"Sweet Cats is one of those newfangled arcade cafes, where claw machines line up filled with brightly colored stuffed animals. Order from a counter at the rear and sit at one of the pastel tables. Several of the selections include a bowl of wavy packaged ramen improved with a fried egg or a smoky grilled hot dog. There are plenty of pastries and cakes on the menu, too, part of an ambiance aimed at kids’ birthday parties." - Robert Sietsema

"Sweet Cats Cafe, a dessert shop and arcade with a viral following online, is coming to Manhattan. The business is opening its third location in New York City at 21 East 17th Street, near Broadway, Commercial Observer reports. The cafe’s original location is in Fresh Meadows, Queens; it became popular online after expanding to Flushing in 2021. The newest location, in Union Square, opens this fall." - Luke Fortney

"I will literally go into any eatery if it looks interesting, and that was the case last weekend with Sweet Cats Café on Union Turnpike in Hillcrest. The place doubles as a salesroom for pastel-colored stuffed animals, which populate a series of vending machines along one wall, arranged according to color. I think all the animals may have been cats, but it was impossible to tell. The patrons were mainly mothers and daughters." - Robert Sietsema

Cute little cafe with boba, hot appetizers (fries, chicken, etc) and desserts. Came on a Sunday late afternoon with my husband and enjoyed our time there. The place is clean and has a great atmosphere. We ordered at the counter and I had a mango yakult drink, chocolate cake while my husband had a strawberry dessert with waffles and a passion fruit drink. The food and drinks were good but I’m taking 1 star off because the chocolate cake was very dry, and not fresh. It has probably been in the fridge for a couple of days already. Other than that, it was a nice place with good drinks. And the claw machines are too cute!

Google
Looks like the claw machines are gone. The place looks a bit empty. However the food is yummy. I got the popcorn chicken chicken combo and it was delicious. The sauce went great with the crispy chicken bites. I got to pick any drink plus a chocolate dog dessert

For my first time here, this place was absolutely amazing and delicious. Please come here with friends if you want to vibe out while having tasty drinks and food.

For a small neighborhood joint, this cafe does a solid job serving delicious drinks. Favorite is the mango coconut pomelo drink. Can order it to preferred sweetness.

Super pink! Super cute! The fact you can just buy the plushies in the crane games is the icing on the cake ! Nice quiet atmosphere so you its good for going to ki with the girls 🫶🏼🙂‍↔️

Google
What a nice little snack shop hidden on 164th street between the 7-11 and pizza place. Recommended for kids. Got some super sweet strawberry bubble tea. And cake. And a macaroon. They also have some real food snack options like French fries and chicken bites. Didn’t try the stuffed animal vending machines this time.

Fun place! Their food and Boba is so good, have to try it. The store is so cute!!

If you come here I recommend you try the hello kitty & friends ice cream. It’s so delicious. I have never tried such yummy ice cream. This spot plays fire music. 10/10

Yelp
I had a custom cake ordered for a birthday. I made the request by text on a Tuesday, and pickup was ready for Friday. $75 for a custom cake wasn't too bad compared to other places I've ordered from in the past. Due to COVID, I had to text when I was outside. Though she told me the cake would be ready by 2PM, she texted saying it wouldn't be ready until 3PM. Got to the cafe, and they still delayed my pickup a bit later. I finally got the cake around 3:30PM. Nonetheless, the cake was yummy and not too sweet either. Definitely one of a kind!

Yelp
We were walking to the restaurant for dinner last night, came across this cafe that was literally right next door, and the girls were fascinated. We took a quick look inside, got a really nice group pic with their plushie wall decor, and I took my daughter back here today. The cafe is clean, all things pink, nicely decorated and the staff are really nice. There are about 10-12 claw machines with tons of Sanrio plushies as well as some other Pokémon/ Japanese characters. 2 tokens per play. You can either play to win or buy the plush. My daughter played a few times, didn't win, so we just decided to buy the 2 small plushies and the big one. There's also 4 tables & chairs, and a wall bench for you to enjoy your desserts & savory snacks. They have lots of drink & cake options- bubble teas, bubble waffles, crepe cakes, fries, popcorn chicken, takoyaki balls, etc. Maybe we'll give it a try next time. Just an FYI, all their plushies are cute & "looks legit", but however, not sure if they are licensed bc there are no Sanrio original tags, license logo, or anything sewn on them.

