The Best Indian Restaurants in Nashville | Eater Nashville

"Head to Nashville’s Farmers’ Market and seek out Swagruha for some of the city’s best eat-on-the-go Indian fare. Owned by South Indian natives Vijay and Siva Pavuluri, count on this small, cafeteria-style stall for a quick and satisfying mix of aromatic and subtly complex dishes like spicy goat curry, chili chicken, vegetable korma, dosa, and mango lassi." - Jackie Gutierrez-Jones

Stopped by for a quick lunch while shopping around at the Farmers' Market. Ordered the Goat Curry, Vegetable Rice, Lentils, and Vegetable Samosa. Service wasn't too friendly, but was efficient. Since everything is already made, they packed it up in a Styrofoam container and I was on my way to find a table. Food was decent and good for the Farmers' Market, but I've had better options. It was a little lacking on the flavor and spice for me, but not necessarily bad. If you're in the mood for Indian Food at the Farmers' Market, then it's a good option.

Google
The food was great. The Mattar Paneer and the Garlic Chicken was better than I ever would have anticipated. The yellow rice and veggies went with it well. Everyone in my group tried and enjoyed it. I'll want more of this.

Let me start by saying me and my wife love indian food. With that in mind, we wouldn't consider this indian food. This taste like indian food in the same manor as you would consider taco bell Mexican food. Yeah the ingredients are similar, and it's looks close, but when it comes to taste it leaves a lot to be desired. This is not to say the food tasted bad, just very little flavor and no where near authentic. My daughter cant handle any spice at all and had no problems with this food. If you cant handle spices or too much flavor, but still want to try some indian food, this will work. Want something more authentic, you will have to go somewhere else.

Google
This is my favorite spot in the Farmers Market. Hidden gem packed with so much flavor!

Google
Just moved to Nashville and really hoped Swagruha was going to be good. Actually ... I'd have settled for ok. Located inside the Farmer's Market, it was a preprepared hot counter with a dozen options. I had the Chicken Rice, Tikka Masala and Chicken 65. The portion was large .... But .... Far too much salt, the flavors were flat and the meat stewed. The only saving grace was the Samosa. At $2 it was reasonable.

Yelp
I've been coming here since i was 1, i could eat their food all day! Very nice staff! I could never complain about the food! 10/10 would recomend!!!!!

Yelp
At our second visit to the Nashville Farmers' Market, my daughter wanted to try Swagruha. I wasn't sure about it since the food didn't look like what she typically orders, but we gave it a try. She ordered the Chicken Biryani with Chicken Curry and Naan. I also chose the Chicken Biryani and Naan but had it Goat Curry. I didn't take pictures of the food because it just didn't look very appetizing. Unfortunately the curry was watery and bland. The Biryani tasted of just salt and spicy heat. The chicken was on the dry side and the goat was tough. The naan was disappointingly flavorless and chewy. The people are very nice but I don't think we'll be dining at Swagruha again.

Karl S.

Yelp
As everyone else says, great service, horrible food. Curry is watery, bread is stale. But hey the rice is somewhat decent.

Yelp
This spot is high on my list of places to eat inside the Nashville Farmers Market. I went with the samosas, veggie rice, chili chicken and the chicken tikka masala. This food here is amazing and the portions are generous. The veggie rice isn't spicy at all, which I'm thankful for because the rest of the meal had some heat! The chili chicken was sooo good, I could have eaten a bucket of this stuff. Deep flavors, tender chicken and good heat without the burn. The tikka masala was a classic choice and it did have a tiny bit of heat even though the meat had zero chilis next to it on the menu. The samosas here are huge and totally worth the money. You get two for about $5 and these could easily be a meal... well maybe a shareable appetizer? These are a great vegetarian option. Looking for some good Indian food for lunch? Don't sleep on Swagruha!

Yelp
I've been dining here for years and have to give a well deserved shout out to Swagruha. The quality of the food and taste is always on point but what sets them apart is the owner who really cares about giving good service along with great food. Don't be fooled by this tiny little stall. Some of the Indian restaurants in their brick n mortar buildings have nothing on her food quality! For $9.49 you get rice, 2 curries and naan. It used to be 2 meat curries before the pandemic but with rising food prices she kept the price low and offers 1 meat and 1 veggie curry. Her pricing is probably the best of all the food stalls in the Farmer's market as well as authentic and delicious!

