The fool was great. They have a lot of options on the menu. I just feel that they a little pricey. Overall, the food was good. very clean, decent music, beautiful place.

I loved the atmosphere! My Bam Bam Shrimp was delicious. I’ll definitely come back! We had empanadas with chips and guacamole/mango for appetizers - yum! They went fast!

I came here for a birthday dinner on February 21st. Although it’s located in a not-so-great neighborhood, the ambiance inside was absolutely beautiful. The music was great and really set the vibe for the night. The food was a mix of hits and misses. I ordered the Caesar salad and the salmon with asparagus, and both were AMAZING — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. However, my cousin ordered the red snapper, and unfortunately, it tasted and smelled overly fishy, like it came straight out of the ocean and was thrown right into the fryer. Another cousin had the churrasco, which was very chewy and not tender at all. The biggest disappointment was the service. Our waitress was not attentive — she didn’t check on our table once, didn’t ask how the food was, and was missing for most of the night. Also, the bathrooms were extremely dirty. The restaurant itself is so beautiful, but the restrooms were the complete opposite. The smell was overwhelming — like a porta potty — and I literally gagged when I walked in. If you need to use the bathroom, you’re honestly better off holding it. Overall, I did enjoy myself and would love to give the restaurant another chance because the ambiance and some of the food were great. I just hope the service and cleanliness improve next time.

Drinks are well balanced. Good vibes with great music. Service is hit or miss depending on the day and how busy it is.

I came with my family on Tuesday and it was a bit busy, but the food was excellent and the atmosphere was nice. The waitresses Jocelyn and Catherine were very attentive at all times, and the manager, John, was very nice and helpful to everyone. I will definitely come back and recommend this place. A hidden gem in the Bronx.

Was invited here for my pre-birthday dinner by my kids! Great atmosphere, really good food! The music was a bit loud, but all in all I had a great time!

Came on a Friday night for happy hour. And it was packed, really great vibes. Great music, great food and great service, Ilike the drinks. I ordered the wings, french fries, sliders and empanadas, and empanadas were really good. We had the chicken empanadas. I'll definitely try to come again.

It was empty on a Friday they acted like there was a wait. Food was not bad it’s just odd to seat people with no menus. We were celebrating a birthday & establishment seemed to have no etiquette.

Finally got the chance to try this spot after living Uptown for a few years now (I'm late, I know!) I'm so happy to have a spot like this nearby. You can't tell how cool it is from the outside, but the space inside is so huge & unique. The different rooms showed the different vibes and uses for the space. Perfect for parties or any kind of celebration. Now for the food- 10/10. My bf & I only ended up getting a few appetizers and drinks which were filling enough. The duck mofongo was outstanding. We also got the duck bao buns which were delicious. I was referred to this place by a fellow foodie and love referring my friends when they're in the Bx. Looking forward to going back for a full dinner.

I so wanted to love this place based on the reviews, and the other couple I was with were equally exictied. We came about 7 pm on a Thursday night, and I was not sure we were in the right place. I am not sure if this plave knows what it wants to be? Is it a bar, a restaurant, or a nightclub? Insta posts show this lovely soft music/date plae...however you walk in and the lights are low, flashing lights, and they had an actual DJ (Leslie) that had the music so loud people were shouting at each other. My friends apple watch went off and told her "warning excessice noise volume." There isn't even a dance floor, so I am not sure why in the world the music would be that loud. What was being played would have been fine (club music), just turned down. Service - we were seated right away and then ignored by every server for over 20 minutes. The servers would walk by, look at us, and keep walking. We almost left. Finally, a manager came by and asked if we had been helped and took our order. Apps came out in a decent amount of time, maybe 10-15 min, and they all looked good. My friend said her potstickers were good. We had the pork boa buns that had soggy bottoms and way overcooked pork (pork jerky). However, the pickled carrots on top were amazing. We also ordered the capellini steak. Which is steak, pasta, and mixed greens on top. It came out missing the pasta. When I asked the server, she said that is how it came, and "capenelli" means something else, but she could not tell me what it meant? I showed her a picture of what calenelli Pasta was, and she just shrugged - she did offer to go get a plate of pasta - we declined. My friend had several items missing off her dish. Which hey if your out of stuff, change your menu or just tell people - we get it. The supply chain is tough , but be honest. The dessert was a cheesecake with strawberries ontop- the strawberries were still frozen (they should not have been) but it tasted good. Overall highs and lows but the music being turned up so loud, poor service, confused menu...not sure why this place is so beloved??

