What a beautiful well maintained historic mansion! The room was amazing. We got there before check in, and Nathan was kind enough to allow us to check in early so we had time to walk downtown and check out the waterfront in Olympia. Nathan and Casey are excellent hosts. The breakfast was delicious; hats off to Casey for that.

We had a great experience in Olympia and the surrounding are. Swantown Inn was our home base. We loved the location. Our room (Percival) was clean and comfortable. It was peaceful and quiet. The 3 course breakfasts were nice and they switched it up every day. They really take pride in their food preparation and choices. I was impressed and satisfied with my breakfast. Nathan and Casey were delightful hosts and very informative with the local culture and recommendations. We will definitely be back to stay when in the area!

This place is lovely! Have you ever been to a vintage B&B where you felt like you couldn’t touch anything or really get comfortable? Swantown Inn is NOT like that. It’s wonderfully Victorian top to bottom, but it’s so inviting it feels like a home. We were welcomed like family, and even my need for a gluten free breakfast was fulfilled with grace (and deliciousness). I can’t say enough good things about this place!

Google
This was a wonderful bed and breakfast! The house is beautiful and cozy, with a gorgeous garden and walking distance to downtown. Nathan is so friendly and knows tons about the area. Breakfast (and coffee!) was delicious, and featured items from their garden. Will be staying again.

Google
What a find! This beautiful Victorian house is magical and our hosts were super! From delicious breakfast in the morning to enjoying a glass of wine in the garden in the evening, it was such a a treat to visit. Sadly, we had to miss breakfast on our second morning due to an early flight (which got delayed by 3 hours!). Would absolutely stay again if we are in the area and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Google
My stay was delightful! Bed so comfy. Lovely furnishings in this beautiful Victorian home. Breakfast was amazing and they went the extra to have a hotpot of coffee so that I could come down early and bring a cup up to my room. Nice extras like fridg and hot water pot at the end of the hall. I would definitely come back and stay while visiting Olympia.

I unfortunately was only there overnight for a work trip but I will 100% be returning. Nathan and Casey are so hosipitable and overall great people. The room was comfortable and unique. Don't even get me started on breakfast. Absolutely superb!

Google
I just had a fantastic stay at Casey and Nathan’s lovely Swantown Inn in Olympia. My only regret was that I couldn’t have stayed longer. Their home is gorgeous and welcoming. Casey and Nathan made me feel right at home and served the most delicious custom breakfast—accommodating my dietary restrictions on very short notice. It was so nice to explore Olympia very easily from the inn. I hope to return the next time I’m on the West Coast. Thank you Casey and Nathan.

Yelp
What fun! I love this Victorian Bed and Breakfast. The beds are huge , firm and very comfortable Breakfast was elegant and complete with a selection of tea, fresh orange juice and even an apple sorbet. There were crepes and warm scones too. My room had just a small shower but there was an elegant tub with hand-held shower head just down the hall. The owner also spoke of plans to upgrade soon. It was friendly, fun and an experience you'll enjoy.

Yelp
We had the best stay ever at the Swantown Inn. The hosts couldn't have been more delightful, their food was amazing, the capppucino and high speed internet made my day job a breeze. I forgot my book and they were kind enough to find it for me, and accidentally absconded with a mug that was conveniently handled. Really made our stay in Olympia perfect and not much reason to stay anywhere else next time.

Yelp
Excellent landmark of a place! This historic home has now been converted into an inn with a fantastic garden and it's own honey bee hives! This place also has coffee on the weekends! So even if your just in the neighborhood it's a great place to stop by and visit for a little cup of espresso or coffee. Stopping for coffee is a great way to get a feel for the place if your thinking about staying there or even if you just want to check it out! As for the inn itself, I have had family that have stayed here and they have given me great reviews! They said that they would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to try a quaint little getaway or just wanting to have an interesting vacation. 10/10

