The Guide to Atlanta’s Best Samosas | Eater Atlanta

"Tucked inside an Indian grocery in an unassuming Suwanee strip mall, the hot-food counter is known for fresh, golden potato-and-pea samosas with a thick yet crispy exterior and well-salted filling; onion samosas and mango lassi are also standout items. The cramped aisles and ceiling-high shelves give way to a bustling snack counter where the samosas are popular enough to often draw a line." - Suraj Singareddy

I stopped going to indian restaurants after discovering this little grocery store. Their "food court" is absolutely amazing. Reasonable prices ( 1 dollar samosas), offering wide variety of chicken , veggies and goat dishes, mango Lassi and much more. Must visit if you like indian food!

Beware of the billing here. We were charged for 3 packs of cookies when we only purchased 2. Another item was billed at a higher price than the shelf label showed. When we called to ask about the errors, they said they would check and call us back—but we never received a call. Please double-check your receipts before leaving..

I have consistently noticed fresher vegetables here compared to Patel brothers. Don't buy their curries. Especially chicken curry. Who keeps skin on, just to show more quantity. Disgusting and mostly waste. What's up with everything from "Real" brand these days. It's very sad to see a popular and favorite local store pushing only one brand leaving it's customers with no choice of varieties. That's gonna drive it's customers away

Very Bad experience CAUTION Today we ordered chicken tikka masala in their kitchen. But ended up eating paneer tikka masala. Even the label outside the box says chicken tikka masala but they packed paneer. Please make sure you received the ordered food correct before leaving the store. Very disappointed.

This place is exceptional for its produce, they have a wide variety of ranges of food. Ranging from vegetables, samosas, pakoras. Etc.. if you looking for actual food that is freshly cooked from suvida. You can go to the food section to buy food. Need anything that is always Indian related? Well, they are also indo-pak. Which is Indian and Pakistani. Don’t know the location of Suvidha? They are an international food market you can find them all around the U.S. And India! ( probably ). Overall, this is the best Indian merchant place.

Billing Alert: Be cautious when checking out — I’ve noticed discrepancies between what I purchased and what was charged. It seems like the staffing or billing process may not be entirely transparent, and overcharging could be intentional. I strongly recommend reviewing your receipt carefully before leaving the store. Something feels off about how billing is handled. Proceed with caution.

I had a bad experience where Suvidha charged the regular Gulab Jamun (not the nuts infused ones)$128 for 80 pieces. The interesting thing was when I spoke with them, they said it’s $10.99 a pound & the lady over call said 80 pieces would be close to 7-8 pounds . But when we arrived for the pickup, it’s surprisingly 11 pounds ! So messaging is simple - don’t buy sweets from this place, any other vendor offers $1 a piece. Refrain from being on the losing side . Only positive was - taste wasn’t compromised but Suvidha should clarify the customers before selling .

Great source of Indian foodstuffs, but the big attractions for me are the house-made curries and biryani rices. Freshly made and very spicy, much better than frozen entrees, and a wide variety of them. Stop by the freezer section to get some breads, and you've got a seriously authentic Indian meal. They offer both vegetarian and meaty curries.
