Swallow Cafe Rockdale

Absolutely beautiful cafe with amazing vegan options for the most meat loving people to the most vegan people. Literally everything on their menu is next level delicious, the atmosphere of the cafe is a vibe and the owners are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met. Would recommend everyone to come and support them.

what a great find! a plant-based vegan cafe with lots of gluten free options. loved having so many options to choose from on the menu & the burgers and milkshakes were amazing. staff are friendly and offered great service. will definitely be back again!!

I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. It was a really nice experience, great service, very friendly and helpful staff, delicious food. It was very difficult to choose something to eat as all options looked very nice. We had the bacon and egg roll, the burger, açaí smoothie and pink dragon smoothie, everything was delicious. Coffee was good too. I will definitely come back.

Food is really nice and well presented. Located right next to the train station!; Offers vegan options and many take-away items like coffee powder and chocolate bars, sauces ice-creams. Prices are on slightly higher side but the portion size does justice to it.

Swallow Coffee Traders is absolutely worth the visit. Simply the best vegan bacon and egg roll in Sydney (and we think we have tried them all) - the bread was fresh, fried egg was so realistic, especially the yolky part... I had to stop and remind myself it wasn't the real thing! The chicken souvlaki wrap (not pictured) was also amazing - hard to not inhale it all in a minute. The Ice Chocolate drink was dam good... ice cream, whipped cream - the real deal! And Green Goodness fruit juice was just what I needed on a warm spring day. Thanks SCT for making our visit so enjoyable. We will be back!

Being a Rockdale resident, I think this café is one of the best in the area; the food was fresh and delicious. I’ve tried the Bacon & Egg Roll and the Hotcakes. I was so impressed with the Bacon & Egg Roll; it had all the yums! The hotcakes were ok; the fresh fruit was excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful, thank you for your service!

Amazing food, what a treat to find such delicious vegan options out this way. The portions and prices were great. To top it all off the owners were simply delightful.

A taste of the Inner West in my hometown, go Rockdale! Coffee is on par with the best that I have sampled in my years as a Sydney-sider. The service is great, staff are really friendly and the vibe is very chilled. This kind of business is just what we need in our area to promote urbanisation. Support the guys at Swallow coffee traders! Try the bircher bowl, açai bowl with peanut butter, avocado zaatar with eggs and the swallow breakfast, they delicious and some of my favourites.

This place is da BOMB! Not only do they serve nice coffee, the staff are so passionate about their beans and coffee they spend time to explain where the beans are from and what you should expect in taste. Of course the normal human palette has no way of sensing walnut/butterscotch or oak or cherries ... but man it makes you feel good to see your macchiato being served on a wooden board with a shot of soda water to wash off the taste and stains. Hard to find as it's nestled in a walkway to the station - which also means you need to park around 5 mins to the shop. But is it worth it?! Hell yeah.

Cozy little cafe. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Coffee is delicious, food is delicious. I get a pretty basic tall drip, but can definitely recognize the nuances they describe in the flavor profile of the beans. Food wise, I have tried the Vegan Panini which was healthy and flavorful. Stop by here on the way to the train station pretty much daily while I'm visiting Sydney. Highly recommended. They also have local organic dairy and eggs for sale. I've purchased the firecracker cheese which is kinda like a pepper jack base with a harder Parmesan/white cheddar type cheese, nice with some Shiraz on a cheese board.

Great tasting coffee every time, I grab one occasionally on the way to work in the mornings. Friendly and fast service every visit.

Small but cute, this place is worth a visit if you're in the area or are lucky enough to catch the train from Kogarah
