Google
So many good choices for foods. I had a hard time picking what I wanted! Service was so nice & very fast, we sat outside and had the beautiful Sausalito view. We're regulars here whenever we visit Sausalito! 100% recommend 🔥

Vlada A.

Google
The best place in this area. Amazing view, beautiful interior, delicious food, very cozy and good music. The only thing is that we waited longer than usual for our food, but there is one man working at the bar who also acts as a hostess and a waiter in one person. So we were understanding. I recommend trying the apricot dessert. Very cozy place, we will definitely come back here again.

Google
This was our third time at Suzette in Sausalito and it just keeps getting better! The Pain Perdu with berry compote and cream was incredible — crisp outside, soft inside, with the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The Gaufres with fresh berries and cream were light, fluffy, and full of flavor. And the Steak Frites was spot on — tender, perfectly cooked steak with a rich sauce and crispy fries that were addictive. The food is consistently amazing, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is always great. Every bite was a joy. Suzette is easily one of our favorite spots in Sausalito, and we’ll keep coming back!

Google
I had a lovely brunch at Suzette with a friend! We both enjoyed our meals- I had the French toast with a cappuccino and she had a crispy omelette with roasted potatoes. Both meals were very well made. The service was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the nice weather. The view from the sidewalk was beautiful!

Google
We stumbled across this place because everywhere else we wanted to try was fully booked! Food was pretty mediocre tbh but the view made up for it. It does get pretty busy so you might need to wait a while before getting served.

Valerie R.

Google
Lovely atmosphere, service and food! Truly felt like a European cafe experience. Ordered the very cozy salted caramel latte + French toast- great water views and people watching spot in Sausalito.

Rudy R.

Google
Delicious lunch!! Fresh, cold oysters, French onion soup excellent ( needs a slice of french bread on side for us non-french crowd😀), and steak and frites were extra yummy!

Google
Food looks good in the picture but doesn’t taste good at all. Worse ciabatta burger and omelets we had. Mimosa not good at all! Not worth for the price we paid.

Yelp
Came here for brunch in a Saturday for 2, and didn't have to wait at all. Got outdoor seating since it was a beautiful day in Sausalito so had to take advantage. We ordered the oysters, inside out omelette and the smoked salmon Benedict. I really liked the omelette! It was pretty unique omelette since the ingredient weren't all mixed in, and the egg was sort of like a taco shell. Honestly, I think the weather, location and view really added to the whole experience and really enjoyed the meal. I think I would come back again if I were ever in Sausalito again!

Yelp
Lovely way to start a breakfast morning. Salmon benedict and a beuf bourguigion stew - french style. As you gaze out the window seat, the start of the morning street shoppers have already started. The mocha and tea have wet your appetite, followed by the full on tast of the stew and benedict. A classic meal in a beautiful setting - we will be back again and again.

Yelp
Didier & Team Make Dining Feel Like Paris in Sausalito "Tout est impeccable." From the moment you step in--wedged between a wild shirt shop and a pizza hallway--you're transported. The dining room opens up like a secret, looking out to the silver sea, and suddenly you're in France. The menu? Traditional French, crafted with care. Escargot, pâté, moules, boeuf bourguignon--every bite is ooh la la perfection. It's refined without fussy being optional..... You can taste the owner's devotion in every detail. This is one of Sausalito's true hidden gems, underrated and quietly extraordinary. And then there's Didier. He doesn't just work the floor--he is the floor. A one-man show who somehow makes it all flow seamlessly, with cordial warmth and an elegance that feels Parisian to the bone. Impeccable timing, impeccable grace. He makes you feel like you're part of the story here. I'm going to add five stars--because I can't give it six.

Yelp
Pleasant surprise brings tasty delight to Sausalito! Being a dessert guy, just love the Macarons, Apple Pie, avec glacé, if you like ice cream on your pie & the Fresh seasonal berries to delight the senses & tastebuds! Yum

Yelp
We enjoyed the burger and fries, it was enough to feed us both! Has a great view. Had to request more fries because they were not fresh. Great view. Tried the breakfast sandwich and would not order that again.

Yelp
A cozy café with a beautiful view of the bay. Seating is both inside and outside, with the outside seating understandably seeming to be more popular. We visited at brunch on Friday, but they also have a dinner menu posted. There were two servers on staff and both were attentive and friendly. I greatly enjoyed my BLT eggs Benedict - it had lemon zest that really brought out the flavor.