Excellent food and service! Our waiters were attentive and helpful. I really appreciated the endless options of cocktails; were stiff and flavorful. The Lomo Salteado was flavorful and succulent. My only nitpick would be the music was a tad too loud. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back.

Back to this place 6 years later the drinks are still fun and there are shiny spots on the menu. The beef empanadas were delicious as was the yuca mash with cheese. Pillowy deliciousness! I literally kept going wow this mash slaps! I didn't quite enjoy the texture on the steak and wish the music was a little quieter. I did visit on a Saturday night so can understand why the music was at the level it was and the DJ. There was an issue with not enough seating for a reservation of 10 which started out the night a little awkward but all in all we had a good time. The wings were also a highlight!

Can't stop raving about the food and drinks at this place! I will always recommend Suyo! Everything is good. EVERYTHING!

Came to this Asian Latin fusion 2020-2021 Michelin's Bib Gourmand award winning restaurant for a birthday celebration. For an appetizer I tried the pork belly bao buns. I liked the sweetness of the red onions, crispiness of the cucumbers, flavors of the cilantro, and juiciness of the salsa. The bun was soft, fresh, and delicious. For entree, I had churrasco peruano; Served with fries and Asian salad. It was good. I felt like more chimichurri sauce would have made it better and more flavorful, and a different side would have made it more filling. I tried my boyfriend's pork chop and mashed yuca. I'm a fan of yuca, it was good. I ordered a spicy margarita and sidecar to drink. The spicy margarita was too boring in flavor and the side car was too sweet for me. I should have picked something from the drink menu instead. We brought a birthday cake for dessert. Service was good. Ambiance was nice. The food was presented well. I hope my family suggests spots in the Bronx more often, such an easier ride than going to the city.

Overall Thoughts: This is an innovative Asian-Latin Michelin Bib Gourmand spot in the Bronx with friendly service and a low-light, intimate vibe. The dish presentations were creative, aesthetic, and diverse in flavors, colors, and textures. I came to celebrate my partner's birthday and appreciated the care that the staff put into making it special. Definitely recommend this spot for a little brunch/dinner splurge or for special occasions. They also have live music that starts at ~8:30pm. Food I tried: - Confit Duck Mofonguitos (4/5): I liked the presentation of this dish and how it had many diverse textures-- with a soft, grainy mofongo base, crunchy pickled veggies, and tender duck. I felt the flavor of the mofongo base was a little bland though, but the duck itself was quite good and flavorful. - Yakitory Tofu (4.3/5): This was a delicious vegetarian option with a nice tangy, sweet purée flavor. The tofu texture was perfect, with a crispy exterior and soft interior. - Roasted Salmon (4.6/5): Enjoyed this one-- the salmon was tender, flaky and umami, and the fried rice was really good, full of flavor. I liked the tangy marinade which paired well with the neutral creamy avocado flavor. - Chocolate Lava Cake (5/5): This was soft, rich, decadent, and delicious. Though they don't do complimentary birthday desserts, I ordered this cake with sparkler candles for $13, which they brought out for us as the live performer sang happy birthday. -- Price (relative to peers): 4/5 Food: 4.4/5 Ambience: 4.9/5 Service: 5/5 Overall Value: 4.5/5

I visited Suyo on two occasions; once after work just to check this place out, I enjoyed the food, drinks and music. I also celebrated my bday there. I had dinner with a group of 10. service was very good. No Issues! loved it.

