Wow! I really enjoyed the double cheeseburger combo here. The combo included a double cheeseburger, a big side of fries, and a soft drink. The prices were very reasonable - very good value for the money. The milk shakes are good and reasonably priced as well. There is ample indoor seat and outdoor seating. The place was clean and well kept.

Fresh tasty burger and fries. Not greasy at all! Easy access not far from the freeway. Friendly service and clean establishment. Bathrooms clean as well. Would go again!

Not the best food in the fast food world industry.. their jalapeno ranch is amazing.. I always order extra to take home Philly cheese steaks can be pretty salty sometimes definitely a delicious barbecue bacon burger.. easily customizable when ordering online. You can add cool things to your food when ordering online.. I put avocado and a fried egg on my chicken sandwich 👌 good milkeshakes too

Susie Burgers seriously impressed me. The burger came stacked with mushrooms and jalapeños, and you can customize it however you like. The patty didn’t have that frozen feel—it tasted fresh, like it was actually made right there. Plenty of parking, clean space, and a chill spot to sit down and enjoy your food. Honestly, this isn’t your typical big-name burger chain. It’s better. Way better.

The burger was amazing. Hot, fresh, just the right size. The fry’s are pretty amazing. I never had fries that skinny. So good. The restaurant is like an old garage. Pretty cool. Definitely will come back.

The staff weren't unfriendly, but also didn't seem like they wanted to be there. The fries were a little soggy despite ordering them extra crispy (they were at least hot). Maintenance of the facilities needs to be improved - soda fountain was out of order, 2 stools and one urinal had a garbage bag over them, and the booth by the door had a "no sitting" sign on it, presumably because it was also broken. Space was relatively clean, aside from the maintenance issues. Ambience was non-existent with no music, just a low noise of other customers chatting. Felt more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. Pretty solidly stuck at 3 stars here.

Burger was decent; more sauce and bread than meat but good. Ordered the 1/2 pound of onion rings since the cashier said they made them in house. Think I got cheated on the weight (got 1/4 pound) and they tasted like food distributer onion rings than breaded in house. Quick service!! Plays loud music so if your wife wants to talk, sit inside and say you can’t hear her. 😆

1000x better than Five Guys. Great single cheeseburger w jalapeños for $5.95. I ordered the pickle fries too, which I loved, but I had a little sticker shock bc they cost more than my burger at $6.95. That's $1 more than they cost 6 months ago. They tried to upsell me with extra ranch dip, which would have been totally unnecessary, so watch out for that. That said, I'll definitely be back for another burger--and next time I'll get a beer too.

We tried Suzie Burger for the first time a few days ago. We are very glad we did. My wife had the bacon cheeseburger. I had the double cheeseburger. They offer mushrooms and peppers complimentary and had grilled or fresh onions. The burgers are delicious. I had lemonade. She had a root beer float. They gave her a cup with soft serve ice cream in it. She got to add as much root beer as she wanted. This is a cool place that was once a gas station. Now they have lots of tables in the service bays and outside. It's a great place with excellent food and friendly people.

Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom I don't eat Burgers, my husband does. So I got wings and sweet potato fries. I am such a happy girl rn. It was sooooooo good. I even have leftovers it was a lot of food. Thank you Suzie Burger

Love it! My first Yelp place for 2025, and it was a great pick! I came here for the first time with a colleague for lunch, and I'm so glad I did. You order your food and pay and then they'll call you to pick it up. Cool and friendly vibes from the staff. I ordered the fries and the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms, and let me tell you, my first bite was juicy! The cheesesteak was loaded with plenty of gooey cheese, tender steak, and the mushrooms complimented each bite. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. If you're on the hunt for a great cheesesteak in Sacramento, Suzie Burger won't disappoint.

A nice burger place with plenty of space. I wouldn't hesitate to bring a sports team here. The burgers are tasty. Our 4 yr old was able to eat about half of the kid burger but couldn't stop eating the fries. I had a double bacon cheeseburger. It's good but as greasy as it sounds. I got the onion rings. They were ok but I wasn't heart broken about not finishing them. Overall, the staff were very nice. The different posters on the wall of "Suzie" were entertaining to look at. It is definitely a nice retro burger place that will feed you well.

