Tried Swee Choon at Century Square and it feels quite different from the Jalan Besar outlet. The food was quite normal and didn’t really meet my expectations.
The egg noodles were very plain, and the chee cheong fun was on the tougher side, not soft or silky enough. The chicken feet also wasn’t great. On the plus side, the carrot cake was pretty good, and the century egg porridge was not bad as well.
Service-wise, I must say it was very good. The aunties and uncles were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience more pleasant. Overall, food was average, but the good service helped balance things out.
