Suvretta House (St. Moritz, Swiss Alps) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Suvretta House, a palatial hotel set in a scenic alpine landscape just outside St. Moritz, opened to great fanfare and a well-timed snowfall in 1912. More than a century later, it’s still one of the top places to stay in one of Europe’s most exclusive destinations. It retains an old-world air, from the snow-dusted turrets, wood beams, and coffered ceilings to the billiards room, private ice skating rink, oak-paneled bar, and a richly decorated dining room where even children are required to dress for dinner. Guest rooms are comparatively simple but luxe, with classic wooden furnishings and heavy drapery framing large windows. Breakfast is a lavish Swiss-style affair, and there’s a beautiful indoor swimming pool facing views of the mountains. Icing on the cake: the hotel has a private ski lift just for guests." - Tablet Hotels

My wife and I stayed at Suvretta this past March for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. As soon as you enter the lobby, the place feels so magical and homey. Our suite was so comfortable and clean, and not to mention how amazing the luxury bathrooms were. The turn down service was special and timely. The breakfast was over the top incredible, with such a large selection and quality food. The service was impeccable. It is so convenient to ski with just steps away from a lift. The ski lockers were very comfortable too. Our favorite part, the tea time after a long day of skiing. 🫖 We highly recommend Suvretta for a luxury ski vacation. We hope to come back again soon! We ♥️ Suvretta!

Just came back from a weekend trip. The place is as amazing inside as it is on the outside pictures. Lots of character, classic architecture, wooden panels and vintage furniture. Lots of space and very large rooms. Impeccable service. One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. It does cost a lot, but if you are looking g for a magical Gran Hitel experience, you will not be disappointed. And the formal dinner is quite and experience. Just remember to bring dark suit and tie if you are a guy... jeans do not resonate there...

The hotel looks exactly like the photos, picturesque! The breakfast is amazing! The food at the hotel is pricey but comparable to what you would pay in a five star hotel. Excellent service, very spacious rooms, comfortable bed, large bathrooms and lot’s of closet space. The view from the room is spectacular! (We booked a lake front view) Lot’s of activities. Do not pass up the opportunity to stay here. If arriving by train, ask to be picked-up by the shuttle. You will love it! We will definitely return when we come back to St. Mortiz!

Absolutely amazing stay at Suvretta House. I chose this location after alot of research. We were traveling with our six year old so I wanted a very kid friendly place. From the snacks and stuffed animal in the room when we arrived to going the extra mile at dinner to make sure he was happy they went above and beyond. He did not stay at the kids club but we did drop by to check it out. It looked great, and the woman running it was very kind. Had we stayed longer we would have utilized this. A HUGE bonus that I was not expecting is that they have so many gluten free options. From a basket of gluten free bread (changing every day and the best I’ve ever had!) in the morning to many many gluten free options for dinner it was the best gluten free eating of our two week vacation! It is a very short way from town but they offer a shuttle bus every 30 minutes which is very easy and convenient. The indoor pool and outdoor hot tub with incredible views was a great way to pass the time (again, kid friendly). Can’t wait to go back next December as this will become surely a yearly family tradition.

This is a luxury experience with excellent staff (very friendly and attentive), excellent services - the grand restaurant with a sense of occasion, the rooms and faciliities. Thoroughly recommend a pre dinner drink in bar. The private ski lift is an easy way to access the slopes.

From the moment we were picked up at the train station until they dropped back off for departure this was one of the best hotels and staffs I have ever dealt with anywhere. |The manager greats you upon arrival and departure and takes a true interest in your happiness. |The front desk staff and concierge could not do enough for you. |The restaurant staff fast efficient and professional all with a smile. The people that worked in the pool and spa area took great care of everyone all the time. The ladies that cleaned the rooms were fantastic. |Everyone that worked at this hotel were happy, friendly, professional and some of the best hospitality people I have seen. |Now the hotel itself?? Equally amazing!! Beautiful entry, beautiful rooms, fantastic health club and pool area. Easy access to town. The rooms, lobby, restaurant and grounds were impeccable!!|One of the best hotels I have stayed in anywhere in the world!!!

Yelp
I went here in March, and it's of my favorite hotels I've EVER stayed at. Yes it's bougie af, but I was on vacation so...TREAT YO SELF. They picked us up from the train station in this cute little old school trolley. The hotel was so grand - I felt I was entering the Grand Budapest hotel, except in Switzerland lol. Omg the breakfast buffet is included in your stay. You definitely have to take advantage of it. It's so tasty and they offer a variety of options.
