The 20 Best Restaurants in Reykjavík, Iceland | Eater

"After working in fine dining restaurants in France and Iceland, Aurore Pélier Cady opened this fine French patisserie that infuses things like choux, macarons, and cakes with seasonal Icelandic herbs and flowers, many of which she forages for herself. The bakery sits in a chilled out downstairs space with comfy seating. Nice coffees and breakfast pastries make it an easy place to linger." - Nicholas Gill

Amazing. Beautiful decor, the best gluten free pastry, great variety of choices, will be coming back. Got the gluten free pavlova and an apple something that was a little less memorable.

Such a cozy little patisserie! Aurora for the northern lights absolutely had a knack for the tastiest macaroons. If you are French, from France or cannot / have not been to France and tasted macaroons, must try this. Its popularity and chicness make it worthy the pitstop. Aurora is extremely talented.

Fabulously cute little pastry shop with stunning cookies and cakes and delicious coffee and tea. Off the main road, and well worth a visit. Really world class pastry - would do well in Paris.

I got a chocolate lava and my friend got a gluten free apricot macaron! They both were super fresh and delicious. They have several gluten free options.

A cute cafe with home baked pastries. You find a lot of styles and different tastes and even gluten-free pastries. Can recommend Auroras chocolate cake. It’s a small cosy cafe with an open window so you can see how they baking in the kitchen.

STOP HERE! you won't be disappointed! Is it off the beaten path? Sure. Is it small and possibly crowded? Yes. But it's sooooo delicious 😋. My friends and I got morning treats that we ate there and got treats to take back to our hotel for later- everyone loved it ❤. I was left day dreaming about the coffee eclair and we all agreed we needed to go back before we left Iceland.