Suyo is handing out good vibes and good service. As a parent, I try to get out as much as I can, and that means bringing my broke best friend. Suyo staff were very courteous and helpful from the moment I came in on a Tuesday during happy hour. Helping with my stroller was top tier, you hear me. The food was great. I tried tye Thai wings, Thai friend rice and my little one enjoyed it all including the fries. Great ambiance as well.

The menu is constantly changing. You never know what you could order and the host is not that experienced in telling you what's going on.

First off, the food was DISGUSTING. The music was extremely loud, and they had the audacity to charge gratuity on our bill on a table of 4. Mind you the service was mediocre. This place will never see my business again. SAD BUSINESS AND OVERALL JUST A DISAPPOINTMENT. I am done with Dominican restaurants...

This is a hidden gem of the Bronx. I wanted to gatekeep it and not post it but it would be an injustice not to tell everyone about this place. The food here is phenomenal and possibly the best latin food i've had in New York City. the place is lively with music and has tv to watch the games as well. I really admired the service everyone was kind and attentive to every detail. I plan on going back here in the next few days and try out everything! A+ 100% come here for authentic and wonderful food!

Had a good time at suy gastro fusion in the bronx. Came here with our entourage for a birthday celebration. The place is very lively with a dj playing music upstairs. This place can be loud, but all in good fun and good food. We started the night with spicey margaritas and ordered some appetizers. We tried the charred pulpo, which I thought was really good. It was cooked perfectly and i loved the taste of it. The pork belly buns were very good, too. Gotta love the flavor of the pork and the softness of the bun. I ate one, and my lady had the other two. We then decided to get the double cut pork chop that came with yuca white sweet potato puree, sautéed bokchoy, scallions, fried sweet plantains, and citrus soy marinade. The pork chop was cooked very well it was juicy, soft, flavorful, and thick! We also got the churrasco peruano that came with fries, Asian salad, and chimichurri sauce. The steak was very good and so were the fries. I enjoyed the Asian salad. It had a nice flavor to it. We ordered another round of drinks. Two sidecar they call it. It was really not my thing, probably because I pre gamed beforehand and I didn't want to drink any dark liquor anymore. But the drink itself was not bad. I would come again.

Love this place. Food is great, drinks are creative and also delicious! If you want a date night vibe come before 8pm on the weekends. There's a DJ (who is great) and once he gets going, it's dancing and singing along all night. Bar staff is also great and they're able to handle a full bar with ease.

Fun and funky place right near the train. Early dinner meant drink specials were still on, which was great. Food was delicious and service good.

An After-Work hang out...We come here every other weekend. As always we have a good time when we come. We always get the Sweet Chili Wings, fries, plantanos, and Avacado Rice. Drinks are always on point, the atmosphere is a chill vibe, and the service is always good. We have become regulars...lol

Really nice place I stumbled upon after a Yankee game. It's a little bit of a walk through the Bronx but I'm glad I found it. The service was really good the bartenders knew the drinks like the back of their hand and the staff would clean right after you're done eating at the bar. This is NOT just an aesthetic spot which I love. The drinks were good! The wings were good! I really liked this restaurant and I would definitely come back and recommend to everyone!

Cute and fun spot in the Bronx. The food was great except for the ceviche. The ceviche only came with three pieces of plantain chips and a lot of tomato sauce. The cocktails were fun and taste. The host are kind and we're not prompt to remove us. I brought cake for my friends bday and they the restaurant showered her with bubbles with they brought the cake out. Heads up warning that a photographer goes around asking if you want your picture taken. Idk why I did not assume they'll charge $25 a framed piece. It is nice tho if you want the memory.