Yelp
Unfortunately I can not report a good experience holding my micro wedding at this venue. If you value organization, preparedness & getting what you pay for then skip over this place. Immediately upon arrival the day of our ceremony I was told there was no cake for us. A two tiered cake was included in the package we selected and paid for in advance. The owners claimed there was a problem with their vendor and the cake supplied was made by someone who does not bake and was a sloppy inedible mess. I am beyond shocked they felt the way to handle this situation was to tell me upon arrival. If they had let us know as soon as they found out there was a problem - even if that was the morning of - I could have sent a family member out to get something from a store last minute. But they did not give me that chance. As a venue that supposedly specializes in all inclusive small wedding packages how do you not think of a backup solution? My impression was they didn't care enough to put any effort into finding a solution but rather not deliver on one of the most fundamental elements of a wedding celebration. So no cake at our wedding, no photos of us cutting a cake. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional. My husband and I also paid extra for brunch with mimosas. The inclusive package we choose included a champagne toast, so the mimosas were to be on top of that. I explicitly stated I wanted enough for two mimosas per guest. The first round they brought out had hardly any champagne at all. When one of my sisters asked for her second, the owner serving us GOT AN ATTITUDE like he didn't want to bring out anymore. When he didn't bring my sister a second despite her request - I had to ask him AGAIN to bring out another for her and myself as well. After this awkward interaction and the owners inappropriate / irritated tone the rest of my guests were afraid or didn't know if it was okay to ask for a second. The second mimosas he brought out to my sister and I upon my repeat prompting were just orange juice. A bit later when we were served the champagne toast the glasses were only about a 3rd of the way full. Literally a couple of sips and that was it. I believe they were either severely cutting corners or had forgotten our order and were not properly prepared with enough champagne. Again so disappointing they did not care enough to follow through on what had been discussed and paid for in advance. There was also a problem with brunch. As everything else the menu had been worked out ahead of time. It was to be a parmesan egg dish, with roasted potatoes and a side of bacon. At the time we were deciding the menu, the owner was pressing for us to have sausage instead of bacon. I'm guessing this is because its a less expensive meat. I explained that my sisters and I don't like or eat sausage, but I was happy to pay extra for the bacon if this was a problem. The owner declined accepting additional payment, stating it would not be a problem. To my shock the day of our celebration our brunch plates had sausage, no bacon. So my guests and I didn't even have a full plate for brunch. There were just too many disappointments at the hands of SwanTown Inn. If you want professional handling of your wedding ceremony, attention to detail and a venue who cares about your celebration- go elsewhere. I wish I had.

Yelp
Awesome birthday treat! Really luxurious bespoke massage experience for me and my bestie. Tea and cookies while we soaked our feet and chatted about life - uninterrupted by family or phones. Followed by amazing 2 hour massage. Each of us brought a favorite thing to do aline for while the other was in their massage; me = a book; her = crochet a complicated pattern. Followed by ample charcuterie and more chatting. 6 hours and worth every minute. I feel revived.

Yelp
We loved our stay at the Swantown Inn. Our hosts, Nathan and Casey were amazingly helpful and full of information about the surrounding area and about the community. They made the place feel like a home away from home. The breakfasts were delicious alternating daily from sweet to savory, but always a great way to start the day. Perhaps the highest compliment I can offer is our plans to stay here again soon. We are definitely looking forward to enjoying the Swantown Inn again!

Yelp
I was thrilled to participate in a wedding styled shoot this weekend at the Swantown Inn & Spa. This is a beautiful hidden gem just a few minutes off the freeway in Olympia! Even in the dead of winter, the beauty this place holds is so worth visiting. While I didn't get to meet the staff, they made sure everything was clean and ready to go in the main house. The downstairs was pristine and welcoming. There were cookies waiting for guests and cozy couches with plenty of reading material. The huge picture windows offered some beautiful light without having to flip a single switch! Their ballroom is perfect for an intimate wedding with beautiful light that streams through the windows. I would highly recommend this place for someone wanting about 30 guests; that would be the perfect wedding here! The only negative thing I can say about this beautiful venue is it lacks parking. :( My Honda Pilot was a monster to get out of the driveway (but I had a baby in tow so hiking the driveway with my gear was out of the question), and I felt a bit like Austin Powers going back and forth to maneuver without hitting anything. I would recommend using a shuttle service for guests and having them park over on Jefferson street in their public parking lot. Keep the driveway for the couple, and anyone needing direct access to the ballroom (like grandma). Overall it was a beautiful venue and I hope to go back in the near future!