Yelp
Suzette is a charming little bistro/cafe on the Sausalito waterfront facing San Francisco. Come here on a clear day and experience the magic all around. The first time I visited, they had just opened. Fast forward a couple years later, I'm happy they are still thriving. I'm a creature of habit, so I can't help but order the same thing every time - steak frites! I just LOVE it!!!! Transports me back to Paris, c'est tres bon! I always ask for aioli for my fries, and my meal never disappoints. Last visit I got my usual, along w the mussels and the burrata salad. My gosh, I was a happy camper apres dinner.

Amanda A.

Yelp
I wouldn't recommend this place. The owner was rude, and we didn't even get the chance to place an order. Despite there being only two other customers and the restaurant not being busy at all, we still experienced poor customer service almost immediately after arriving. Things were uncomfortable enough that we decided to get up and leave. One employee did apologize and seemed embarrassed by the owners behavior, but by then the experience had already been ruined. We ended up going to Sausalito Bakery & Cafe afterward, and the difference was like night and day.

Katyayini K.

Yelp
Had a great breakfast, docked one point off because of the service - weren't very attentive and were slightly rude. Saw this comment on multiple reviews - so I hope the restaurant works on this. Got the French toast and the crispy omelette. The latter was really good with the pistachio pesto - prosciutto tasted more like ham than prosciutto. The French toast was phenomenal!!! The compote was tart and the toast was very nicely crusted! Loved that it wasn't heavy enough but filling for a light breakfast!

Yelp
This place is amazing! We sat at the bar. Could see the ocean! The bartender and servers were all so nice and our meals were amazing!

Yelp
Located right on Sausalito's main street, Bridgeway, Suzette's is a most delightful warp to a Parisian bistro. The view of San Francisco and the Bay alone are worth the visit. Didier is a gracious and funny host, exhibiting that graceful economy of movement you expect from a professional. We felt most welcome in his care. The restaurant is well-lighted, with ample seating within and on the sidewalk. The latter comes with a cozy fire and blankets to ward off the marine fog's chill. This evening we choose: BISON CARPACCIO - Brillat-Savarin, pickled red onion and black olive tapenade Extremely satisfying, creamy, and tasty. CRISPY KATAFI GOAT CHEESE SALADE - Pomegranate, organic watermelon radishes little gem lettuce and pomelos A big portion of a savory and crunchy salad; the angel hair filo dough is a great texture! DUCK CONFIT & POMMES CAMPAGNARDES - Smashed fingerling potatoes, caramelized onions, smoked Niçoise olives, and a shallot confit sauce One of the best ducks I've had in a very long time, sauced with a deep, grounding essence of farmland. I'll definitely be craving this. BŒUF BOURGUIGNON - Beef stew with mushrooms, bacon, pearl onions, and buttery mashed potatoes Amazing stew, and mashed potatoes that put others to shame. This was a great date night, perfect for the location and menu! Thanks, Didier!!

Yelp
I made a dinner reservation for 2 with a preference for outside seating. The weather turned out colder than anticipated, and when I walked in there was no one there except a few customers at one table. Asked Didier politely if I could move my reservation to indoors, he pointed me to the corner booth and said "you can take the table in the corner". When I sat down, he yelled "not that one, the one next to it" so loudly the other table stopped talking and stared at me. The one next to it was a dinky table along the side wall, not corner, and had no chairs. I asked him where I was supposed to sit, he yelled about the restaurant being too full and walked into the kitchen. Eventually a waiter brought chairs. After 1.5 hours of dining, not one customer came into the restaurant and the corner table sat untouched. The food was completely forgettable and the waiter wouldn't let us share an entree. I won't be coming back.

Yelp
We sat inside and the seating and tables are for petite people. If you're tall or overweight/obese, I recommend sitting outside. The tables weren't completely solid - meaning you can push down on them which was weird. Food was tasty and the bacon in the beef bourguignon was delicious, thick, and not too salty. The beef was pretty good too. There were slices of bread with tapenade. I've never had this with a Niçoise salad before. It would have been better if the greens were closer to bitesize. Steak and eggs- no complaints and the steak was tasty. Make sure you check out the baked goods on the counter before you leave or before you ask for the check. The Madeleines were very oily and tasted just ok. Will update this review once I've tried the chocolate bar. Employees were friendly, our water glasses were always full, and they clear the table of dirty dishes right away.

