The Best Formula One Miami Grand Prix Events 2022 | Eater Miami

"I noted that Swarm is bringing back a weekend-long Racing Fan Fest in Wynwood — a free festival offering live watch parties, an e-sports tournament with music industry talent, racing simulators, a pit stop challenge, team merchandise for sale, and, in partnership with Red Bull and Cash App, a full bar, food options, and live DJ sets all weekend." - Olee Fowler

I am writing to formally report an incident involving Manager Tyler Nico and to request a refund for my recent visit. During my interaction, I asked for a receipt, and without justification, Mr. Nico falsely claimed to security that I had made a female employee uncomfortable. When I attempted to calmly raise my concerns about this accusation, he cursed at me and had me removed from the premises. This behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I am requesting an immediate refund for my purchase and a review of this incident. If the matter is not resolved promptly, I will consider pursuing further civil action

I had the horrible misfortune of renting a space for Basel House 2019, what a HUGE mistake, especially because these people do a few events in the area so they do not care what they do as new unsuspecting vendors eagerly rent from them and loose their time and money. This was the worst company to work with as a vendor and the bartenders steal money from your credit card charges if you are a guest. they did both to me. They have no clue about floor planing and vendor relations nor how to design a smart and productive traffic flow for the event in general.. The management is the least prepared and professional people you will ever meet. Also, and the hugest FALSE ADVERTISING they promoted over and over again a traffic volume of 100,000 people, there where barely 100-200 per day{they where in Miami outside of the event, unfortunately they did not know how to get the into their advertised event. I have written to them with my concerns and a large list of mistakes they made which lead to terrible placement after I paid extra to have good placement, they did not have good security in place and I got ROBBED, the event coordinators where immature, sarcastic and completely inept to interact with adults. They where condescending and its now not surprising as I wrote the email and addressed it to the CEO, management and owners and NO REPLY. I had no other option then to contact the Better Business Bureau to reported them. Anyhow look at review the pictures below, as I should have researched ALL the NEGATIVE reviews instead of all the fluffy good ones from people going to concerts, but everyone that paid for anything seem to be very unhappy with this company along with myself. This has been going on for the past few years and they ALL address everything I experienced. The site pictures are in the "premium" vendor area of the 3 days I was there till 2am and as you can see it was empty, all the people you see at booths are the vendors. Clearly not even close to 100 people and NOWHERE NEAR 100,000. on the second day 2 vendors left and on the third day a vendor with a two-space booth packed it up too. I just had some hope that it would at least pick up to a few hundred people to at least make my money back for paying extra to be in a "premium" spot placement booth. Last video is the bartender that stole money from my card after he asked me if I wanted to tip on the card and I said NO I have cash for you and I proceeded to tip him $2 in cash I had in my hand ….. the drink was $13, my card was charged $16.50 (if you times that by all the people he may have ripped off, he made loads of money on us all) after all he was saying that it was slow and that it has never been like this, well he certainly figured out his tips!!!! I hope this stops anyone who reads this from dealing with this company and/or attending any future events by them. They also run Thrifter, Wynwood Market and anything that comes from Thrifter.

We got two tequilas, they were pretty good but it was $30. They have really great couches and outdoor seating.

After giving it a couple of days, I called the office again, only to be told that there was no lost and found. When I reached out to guest relations, the same rude person answered the phone. In Miami, getting simple information is always a runaround. For comparison, I once lost my phone at Club Space, and security found it within minutes. During Ultra Music Festival, there were designated lost and found tables with staff available to assist. As a Miami native, I find this kind of poor customer service all too common. This particular venue now charges $20 for just one hour of roller skating, which speaks volumes about how it is run. What used to be a welcoming space for people to hang out for free has now turned into a blatant cash grab, with so-called “free events” accompanied by overpriced food—especially when there are better, more reasonably priced options just outside the venue. I’m beyond frustrated with the lack of customer service in Miami. Even as someone from here, I still don’t understand why businesses hire people with such terrible attitudes—especially when all I was trying to do was locate the lost and found. Do not do business here

Very fast bartenders, organized, and great venue set up. Also, i lost my phone in the beginning of April and they got it back to me (I live in the Bay Area, California). "Hi Carlos and the Swarminc team, I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for everything you did to help return my iPhone 13 Pro after I lost it during partying too hard at the rave in Miami (first time there). Carlos, you went above and beyond. You/your team not only found my phone, but you charged it, helped me get back in touch, and followed through even when it took a few of weeks to get it shipped back. I know that’s not part of your job description, and I can’t express how grateful I am that you took the time and care to do that. For the last 3-4 weeks when I didn’t have my hair phone, it was bad….. couldn’t get into anything bc it was linked to that number. It even took Apple two weeks just to reset my access, and through it all, I held off on replacing my number because I had faith that you’d come through. And you did.. respect bro! I’m sorry it took me a little while to write this. Been catching up on work, trying to get everything back on track. Thank you again for your honesty, patience, and willingness to help. It meant more than you probably know. -Randy"

I had such a great time with my friends at Wynwood Life, Basel House and Hive! Their events are very organized. They also have a variety of food trucks, live art and cool vendors which is rare to find in other events!

The flight was a great experience -- though only 1 min each, if you had never done anything like this before, it is a great rush. It is pushing me to try actual (tandem) skydiving! And i'm afraid of heights! :) Keep in mind how expensive this could be (respective to other "like" experiences) though -- I found tandem skydiving for ~ $125, while this experience is ~ $60, $47 w/ the groupon.

Swarm events are a great place to hang out for a while or pass through for a drink while exploring Wynwood. Whatever you choose, theres always a solid variety of food trucks and vendors with cool stuff. The bartenders are always courteous and quick. The crowd is all over the place, which makes for awesome people watching.