Suzie Burger is outstanding!! The food was delicious...try the pickle fries! The ambiance was delightful, if you like 80's R&B/Funk you'll be jamming while enjoying the food. Juana, Eddie and Mari made our experience 5 stars. Can't wait to go back!

Yes it's been awhile since I been here especially since I live an hour away but I miss the old Suzie Burger. It's just different to me. My family loved coming here years ago. It's just good now. Used to be great.

I've passed by this spot on P Street so many times, always telling myself I'd give it a try--well, today was finally the day! I ordered the cheeseburger, thinking it would be their standout item, but after trying it, I have a feeling their Philly cheesesteak sandwiches are the real stars of the menu. The burger was decent, but next time, I'm definitely going for the Philly. The place has a solid vibe, and I'm glad I finally stopped in.

The food was great! The burger and pickle fries came out quick and cooked to perfection. The staff were extremely friendly too.

I haven't been to Suzie Burger in a long time and I must say, the food quality has gone down a lot. My husband and I used to love their food too. We checked them out for dinner last night and being on a healthy kick, I ordered their house salad and my husband ordered the Philly Cheesesteak that he used to love. Obviously since this is known for being a burger joint, the salad was mediocre at best (my fault), but my husband said the Philly was nowhere good as it used to be. I tried it and I agreed. I do love the inside that used to be a car shop garage though and all of the spacey Suzie decor. Lots of seating on both sides of the restaurant as well. The guy who took our order was friendly, but the service was very slow. They weren't very busy and there was only 1 party in front of us when we arrived, so I'm not really sure why it took 15-20 minutes for our food to come out. Maybe it's my fault for not ordering a burger, but if the Cheesesteak is any indication, I don't think I'll be back visiting anytime soon unfortunately,

Really liked Suzie Burger, the cheeseburger was amazing, and the fries and onion rings were shared were perfect. Always wanted to try it, and we know we'll come back again. It's an order at the counter and pick it up type of place. Liked the music, have to try the cheesesteak next.

The daily special burger here was so juicy and delicious, I am looking forward to coming back for more :) staff were friendly, there was plenty of seating, and good lighting inside and out. Their menu has a huge selection!

Burger was full of flavor. It's in the small side but was the perfect size for me. They do offer larger burgers. The sweet potatoes fries were excellent with the ranch. Overly it's worth a try. Plenty of seating. Definitely will return.

A hidden gem in plain sight. We've all seen it driving by i80, I've lived in Sacramento all my life and never thought to stop by here for food...until we did. Suzie Burger might be one of my favorite burger joints in Sacramento, there's a reason why it's been there for so long! If you want a good classic cheeseburger with all the fixings you need then Suzie's is the spot. My go to menu item is the Regular Cheeseburger with grilled mushrooms and grilled onions -- if I'm really hungry this changes to the Deluxe Bacon cheeseburger instead ‍ The food always feels like it was just prepared and not sitting around -- I do prefer to eat there as we've DoorDash'd food a few times and it always comes soggy from the heat and being packaged. This may ruffle some feathers but this place rivals or surpasses the beloved In and Out burger. Go check it out!

I would give this place a 3/10. Too pricey for a mediocre burger meal.. not as good as before. Didn't care for the fries, as they were very skinny. They didn't have the self serve ice cream they had before.. IN N OUT is more bang for your buck.. and taste better.

Great hamburgers and service. Love the malts. Heating in winter is spotty. Dress warmly.

Update your website...offer curbside pickup online only to learn that's not a service option no longer...in addition to handling money and etc and packing to go food without washing hands or gloves

Suzie burger is a must if you are needing some good bad late night greasy food. Quick and fairly priced, it's easy to see why it has had the staying power it does. Pretty normal menu items, but good taste regardless. Plenty of seating inside if you are looking to dine in.

Let's see. stale bread. customer service is non-existent. Can't say please or thank you. They'll take your name, but leave your meal waiting for you to claim it. Dirty, grimey counters and waste receptacles. If you're going to stay relatively safe from germs, get extra napkins Methinks not!