Yelp
This has become one of my French cafes in the Bay Area. A beautiful view of the Bay coupled with delicious food, friendly service and a lovely place for me to come and enjoy my fashion magazines (yes, they still print them). Every visit, I'm always greeted by the charming and delightful owner, Didier. This last visit, as I was leaving the cafe, he gave me a quick twirl and spin around the cafe floor. If you make a trip out to Sausalito, please make Suzette a place to visit.

Yelp
Charming French-inspired breakfast spot by the water! The food is excellent, and their unique take on Benedicts really stands out. Highly recommend if you're looking for a tasty breakfast in the area. Just note--seating is limited!

Yelp
Where do I start? Cute place overlooking the water, but rude service. The restaurant looks like you would order at the counter and sit outside. So, I asked him where we should order. His response, "This is a restaurant, go sit down." Anyway, we still went out to sit and were ignored for several more minutes while he attended to other tables and did not even acknowledge us. So much so that after a few mins we left without ordering. Disappointing.

Yelp
Cute little restaurant with glorious location and wonderful ambiance. We stopped in for breakfast around 9 am and had the place to ourselves. The decor is very tasteful yet elegant with cleaver details- well designed. Had the wonderful Brioche French toast with berry compote. Especially enjoyed the hint to citrus in the compote. The tables are covered in brass- a nice touch especially with paired with vintage brass weights to keep the tab stationary on the platter - great attention to detail.

Yelp
Everything . Because 90 percent of customers are from the Ferry they are not bothered about quality.About as French as Idaho. Slow indifferent service, stale salad, ridiculous prices a total rip off. Anywhere else without all the tourists it would go bust in 10 minutes. All this fancy Bonjour stuff is just a facade. To be avoided . Plenty proper restaurants not too far. As locals we will give it a wide berth .Yuk.

Yelp
Best in Class, but small. The view of the bay is amazing. The cafe interior design with white marble countertops, colors blue and gold set an elegant vibe. Outdoor bistro tables very small, watch out for bees in the flower pots. Food was fresh, savory, and amazing.
google avatar

Gregory K.

Yelp
We ate breakfast here and enjoyed the foood and the service was excellent. I had the Croque Madam and the sunny side up egg was perfect, I rarely order eggs this wat because invariably the whites are not cooked properly or the yolk is overcooked. My wife had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Bendict and the hollandaise sause was excellent and the poached eggs were perfect. We found the service to be attentive without being intrusive and had a wonderful meal.

Joyalene H.

Yelp
The service was amazing, food was appetizing, and overall atmosphere on point. If I could afford it I would come here everyday!! There was this French cheese that was mouth-wateringly reminiscent of my dreams. Please try it out and say hi to the best server, Didi!
google avatar

Yelp
Super cute cafe next to the water in Sausalito! The pair who served me were super attentive, quick, and kind. :) + Lavender Vanilla Latte (4/5) This was pretty good. The coffee is strong! There was a little too much lavender syrup in mine which made the drink overpoweringly sweet. Other than that, loved the aesthetic of the restaurant!
google avatar

Saba D.

Yelp
Had the most delicious waffle in my life! Its a MUST Try! The coffee is good and balanced and I liked how they serve hot latte in a soup bowl with nice view, loved the experience. The service was good they just seem to be new and trying to figure out how to handle a busy Sunday. Good luck!

Yelp
Food was not that okay. Coming to Sausalito averaging prices of burger in that area ($25-30) somehow is expected to be really good. The host/cashier/server was kind though. Nothing fancy on food. We had 2 burgers with brie cheeses and mine was the sausage with fries @ $24. Not sure if the sausage was supposed to be not fully grinded, had pork and some other meat that it falls down when you cut or bite. BTW, there is $3.9 % tip auto- charged on the table and my son need to ask for water refill.

Yelp
Consistently flawless food and service in one of the prettiest towns on the planet. We've been here many times, from a quick midweek bite to a special occasion to even Thanksgiving dinner. Current favorites include the baked provencale ratatouille served with grilled garlic pesto bread, which will warm your soul on a cold day. If there's a list of the world's best salads out there, Suzette's crispy katafi goat cheese salad should be on it. The delicate katafi pastry is wrapped around creamy goat cheese, adding tremendous flavor and crunch to a salad of little gem lettuce, pomegranate seeds, watermelon radishes, pomelo and a perfectly balanced vinaigrette. Or how about some after-work wine and appetizers like the housemade pate de campagne on levain toast? You can't miss at Suzette.