Don't let anyone tell you all the good restaurants in New York City are in Manhattan. This former Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant gives you a reason to dine in the Bronx! My friends and I visited on a Thursday evening around 7:30pm and were immediately seated. We were initially escorted to a seat on the casual first floor level; however, we wisely asked to be relocated to the second floor, which had more of a vibe and a live music band. Our waiter was personable and offered us great food and drink recommendations. One of my friends ordered the Bubbles and Dreams cocktail (vodka, hibiscus nectar, lemon, cava), while my other friend opted for a tequila drink that was served in a ceramic jar and topped off with a flame. I ordered a drink with mezcal and pineapple. The drinks were flavorful, but not strong. Next up were appetizers! We shared the tostados de pulpo, Thai chicken empanadas, purple corn calamari, and guacamole. Everything was delicious and my personal fave was the Thai chicken empanadas! The appetizers whetted our appetite for the main course. My friends ordered the sweet plantain mofongo with shrimp and roasted salmon dishes respectively, while I opted for the Thai trifongo (lemongrass chicken, orange yuzu, yellow and green plantains, yuca, watermelon radish, fried onion, and furikake). We loved the mofongo and Thai trifongo dishes; however, the salmon was a little overcooked and was upstaged by the accompanying spicy rice and mango salsa. Overall, I had a great experience at this restaurant and would dine here again. Suyo is such a nice addition to the growing restaurant scene in the Bronx. It's a fusion of Asian and Latin cultures and it goes together so well. I've gone for drinks with friends and also dinner on the weekends and have only had pleasant experiences. Some of my favorite menu items are the calamari, the mango sweet chili chicken wings, the skirt steak, and the garlic fried rice. You really cannot go wrong with any of these dishes. They are super flavorful and very filling. I wish I could take some of the chimichurri from the skirt steak and bring it home. They specialize in craft cocktails so do yourself a favor and order at least one. I had the alchemist which they set on fire at the table, very cool for photos. My only complaint is that the live music can be very loud and make it difficult to speak to others in your party

This restaurant is such a gem in the neighborhood! I went on a Saturday night for dinner with my sister and really enjoyed my red snapper. Unlike most places, who fry the snapper, this snapper was grilled and baked to create a soft and flaky fish that was delicious. It came with a tamarind ketchup that I'm still dreaming about. It has a hint of sweetness that levels out the ketchup so nicely. I was excited for the $3 Presidente beer and a live DJ was there spinning all night. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. I will definitely return.

I mean, it was okay. The drink was average and the food was eh. Not amazing to me. The bar tenders were not very tentative bc i kept trying to make eye contact with them and none of them were getting it. The ambiance was um weird. They had live music with some lady screaming in Spanish. Lol issa no for me dawg.

Finally a place from TikTok that is actually good! I first found out about this restaurant because of TikTok. I decided to give it a try and I am grateful that the food is actually good. Most restaurants on TikTok are aesthetically pleasing, but the food is usually lacking. I am glad that Suyo actually looks great and tastes great. I was able to walk-in on a Sunday evening. There was no wait time and we were able to sit immediately. We ordered two drinks: the Queen of Technicolor and the Alchemist. The Queen of Technicolor is visually pleasing because of its purple and orange color scheme. My drink had a heavy pour, but most of the alcohol stayed on top. To balance out the alcohol, make sure to mix the drink. Mixing the drink might mess with visual appeal of the drink, but it makes the drink more palatable. The better of the two drinks was easily the Alchemist. When the drink is brought to the table, it is lit on fite and then some powder is sprinkled on top to make the fire grow more. To put the fire out, a cream is poured over the fire. The drink tastes amazing and smooth once it is mixed. Since I had already eaten prior to coming to this restaurant, we decided to order smaller plates. The first dish to come out was the Panko Maduros. Although this dish is made with ripe plantains, it is not sweet. The ripe plantains are flattened and then breaded with seasonings and fried which leads to a savory dish. I dish comes with a bean sauce to use as a dip for the breaded plantains. I typically do not like beans, but the sauce was actually pretty good. It had a smoked, almost barbecued-like flavor to it. The next small dish that we ordered were the Pork Belly Steam Buns. Three buns come in an order. The pork belly itself was nice and soft and dressed in a dragon salsa and agave citrus vinaigrette that complimented the fattiness of the pork belly. Perhaps what really took these buns to a higher level were the buns themselves. Unlike most bao buns that tend to be bland, the buns used here had taste and substance to them. The buns were so good, that we decided to order an additional order. Overall, the atmosphere here was pretty good. I enjoyed the Latin music that played which was a mix of salsa, bachata, merengue, and reggaeton. I was also pleased that TikTok was actually able to recommend a restaurant that not only was aesthetic, but had good food. I would like to return in the future and try some of the other food that was on the menu.