Yelp
I assume it used to be better at some point. When you first walk in you don't see any staff because they're below the counter until people come in. It's run down, could be cleaner, the glass door in the front is broken. The Oreo milk tea was good tho and a large size. The one arcade game they have in there now doesn't work. The seating area is cute tho, pink couches.

Christy L.

Yelp
Please fix the time schedule. It's only 5:30pm they are close Friday at this early ... Every other time I come here it always close . ..

Allyson B.

Yelp
A cute place with claw machine and food and boba! It's a nice place on union tpke although the sweets are just okay. I wouldn't go back for a while since there are other dessert places. We spent over $50 on 3 slices of cakes and 3 drinks . We had : Earl grey crepe Ube crepe Matcha crepe Passionfruit tea Coffee latte

S M.

Yelp
New York cheesecake 7/10 decent Bubble milk tea, the bubbles were nice and warm and chewy, pretty good 8/10 Cashier lady was super nice

wilson c.

Yelp
Come here for the claw machine & bubble treat! Popcorn chicken is worth it too! The desserts and drinks are yummy too.

Austin Y.

Yelp
Sweet cats has gone down in my books from year to year. i came here early like couple of years ago and since then the aesthetic of the place has gone down and the quality as well just does not feel the same to me. there used to be more seating options with nice decors and now it is filled with these big jumbo games. The cake we got was good and airy and fluffy. wasn't an extraordinary place but enjoyed the cakes. however after just one night in the fridge and the texture of the cake became hardy therefore not the best experience.

Kathryn K.

Yelp
Amazing crepe cake! Super small place. Not great service but the cake itself was yummy. A bit on the expensive side though. Tiniest macaroon pre-made. 3 bucks. Oiy

Galina K.

Yelp
Very cute aesthetic and good tea! The claw machine are also a very nice aspect as well! ^^

Yelp
The yelp site looks really nice so I decided while I'm in this neighborhood let me pull over and try something interesting like a rainbow crêpe cake. I went in nobody helped me....I saw somebody in the back but they never came to the counter, I waited 10 solid minutes. There were 4 guests inside....nobody ever came to help me (the place was very -very dirty ...fingerprints everywhere ....dirty ....so I left.... I don't recommend it ...especially in this time of Covid ... it needs a deep cleaning.

Sinna J.

Yelp
Great food great atmosphere great music great claw machines. Love coming here the cashier is always so nice and the claw machines are really cute. Service is excellent.

Tobes L.

Yelp
The decor used to be a lot cuter. Snacks are pretty good, and good options on bubble tea. Service on the other hand is why I deduct 2 stars. Always takes a long time to receive my order, and the people who work there always have a stink face. They seem to hate their job there and don't want to give you the time of day.

Anju S.

Yelp
Very cute place, everything is pink and there's cat figures everywhere. I like the decor but the place can surely do a better job at keeping it clean as the seats had stains and hair where I was sitting. Upon walking in there's only 1 customer sitting and the only employee working was very busy on her phone behind the counter! Me and my friend sat down for 25 mins just chatting without ordering anything the employee didn't even notice!! That's how attentive she was. We finally ordered passion fruit green tea, Oreo crepe cake, rainbow crepe cake, and strawberry crepe cake. Drinks are offered in small and large sizes only. Not sure what happened to medium but ya. Small is for $3.50 and large is for $4.50. The drink itself tasted really good and the cakes were all very good in regards to taste. But I don't think so the portion was justified for the price. Paying $6-7 for a piece of crepe cake I except the slices to be bigger. Something creative they have chocolate dog mousse cake for $9 (bit pricey for something small but I guess you are being charged for the artistic work). Definitely creative but I would never eat that as I am a dog mom to a German Shepard. They also customize cakes for special events per individual request. There's a beautiful flower wall great for taking pictures and wings to make you feel like you are ready to fly. The white wings are on the wall when you walk in and also great for taking pictures. Cleanliness is 2 out of 5 (1 is the lowest and 5 the highest). Meter parking is available right on the main road and neighborhood free parking, which you may have to wait for free mins but I was able to find a spot within 2 mins of arrival in the area. The cafe is located within a short walk from St. John's University and across the street from Dunkin Donuts! Overall good selection of drinks, waffles, and cakes but portions can improve. Staff needs to be more attentive even during off peak hours!

Yelp
Visited Sweet Cats Cafe for dessert on a Thursday. It's small and the decor is definitely meant for Instagram, with an ivy wall and angel wing backdrops. They sell a lot of cute little toys too. Ordered an ube crepe cake and a rainbow crepe cake. Both were decent, not too sweet. I liked the cute little cherry blossom spoons they used. The space is cute, food is ok, but nothing really special

Amelia L.