Yelp
I'll be kind enough to not say why the waiters were so distracted today despite the photo I have of it-- but I will add that one of them was actively rude to my mother during ordering. He threw the menu hard onto the others when she double checked that he had written down her dessert. He was upset and in a tantrum-like voice, he whined that my mom had said she did not want that dessert. This was not the case. Me, my mother, and grandmother were shocked. We wished to leave but were too scared and shocked to go. The waiter was obviously in a rush to visit the distraction or may constantly have his ups and downs. The burger was delicious though! And the waiter may have noticed the photo I took-- but eventually he did try to lighten the mood and joke with my mother about her choice to eat fries with her dessert side by side. I do not plan to come back to Suzette.

Yelp
Am I in France? Always amazing French food and outstanding service! Love coming here when I'm missing Paris. Warm blankets for cold nights too and a gorgeous San Francisco view
google avatar

Whitney T.

Yelp
Delicious food and drinks and great service! We came here with a group of 10 for my bridal shower and they were nice enough to set our large group up outside by pushing smaller tables together. Beautiful view of the bay! They also let us stay for several hours which was very nice. My scrambled egg sandwich was so good and we all loved the peach and strawberry Bellinis.
google avatar

Ilya K.

Yelp
We were eyeing this place for a while and let me tell you Mezzo it is not. The arrangement and quality is par for a construction site food cart, not a top location in Sausalito. We had andouillette frites and ratatouille sandwich. It was very simple and not in a good way. For the former picture a sausage at the top of the plate and simple fries tossed around the remaining space. For the latter a sandwich and 4 wilted lettuce leafs topped with a tablespoon of vinaigrette (they had audacity to call it a salad!). Come on guys, you have an opportunity to charge top dollar, don't skim on food and service.
google avatar

Michael V.

Yelp
The view is incredible. And they have some fantastic Vegan dishes. The bar is comfy and you are facing the best part of the view

Bridget H.

Yelp
Suzette is a little slice of Paris in Sausalito. We enjoyed the duck confit and beef bourguignon. Both dishes were delicious as were the escargot and little gem salad. Nice wine list, excellent service and beautiful waterfront views.

Nazeli A.

Yelp
The crispy omelette was the most recommended thing on the menu and it was mid. Burger was also mid, slightly flavorless.
google avatar

Carolyn P.

Yelp
The setting and the decor are beautiful! And that is where the goodness ended for me. Nobody was particularly interested in waiting on me, I had the Croque Madame and it was very disappointing. The bread was soaked in a bland pasty bechamel sauce. The cheese had no flavor and the tiny piece of ham added no redeeming taste to make up for the bland mush that surrounded it. First and last time I will visit.
google avatar

Armen M.

Yelp
My mother in law recommended this place to me after her first trip to SF so I had to check it out. I came here for their Valentine's Day dinner and tried their special menu. They are a smaller, cozier restaurant that also offers outdoor seating with a view of the city. Their Valentine's Day menu was absolutely fantastic. We came for a brunch a couple months later and had the same waiter, who remembered us. Their breakfast sandwich, and truly everything else, are amazing. Definitely need to try this when in Sausalito.
google avatar

Matt J.

Yelp
Though they've only been open a short time, Suzette is already running like a well-oiled machine. The servers were extremely friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is charming as can be. It's especially welcome in a strip of generic restaurants in that part of Sausalito, as the food is unique and thoughtfully composed. The goat cheese salad has great flavor--I give it a minor ding for being a bit heavy handed with the dressing and needing a higher ratio of goat cheese to greens. Suzette currently feels like a hidden gem but deserves to be an institution.

Rich T.

Yelp
TERRIBLE SERVICE, took 30 minutes for bread and the waiter took a person sitting right next us his table away to give it to a different customer I couldn't believe my eyes, Only thing nice thing is the view by the water other than that don't even bother with going here I WOULD HAVE GAVE 0 STARS BUT NOT AN OPTION, Plus the waiter forgot to bring us part of our order. I ordered steak fries and he gave us regular fries.he didn't hear what I said that's his job something tells me he was the owner of giving preferential treatment to the customers next to us that I spoke French.
google avatar

Sean K.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place -5 starts. We walked in for breakfast for 2 and waited on table for 2. The service is horrible. The server asked us to sit on any open table outside. We found plenty of open tables but were not cleaned as prior guest just left. While waiting a party of 7 shows up who came after everyone else. Instead of cleaning tables and sitting guests waiting first, he had an audacity to ask somebody else to move from their table They were eating at so he can accommodate the party of 7 while we are waiting at the table of two. He moved a guest from his table while he was eating to the table we were waiting on to accommodate the party of 7 who came in last. So pathetic. Don't WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE.
google avatar

Robin W.

