Swallow Coffeehouse

Came here with family for some breakfast. This is an adorable coffee shop. The decor is beautiful and it is so cozy. I got a cheesecake iced latte and the french toast meal. The bread used in the french toast was soft and delicious. They even have a small play area for kids in the back. Definitely a place to stop of you're going through.

I can't believe we only live 24 minutes away from this gem! Went in for some coffee and wasn't expecting a whole breakfast menu. I didn't see it available online. It's much more bigger than I thought it was and has a lot of seating options. We went in on a Sunday morning and it wasn't even busy! The employees were so nice & helpful. Their food was so good, better than most places. They also have a little stand filled with items such as books, pens, make up, candles, etc (mostly local stuff) Perfect for kids and toddlers since they have a play area in the back. You can come in a big group or by yourself. Can't wait to be back again!

Hands down my favorite coffee shop! There’s something so magical about the vibe there, especially when owners Kelly or Tony are working. All the other employees are fantastic too. There’s a ton of syrup options. There’s smoothies, hot chocolate and lemonade and frappes for the non-coffee crowd. They’ve been offering more options with muffins/cupcakes/dessert breads as well as fresh cooked breakfast & lunch sandwiches and salads on certain days/times. The cinnamon & Carmel rolls on the weekends are AMAZING. There’s also a big section of gift items and Swallow merch! Check out the schedule for live music events! Oh, and they even offer adult beverages and things like Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas! Check their Facebook page or Instagram for updates on hours, just in case but they’re usually open nice and early and usually stay open through the day till like 5!

Cesar and I stopped for coffee ☕. We both had an enormous blueberry muffin, I had a shot of hazelnut in my coffee. It was delicious, the place was awesome lots of characters. Highly recommend stopping by to get some Java and see Kelly and her staff. Prices are amazing, too low to even call reasonable.

So happy to have a great coffee shop here in town! I love their Father Goose bagel and was happy to see they make flat whites to remind me of home! Plus lovely atmosphere and good service = 5 stars from me x

My favorite coffee shop! I love it here. Since it opened, it's been a favorite spot of mine. I am happy to drive 35 minutes every couple weeks, just to have a delicious caramel breve. The father goose breakfast sandwich is DIVINE. Cinnamon/caramel rolls and baked goods are also very good. Kelly keeps it so cozy and interesting in set up and decor. Gift shop area is always changing around! Lots of seating, between couches, chairs, and tables. Live music most Saturdays which is always a treat. Kid friendly, which I very much appreciate as a mom of small children. A play area including a cute kitchen and kids size table. Games, books. My kids never feel like a bother there, which can be rare these days. Peaceful, beautiful atmosphere! Highly recommend.

I look forward to coming here everytime I visit this town. The coffee is amazing along with the beautiful decor. I love the vibe and the owner is amazing and always suggests good drinks to try. I always get the rose vanilla but was suggested to try white chocolate and rose and loved it! I’d be here all the time if I lived here! :)

I love coffee shops, and this is perhaps the sweetest, coziest, kindest cafe ever! We ordered espresso, pastries, and a smoothie… and they were absolutely delicious! But, my favorite thing about Swallow Coffeehouse is the vibe. It’s so cozy, so stylish, so welcoming, and behind every corner or doorway is another cool piece of art, sitting area, or aesthetic. Thank you for being such a wonderful oasis!

Such a pleasant surprise in Lake Mills! A cafe with drinks, food, and a little shop area. There's plenty of seating and the vibes are cozy. They have non dairy options too! Since this was our first time, we did have questions and the staff was friendly and helpful to answer them! There's also plenty of street parking as well! They have a small area in the back for kids, which is a plus! Will definitely visit again!

Well we just found this little gem while checking out Lake Mills' July Jubilee. Great atmosphere and great service. They have some very creative seasonal coffee-based and non-coffee based beverages along with their own custom roasted whole bean and ground coffees.