Good old fashioned burger! Great shoe string fries! Great ambience in an old gas station.

Just a good solid burger. They also have a few beers on tap. If you're a burger fan, this place will satisfy.

Not just a cute face! We were looking for somewhere to eat on our last night in town. We had driven past Susie's every day on the way to our convention and really wanted to try it so we decided to stop in. So glad we did! Absolutely adorable little shop with drive-in vibes. The service was very quick and efficient and everyone was friendly. The food was super yummy too! It's always good to have a meal that is not pretentious and makes you feel like a kid and they came through! The onion rings and pickle fries were golden and crispy and so so delicious. Not to mention fresh out of the frier! My onion cheesesteak was absolutely delicious. Cheesy, gooey goodness! And my husbands burger was super good too! He added more onions and jalapeño and that made it just perfect. Don't sleep on this cute, little shop!

Got Suzie Burger for the first time! I ordered: -2 double deluxe with grilled mushrooms, raw onions -1 regular fries Quite a bit of food for just me haha. I would have preferred more raw onions. They have lots of seating inside. If they had bigger TVs and played big sports games, it would definitely be a fun environment to be a part of. There is some seating outside too. Not the best area. Relatively easy parking. The burgers were a bit on the pricier side. Still would prefer In N Out for value.

MUST GET THE JALAPEÑO RANCH! It goes great with the onion rings & chicken strips & adding on the burger! Service at the front is amazing. Everyone is so helpful and patient. My mom took awhile to order and the guy in front never showed it was annoying. It was an amazing day in Sac and all garage doors were open and fresh air felt great!

This review is for a Togo order: fries looked like they were from the day before and did not taste good at all. Burgers were okay, they were cold so maybe they are better when they are hot. I ordered a shake and it was ready 20 minutes after they had given me the burger, so I'd suggest to order the shakes 30 minutes before you order the burgers/fries.

Ordered online to pick up. Wait time was 30 minutes and they used it. Waited for my order as usual. Everything else was off. The child's hot dog was small and cold served with a stale bun that was falling apart. Cheesesteak was good but not hot. A bit of a language barrier was happening. New management?

I got the double bacon cheeseburger by itself and then I added jalapeños and got mushrooms on the side and that was the best 10 bucks I've spent in a while. And Eddie was the manager and he was super cool and helped me with my selection. I'll definitely be back.

My favorite place for an impossible burger , love the pickle fries with a good cold tap beer . Service is impecable with a retro ambiance of a good old dinner.

The cheesesteak was amazing, one of my now favorites in the area! My boyfriend got the cheeseburger which was also very good, albeit a little messy to eat. The shoestring type of French fries were great as well. Decent price and we both left with full tummies & smiles on our face

Best burger in the world fries are delicious i'm definitely coming here for my break. Every single day cause I work at the co-op service was amazing. The person at the front desk was the nicest person in the world. I recommend going here but seating could've been better. But everything else is a five star so I'm giving a five star.

Love the old-fashioned diner feel of Suzie Burger. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, soft serve ice cream and shakes, and great food. Service has always been friendly and fast. Plus it's an easy stop off the highway and easily accessible from midtown.

My friend Thomas/Sherpa crew for my Ironman Sacramento weekend. He recommended we stop by Suzie Burger for lunch during race weekend in Sac. He from the area. I like not doubt always trust locals food recommendations. First impression love the whole kind of retro drive through diner concept from the outside. Inside looks like use to be auto shop/gas station. The whole inside dining area wide open space with rolling garage doors on one side. We sat outside in the patio area. I ended up ordering regular cheeseburger combo #2. It reminded me LOT of going to InNout. The burger similar concept thin patty, special sauce, fresh toppings, perfect bun, and all made fresh to order. The only difference is the fries are thin cut fries. Thankfully they cook those to order and nice HOT. Overall loves both! It was refreshing burger and fries. Five stars on the service. Friendly, all smiles, and positive vibes.