Yelp
I eat here regularly and was happy to introduce my daughter to Suzette. Word to the wise: French bacon is closer to raw ham than bacon. Disgusting in an omelette.
google avatar

Sifath M.

Yelp
The restaurant is such a cute place right by the water. I walked in and was intrigued by the place. However the service takes forever. It took us forever to get a servers attention but once we were seated they were able to take our orders and helped us through the menu. Steak Tartare - 4/5 -it was well seasoned and had such flavor. It was very smooth and the bread was well made for the tartare. However, there was no pepper or really a kick to the tartare. Escargot - 4/5 - It was very flavorful and well prepared. My main complaint was that it was very oily. Also when they asked us if we wanted bread, we said yes. We thought it was a side for the escargot but they charged us for the bread. We would've never asked for it if we knew we had to pay. Moules Mariniers- 4/5 - this meal was very generous in terms of the amount of muscles. The muscles were well prepared and well seasoned. However it felt like it was missing something. It was just muscles. I wished it had something along with it like pasta or potatoes. French Onion Burger - 2/5 - I really thought i would enjoy the burger but i was wrong. The burger was so hard to grab as soon as i tried to bite it. The bread was so soggy to the point where it felt mush. The meat also wasn't well seasoned and felt so bland. The best part of the dish was probably the fries that came with it Overall this restaurant is very nice and it's a beautiful view. Will definitely come back to try the other items on this menu.
google avatar

Joan A.

Yelp
Excellent view, with good food and drinks. The quiche was well executed, and I appreciated the salad that came with it. Specialty drinks were reasonably priced and tasty. Outdoor space is best for smaller parties, as the tables are primarily 2-3 person.
google avatar

Ashlei K.

Yelp
C'était incroyable ! What a beautiful new addition to Sausalito. My husband and I came in for dinner and sat at the bar. We had a lovely time with the bartender, Didier. He was very friendly and welcoming and recommended the best wine and appetizers for us to have. We had the paté to start and it was delicious. Very authentic to true French cuisine. We found out that the chef (Olivier) was also the owner of the restaurant and he came out to greet us which was very nice of him. It was a lovely experience and we will definitely be coming back. Food, wine, ambiance, service, all 5/5. We highly recommend visiting Suzette!
google avatar

Kirke H.

Yelp
Delicious food, authentically French, great views, attentive service by Didier. A wonderful addition to Sausalito.

71samrath ..

Yelp
Macrons were stale and super hard, burger was super dry - Steak came out dry and well done instead of medium rare. Service was also below average. One star for the view

Ernesto N.

Yelp
Ordered the eggs Benedict with potatoes. The eggs Benedict were not very flavorful and the potatoes were cooked in old oil(you can taste it). I've had eggs Benedict at a lot of different places and these were the worst. For the price you would expect a much better meal.
google avatar

Lauren K.

Yelp
We walked in for some coffees to-go and these lattes didn't disappoint! It was early in the morning and all the seats were filled.
google avatar

Maria B.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time at Suzette, ambience was great and we all enjoyed our food and drinks! Everyone who helped us was extremely kind and welcoming. It's kid friendly, my kids shared a burger and French toast which was so delicious! The fries are also so yummy must try! We will be coming back and enjoying a walk along the water after our meal.
google avatar

Caitlin R.

Yelp
I didn't get to eat here, so I feel that I didn't get a real experience, however, I wish I did! We stopped in as we drove through Sausalito to get some caffeine before continuing north. This spot was the absolute cutest. While we waited for our cappuccinos, I perused the menu. The prices and menu items were very appealing. I contemplated grabbing a glass of wine and sitting outside to take in the view but had to keep moving. I will be back.
google avatar

Cynthia S.

Yelp
Been here three times! Food is spectacular. Staff is very efficient, a team and well coordinated. They treat single diners as good as couples or families. Beautiful view too! A must visit. Done!

Lorna L.

Yelp
What a gem. Cute spot in bridgeway that I accidentally came across. Charming, great view across the water on the main drag. The best seabass with red harissa ever, gotta try. Not sure if it's a special.