Yelp
I visited the Nashville Farmers Market on a trip with some friends and family, I really enjoyed myself, we all went to the food court and it was a little overwhelming so many different options, a huge variety something for everyone in the group. This curry stand caught my attention the smell drew me in. The food was not cooked to order, which is normal for many 'food court' style places. I asked the server what she recommended, and she said Chicken Tikka Masala was definitely the best seller, and I went in wanting Butter Chicken. So I ordered the two curry meal. My cousin ordered the Dosa meal. Curry Meal: The curry flavors on both of my curry meals were beautifully spiced and more authentic than many restaurants I have been to. I purposefully picked milder curries, but sometimes when you sacrifice "hot spicy" it sacrifices the spices as well but not in this case, they were delicious. The only criticism I have is that due to the fact that they are all pre-cooked and then set in warming dishes, the chicken was overcooked, by the end of the meal, I just wanted the curry sauce and not the chicken. The Tikka Masala had green peppers in it and those had been overcooked as well but I didn't mind as much since they were saturated in the curry sauce. Also, the naan is good as it looks in the photo, they were so soft and chewy and went perfectly with the meal. The rice that came with the dish did have that texture of rice when it sits out on those warming dishes a little too long. Dosa Meal: The Dosa was delicious, crispy on the outside and so so flavorful. The dosa was quite spicy, not so much that I couldn't handle it but I was reaching for my water a couple of times while eating this. The only criticism I have on the Dosa was that it was dripping with oil, which again is most likely due to the fact that they are cooked previously and left to sit a little. Despite the oil it was still one of the best Dosas I've had. BONUS:(no picture) I took a bite out of my friend's goat curry, I was intrigued by the goat curry initially but I had my reservations, I believe the menu had it set to 3 spice peppers, and I was worried it'd be too spicy or it'd be gamey, I was definitely wrong. The goat was so tender, not gamey at all and the spice wasn't that bad! While I can't eat a lot of normal peppers like jalepeños and habañeros, I think that I can handle Indian spice better than other peppers, because I've eaten so much of it, but I didn't think it was that spicy. If I were to go again, I would definitely get the Goat Curry and Dosa. In the end, the way that the food is prepared and set out is noticeable but still recommend and would definitely go again! Give it a try and don't let the warming dishes keep you away!

Yelp
I come here usually twice a week if not more. The spice level is more authentic - I have been told by many Indian co-workers. I always get the same thing. Here's the trick: You first tell them whether you want it for here or to go. You have the option for chicken rice or vegetable rice. The chicken rice is more spicy. You then have the option of one meat and one non meat. If you want two meats that costs a little extra. You can only order a samosa if you purchase a meal. You can't buy a samosa on its own. In the meats, there are 4 main options. As a general rule, the darker coloured meats are going to be more spicy. So butter chicken and chicken tikka masala are going to be mildly flavoured as compared with the chicken curry and the goat curry. They also have a chicken Chili option. I've tried everything and it's so good! Same rule applies to the vegetable options vegetable curry and chickpeas are going to be spicier than the dal and paneer With all meals you get naan. Top tip: if you come ok Friday's you get treated to delicious onions that are fried. So so good.

Yelp
Great "takeout" Indian food! Never had a bad experience here. The only thing I wish they offered was drinking water and not bottled for purchase.
google avatar

Anwesh D.

Yelp
The chicken rice and chili chicken were amazing!! The rice had great depth in flavor and tasted great even by itself. The butter chicken was very average however. It has a lot of cream which diluted the spices. The dosa was not super crispy but the flavors were spot on!

Yelp
Good but not amazing Indian food. Nashville - you don't know how good North Texas has it when it comes to Indian food. We had the curry plate with chicken masala and goat curry. The goat was supposed to be "very spicy" but was very mild in our opinion. Not even a tick on the "are you kidding me biryani heat" scale. But as a plus for authenticity the goat curry came complete with bones. The veg rice was good and saffron-flavored. The naan was perfectly grilled. All in all a serviceable stop if you're dying for Indian, though it will make you long for the really good stuff back home.