This place really caught me by surprise in the best way. I loved the food, the music was lit, and the cocktails were as delicious as they were beautiful. I will definitely be going back but here's the rundown: Happy hour- do indulge if you like Margaritas. If not skip it and go straight for their main cocktails. You're gonna get a regular one anyway-you know it. Trust me when I say, save your money so that you can splurge on an extra cocktail if you want. Food- literally everything we had was delicious. The appetizer was bomb- the fried shrimp were nice and crispy. You will definitely be fighting over the last one. For dinner, we got one of the meals for two, the tamarind chicken. It was full of flavor. My favorite part was the coconut rice that came with the chicken. I have never had coconut rice before that truly capture the sweetness and creaminess of the coconut. Dessert - dessert was probably my least favorite, but only because everything else was so good! And the dessert was Delicious! I had a tres leches cake. There were only two options for dessert but I'm sure the other option was good as well Honestly this place probably served some of the best food I've had all year. My only complaint was that I kept getting splashed with cocktail juice from the bartender. It was like splash splash at the bar. But this place is great. Bring all your peoples.

I asked for medium and got medium well. Steak was very flavorful so I decided to not make an issue. If gratuity was not already included based on service I probably would have left a lot less would love to come back an try the chefs table but not with that service homeboy was on his phone and getting her hair done

The empanadas were crispy and beefy The salmon was perfectly cook the rice was very flavorful and fluffy. The mango sauce was wonderful I only with my plate had more of it lol The drinks were delicious The service was wonderful. Our server was so kind her name is Jocelyn. The ambiance was so beautiful

I was looking forward to going here being that i had them on my to go list for a while . However i didn't enjoy my experience. It took almost 20 minutes for someone to ask me what i wanted . Then longer for the drink to come out. I noticed most guest were Latina and they were being tended to very frequently. That is something that was truly disappointing . Once i finally was able to order some wings as an appetizer there was a hair in my Food . Mistakes happen but i didn't like how they went about it . They pretty much suggested the hair was from me being that no one in their kitchen has long hair but i saw the hair as soon as they gave it to me . Everything was beautiful inside and the drinks but even when the guy who had to bring the drink lit it as if he was annoyed and was sarcastic when he said you're welcome . I always much rather write good reviews but this just wasn't a good experience . I ended up leaving to go somewhere else .

I came here for happy hour and I was quite impressed with the selection. I throughly enjoyed the Bubbles & Dreams cocktail which had Vodka, Hibiscus Nectar, Lemon, and Cava sparkling wine. Such a great pairing. The 1738 sidecar was made just right. The environment is great for a girls night out or a date night specifically the private dining room which is surrounded by glass. Only issue is that the area has no parking and you will be searching for quite some time.

I've been hitting the city streets these days and we really get tired of all the southern food spots in Harlem so we decided to try a new "trending" spot in the Bronx tonight . I'm so glad we did . Only a short 15 min drive from Harlem and no problem finding parking , although the location is in a little shaky area (dont really trust it/ too many bums on the block) The restaurant is VERY dominican but I dont mind listening to dominican music tonight, this place is giving me good vibes . Good playlist and fun lighting, everyone smiling feels like a lounge almost. We get to the restaurant and theres no wait for a table for 2 (yesssss) we get seated and order our drinks with Hilario . He wants to drink Don Julio neat (oh so its that kinda night? Ok) I'll have water lol . Oh Hilario Hilario what can I say ? You made our first visit to Suyo Gastrofusion such an amazing experience . He was very friendly and super attentive, and no the place wasn't empty . I ordered some thai chicken empanadas and some mango guacamole as our appetizers. When they arrived they were platted lovely and we noticed that the guac came with ... shrimp chips ? Thats different, but it was also very tasty. He didn't like the green sauce the empanadas came with but I loved it lol (go figure) We decided to get a shared plate - and ordered the whole red snapper and to our surprise it was delicious !!! Oh yes, before you say anything I dont want to hear "oh all spanish food tastes good" because I have DEFINITELY gone to quite a few spanish establishments where the food was trash . (Sofrito, margaritas etc) The food here was tasty, nothing over salted, no confusing flavors. The snapper was char grilled and baked , it came with tostones and this yummy veggie fried rice . I wanted to order another side of rice to go but decided against it . I don't usually frequent Bx eateries but Suyo Gastrofusion has left an impression on me and I can not wait to come back and try something else . Thanks guys