Yelp
The owners were pleasant, friendly, and helpful. They recommended many amazing places to eat meals and find hand crafted deserts. The breakfast we were served at the Inn was delicious and offered 3 separate dishes, Homemade pumpkin scones, a blueberry sorbet, And a wonderful main dish, the name of which I can't remember but included seasoned home fries topped with a baked Canadian bacon, egg, and creams sauce. It was delicious. The bed and breakfast is in a beautiful Victorian home. Our room had a very comfortable King size bed, its own bathroom and access to a small kitchenette with refrigerator, sink and microwave. There is a living room with television downstairs for all to use. The home is near to all activities in downtown Olympia.

Yelp
Nice people. Excellent breakfast. But the room was too small and very dark. The bed very uncomfortable. Bathroom and shower was very small. We just needed more space for bridal clothes, suitcases etc. I believe had they not been full the owners would have let us upgrade without question. Not handicapped accessible (which is my own fault for not checking) so unfortunately we won't be back.

Yelp
Nathan and Casey are wonderful and gracious hosts. My wife and I wanted to have a small, quaint wedding someplace beautiful that had a lot of charm and character. The Swantown Inn was the perfect place for everything we wanted for our wedding. The bed and breakfast was an added bonus to our ideal wedding experience. From top to bottom, we got maximum value from our time at Swantown Inn and look forward to enjoying it again very soon. Anyone looking for charm, personability, and uniquely peaceful lodging experience or event hosting, Nathan and Casey will make sure you are taken care of. Cheers!

Yelp
Such a beautiful place. We stayed in the Astoria room and it was perfect! The bed was super comfortable and the jacuzzi tub was awesome. Hosts were wonderful! We had a great breakfast, scones, sorbet, an amazing stuffed French toast with bacon on the side. Delicious! We will be back for sure. Thanks again!

Yelp
The worst place I ever stayed in. The place was filthy and both my wife and I got sick from the breakfast. The owner would not let me see the kitchen, hiding it. I entered the kitchen when he was in the other room. Shoes and dirty linen and towels littered the place. It was absolutely disgusting. Crap all over the place where they prepared food and cook the meals. A COVID epidemic waiting to happen. The health department is obviously not doing their job or being paid off. What a dump. The owner was irritating and obnoxious.

Yelp
This is a perfect place to mostly unplug and relax. Its not out of internet and cell reception but no tv in the room and everything meant to just have you relax. When i woke up at 5 and 6 it was extremely quiet still. The bed was very comfy and the fire place was just perfect. I didn't use the small kitchen upstairs for the guests but i loved the idea. I really enjoyed the the jacuzzi tub even if it wasnt long enough for me to fully stretch out and be covered it still was big enough for me to enjoy. I loved the breakfast, the coffee, and the lovely conversations with the owners. I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Thank you both for a splendid experience :) Swantown is a beautiful old Victorian B&B run by a husband and wife team. On our road trip on the way back home to the Bay Area we needed a place to stay and I found Swantown through a travel site. I am so happy i decided to book it. It was just a perfect stay. The place is wonderful, the hosts are welcoming and helpful paying attention to details that make the stay that much more special. Breakfast was fantastic ! Freshly baked scone and Italian parm egg dish that was delish, and great conversation ! A Tesla charger to boot. Will absolutely stay again when in Olympia.

Yelp
Friendly, welcoming staff. Victorian charm with modern amenities like AC and a luxurious jacuzzi tub in the Astoria room. Delicious 3-course breakfast every day made with home-grown ingredients. Lovely garden with shady spots to relax. We felt right at home!

Kimberly P.

Yelp
Most amazing get away! Day spa was wonderful -2 hour massages, deluxe charcuterie tray, steam shower, foot soak, wonderful relaxing atmosphere. Stayed overnight in the Astoria room and had a delicious breakfast the next morning. Nathan and Casey (owners) are super friendly, we had a great conversy with breakfast. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Yelp
My wife and I just got married and made our way to this little spot. What a great experience, both the host and the hostess were wonderful. They upgraded our room and it was nothing less than magical. I would highly recommend coming staying here. If not for the gorgeous view, at least come for the morning breakfast. Absolutely incredible.
google avatar

Yelp
Very unprofessional! My Silverado 1500, is a monster truck and my battery operated candles are a fire hazard. This "business" is a joke.