Yelp
This was my last meal in Nashville. We hung out at the Farmers' Market for a couple hours prior to traveling to the airport. I was happy there were so many diverse food options at the Market and ultimately decided upon Swagruha because I hadn't tried any Indian cuisine while in Nashville. I ordered one of the Curry Meal lunches, which included one rice, one veggie, one meat curry, and naan bread for $8.49. You could add another meat choice for another dollar. I got the veggie rice, dal (lentils), and chicken Tikka Masala. I would have loved just a little more chicken; it was very flavorful. I am not used to so many other components in a dal dish such as large chunks of onion, not to say there is anything wrong with that, but the lentils were either very sparse or mushed. The rice tasted good but texturally there were many chunks dried together, and the naan bread was a bit dry as well. Friendly service though! I would try this food again, but maybe they could find a better way to keep their rice and naan from drying out.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place! We come here at least twice a month and it is always delicious. Everything on the menu is flavorful and filling! I'm not kidding... literally everything on their menu is delicious. I also highly recommend the mango smoothie! So tasty!! I really feel like they have the best food at the farmers market and you should definitely stop by to try their food. You won't regret it.

Yelp
All of the food I had on my plate all tasted so unique. Also, the husband and wife who own this business are so nice. Support local!

Duke N.

Yelp
The service is good. Food is not good. The goat was cooked well but was not spiced well, and it is bone-in meat. Aloo paneer was flavorless. Naan is also not good. It's cheap and convenient, but those trade-offs come at the cost of food quality. This wasn't just today either, it's tasted like this for a long time.

Joey G.

Yelp
Unfortunately, the curries they offer (butter chicken, tikka masala, etc) are nothing like how the dish is intended. The attempts are not remotely close to what they are supposed to be. Avoid this place. There are much better options at the farmers market to choose from.

Garrett P.

Yelp
Best value Indian food in the city. The curry's are a little runny, but really good. Chicken rice is great, and the pita is okay. I've never been disappointed here, but it's cafeteria style so I was between 4-5 stars because you never know how long the dishes have been sitting. I'd give it a 4.5 star all around. Great & super friendly employees.
google avatar

Alexis B.

Yelp
I work very close to the Farmers Market, and I'm slowly working my way to every restaurant inside. Today, I tried Swagruha for the first time. And the service was great. While lots of other places in the market had long lines (Friday lunch rush), Swagruha wasn't packed. The food was good, but not great. I tried the vegetable korma and chana masala, and it wasn't one of the better versions of either dish that I've had (including in Nashville). But it's convenient, great service, and a great value. My entire plate of food was $9 with tax! Is it memorably good Indian food? Not so much. Is it a decent lunch if you're in the area? Sure!
google avatar

Jody W.

Yelp
I wanted to leave 5-stars, but they were badly understaffed and had run out of most of their entrees. The food is SPICY. Particularly the spinach-cream cheese side (sorry, I'm still new to Indian cuisine). And I mean SPICY. I was able to struggle through it, but barely. I've eaten at about 10 Indian restaurants so far, and this was, by-far, the spiciest. For some this is a good thing. I know most all places tone it down to keep anyone from being too put off. I'm not saying they don't do that here, but certainly to lesser degree. I was sweating while I ate if that tells you anything. I had the goat curry, and it was excellent. I believe I also had the chana, same thing. I'll go again.
google avatar

S. S.

Yelp
Unique flavor, nice service. Really enjoyed the chana masala in particular. Ample portions of rice provided.
google avatar

R.T. D.

Yelp
My one big Indulgence at the farmers market is always a samosa from this restaurant . Apparently they've gotten so popular that now the restaurant demands you buy a meal in order to obtain a samosa . The service here is never friendly but this definitely puts it out of the running in my estimation. So for those of you who don't mind stuffing your face in order to have a treat ...enjoy! I won't be coming back
google avatar

Daniel P.

Yelp
This is my go-to anytime I'm near the farmers market. The food is delicious and you can't beat the price. I usually get the chili chicken and one of the vegetable curries and the chicken rice. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you want to stay on the cheaper end, get the vegetable curry plate. If you are feeling splurgy, add a mango smoothie.
google avatar

Samantha S.

Yelp
I'm glad I did not read these reviews before I tried Swagruha. I'm so guilty of reading bad reviews and then never going to a restaurant. This tiny little food spot is located in the Nashville Farmers Market. Is it the best restaurant located there? Not quite. But where else can you go get chicken tikka masala x2 (you can pick 2 different entrees but I always double up), rice, naan bread and a drink for $7 total? Swagruha is a great option for a super fast and cheap Indian chow down.
google avatar

David F.

