Swamp Room

The swamp room is a great place to unwind. The food is amazing especially their signature swamp burger. One of my favorites is the fried mushrooms. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The rest rooms are clean and the atmosphere is good ambian. Great for watching sports and just kicking back after work or a quick weekend get out the house spot.

I came here on a whim while in between NOLA Baton Rouge. I stopped for gas and happened to looked for late night eats on my ride back to Baton Rouge. This place popped up and after reading their menu and reviews I decided to order the Boudin Egg Rolls. I ordered from there takeout menu online (through Door Dash). It was easy, simple, and convenient! I arrived near the estimated pickup time. I wasn’t intially greeted at the first bar so I went to the other side. Same thing happened so I went further down the bar. After a couple of minutes one of the bartenders greeted me and checked on my order. She said it would be a little while before food was ready. Not sure if the issue was because of ordering online or something else. Anyways, I wish I would’ve gotten her name. She was really nice and made me feel welcome. After approximately 15-20 minutes arriving, my food was ready to go. It was hot, fresh, and incredibly delicious! Everything I was hoping for! Crispy on the outside and so soft on the inside. Their take on Sweet and Sour with heat was delightful. Those two things combined together were fantastic! If ever in town, I’ll be coming back for this. Parking was limited but not the worst. Very busy at 9-10 pm. Establishment was really loud on the inside between the music & chatter. Booths, tables— inside & outside, and bar area seating is available. Overall experience was pretty great!

I can not say enough good things about this place. The food is amazing and the staff are always so friendly. Very very accommodating to any get together or event. Places like this are hard to find.

Me and my buddies needed food late at night this popped up and gotta be real TOP 5 burger I’ve ever had. Super nice staff and a clean atmosphere. Must try if you are in the area.

Great little place for late night food that’s not Waffle House. I’ve been there a few times with my wife and some friends. Everything we’ve had there has been excellent. The staff is quick and friendly. The prices are a little high, but that’s everywhere nowadays, can’t escape the effects of inflation

Love it. RITA the Bartender is the best. She's super experienced and cute. Way older than she looks! I wish the bar organized the liquor better for fast access for bartenders on the weekend bc it doesn't really make sense the way it is now (I'm a Bartender myself). Swamp room has always been a hub since I was in high-school 15 years ago and continues to be a solid late night choice. The pool tables felt were very decent quality and a lot of stick options though a few were shattered. Love the mural when you walk in - I would love to see some more art throughout the place to emphasize the swamp theme (HOLLAAAAA, I'm a mural artist also ;) )

Stopped in here for a quick lunch either my wife. They Swamp Burger was awesome. Cooked perfect, juicy, and great fires. Beer was cold as well. Had a great lunch and will be going back.

WOW!! Had the Swamp burger, seasoned perfect, add bacon jalapeño and mushrooms with pepper Jack cheese. Delicious AF!! There’s one teeny tiny complaint I have though.. the bun just doesn’t stand up with how deliciously juicy the burger is, it falls apart right from the jump. It did not affect my experience whatsoever. I will make my way back over there to try something else on the menu. Hands down DELICIOUS! I ordered from the Google site (door dash) my total wait time from order to pick up was 15 minutes and it was so hot and again delicious!
