting for a cat scan. Management should be ashamed of having an ER that is not an emergency rather a full days wait. Get your act together and give patients what they need. I would love for your loved ones to go and wait 7 hours, management team!

Alisa D.

Yelp
From the ER to being admitted and new cancer diagnosis, everyone has been absolutely wonderful! My doctors are friendly, knowledgeable, and spend time with me explaining everything. My nurses and nurses aides are amazing, giving me the best care every day and every shift. When I call for something, they are there right away. I already have needed referrals for a cancer care team that takes care of you after surgery and discharge. The food is better than almost any hospital I have seen. I can't understand why there are so many negative reviews, maybe just entitlement and think it should be like a 5 star hotel???
google avatar

Sandy J.

Yelp
Great service, very kind imaging consultants. If you're getting an MRI, make sure you're relaxed and ready. I'm not a fan of the MRI sound machines, but, if it's needed for your health, don't hesitate. God bless!

Ann M.

Yelp
Office Experience: For the reason the Receptionist speaks loud: 1. Patients in waiting area clearly hear personal information that of the patient registering for appointment. 2. As Receptionist speaks on the telephone, patients in waiting area clearly hear personal information that of the caller, i.e., medical health information/medical insurance information, telephone number, etc. All HIPPA violation. Care Quality: Exceptional

Jane B.

Yelp
There has got to be a community uproar. There are 60 people waiting to be admitted. There are beds lined up in ER in the hallways. We were told Elk Grove voted no new hospital for their area. Nobody wants to go downtown Sac. How can you treat your community like this? This isn't exactly against Sutter, but something needs to be done. This is like a third world country.

Yelp
Sitting in the Emergency Room as my wife is being seen for treatment. I have worked in health care a huge percentage of the of my life and I have never seen such unprofessional looking healthcare staff as this hospital! I can't tell the difference between the patients and the staff. They are dressed so sloppy and many covered in tattoos. Doesn't Sutter Hospital have a professional dress code for their staff? This is terrible!

Donavan C.

Yelp
There Referral call center has their phone system set up to where it goes to spam if they call you. If you call them back, you sit on hold for 15 to 30 minutes until you just get tired and hang up. If they do say that they will call you back and you leave your number they never call you back.

Douglas B.

Yelp
Sutter hospital tried to give me double of the same medication I was on that was already raised in strength. Sutter still wants me to pay a copay for almost being poisoned. The Pharmacy refused to fill due to this. Took 3 phone calls to get this addressed. Sutter send letters saying they take it seriously but not doing anything about it but sweeping it under the Rug... the Er dr also made offensive remarks about ordering medication for patients with implants. BIG F to the Er, I also had to return due to severe pain.

Jag S.

Yelp
Went there some time ago to see a patient and had to provide ID and get a photo taken. And had to put up with a petty guard type thug. The patient is doing well and receiving excellent care. But the entry experience is insulting, invasive, and unnecessary. Seriously, copy my ID and take my picture? Real bad policy. Sure, They will say it is for my protection. But I should not have to give up the right of privacy and be required to "show papers" like in Germany in 1942 to visit a patient. Who do you think you are Sutter? Not like you would require people to take the jab to keep their job or visit. Oh, wait, yes, you did that too. What about rights?

Yelp
While I understand security measures, I don't understand why employees are subject to the same search and double search procedures as visitors. I am watching this on day one of the screening at the lobby entrance of SRMC, 7/8/24. I am surprised at the procedures and measures being taken. I have been unaware of any employee incidents in the recent past. It looks like it slows everyone down by a few minutes. I can definitely see the aggregation on people's faces. Hopefully, employees will not be subject to these measures indefinitely. It reminds me too much of emptying my pockets, etc. at the courthouse. That, I get.

Susan M.

