A Boozy New Dessert Bar Hits Deep Ellum This Summer - Eater Dallas

"Deep Ellum will have a new destination for desserts and cocktails when Sweet Dessert Bar lands this summer. Permits filed with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission indicate that the bar will set up shop at 2650 Elm Street in the coming months. A website established for the dessert shop indicates that it will serve 'drinks, desserts, and bites,' including cocktails and sweets like bubble egg waffles, mochi ice cream, and mille crepe cakes. Nice location. But the prices are not nice. 12$ for an extreme small cocktail is not the best price for this area. Even if the waitress was very nice only 2 of 5…. Make it better... More or cheaper. By the way sex on the beach is no Pina colada.... God bless you 😇

I was overcharged for my drinks. I asked for house whiskey and coke and I was charged for crown Royal. On top of all that men just walk out back to the smoking area and pee everywhere !!!

Great venue! Bar and staff were great! Along with great drink prices! Smoking area out back. DJ was off the chain! Lee Leprechaun was DJing the night I went! It was a Tuesday and there were a lot of people out!

Had a great time at this place. Before we even came in the guy at the door asked us if we “wanted to party” and let us right in, which I thought was a fun difference from the usual grumpy door guys at other clubs. The next day I was trying to find the place to tell a friend and couldn’t find it. Turns out it’s called “Sweet” and not “Swet” (logo is a little hard to read) although I think the latter is a more suitable name considering how much dancing goes on inside.

You’d have to be there to know what I mean, definitely an amazing place to vibe and catch a couple of drinks with people who are just looking to have a good time and shout out Dj blaqq coming through with all the hits I definitely give this place a 10/10 I highly recommend it!