While working nearby I saw this place being built and always wanted to go, but never had the chance. Fast forward to last night... an unfortunate event at the gym led my friend and I to find somewhere to eat and a stiff drink. As we wondered the streets I saw the sign and said let's go there. They check for the vaccine. Girl.... Yes...!!! On the outside it's looks like it would be a regular restaurant, but nope. It was beautiful!! We asked to be seated inside by the bar (best seats) and the staff was very welcoming. My friend and I made friends with the people around us and it felt like a really great chilled hangout location for us to keep coming back to. The food was sooo yummy. They have meat, fish, and vegan options!!!! My friend is vegan so I eat as much vegan food I can when we hangout. The tofu with the sweet potato purée is finger-licking good. I would also recommend the their fried rice with avocado, pineapple, and peas. The drinks are strong and tasty. Lastly, we were surprised with live music on a Monday night! Two guys came onstage and started singing great songs. Those of us sitting by the bar started singing along to the music and had front row seats to the show. Love it. Am I coming back... YES! Bringing friends.... YES! Alone... YES! Might even bring the bartenders pins... they collect pins and put it in their aprons.

Everything about the restaurant was terrible. The wait was over two hours to get food, the food was cold and not cooked properly (steak came out extremely undercooked), multiple food items never came out at all. The music was also blasting so loudly the entire time that we had to shout just to talk to the people right next to us. The waiter was very kind and did his best to fix things, but the night was already ruined. I went home hungry and upset and with a headsche

My friend and I went to dinner to this place. This was my first time and it was an amazing experience. The drinks were strong and flavorful. We shared the beef empanadas, avocado fried rice and red snapper dish. Everything was delicious, tasty and plentiful. The red snapper needed some hot sauce for it was bland, but with the hot sauce it was really good. Will definitely try again.

Ambiance was fun and yet wasn't chaotic. Staff was friendly. Drinks were delicious but the food was the star of the show. Everything we ordered, I was ready to get seconds of. Just- YUM! If I lived closer, I'd be in here weekly. But it's close enough to the NY Botanical Garden so next time I'm there, I'll be back here for dinner.

Delicious fiery drinks set it off in this somewhat hidden gem in the Bronx. From the outside you'd never guess what lies within. It's a big, beautiful space with lively music with the best seats in the house at the bar to watch the artwork of the bartenders as they craft the specialty cocktails with care. Oh and I did I mention they have a Michelin star? Well they do! So don't forget an appetizer, an entree or two.

Everytime I come I get the same thing the fried snapper I will lick that tamarind sauce off the plate if I was home! The service and the ambience is nice great for a date night or a night with friends.

I went on a date to Suyo and i enjoyed my experience. The food was really really good. We had the chicken empanadas and duck buns as an appetizer, both were delicious. For the entree I had the roasted chicken breast, which was very very good. However, it was plated a little sloppy. Presentation is major for me, and if I was a visual eater I wouldn't have been pleased. But it was sooooo good. My date had the skirt steak, he enjoyed his meal. Also, I'm big on dessert and I didn't really enjoy the Tres Leche. The drink I ordered "The Alchemist", was present really fancy with fire, however, it was disgusting and had a terrible after taste. The waiter, who was very attentive, was nice enough to switch it out and bring me Sangria which was really good and strong. The place is spacious and nice. The bar area is gorgeous. My only issue was that the bathroom was stink.