Yelp
The Nashville Farmer's Market is a great place to eat. More often than not, we end up at the hole in the wall that is Swagruha. I am a huge fan of their samosas and seem to buy them every time I visit. My wife is a little more adventurous and has something different every time. This is not a sit-down place. They have a bain marie keeping their goodies hot. The food is good and it is cheap. There seems to be a frequent change over of counter staff and service goes from offhand to very good almost on a weekly basis. There is usually no problem finding somewhere to sit, and it's a great venue to watch life's passing parade. And, it is very close to Jeni's ice-creamery...and that's a huge bonus. Summary-Good food, great prices, patchy service, top value.

Yelp
I gave it a second chance. I'm going to say I now have no reason to contemplate returning again. I'll stress the food is not terrible, but it's neither plentiful nor a great bargain to make up for it. While in line, a large foreign object (Dr pepper can?) fell into one of their heating buckets, splashing what I think was chicken-based juices across every container... they pulled it out, and resumed... ok, I'll buy an unwashed Dr Pepper can isn't going to kill me regardless of what the internet freaks say, and even as a vegetarian a little chicken juice in everything by accident isn't going to drive me to insanity, but cross-container contamination does ride my goats. They ran out of veggie rice before I got my order in... I asked the woman if she had any more veggie rice and she said yes, I said I would have some veggie rice and... and she turned and walked away while I was speaking so I just kept talking "I guess the rest of my order will get heard when you get back" ok random sassy woman, not cool. Rest of my order got plopped onto the plate, I paid and left and realized the plate was actually pretty light... ok, whatever... the food was not-quite flavorless, again... oh, it had one spice, and that was burn. The veggie korma was ok but meh...sad, felt like it was undercooked and overcooked at the same time. I got done eating a $7 plate of food there and thought "what the hell, I'm still hungry" - I'll point out I was not horribly hungry when I went there. A bit later (friends had been waiting on food trucks and finally gave up to get food inside) I'm sitting with friends, one of which went there also, specifically stated she could not handle hot, was assured whatever she was getting was mildly spiced... rrr no. Plate of hot by US standards food abandoned. I started thinking, most of the Indian places I go are buffets, they've got their things, you get a plate of food, maybe you can eat two plates, it's $8-10. You walk away, it's food coma time. I know this isn't a buffet, but the food tasted like it was from the Shoney's of Indian cuisine, there wasn't a whole lot of it, there was splatter and bleh... I'm just not impressed. I've been to enough Indian joints to figure out an average, and this isn't quite to average levels based on the other places available.
google avatar

Dave S.

Yelp
Go here occasionally for a work lunch with my office nearby. The helpings are generous and the staff is nice enough, but the food is about what you'd expect for cafeteria-style service. The flavors don't always align with the versions of the same dishes (ex. Butter chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer) that I've had numerous times at other Indian restaurants. Perhaps this is a more authentic version of the dishes that I've never had elsewhere (though did live in London for a couple years), but it always throws me when I'm in the mood for Indian cuisine and choose to visit them.
google avatar

Kimberly T.

Yelp
Firstly, order the to go box I think you get more food that way. Secondly, if you are sensitive to spice then order Butter chicken with the vegetable rice. Everything does have heat to some extent but the butter chicken is milder. The Dosa is authentic and takes about twenty mins to be ready. Everything else is on the buffet. Two ppl from India told me that this place is authentic south Indian food, so if you don't like it then maybe you prefer Americanized Indian food with less flavor. I personally like it, and for the amount of food the price is decent.
google avatar

Brittney A.

Yelp
This is REAL India food. Not like the Americanized slop they feed people at Best of India. My husband was born and raised in Hyderabad, India. So, he knows what true Indian food tastes like and so do I. Any bad reviews regarding them not being good or not authentic are individual not familiar with REAL Indian food. Sorry to say, but Chicken Tikka Marsala is not a real thing in India. It is a Balti curry made in London for individuals who can not handle spice. I do not mean to sound arrogant, but I hate when people who have no idea what ethnic food actually tastes like and rate it low because it is not to their Americanized expectations.

Boyo 7.

Yelp
Love this place. Very limited hours. My whole family loves to get food to go from here every weekend. Everything is very consistent and very tasty. The people who work here are very friendly. The butter chicken, tikka masala chicken and chili chicken are all great and very flavorful. I just how they return after the pandemic.
google avatar

Spica V.

Yelp
The best dosa I had in USA, better than even most places in India! We drove 10 hrs to Nashville but it was completely worth just for food here. The farmers market has great places but this is a must have!
google avatar

Kim Y.

