"A reliable standby that perhaps doesn’t receive the love it should because of its location on the outskirts of downtown Sacramento, just off Business Loop I-80, Suzie Burger is the place to satisfy a very specific burger craving: hearty and sophisticated in its simplicity without being fussy, loaded but not overwhelming, with just a bit of drip so you feel like you’re participating in something when you eat it. Picture all of that with a drive-in-style parking lot and retro decor á la “The Jetsons.” Don’t skip the fresh, hand-cut fries, and if a decked-out burger is part of the craving, Suzie offers unlimited grilled mushrooms, jalapeños, and grilled or raw unions to accompany their fresh beef patties, along with bacon and chili for an additional fee." - Tamerra Griffin

Wow! I really enjoyed the double cheeseburger combo here. The combo included a double cheeseburger, a big side of fries, and a soft drink. The prices were very reasonable - very good value for the money. The milk shakes are good and reasonably priced as well. There is ample indoor seat and outdoor seating. The place was clean and well kept.

Susie Burgers seriously impressed me. The burger came stacked with mushrooms and jalapeños, and you can customize it however you like. The patty didn’t have that frozen feel—it tasted fresh, like it was actually made right there. Plenty of parking, clean space, and a chill spot to sit down and enjoy your food. Honestly, this isn’t your typical big-name burger chain. It’s better. Way better.

The burger was amazing. Hot, fresh, just the right size. The fry’s are pretty amazing. I never had fries that skinny. So good. The restaurant is like an old garage. Pretty cool. Definitely will come back.

The staff weren't unfriendly, but also didn't seem like they wanted to be there. The fries were a little soggy despite ordering them extra crispy (they were at least hot). Maintenance of the facilities needs to be improved - soda fountain was out of order, 2 stools and one urinal had a garbage bag over them, and the booth by the door had a "no sitting" sign on it, presumably because it was also broken. Space was relatively clean, aside from the maintenance issues. Ambience was non-existent with no music, just a low noise of other customers chatting. Felt more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. Pretty solidly stuck at 3 stars here.

Burger was decent; more sauce and bread than meat but good. Ordered the 1/2 pound of onion rings since the cashier said they made them in house. Think I got cheated on the weight (got 1/4 pound) and they tasted like food distributer onion rings than breaded in house. Quick service!! Plays loud music so if your wife wants to talk, sit inside and say you can’t hear her. 😆

I had been going there for years now. I hadn’t been in months, so I was very shocked to order a burger and see it is TINY now. It was already not very big to begin with. Look how tiny it is in my hand. It is so so small, but of course prices are a bit higher. It is OK to do ONE of those things and still have integrity. EITHER smaller portions OR higher prices. Doing both is bad business. I do not appreciate the mindset around shrinkflation, and so I won’t be returning. I never return to businesses that have adopted this practice. On the bright side, the burger tasted exactly the same, which is yummy!

Food left much to be desired. There was barely any meat on my burger. It looked like they smashed a tinny round piece of ground meat to try to make it fit the bun. The fries were stringy but not delicious and tons of black stuff. I say keep your money and check something else out. Not worth the price.

The food was good and the service was decent. They did forget some things with my burger that I ordered, and I feel like they just sold me a more expensive combo then what I originally wanted, because i added bacon and onion rings on my burger, but the food was good. Maybe just make sure they got your order 100 percent right before paying.