Zane R.

Yelp
My wife and I have been coming here for years now. We found this place as we were searching Olympia for a romantic night to spend away from home and pretty much decided it was our home away from home since that night. The owners, Nathan and Casey, are the only staff. The care they have for this gorgeous home and their guests is palpable, the gardens, the beehives (their honey is amazing!!), the absolutely 5-star breakfast served every time....it's an experience that can't be beat. They absolutely rock. This is the place to go if you want a classic bed and breakfast experience in the most cozy place imaginable and run by the nicest people. Refreshing and restful every time and their breakfast is simply amazing.

Yelp
Nathan and Casey are exceptionally kind and accommodating hosts. My wedding went off without a hitch and all of my family from out of town absolutely loved their rooms. Breakfast and catering for the wedding was amazing. Every step of the way I felt at ease with wedding planning because I knew Nathan and Casey had my back. Nathan even took my family to the train station in his van at the last minute when we realized all of the luggage wouldn't fit in my car! I seriously, seriously cannot thank them enough. Anyone planning a smaller wedding needs to have it at The Swantown Inn, and stay the night if you're looking for a high class B&B experience!

Yelp
I took my wife here for a couples massage last weekend for our anniversary. I picked it because of the high star rating and reviews. However, I was pretty disappointed for the cost of it versus what we received. *we did not stay the night, just used spa services* The hotel staff seems great. The experience is ok I guess. Cool little foot tub soak under a sky light, tea and a not so great cookie. But the outsourced help for massage not so much. My wife's therapist was so awkward and acted as if he'd never done a massage before. She said her massage was the worst she's ever had. My therapist was very friendly but massaged so hard I was sore for days. Even after requesting just a gentle relaxing massage. We left the massage scratching our heads at how Unrelaxed and dissatisfied we were for what we paid. Wishing we had just done the $80 couple massage on Groupon from other places.

Sue P.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary, and I loved it. It felt like home, more luxurious version of it with elegant decor and comfort. We enjoyed the amenities like great custom breakfast. The wine was complimentary, as well as delicious coffee from local Olympia coffee roasting CO.,
google avatar

Yelp
We came here to celebrate an anniversary. Never spent any time in Olympia, so we figured we'd stay for a couple nights and explore Swantown Inn was a great experience. Beautiful, quiet, friendly. I could ramble, but honestly, what more do you need: A perfect getaway that still is close to town town; incredibly helpful and generous staff (independently owned); lots of charm and character in the 1800s home. The breakfast provided was AMAZING. Not what I expected, considering breakfast was set for 9am and you share the table with the other guests (so anyone who doesn't like to socialize may not love it). But the food was to die for! Savory one morning, sweet the next, all homemade. Getting to chat with the owners over coffee really opens up your mind into their world and the history of the house. Outside there were quiet places to lounge and enjoy the scenery. Walkable / driveable to local restaurants and pubs. We opted for the spa experience upstairs. Loved that, obviously, as well! We would love to go back, especially since it's just a 90 minute drive from the Portland area. Something different but totally worth it!

Yelp
As part of our vacation during the pandemic, we stayed our first night at the Swantown Inn. Nathan, our host, was wonderful. The accommodations superb, the bed very comfortable (always an important thing), and the breakfast awesome. We booked it based on recommendations online and were not disappointed. An added perk is they have electric car charging, so we were able to charge to 100% overnight and be on our way the next morning. Would definitely stay here again!

Yelp
Yes its true that all my reviews are 5 star: but I only review places I loved. My godmother Ruth asked me if I ever thought, "This place is really more like 4 stars," and the answer is yes. My philosophy is that if a place does a great job, they deserve some irrational positivity because there are so many of us yelpers who are irrationally negative. All that being said, Swantown Inn is one of those special gems that deserves 10 stars. Not only was it a super comfortable and beautifully appointed room that we did not want to leave, but Nathan, one of the owners and the host of this B&B, may have saved my whole vacation. He took photos of Etta and I with the funny swan boards outside, and we made small talk about the circle tour of the Olympic peninsula. When asked our plan for the end of the long weekend, we mentioned a drive up to Vancouver. Nathan mentioned that there are often long waits at customs, and that our itinerary already included a lot of car time, and without being pushy or overbearing, gently steered us to reconsider our plan, recommending places and giving us new ideas. Thank you man, by the time we were on the other side, I had finally recovered and relaxed from my work burnout, the vacation was taking effect, and the last thing I would have wanted was to sit in the car forever. They have a beautiful place to stay, make a super tasty breakfast (the chipotle raspberry sorbet mid-course for breakfast was killer!) and above all else, Nathan and Casey are good people running an amazing, the best, bed and breakfast. Nathan even put up with my jabbering about Masterchef Australia.

