Where to Drink Boba in Portland - Eater Portland

"Located inside of Union Way, Swee2o’s central location makes it a natural pit stop for anyone hanging out downtown or near Powell’s Books. On the menu customers will find a variety of far-out signature drinks like the breakfast latte, made with avocado and coffee. Less adventurous options include classics like the Thai milk tea and uji matcha milk tea. Swee2o is takeout only, with no seating inside the cafe." - Seiji Nanbu

Was happy I stumbled upon this amazing boba shop! Originally came for the shaved ice but I didn't miss out because this treasure sure was delicious! I got the Purple Hazy with boba and they even substituted the milk for almond! Super cute place, great vibe, amazing find on a hot Portland day!

I got a waffle ice cream and my wife got a boba. Mine was pretty good but think there are better options for both nearby. Really wished they had a better menu with description and preferably photos of the items as they do look great but the names provide no context so the minimalist design is doing a disservice. Their hours of operation have also always seemed to be troublesome as during the week cant go after work and they just recently started serving sundays but still can't get something after dinner or even try out the coffee machine since I've already had mine way before the noon opening.

Great options whether or not you're into tea. The drinks default at cold, but upon request can be made warm. I do recommend either the boba balls or the soft coconut cubes. Very cool atmosphere in the center of the building which gives it an almost secret or hidden vibe. An absolute gem.

Cool place downtown to get a boba tea and other drinks with some out of the ordinary flavors. The presentation of the drinks are great and the drink itself is good. I had the special creme bru matcha flavor drink. It was pretty good and you can taste both the matcha and creme brulee to it. The drinks do take awhile to come out so if you are in a rush, its probably not the best place for you.

The Portland Cloud truly stole the show! It's like a creme soda made with Ginger ale, tropical island mix, boba and topped with sea salt creme. So refreshing! The taste of the ginger ale with the creme was a new flavor for me and I was shocked at the delicious combo. We also ordered the Hyper mango. The mango flavor was good and not overly sweet. I just wished the lid was better because stirring was not possible and I would get a lot of coconut creme at the bottom. Not until halfway was I able to really mix it and then it was phenomenal. I didn't get too much of the grapefruit flavor either, mostly all mango taste which is my go to anyway so I liked it but wasn't wowed. I originally came in just for the Drowning Grapes drink featured on their page but they didn't have it. It's a drink made with yakult and grape juice, something I've never seen anywhere but their menu is pretty unique in general and the Portland Cloud made the visit well worth it.

What a cool concept! The robot was speedy and friendly, and managed to do passable latte art as well. All I gotta ask is... How do I get a Jarvis?

Uber delicious grapefruit tea and creme bru matcha. Staff are very friendly. Default sweetness is perfect, not too sugary, and lets a bit of the fruit's acidity shine through.

Great drink I really like it!! I don't remember the name but something that I liked the most was that it was very refreshing and not super sweet!
