Your order is made fresh so expect to wait a little bit for it to cook. This is a cute hole in the wall place with tasty waffles! I was expecting more of a liege waffle with the crunchy pearl sugar and more of a rigid structure, but this was just a really good fluffy delicious Belgian yeast-dough waffle. Still good! The Belgian coffee was surprisingly bitter for being made with ice cream but I’m not mad at it. Service was great despite the wait for the waffles to cook I could tell the worker was absolutely hustling and bustling to get everything done well.

This place was an amazing find. I happened to walk by and could smell the waffles, so I had to go in. I got a waffle with maple syrup covered in bacon crumbles. Before I left, I got some cinnamon-glazed waffles to go. The waffles are glazed like donuts. They are delicious! Audrey Marques (one of the owners) was super kind and friendly. Definitely recommend and definitely going back.

This place is amazing! The waffles are made from a yeast dough not just a batter. You really need to try them, I can not describe how good they are. So much better than what comes to mind when you think waffle. Also, Sergio is a great guy. Please do yourself a favor and get by here. My picture does not do it Justice as I have already eaten half of it.

The most unexpected and delicious hole in the wall restaurant to date. We walked in and just the strong sweet aroma was enough to have us sold. We bought the 6 small glazed waffles and got 3 different flavors. We thought we should add toppings but just the glazed flavors was more than delicious. The waffles plain were out of this world. Best waffles we have ever had and we will definitely be coming back for more. A must see in Charleston.

Can’t miss! Sweet Belgium was a last minute find, but was one of the best waffles I’ve ever had. I ordered the set of six glazed “mini” waffles in Vanilla Oreo, Raspberry (my favorite), and Dark Chocolate! I will definitely come back!

Amazing waffle place ran by an amazing couple. Loved the waffles one of the best I have had. The place is cute with powerful food and amazing service as well. We visited there on our last day in Charleston and wished if we had more time to spend here. Definitely a must visit place and must try waffles. We tried two different sets of waffles and loved both, attached pictures was a whole waffle with white chocolate, Nutella and strawberry. Amazing flavors overall . Loved every bit of our experience here

The owner of the shop seems to know everything about Belgian waffles and is clearly very passionate about making them. I felt like we were getting the premium waffle making experience with him behind the counter. We got the six inch, plain Belgian waffles. It was plenty of waffle for the price, and the honey and fresh strawberries were a great addition amongst many tempting topping options. The waffles were delicious and I would love to return!

Great tasting waffle. It didn't quite live up to Belgium for me personally though. Affordable prices and a good list of toppings. My strawberry milkshake was basically strawberry milk though so I don't recommend that one.