Yelp
My loved one received care at Sutter Roseville that left us devastated. Prolonged delays, lack of transparency, and what I believe to be serious failures in clinical judgment and ethical standards led to preventable harm. I've filed formal complaints with the appropriate state and federal oversight agencies. I share this not out of anger, but out of duty to other families who may be navigating similar circumstances. Patients deserve safety, dignity, and accountability--not systemic neglect.

Irene H.

Yelp
Worst experience of my life!! I went in to the ER March 25 where I was diagnosed with a major infection and would need surgery after waiting in that horrible waiting room. I was admitted and placed in the hallway where alot of other beds were lined up waiting for treatment. It was third world to say the least without privacy or compassion. The worst part was when they rolled me into a room after spending the night in a tent that was the post op room and was threatened by gang members whose mother shared the room. They threatened me and my family's life. The cops were called and it was an ordeal but the hospital administration has done Jack s#$t to help. The nurses did nothing while witnessing it all. Honestly, a score of 1 is too good I give them a 0! UNACCEPTABLE!!

Gary F.

Yelp
I have visited several friends over the past three years at this facility, my friends and their families have highly valued the care. Everyone I have dealt with appears to go "the extra mile" just to help me find the elevator or a room. I do wish there was better signage, but this has nothing to do with the care exhibited. Thank you to all those doing their best to care for so many. These friends have been in the ICU, ER, regular rooms. There has been ingestion of a poison, heart failure, Huntington's compounded with COVID... you are amazing.

Linda P.

Yelp
ER visit 4/10/2025. My 81 year old neighbor was taken to Sutter Roseville ER for a possible heart attack (which she has had before). She was brought back for blood work and then told they were going to keep her for observation overnight. However a bed needed to be cleaned. She was then sent back to the outside waiting area for 6 hours and 25 minutes when she decided to sign herself out. Was told they only have one person cleaning beds. As she had been sitting in a chair this whole time without any food or water and just getting more stressed out. There is absolutely NO excuse for this. Either management needs to look at these things or better yet management needs to be replaced. Only one star as I had to put something. Experience for her was a joke.

Yelp
My father just had surgery to have a tumor removed at Sutter Hospital in Roseville and I wish I could give them 100 stars. every single person that interacted with my dad or any member of my family was so kind so professional and set the bar so high for hospital care. I am so amazed by every single staff member I met. thank you Sutter from the bottom of my heart thank you!

Richard

Yelp
My grandson came in 4 days ago in incredible pain in his eye and headaches they looked at him said they his I was okay and they let him go without any pain meds he was to go home the very next day he was brought back to the emergency room the same thing happened he is now in UC Davis hospital room being treated for an infection around his eye were they at least took MRIS two of them had an infectious disease doctor come in look at him and got him on medications Sutter hospital said there was nothing wrong

Mike K.

Yelp
Came in on a asthma attack been here for about 5 days .the nurses are all so good at wat they do.the respiratory amazing. All around amazing team members. Keep up the good work Thank God I came here instead of Mercy San Juan medical. Felt a lot safer
google avatar

Yelp
I went to the ER vs. urgent care. I knew I needed more diagnostic studies. The staff was good but not consistent. I must have met 6+ nurses over the course of 8 hours. It took long to get all of the tests done. No pillow, hallway cart when there were empty rooms. I'm a health care professional. Interesting how you are treated when no one knows your profession. I'm an RN and FNP. I expected more privacy and basic comfort. Was never offered water. Why no pillows? When the doctor came to speak with me everyone in vicinity could hear about me, my results, plan of care - HIPAA violation. Then during triage- they announce your first and last name- HIPAA? It should be : Gayle S.

Yelp
Sad at how the Sutter System has failed. My 91 year old mother arrived in the ER at 11:30 am. They confirmed that she had fractured femur. By 4:30 pm we knew she was to be admitted. It is now 1:30 am the next day and we are still in the ER. Waiting for a bed. She is on a gurney and had no pillow the first 10 hours. I had no chair to with her as she has dementia. The RN's and physicians were nice. But this admit process is way broken

Laurie L.