The food was really good! Servers were nice and attentive. The interior design and ambiance was very welcoming. My only suggestion is to have a dedicated space for large groups as it can be a little overwhelming.

Walking into the restaurant, I liked the aesthetics. It made me forget that I was in the South Bronx. Very clean and beautiful look on the way in. The front desk ladies were welcoming. We were a group of 3 celebrating my cousins bday. I had the pork chop with mashed potatoes and it was so delicious and very well seasoned. The other 2 ppl in my party enjoyed my meal more than their own. The waitress was fun and pleasant. The latin music was good. We had an overall good experience.

Great Michelin star restaurant in the Bronx! I dined here three times so far in order to offer a fair assessment. PROS: *Staff is great! Super friendly, engaging, and fast-but you don't feel rushed. *Beautiful interior design and roomy. You're not sitting in the lap of the next table of guests. The place is huge with three levels and enough restrooms that you don't have to wait and wiggle :) *The drinks are on point no matter what you order! Going during happy hour is a must! *The food was a hit twice and a total miss once. I ordered the same items in order to make a fair comparison: fried shrimp dumplings, avocado rice, Thai rice, roasted salmon, shrimp egg rolls, bam bam shrimp, veggie pad Thai, rice & black beans, sweet plantains. The first visit was on a Saturday evening and the food was beyond delicious! I loved that every item has it's own distinct flavor/seasoning. The second visit was on a Thursday evening and it was the worst! Everything, and I mean everything, tasted like black pepper. So much so, you could actually see the pepper on the food. Someone had to have made a mistake in the kitchen. I was unable to finish the food. The third visit was on a Tuesday evening and all the stars were aligned! The food was seasoned to perfection. The Thai rice is my favorite dish, and I'm not a big rice eater. CONS: IT'S TOO LOUD! Did you hear what I said? IT'S TOO LOUD! Unfortunately, having a conversation is virtually impossible. The music is at deafening levels and the later it gets the louder it gets. A drummer (not a band) played to accompany the already loud music. It was unnecessary and only made having conversations out of the question. My party of four had to leave earlier than we would have like because of this. FINAL THOUGHTS: Beautiful restaurant with good food, drinks, staff, and service. Go when they open, the music isn't so loud at that point. I'll definitely return in the future.

I love Suyo so much we hosted our engagement party there. The food is always great, the drinks are phenomenal and the vibe is just .. a vibe. My favorite is the calamari which is always super fresh and perfectly cooked. but there are so many other dishes I've tried and enjoyed. Stop by for a drink and you won't regret it

First time visiting in nyc. Definitely a must visit when it's not busy. The service was good but the wait for food was almost 1 hour long ... well worth the wait tho. One of the best wings i ever had. The avocado fried rice was delicious and the double cut pork chop was spectacular. Again you will be waiting for a while for the food but it's well worth it. A must visit for a drink, good food & great vibes.

We were first seated at a bar height table. Our server, I think she's a manager, was so considerate of my knee injury (wearing a brace) as soon as she was made aware. She found a regular table for us as soon as one became available. Thank you! Dinner was amazing! I'm craving the tostadas de pulpo (which we shared) & can't wait to go back to have some more. The cocktails were delicious! Everyone enjoyed their food, no complaints. Didn't take pictures because we dug in and ate until we finished everything. Will definitely be back!

Came here for happy hour with my coworkers. They weren't too thrilled to have a large group arrive without a reservation especially since there was already another party occupying the bar area. They gave us the "VIP" area upstairs. Even though we were supposed to have someone take our orders, we wound up going directly to the bar because the server was also the bartender. She handled both jobs very well! They have great happy hour prices and the drinks are good! I had the bubbles and dream ($6+tax). Since it's made with vodka and cava it was very strong for me! The passion fruit margarita seemed to be a popular choice for many. I sampled a little bit of the fried rice and wings that a coworker ordered. Both very good! I'll happily go back to this place (for happy hour)!