Yelp
Swagruha - its like an American buffet (but not American or a buffet). I say that because you get a TON of food for less than $7 and quickly. So, price wise it is most definitely a value, unfortunately the food was not that great. The bread had good buttery flavor but was too chewy. The chicken literally still had gristle and two HUGE pieces of bone in it (keep in mind this was a typical chopped chicken in a sauce dish, not tandoori or anything). Here is the kicker. I am a girl who slathers a lot of my food in Sriracha, puts a a few dots of Daves Insanity in her Chili, etc. I love hot food. But all you could taste here was 'OMG - HOT' pretty much deflating any other subtle flavors or nuances Indian food usually has. It was like the Princes of Indian cuisine. SAD FACE! I kept biting into big chunks of hot pepper in my rice. Yuck. The chana masala was alright, but the sauce was very thin and watery not really letting the 'yum' coat the beans. Let down. Eat at any other place in the farmers market! You could also run around the international market and make your own ;)
google avatar

Piyush S.

Yelp
Ok Guys. I went to this place as it had rave reviews on yelp. I was so so dissapointed. I ordered butter chicken and they give you 2 sides along with Rice and Roti. The butter chicken was the worst I have tasted in my life. I would say it was not even butter chicken. It was chicken butchered by mike tyson and cooked by Hulk Hogan. The sides dishes - Paneer Mutter was equally bad. The only saving grace was the dal which I must say was really good. I am definitely not going to this place again. After the meal I went to the next door bbq and ate some decent ribs. Skip it and got to the bbq, creole, jamaican restaurants in farmers market instead of swagruha. But if you are one of those who has not tasted good indian food, you may like it. god bless you guys.
google avatar

Keith K.

Yelp
This is low key my favorite Indian spot in the city. The staff is always super friendly, and though its cafeteria style, the food looks and taste like someone's mother cooked it with love for hours. You get a lot for a low price and the flavors are always on point. The Chicken Curry is my favorite but make sure you have time to eat it, it's a beast with the heat. They have the best goat around also.
google avatar

Jamie A.

Yelp
Was it the best Indian food I have had? No. Was it well seasoned, tasty and an insanely good deal? Absolutely! Mattar Paneer was tasty, but the peas were a little firm. Butter chicken was decent. My favorite was the chili chicken. Nice and spicy. The flavor came through the heat. My boyfriend made fun of me as my face was sweating... So yeah...2 curries, 1 meat, rice, naan, raita and a can of soda for a little over $7. Winner!
google avatar

joyce g.

Yelp
One word. Dosa. Best in the city. Get the masala dosa. Seriously, it'll rock your world.
google avatar

Samantha B.

Yelp
I was getting tired of all the fried and southern foods of Nashville and I was pleased to see that the Nashville Farm Market offered Indian food! For $7.95 I got to choose two curries (one meat and one vegetable), rice and a big piece of Naan. What a deal! The flavor was on point and the portion was very satisfying. Friendly service too.. I didn't feel rushed or pressured into something, which is important when trying a new place in the fast food genre.

Praveen K.

Yelp
-This is a shop in a food court. -Prices are nominal -Ordered masala Dosa and a veg meal which comes with 2 curries, rice and Naan -Quantity was sufficient -Dosa was good and authentic with good tasting chutney and sambar. -The curries were mild spicy at best for an Indian Palette
google avatar

Claudia R.

Yelp
Very yummy. And you get more than what you pay for. The portions are great here. Got the veggie plate (vegetarian friendly y'all!) and it more than filled me up. I saved the rest for dinner! I love the Farmer's Market location. Quick, easy, and priced well. I will definitely return for another delicious meal!
google avatar

Wayne H.

Yelp
Okay...so it isn't the best tasting Indian food in the world. That said however it is amazingly cheap, about $7 for rice, two meat or veggie dishes, naan bread and a drink. The plate of vegetable rice is nothing special, but a nice exotic change of pace for someone raised on white rice. The chicken dishes, Tikka Masala and butter chicken are a bit on the watery side, but the Mattar paneer and the lentils dishes are nice, thick with veggies and spicy. As people have complained, the naan is generally quite buttery, but works well as a soak for the chicken dishes. Some homemade Lassi usually rounds out a meal here for me. Evidently I like to torture my taste buds, but I love the spiciness here, which ranges somewhere between restaurant "extra hot" and "native Thai". The family that runs this restaurant are friendly and helpful and open to exceptions and concerns. In sum this is a nice place to go when I'm in need of a quick Indian food fix or low on money (or both). This is strong, spicy comfort food for me, and I appreciate its presence at the Farmer's Market.