My first time visiting this pace around 12noon-3pm April 29th. Upon arrival the restaurant was clean all amenities were clean and neatly organized. The customer service was through the roof and the food of course on point. 10 out of 10 for me and highly recommend others to come enjoy themselves.

Outstanding. I have a double cheesesteak Came here on a Friday night expecting busy. Nope. But peeps are missing out. It is the best cheesesteak in NOCAL. The chopped beef, white American cheese is what is Philly. Awesome place!

How are people rating this place five stars? The burgers are flavorless and tiny. About the size of McDonald's. Sad sad shell of what it used to be.

We've now gotten take out and eaten inside Suzie Burger and it is a solid spot for burgers, fries, chicken tenders and even cheesesteaks! This spot has their own parking, which is hard to come by downtown and while it's limited, we've never had trouble getting a spot. The inside is actually much roomier than you'd think from the outside and they have plenty of tables to use to dine in. They also have a superhero mascot that I assume is Suzie and it's pretty cute. On our last visit I ordered a cheeseburger combo with onion rings and it was so good! They were generous with the amount of Onion rings and they were nice and crispy on the outside and cooked well on the inside. I also snagged a couple of my husband's fries and they're thin and crispy. All of this is great with the jalapeño ranch which packs a ton of flavor. The cheeseburger had great flavor and the combo is very filling. We have also tried the chicken tenders which are seasoned really well and come out fresh, crispy and hot. This is an awesome spot if you're looking for something quick or if you're craving a burger and sides.

Update. I meant "don't be greedy". Anyway, they have a pretty cool character theme in the restaurant. Suzie space girl. They kind of set up a feeling like they are going to have more of her, a comic, cartoon, a action radio show? No, It just ends there. Kind of bums me out. Burgers are tasty! Look at ny pics. This is my new favorite burger joint. I had the Philly cheesesteak with mushrooms, a mint chip shake, and onion rings. My wife had a cheeseburger and everything was awesome. The people there are very helpful and patient as there are so many things to decide. You will have a hard time finding a cuter place in Sacramento.

The place is so dirty I am surprised I didn't get sick. Plus the patties are super thin. A double is like a single. It's the Starbucks way of making more profit. ( that was a business thesis). Wish they had shakes. But it taste good. Quick burg boom done

Pros- really nice looking restaurant, a throw back look. I was waiting for the servers to come out on roller skates. Interior and exterior seating. The dining room is rather large. Looks very clean and well maintained. Service was friendly and quick Cons- the burgers were at best mediocre. Not great not bad. The fries were cut really small which probably appeals to kids. Would I go back??? Tough call, in a pinch I would if I was hungry and didn't want to experiment else I would go back. I would not go out of my to go there

My son loved your food and always brought his friends over the last 2+ years. Tonight he said he doesn't want to eat here again. Staff is always different, and when you order things a certain way, then get what the staff knows how to type in. I find it much more common these days when customers know more about a business than the employees. The food we got was not what my son ordered, so i reordered and ate the mistake food. When his arrived it was a shell of what it used to be, less ingredients and different. It was a nice alternative, sorry, but its off our list as options.

This place has gone way down. They no longer sell chocolate ice cream, strike one. The bread on the chicken and cheese sandwich was so stale and dry, I could barely eat it, strike 2. They claim their fries are hand-cut and never frozen, I call bullshit - they were thin and terrible, strike 3. The only reason I gave two stars was for the young lady who took my order, she was kind, informative and very good at her job. I didn't get her name, I was the 3/20/25 at approximately 4:45p.

Got the cheeseburger, fries and drink. I thought the burger was very tasty, liked the flavor. Fries were just average. Overall, a step up from regular fast food.

Menu is diverse and delicious. Restaurant is clean and super trendy. Staff greeted me watmly and was very helpful. But most importantly the food was fire! Recommend highly!

Good burger. Good pickle fries. Good service. Roomy, classic "old school" joint. I just got the basic single patty deluxe cheeseburger. I did add jalapeños though. Worth a stop, if in the area. "I'll be back".

Please change your fries the fries even befor were better then those.phillies are bomb jus wished u farried provolone instead of white american cheese that has no business on that sandwhich