Yelp
Worst experience. Understaffed. Beds in halls. Patient wait time for diagnostics is unacceptable- If you can't see people it would be more humane to send them away than watch patients suffer in the hallways.
google avatar

Gloria S.

Yelp
Absolutely awful experience. I came in on an ambulance and then because I'm young and have weed in my system, they let me sit in the lobby for 5 hours while they helped every other person. Let me literally pass out and come to on the ground by myself and then were somehow annoyed at me for it?? I had been throwing up for 5 days straight and was extremely depleted. They labeled me a drug addict over the weed in my system and treated me like shit over it. The doctor yelled at me in the hallway that I needed to hold myself accountable for my lifestyle and it was my own fault I was in there. Well guess what?? Now I'm getting an endoscopy through Kaiser to actually see what's going on. Imagine, testing me instead of berating me and belittling me in an open hospital, after choosing to not help me because you're judgmental?? I needed help and eventually after losing over 10 lbs and being sick af, I was okay, no thanks to the people here.
google avatar

Alyssa S.

Yelp
Nurses were very nice but working very hard. ER people not as nice but I guess the environment they work in doesn't out you in greatest mood. I will say that there should be more communication on shift change.

Susanna O.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the quality of care at Sutter Roseville Medical center Emergency Department

Shel C.

Yelp
Sutter Roseville is a good place to be, but not for my husband. He was yelled at by his nurse. It seems like they do stuffs they don't get sued. That's just my impression. But I think he should be reprimanded. My husband's BP spiked at that moment.

ISmoke ..

Yelp
What a poor excuse for a medical center. The lack of basic care is truly concerning. Will not be returning nor recommending this facility.
google avatar

Chuck M.

Yelp
the er department really really does not care if your in severe pain all they care about is getting people in and out really quick. i was in the er 3 times in december and all 3 times i was sent home in the same amount pain as i went in. i will never return to the er in roseville. i will not recommend this hole to anyone.

Mary L.

Yelp
This is the worst hospital I've ever ever been to. Run don't walk away from this hospital. They are horrendous in every single way.

Chris Y.

Yelp
This ER is terrible. It shouldn't take 3-4 hrs to have blood draw and an ultrasound. They are so disorganized and the last 4 times we have been here have been terrible. The only good thing about the ER is the emergency doctors are nice. On top of this we waited almost 30 minutes for one Norco and discharge papers. Sutter is just incompetent and needs a complete overhaul on how to manage their ER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
My mother in law was brought in for stomach pain. There is no rooms available & staff are rude af. Why is it so hard to look at people in the eye & offer kindness? Over worked? Tired? No patience? How dare you speak to people like they are animals. These people are here because they need help. Staff looked completely underwhelmed. Woman on site was seizing in chair & staff walked out, looked, walked away slowly to call for help. Where is the urgency?!!!! Is this an ER?!!! Another woman was asking my mother & I how did she get a blanket, I told her the ambulance gave it to her. I watched as she asked the security guard where she could get a blanket...(she was in a wheelchair) he directed her to the front desk where they told her they couldn't give her blankets because they could be stolen...it's policy. Where is the decency? Humility? Especially in a time like these. No working vending machine for water or beverages. Sutter. Get your shit together.

Jenny H.

Yelp
I went to the ER twice Over the last 3 weeks and both doctors I got were atrocious, uncaring and completely unhelpful. Sent me home with a blood pressure of 207/100 without doing anything to help me stabilize. No tests were offered to help determine cause. Seriously considering switching back to Kaiser.

Paula F.

