Sweet Cakes by Melissa

Ordered a dozen custom raspberry chocolate cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday. The flavors were phenomenal and she loved the succulent design. Cake was very moist, and frosting just the right amount of sweetness. We also enjoyed a breakfast burrito while we waited on our cupcake order and it was massive, easily could be shared by two people.

I think that quite possibly was the best breakfast burrito ever. The cinnamon roll was exceptional as well. I generally don't care for cinnamon rolls made by others. Theses taste like how I make them.

I am always impressed with Melissa’s cake decorating and flavors! She made us a sweet baby shower cake for my SIL. My family also enjoys breakfast at Sweet Cakes. Their breakfast burritos are delicious!

This place has some amazing food! Today I got the strawberry cheesecake cone and it was made to order with strawberries throughout not just on the top! I have also had the breakfast croissant sandwich in the past and it did not disappoint!

Passing through on a motorcycle trip stopped in for breakfast. Food was fantastic. Cherry Danish was buttery and light. Pancakes were delicious and the sausage was amazing! Delightful family run business! We would definitely stop by again if we return to the area.

Not one to typically leave a review but while visiting my Mom in Polson she recommended this place and wow was it great! The breakfast burrito was huge (easily enough for 2 people) and the blueberry coffee cakes were excellent as well. Highly recommend this spot

Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a delicious chicken sandwich with fantastic fries. They were some of the best fries I've had in a while. I'll definitely stop by for another meal.

We were in Ronan for a wedding and stopped here for lunch. Glad we did! Really good food and treats. The desserts are amazing. Huckleberry cheesecake , Reese’s peanut butter cheesecake bar, and coconut dream bar are all wonderful! Friendly folks. We’ll stop here whenever we’re in town.

We had Melissa make a birthday cake for my husbands birthday. Her cake menu is extensive and they all sound amazing, which makes it very hard to narrow it down to just one selection! But my husband requested huckleberries, which was not an option on the menu (makes sense since she is new to this area). I contacted her to see if she could do a huckleberry cake. She didn't have any huckleberries at that time so we settled on the Marion Berry cake. The next day Melissa reached out to let me know she had secured some huckleberries and would be happy to do that for us. Let me say, she did not disappoint!! The cake was phenomenal! It was beautiful layers of butter cake with a combination of white chocolate cream filling, homemade huckleberry filling, and a huckleberry cheesecake filling. There was not a single element of this cake that fell short of perfection! Typically we feel the frosting is extremely sweet and it gets scraped off and left on the plate. That was not the case with Melissa's creation. The cake was not overly sweet in any way, and the huckleberries were allowed to shine through and were very clearly the star of the show! We communicated several times during this process and Melissa was extremely responsive and very professional throughout. I seriously cannot recommend her enough! If I could give this bakery 10 stars I would!

If you're looking for baked goods with a side of prejudice, this might be the spot. But if you value equality, decency, and kindness, take your money somewhere else. Plenty of other bakeries know how to treat all people like people. This one doesn't. Do better

Wonderful bakery/restaurant. Stopped in on our drive from Whitefish to Missoula. Bought a cupcake and cheesecake, both of which were absolutely delicious. Melissa and staff were very friendly. Wonderful family-owned business. Shop was nicely decorated, with Christian and Montana themed decor. Everything was clean, including bathrooms. It's a must-stop for anyone driving through or visiting the area.

when I walked in this quaint little restaurant, I was pleasantly surprise... The chicken pesto sandwich was wonderful! service was friendly with a smile, and the monster cookies (gluten-free) were the perfect addition. Melissa was very friendly, and since I was visiting from Texas, she made me feel like I was home. if ever in the are, I'd go again and again...

friendly staff. excellent Reuben and fries. lots of dessert choices we tried a few different cupcakes, the snickers cheesecake brownie and the tuxedo brownie, all delicious, sad we were a long ways from home and will not get to try more of their menu

Melissa and her team hit the ball out of the park again with one of their cakes. Ordered a Marion berry cheesecake filled cake for a weekend get together on Thursday afternoon and the cake was ready on Saturday!! It was decorated with flowers and a happy birthday saying and weighed a lot!! The service and attention to detail that this business has is second to none. The cake was light and delicious, but not overly sweet. If you are in the Mission Valley and need a cake make sure to call Melissa first. You won't be disappointed!!

Excellent cakes and pastries! We definitely recommend. There is parking in the front and nearby parking. Their cakes and pastries are beautifully done.

The most AMAZING cupcakes, ever! This woman has a gift. Everything we've tried has been fabulous. She has a wide variety of goodies, but the cupcakes are my fav! We've had them for every birthday at our office and have NEVER been disappointed.
