Having to wait for a table next door at The Magic Noodle, I had plenty of time to look at the menu of ice cream sandwiches and other concoctions. So luckily for us, Sweet Addiction closed a half hour after their neighbor.
The concept here is customers can choose from several types of cookies and ice cream, and create their own ice cream sandwiches. Being stuffed from next door, I skipped the sandwich idea and opted for one scoop and one cookie. I had cappuccino crunch with a white chocolate mac nut. The ice cream had a nice subtle coffee flavor w/o being too sweet or bitter. Just right. The cookie was very soft and fresh. It was a good combo.
Everyone else seemed to have enjoyed theirs, and I would've given Sweet Addiction a higher rating, but one of the girls that helped us appeared to have an itch on her belly or something. She kept using her bare hands to go under her shirt and scratch herself. As I watched her in slight disgust, I also kept an eye on her culprit fingers to make sure there's no contact with my order. Luckily there was none or I would've definitely said something.
SA is a great place to grab something cold & sweet after a meal, especially in the hot Vegas evenings, but the belly-scratcher was a huge turn-off.