Yelp
I went in for a procedure on 6/4/24. My phone had "died" on me the morning before. I was told by a nurse at the facility that I would be welcome to use the house phone. After my procedure, I was walked to another area where I approached a receptionist. She talked down to me in a disrespectful & condescending manner. I lost my temper and called her some names I have since apologized for. I was tired due to lack of sleep. I was worried about the procedure. I had a biopsy on one of my breasts. I was asked to leave the building by 3 extremely rude security guards. It was in the triple digit heat and zi had no water. The main guard mentality & physically tortured, harassed, & ridiculed me. He would not allow me to use his phone & told other staff ( including a lady who worked there & the men at Valet parking to not allow me to use their phones. I was afraid for my life! The main guard made fun of my weight and pretended to call the police saying I was crazy. I am severely disabled & use a walker. I told the security guard that I needed to use someone's phone so I could call my friend who is a dispatcher for Lyft, Uber & Yellow cab. The horrible guard asked me where I needed to go and I said I needed to get to T-mobile to get my phone working again. He said START WALKING! I was unfamiliar with the area & had no idea where the nearest T-Mobile dealer was. I had to use the bathroom really bad too. He said, what do you weigh about 300?? It looks like the exercise would do you good. I said do you see the walker?? I have no working phone and I'm not going anywhere until I can get in touch with my friend. Him and his 2 partners in crime continued to surround me and block my path. I was harassed & abused for about a half hour or more. I was trying to reach Medical Plaza 2 to use the restroom & find someone to allow me to use their phone. While washing my hands I encountered an elderly lady. I started to cry, told her it was an emergency and pleaded with her to allow me to use her phone. As I was speaking to my friend, a middle-aged man with short grey hair ( who had shown me where the restroom was) stuck his head into the restroom and said LET's Go, NOW! He had no right going into a women's public restroom!! He treated me like I was his prisoner! I was able to get a ride with Lyft thanks to the kindness of a stranger bu the experience will stay with me forever. I'm referring to pain & suffering, anxiety and humiliation! I have written several letters to the hospital as well as called. I have been ignored and been lied to. I sent a demand letter ( as well as verbally demanded) a large sum to compensate what was done to me. After nine months I finally get a letter from a co. called Sedgwick who handles disputes and claims. I was told by a Mr. Timothy Williams that my claim is not going to be granted and that I am to cease & decease calling the hospital again. I was also told that he had done some investigating & that the guards said they did not display inappropriate behavior! THEY ARE LIEING TO SAVE THEIR PITIFUL JOBS! To make matters even worse, I am still getting billed for the $10 co-pay which I refuse to pay. I have tried calling Mr Williams several times but all I get are his voice mails. I wouldnt treat a begging dog in the street in this horrble way! Whenever I call the hospital operator tells me I am tieing up the line and that there could be an emergency. I tell her that nobody seemed to care about me when I needed help on that day. This is a hospital who is supposed to be saving lives. I told the staff that I'd be ashamed to work there. I want to get the word out.

Yelp
My Fiance sat in the emergency room on Friday night for 8 hours. He was forgotten about after he was checked in. I walked up to the ED Tech and asked why he hadn't heard from anyone for 3 1/2 hours. He told me he was forgotten about and that they were sorry. So I walked up to the nurse at the front desk to find out what he needed to do and she told me he needed to provide a urine sample, she added....verbatim, "The faster the better." My Fiance suffers from a rare autoimmune disease. His immune system was nuked with chemotherapy at Sutter Medical Roseville a few weeks ago. This is known in his medical record. Why did no one read this and red flags go off? Why did the hospital treat him like any other patient that is sick and will get better? My Fiance isn't getting any better, and the 8 hours you all made him wait around with patients who have the flu instead of following standard protocol and isolating him until he could be seen, is risking his life. Sutter staff risked his life on Friday and I can't trust that they aren't doing the same to others who suffer from pre-existing conditions or chronic illnesses.

Yelp
Good quality care from well experienced staff who honestly have compassion and senserity for health care of patients who choose this location

Yelp
Been in and out of sutter hospital. 3 times for UTIs and Penis infection. released to my family doctor with ZERO help from him. Bad to ER and hospital and over again. Supposed to get a referral to a urologist more than a month ago!!!! No referral yet. Horrible care to say the least have been seen by a dozen doctors without a proper diagnosis . HORRIBLE CARE. Run the other way!

