Swagyu Burger Newport Beach

This Japanese burger place was small in a strip mall. The cheese burger I tried was very good. The burger bun was soft and light. The meat was not too much. The taste was really good.

The burgers here are overpriced garbage burgers. They play it off of the wagyu name but its terrible. Burnt meat, soggy pickles, $1.00 each for onion and lettuce. The buns aren't even good, they fell apart. If the food was half the price I still wouldn't return. Too many other good local options.

I came here a couple days ago with my daughter because her and her been raving about it recently. So she took me out for lunch and we got such a nice meal together. The music inside was enjoyable and the our food was delicious and came so fast. I would like to say the girl Hedi was so helpful and was so kind. Thank you swagyu burger!!

Stinks. It looked good. But, do you close at 8PM or 7:47PM? While ordering in the tablet after being told by the kid working to order that way. Denied our order. Coming from LB, kind of stunk and ruined the vibe for sure. I’d tell your burger and fry cookers to just stay working till 8PM like it says you stay open till. Alongside, like seriously how much more difficult would it be for 2 burgers and fries…

Just ordered from Swagyu burger and I was amazed on how good it was considering I ordered it from Postmates. Seen this place on instagram and I’m so stoked Costa Mesa kitchen exist (formerly grants for guns). The burger was so juicy and bread was soft. Ordered onion rings wish it came with ranch but they give you bbq sauce with the order.

Ordered pick up. The staff was nice, but they made my milkshake before even finishing my food order. I got there, they gave me a milky-melted milkshake and then I still had to wait on my food for an additional 5 mins (I showed up late already lol). They included no sauces I added to the order, nor napkins in the bag. Burger was good though!

I just showed up at 7:45pm and walked in at the same time as someone else and they allowed that customer to order but wouldn’t allow me to order after I waited for them (it was only 7:48 by this point) and they turned me away. I was under the impression that they close at 8pm per google but I’m more confused as to why that customer was served but I was not. Please update your hours online if you are not open until 8pm

It’s small shop but the manager or a clock really nice. The burger was OK. Little greasy. overall it’s a good hamburger restaurant
