The 20 Best Restaurants in Reykjavík, Iceland | Eater

"After working in fine dining restaurants in France and Iceland, Aurore Pélier Cady opened this fine French patisserie that infuses things like choux, macarons, and cakes with seasonal Icelandic herbs and flowers, many of which she forages for herself. The bakery sits in a chilled out downstairs space with comfy seating. Nice coffees and breakfast pastries make it an easy place to linger." - Nicholas Gill

Excellent patisserie with cakes as works of art and great coffee too, in a small cozy space. This was a perfect spot for an afternoon break as we checked out the sights in Reykjavik. Our group had a selection of cakes and all were exquisite and delicious. Sweet Aurora is worth a visit if you are in the neighbourhood.

A lovely experience. We had a birthday on this trip and they had the perfect patisserie for her 'Birthday cake'. We were so pleased with our selection and that there were multiple gluten-free options.

Wow the selection of cakes is insane! I went for passion and got a hot chocolate with Tonka which was so good! Best hot chocolate in Iceland! 10/10! I wish I got more cakes!

A small patisserie at a quiet corner in Reykjavik. I ordered an Arctic tart with almond cream and berries flavor at 1400kr (most of cakes in the fridge are the same price), and a latte at 790kr. It is a perfect match. But there is no toilet here

The rich flavor in these sweets never lets you down. We came to try éclairs but weren’t lucky with that. However, we tried other desserts, and they were more than amazing—the pastry and the filling were perfect. This is the first time I have enjoyed buying sweets in Iceland.

This should be the first patisserie you visit in Reykjavik. Excellent french pastries with Icelandic inspirations! There is also a charming seating area to relax and have a nice conversation.

I saw this bakery on Guide to Iceland and ran to try the pistachio eclair. It was worth it. So, so good.

Had a delicious hot chocolate and lava cake here! If you’re in Reykjavik, I would recommend dropping by here for a sweet treat! There are plenty of options that both look and taste good.