Yelp
I was thinking as I decided to review Sutter Roseville Medical Center Roseville that a good number of negative reviews would have to do with the parking situation. I went there recently and couldn't find a parking place to save my life. No valet, no spaces and I wasn't alone in my hunting expedition. Many cars were circling around the many lots and garages to try to get a space. Not even in emergency was there a space. Now tell me what are you supposed to do? I priced how much it would be to get an Uber and to and from plus tip would be about $100. How is this ok? I know they realize this is a problem but something actually needs to be done about it and fast. There is no way to experience the quality of care you can actually get at Sutter Medical if you can't get into the building. This goes for the elderly as well. I saw many with walkers coming across the entire parking lot. Is this caring for your patients? If anyone in Sutter management is reading this please do the best thing for your patients and make sure they have a place to park so they can come inside and see their doctor...ON Time! I really do think Sutter doctors are great. But I maintain that the parking is a horrible mess.

Yelp
I went to the emergency department last night for something I didn't feel was an emergency (advice nurses convinced me otherwise) and I'm actually happy I went in. From the administration desk, triage, registration and the nursing/physician staff, every single professional was caring and supportive. I did not once feel like I was there unnecessarily or a burden (considering the lobby was full of sick and injured people). One nurse stands out because her level of care is unmatched. I've heard of nurses like her before, but I've never experienced one in the wild. She was attentive, caring, understanding, non-judgmental, funny and you can observe, she really loves what she does. Nurse Laura from ED working the evening of Thursday, March 7, 2024; you're the mold at which medical professionals should be created. The experience you gave me will stay with me always and has been discussed in group chat with the girls. I'm honored to have been able to meet you. Thank you for your outstanding level of care for myself and anyone who's had the pleasure to have you as their care provider. You're an asset to the industry thank you for your service. The Dr was also very attentive and kind. Overall, 10/10 recommend this facility for your medical emergency needs.

Yelp
Sutter Health Roseville ER is horrible. I am not one to write bad reviews and I have been to this establishment for emergencies before and they are better than this. My boyfriend woke his mom and I up at around 4 AM from him profusely vomiting and other things. As soon as we got there, there was a wait which is typical. My whole main concern is that the ladies who took his vitals. (never got the two of their names or anything but have a description of what they look like) After we had spoken with the doctor we were left in this room with a curtain awaiting a bed for him. I cannot stress enough how many times he and I made them aware that he will need to throw up and go to the bathroom every 15-30 minutes. They didn't care. The curtain was open as he was laying on the floor telling me that his pain was so bad he felt as if he was going to faint. Again the wait times were not a problem as this is a normal thing. But these two ladies who we had previously talked to were laughing and pointing at my boyfriend as he literally went to the bathroom in his pants. I was bewildered by their behavior. Employees were walking by his room just looking as they walked by at him crying in pain on the ground of this room. I asked for anything to clean him with and this lady had told me once she was done doing what she was doing she would. After 10 minutes I see her laughing and talking with the two nurses who had already been making fun of him. I then asked her again (in case she forgot) and she just sat there and stared and said "I'm not done doing what I'm doing" I felt like I couldn't really do much. 5 more minutes pass and the lady who said she would help is now gone and I can't find her. I asked a different nurse if she would help me find her to which she responded yes but then someone called her over to look at a picture of their dog and she immediately went there and didn't even help. Finally we got him into a bed, the lady who took care of him didn't seem to know what she was doing when she took his blood and put an IV in him. She instead of angling the needle up his vein pushed it down from the top causing him to scream in pain. He has had several blood work done due to previous medical issues and it had never hurt this bad for him. Again the peoples behavior here was disgusting, rude, and honestly seemed very illegal for how they should be acting in something as important as an ER setting. He also was placed in a hallway but no shocker there they don't really care about HIPPA violations. If I could give 0 stars I would. In this case I would be careful with these nurses who don't know anything and are acting like this for a minor emergency. Imagine a huge emergency that is super traumatic they would probably act like this as well.
