Where to Drink, Ski, and Shop in St. Moritz, According to the CEO of Moncler

"Suvretta House, perched on a mountainside plateau towards the south, retains an old-world atmosphere, with its snow-dusted turrets and coffered ceilings."

Suvretta House (St. Moritz, Swiss Alps) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Suvretta House, a palatial hotel set in a scenic alpine landscape just outside St. Moritz, opened to great fanfare and a well-timed snowfall in 1912. More than a century later, it’s still one of the top places to stay in one of Europe’s most exclusive destinations. It retains an old-world air, from the snow-dusted turrets, wood beams, and coffered ceilings to the billiards room, private ice skating rink, oak-paneled bar, and a richly decorated dining room where even children are required to dress for dinner. Guest rooms are comparatively simple but luxe, with classic wooden furnishings and heavy drapery framing large windows. Breakfast is a lavish Swiss-style affair, and there’s a beautiful indoor swimming pool facing views of the mountains. Icing on the cake: the hotel has a private ski lift just for guests." - Tablet Hotels

Fantastic experience. The hotel is highly recommended. Rooms are very spacious, every detail is thought of, lovely breakfast, great spa facilities with indoor pool, which has a diving section and outdoor jacuzzi, all is all superb. Breakfast is in a very nice restaurant, plenty of choice, lots of cozy space for socialising

Suvretta House is a truly outstanding five-star resort. The service is exceptional—warm, attentive, and effortlessly professional. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and impeccably maintained, offering both comfort and elegance. The spa is world-class, serene, and perfectly designed for total relaxation. Every detail reflects quality and care. An unforgettable stay in every way, and I will absolutely be back.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – CHF 5,400 per Night I paid CHF 5,400 for one night, which comes with very high expectations that were not met. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. In addition, there was no proper double bed for a couple, only two separate single beds, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. Room service was very poor: dust was not cleaned, dirty plates with leftover food were left in the room, and the floor was dirty. For a hotel charging this price, the level of comfort, cleanliness, and service is completely unacceptable.

My wife and I stayed at Suvretta this past March for our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. As soon as you enter the lobby, the place feels so magical and homey. Our suite was so comfortable and clean, and not to mention how amazing the luxury bathrooms were. The turn down service was special and timely. The breakfast was over the top incredible, with such a large selection and quality food. The service was impeccable. It is so convenient to ski with just steps away from a lift. The ski lockers were very comfortable too. Our favorite part, the tea time after a long day of skiing. 🫖 We highly recommend Suvretta for a luxury ski vacation. We hope to come back again soon! We ♥️ Suvretta!

Google
Absolutely amazing stay at Suvretta House. I chose this location after alot of research. We were traveling with our six year old so I wanted a very kid friendly place. From the snacks and stuffed animal in the room when we arrived to going the extra mile at dinner to make sure he was happy they went above and beyond. He did not stay at the kids club but we did drop by to check it out. It looked great, and the woman running it was very kind. Had we stayed longer we would have utilized this. A HUGE bonus that I was not expecting is that they have so many gluten free options. From a basket of gluten free bread (changing every day and the best I’ve ever had!) in the morning to many many gluten free options for dinner it was the best gluten free eating of our two week vacation! It is a very short way from town but they offer a shuttle bus every 30 minutes which is very easy and convenient. The indoor pool and outdoor hot tub with incredible views was a great way to pass the time (again, kid friendly). Can’t wait to go back next December as this will become surely a yearly family tradition.

Yelp
I went here in March, and it's of my favorite hotels I've EVER stayed at. Yes it's bougie af, but I was on vacation so...TREAT YO SELF. They picked us up from the train station in this cute little old school trolley. The hotel was so grand - I felt I was entering the Grand Budapest hotel, except in Switzerland lol. Omg the breakfast buffet is included in your stay. You definitely have to take advantage of it. It's so tasty and they offer a variety of options.