Yelp
Saunter down the stairs Ham and eggs waiting for me This is heavenly (This B&B is wonderful. I don't really want to write a great review because I don't want YOU to find out about this place. Alas, the owners certainly do deserve the credit of an excellent review, so I must oblige. From first arriving at their house to the time we left, the owners made us feel at home. It provided everything we were looking for at a B&B: peacefulness, a wonderful room, input about the surrounding area, and a darn good breakfast. We got excellent dinner recommendations from them, as well as the good sights to see. I highly recommend this B&B. Tell them Yelp send you...)

Yelp
I came here for a Deluxe Spa Day and it was everything I could've wanted! From the minute I entered this beautiful Victorian home to the minute I left, I was relaxed and comfortable. I definitely recommend booking a spa day here! While there, read about the history of the building, enjoy the tea and cookies, and let yourself unwind in the wonderful environment they've created.
google avatar

Suzy V.

Yelp
Really neat little B&B. You can tell the owners love their home. It's very cool because it was built in late 1800's. Nathan is Australian and very sociable and his wife and kids make the B & B a real home. The Spa at the Attic was the best thing for me - it's right upstairs from your room, and you get a FULL 60 minutes massage (no skimping at all) with a rest period before and after. Plus the shower has about 10 heads and is so relaxing. It was a spectacular spa experience for me and so convenient. Loved the location, the people, the breakfast, and loved that spa!

Yelp
Beautiful house, very welcoming and understanding owner. Stayed in New puget suite with my boyfriend. Modern amenities and loved the polished concrete floor. Delicious homemade 3 course breakfast with coffee and orange juice. Really felt like part of the family while i was there; very pleasant atmosphere. Would love to visit this place again

Monica B.

Yelp
The owner was so rude. Based on google reviews there seems to be an issue with transparency In regards to their cancellation policy. With the risk of covid we wanted to understand their policy. In asked him about their cancellation policy he very rudely explained it and then told me if I'm thinking about canceling they will not be allowing me to book. I said I'm not thinking about canceling I just wanted to understand their hotel policy. He rudely snapped that they are a bed and breakfast NOT a hotel. I said ..sir you being quite rude and he said they are not a good fit and do not want my business. The call ending in a cussing match. WOW!! I'm not sure I've ever experienced anything like this. Spend your money somewhere else.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
Sweet owners but the pictures you see in the website in no way reflect the actual place. The towels are hard, pillows quite lumpy and the breakfast is all carbs - sorbet, apple pancakes and hard scones. We didn't care for the coffee - quite bitter - overall not really up to the websites portrayal of the place- you get a discount for cash but even that seems strange for a B and B that cost$125 a night-

Bethany H.

Yelp
Fourth time staying here, and it's obvious why we keep coming back: the innkeepers are friendly, kind, and accommodating, and made sure that we had everything we needed while we waited out a snowstorm. On a previous trip, they charged my dead car battery, and this time dug our car out of several inches of snow when it was time for us to leave. They're always quick to offer whatever help they can! We were comfortable, relaxed, and cozy in the Astoria room, which is worth a splurge. Breakfast is always memorable and delicious, and I always appreciate having excellent coffee along with it. This is definitely my favorite place to stay that isn't my own home!

Philip U.

Yelp
Ebike rental- really good experience. Couple was nice and helpful. Bikes were best way to experience Olympia. Will rent again. Thanks.

Yelp
I had a very relaxing massage at this place. Everyone was friendly and the house is AMAZING. I definitely recommend it.

