Swan Motel

This place was so nice. The rooms were super clean and quite. We sat by the pool most of Saturday, the pool was well maintained and clean also. The grounds are covered in trees and gardens, very peaceful. The hosts were very polite and kind. 5 min drive to downtown Stratford. Definitely would go back and recommend this place to others.

If you want your trip to Stratford to be even more amazing, stay at "The Swan Motel" on Downie Street. My room was beautiful. Two queen size beds, two sitting tables, free Wi-Fi, a TV that actually worked, a great sized bathroom, and two fabulous views from my room. I took full advantage of lazing around by the pool, and loved the beauty of the picturesque grounds which includes a magnificent gazebo...and speaking of magnificent, Colleen, who is one of the owners, treated me like family! Thank you so much Colleen. My stay at The Swan Motel was one of my favorite 'Souvenirs" of my entire trip. Can't wait to see you next year.

Perfect place to rest, everything was impeccably clean and quiet. Pool and surrounding yard/garden is very inviting. Comfortable beds with fresh linen. Staff are very friendly. A little updating with decorating and this would be a high end Motel.

Been here a few years in a row! The owners are lovely :) The proximity to the town is good, and the place is clean and neat. It had a pool and good wifi! Muffins/coffee/tea are a complementary in the morning. We always come back every year!

My husband and I stayed there last night and where extremely impressed. The location was great (just a but out of town but not far), the rooms where very cleaned and the owners where extremely helpful and pleasant. We will definitely be back again.

Just spent 2 nights at the Swan Motel. Very clean rooms and quiet location. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Stratford.

Quaint, vintage roadside motel. Clean. Excellent landscaped grounds. Mature trees. The hostas and blooming flowers are beautiful. Surprising quiet. Beautiful pool but it was too chilly to swim. Friendly, knowledgeable owners. If you are in Stratford for the Shakespeare Festival, tap into their knowledge; especially the Misses, she attends every play. Coffee and muffins provided each morning in the lounge / lobby, and a small coffee-maker in your room. The beds are fantastic! Very reasonable rates, even on the weekend compared to other places in Stratford, and easy to find. I recommend it.