Julie S.

Yelp
More like fast food Indian food. Got the butter chicken and it was dry with a very oily sauce. Goat curry was better. Wouldn't consider it authentic.
google avatar

Janet S.

Yelp
Third choice as Bella was a 25 min wait and noolys had sold out of shrimp and grits. Veggie Korma and matter paneer with rice for $7.00. Not like any Korma I know but OK. Matter paneer quite tasty. Rice blah, donut dessert, sticky gooey and tasty. This is my 4th time here and it never gets any better, come on guys make an effort.
google avatar

Jamie G.

Yelp
Samosas (veg & chicken), butter chicken, chicken curry, onion dosa, rice, naan, and all accompanying sauces, etc were so delicious. Very spicy, just how I like it. Service was decent, if a bit slow, but they had to cook fresh dosa for us. We will definitely come back again.

Cali 2 F.

Yelp
No no no and not again. This is the third time I had a bad visit . I am never gonna visit again to this place. Owner is very arrogant and responds in a rude way. I thought at at least they ll change and give respect to their customers. Food was just okay and nothing special about it. It's a regular Indian food. I will never go and will never refer my friends to this place. Food not being great, atleast I expect minimum respect which they lack all the time. I wanted give 0 but I don't have an option to deselect at all. Highly disappointed third time in a row.

Yelp
First of all the "Farmers Market" looks nice on the outside but it is filthy on the inside. The bathroom were absolutely disgusting with wet floors. Only a quarter of the restaurant were well kept and presentable, but the other ones were very filthy and sloppy. The roof was very dusty and the floors and furnishing were sticky. Since all the shops share the same space they undoubtedly have pest issues. The property manger really needs to clean up its act. We tried Indian cuisine, which we have had similar dishes at many locations across the country. Here the chicken was extremely dry, the sauce was thin and watery and there was way way way too much spice. As if to cover the fact that they can not season meat and it is of cheaper quality. They did not serve white rice which was extremely disappointing. The yellow rice was ok but also dry as if sitting out for a long time. The naan was a joke, don't know what that bread was but it was definitely not naan. There is no reason to over spice the food, because that limits the customer base and is just inconsiderate. There were no other sides with the dish either . I definitely would not recommend this place we through the food out.

Yelp
Fantastic Indian food in Nashville! The butter chicken and matar paneer are hands down my favorite. The chicken curry, goat curry and dal are also great choices. Great food at exceptional prices! Get it to go because they are generous with the servings!
google avatar

Jamie P.

Yelp
This place may be small and nondescript but, in my opinion, it's the best Indian food in Nashville. My favorites are tikka masala, vegetable korma, and chili chicken.

Yelp
So, I ordered, at the urging of my sidekick, the Masala Dosa. As other reviewers have said, it is about a 10-15 minute wait. This was my first taste of Dosa. The taste and texture were perfect. The slight crunch on the dosa with the delicious filling satisfied and comafied. The paneer matar was passable. However, do not look past the Masala Dosa. You cannot miss the Masala Dosa. Finally, a nod to the nicely done Gulab Jamun for dessert. A nice plus is getting to wander the Nasvhille Farmer's Market before and after enjoying your Dosa.

Yelp
No Not once again to Swagruha. I never expected this type of hospitality from a well educated Indian Women who runs the business..Owner did not give respect to the customers visiting.I thought it's only me,but by reading the reviews i got to know that she is behaving the same with others as well. Food is normal.I have been to many Indian restaurants in Nashville, everyone respects the customers but this women looks swaggering.I was in queue but she discarded me for 3 times when i finally asked about the item i am looking to order, then she took the order as if she is giving me free of cost. I never expect this behavior from a good business person. I cannot rate this as it doesn't deserve any rating. The only rating it can have is 0. I have dissappointed. Never again to the restaurant

Yelp
Great Indian food for a great price! $8 for rice, lentils, and chick peas! The service is a bit rushed and not personable but the staff isn't rude or anything so it's fine!

Yelp
I've been coming here twice a week for 4 years. It's my favorite Indian place and it's $8. A nice Indian family run it and can't say enough good things about it.