Yelp
I didn't want to leave this quiet, comfy, historic, hospitable home. Breakfast: soufflé, scones, sorbet, orange juice, coffee. For snacking later, there are homemade cookies in the parlor. Percival room: natural light on north & east sides; a/c, overhead fan, & a screened window; the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in - a king with three lovely pillows; desk, settee, two suitcase racks, CD player with relaxing CDs. Great advice and maps on where to dine & walk nearby. A few blocks away and up the hill is Madison Scenic Park with lots of benches facing the view. Across the street from the south end of the park is a Little Free Library and bench. At 1313 9th Avenue, they grow a multitude of flowers, and sell fresh bouquets in the front yard.

Yelp
We just spent a lovely few days in the Astoria room. Celebrating our nephew's graduation from River Ridge high school and also our 11th wedding anniversary. This hidden little gem was comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Quick access to the freeway but tucked away surrounded by nature. We enjoyed the garden and admired the plants throughout the garden. Breakfast was a delight each day! Fresh baked scones and sorbet to clean the palate. Nathan and Kasey super hospitable and friendly. We ended our stay with a hot stone massage that was incredible. Treat yourself and stay at the Swan Inn!

Yelp
Date Visited: Wednesday-Sunday 11/24/10 - 11/28/10 I have never stayed at a B&B before, so this was definitely a new and unique experience for me. We had read Trip Advisor reviews for Swantown Inn before making our reservations, so knew the good and bad (according to previous guests) going on. Spazz and I arrived on Wednesday night after braving cold icy roads from the Portland area. Innkeeper, Nathan, came to the door and let us put our things in the room before giving us a tour of the house and where breakfast would be at the hour we wanted (since we were the only guests at that time). He asked if there was anything we needed and to not hesitate if we thought of things throughout our 4-night stay. He gave us maps and pointed out a number of local restaurants that were vegetarian-friendly and stores where we could get snacks and cold drinks for our stay and then let us be. We stayed in the Astoria Room. This is the Honeymoon Suite, complete with a King sized bed, couch, and private bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi Tub. The bed was too soft for my own taste (I'm more of a cement slab kinda girl) and comfort, but I can see why many people love it. We soaked in the Jacuzzi tub every night and then got to relax in the provided robes for the rest of the evening before bed. I might have been spoiled by the experience. During our 4-night stay, we had many fun and informative conversations with Nathan and his wife, Casey. We also had some delicious and filling 3-course breakfasts, thanks to their awesome culinary skills. Nathan makes awesome scones - don't hesitate trying one! They were able to accommodate our vegan and vegetarian diets without any problem whatsoever. The Olympia location served us perfectly well as we used it as a base camp for a few different trips. The 5 freeway was just a quick hop down the road. You could be in Seattle in about 90 minutes or so. The great thing was that we didn't have to stay in crazy/noisy Seattle. It was such a quiet neighborhood in Olympia that we never heard noises outside while we slept. We didn't take advantage of the attic spa services this time, but a future trip will hopefully happen and I will be sure to take advantage of those services later. Big thank you to Nathan, Casey, Lauren, and Evan for a memorable and enjoyable stay. We hope to see you all in the near future.

Yelp
Nathan and Casey put so much care in all the little details to make your stay a wonderful experience. We stayed in the Percival room and loved everything: the comfy bed (not excessively soft like we now fear hotel beds might be, but a perfect mix of support and plushness), the soft music playing from the most quaint looking CD player, the luxurious robes, the chocolate chip cookies, and the DELICIOUS breakfast (best scones ever, incredible banana coconut sorbet, sausage links and egg bake... yum yum!). The historic house is so cute and tastefully decorated. One of the best B&Bs we've stayed at!

Yelp
We stayed here on our wedding night and were thoroughly impressed. The Astoria room is beautiful, the breakfast AMAZING, and the accommodations simply stunning. We had a wonderful time, the owners are so sweet, and we will surely come back.

Yelp
I stayed here along my journey to all 4 corners of America raising awareness for veterans with PTSD on foot and bicycle. This place is a true gem! It is an old Victorian house that has everything you could want! The bathrooms are done to period but have modern amenities. The rooms are spotless, beds are a dream to sleep on, and the food they can prepare is amazing! If that wasn't enough, the owners are a true delight and such wonderful people to have a conversation with. They know the area inside and out. They also have their own honey you can buy! But the best part is the brand new event center they have there. It is so nice! Weddings, meetings, family reunions, you name it and you can have it here. You've probably stayed in a hotel before. Don't do that if you are in the area. You can do that anywhere. Stay here at this wonderful B&B and spa. You will thank me later!

Yelp
Great B n B! Cozy, quiet and kinda like staying at your grandma's house decor wise. (in a good way). The nicest couple EVER run this place, and as expected will make you breakfast in the morning. When I booked online it asks if you have any dietary preferences, being vegetarian I was incredibly impressed by the willingness to make sure I had the most amazing breakfast ever. and it was.

Yelp
This B&B has to be one of the best on the west coast! We came here for a respite from the city and were greeted by Nathan and his wife Casey. It felt like home and it was easy to unwind around the other guests as well as the caretaker's family. The rooms are beautiful examples of Victorian-era furniture and decor with just the right amount of modern "touch", which creates a truly wonderful, truly unique space. Breakfast was excellent as well and the location of the inn is very convenient for people looking to walk to town for dinner or other activities. The spa located in the attic also did a wonderful job accommodating our couple's massage and treatments. I HIGHLY recommend this B&B to any travelers looking for a calm, relaxing place to lay their head.

Yelp
I had a family wedding to attend and remembered seeing a online coupon for this place. It had sounded wonderful and the many positive reviews made my choice obvious. I have to say, the reviews do not lie! The Swantown Inn is going to be my choice of lodging for whenever I need to stay down in Olympia. The innkeepers are wonderful friendly people that make you feel like YOU are welcome, not just your credit card. I stayed in the Perceval room. The reading nook is so nice to curl up in and read for a bit before going to bed. The CD player with soft music on it when you arrive makes it feel so warm, peaceful and welcoming. The period antiques that the house is decorated with make you feel like you have stepped back in time and gives the Swantown Inn a lot of her charm. The food for breakfast is out of this world. The banana sorbet was refreshing and the breakfast pudding was out of this world! Being allergic to eggs means normally I have cereal or toast for breakfast. Having a wonderful hot breakfast was a great way to start a very busy day with my family. It was so much fun visiting with the other guests at breakfast and hearing the stories from Nathan about what they plan to do with the inn and little bits about things going on in the neighborhood.

Yelp
This is the most charming bed and breakfast with spa I have come across. I have lived in many places and this place had the kindest innkeepers and the gentlest masseuse. The spa treatment made me feel like I was a queen with a before foot bath, cookies and tea. I felt like I was at a resort. Oh and the robes were deliciously comfortable and so was the bed. This place is worth experiencing I cannot put enough positive aspects to it on here because there are so many. Also kudos to the chefs as well for a superb homemade breakfast that made me again feel like a queen. Thank you Swantown Inn & Spa! I can't wait to return!!!!!!

Yelp
Enjoyed the stay very much so. Caught up on sleep in their ridiculously comfortable beds. Very old house but it's worth the charm and reasonable price. Breakfast was sweet - maybe something more savory to balance out the breakfast. Good coffee and it was enjoyable to converse with the other couple traveling. Enjoyed that conversation the most: Nathan and Casey are nice people and their children seem wonderful. I hope this place continues to improve and become more popular. Did the massages too, good massage. I liked that there were no TVs in the bedrooms...gave us a more legitimate feel.

Yelp
My Husband and I were there on our 3rd anniversary getaway and the place was absolutely beautiful. It was one of a one a kind stay experience unlike all the hotels we had stayed at. Nathan was very friendly and very helpful. Casey's breakfast was amazing too. Her blueberry scones and sorbet are a must try. We even took their Spa service and Amy was very good. I will definitely come back again.

Yelp
I come to Olympia for work, and I love staying at Swantown Inn. It's located close to downtown but also feels a million miles away (in a good way). The rooms are comfy--amazing beds!--and it doesn't feel at all cookie-cutter like name-brand hotels. The breakfasts are beyond delish. It's just a lovely, restful environment, which is great after days of staring at screens.

Yelp
Love this place! Got married here, was a wonderful experience for a great price. Room was just fantastic, jacuzzi tub heated tile floors beautiful antiques. Comfortable four poster bed, lovely view of the capital. The innkeepers are very nice and the atmosphere is very intimate and homey!