Yelp
Such a cute place! The interior design is very girly. The pink color theme, wall of roses, another wall with angel wings and cats on the walls are the perfect backdrop for taking pictures and posting on social media. Unfortunately, the desserts don't quite live up to the décor. Yes, the desserts are really cute to look at and they do have some interesting flavors. I just wished the desserts tasted better. We ordered a chocolate mousse dog, strawberry cake in a box, a slice of ube mille crepe cake and an ube milk tea drink. I was so excited when I saw the desserts. It looked wonderful in person and I was very impressed with the overall presentation. The chocolate mousse dog was so unusual. I've never seen this dessert offered at any other café or restaurant. It was somewhat creepy but cute at the same time. It's literally a chocolate mousse dessert shaped like a puppy. The details were amazing. Unfortunately, the chocolate mousse tasted so bland. It tasted more like chocolate marshmallows and had the same consistency--not at all like mousse. I wanted more of the chocolate flavor and was very disappointment in this dessert. My only consolation was that I got some cool pictures out of it. The ube crepe cake was okay. The edges were very dry which leads me to believe that it wasn't fresh. The middle part was good though. The ube flavor was subtle and the cream was nice and light. The strawberry cake in a box was nicely packaged. It came in a clear rectangular box with a tiny plastic spoon. The cake itself was nice and moist and the strawberries were fresh. I would order this again. The ube milk tea was very good. This was probably my favorite thing that we ordered here. It had nice flavor, it was not at all watery and it came in a very cute cup. I must say they really care about the presentation of their drinks and desserts here. And as I've already said the restaurant is visually arresting. If I do come back it would be to try out more of their drinks.

Yelp
This cafe screams cuteness and fun the minute you step-in. The pink walls and decor are eye catching indeed, as are the cat stickers and decor all throughout the dining space. There are a few cafe tables for you to sit and enjoy your purchase but depending on time of day, it may be a challenge to score a seat, let alone a clean one. I ventured here with kids in tow and my Yelp Bestie Jo I. I saw her review and thought, hey - let's grab dessert. The kids enjoyed the brief visit - as we arrived just before 9PM, we were told we couldn't really dine in as we ordered. They wanted us to vacate by 9:15PM so they could start closing - btw, they advertise a 9:30PM close. Sadly, bubble waffle desserts were one of the reasons I wanted to come here but the machine was broken! Sad face. Also, they advertised Sago on the menu - that's pretty much tapioca pearls with a fruit or veggie base dessert. Not sure if it's available hot or cold, I forgot to ask - but no matter, it was not available. Doh! Strike two for me. Finally decided to just go for anything - whatever was left in the case. I must say I shopped with my eyes, not my stomach. Of course I had to buy the adorable "Duck" faced mango cup and the "Pig" designed Peach mousse. And who can resist a 12 layer mille crepe? Bought the Oreo and Strawberry flavored ones. One kiddo had to have red velvet...so we grabbed a slice to go as well. I noticed some flavored teas and slushies, given it was a warm evening I opted for a lychee slush. Was sweet and refreshing but by the time I got to the bottom or close to, it was mere ice. I must've drank all the pumped lychee flavoring. I ordered a small...it was indeed small. Other cafes tend to run taller. I was not impressed overall w/ the mille crepe slices especially at $6 a slice. The crepe tasted a bit dry and the choice of flavors didn't really wow me. The Oreo for example, was not consistent per bite. One taste had more chocolate and the other was missing it entirely. So the texture was an issue for me as well. I wish the cream inside was fresher too - so no idea how long these desserts were sitting the case. But like I said, I arrived 30 mins. to close...so it could've been sitting all day for all I know. Skip the peach mousse - it was not light and airy. Not even fluffy for the lack of a better word. The mousse was dense and was more firm in texture, lacked that whipped feeling. Design was adorable but it fails when it doesn't taste right. I gave three stars for the pricing, space and the cool layout. Plus the staff was honest and quick at work. The Crane Skill game and other items for sale was fun to look at as well. But for dessert, skip - go elsewhere.

Yelp
This spot is such a cute instagrammable place. The name itself gives away the love for cats. There's so many cute cat decals and figurines. The decor inside is super cute and worth stopping to take pics with. We all got our favorite flavored teas: I got the mixed fruit tea and thai style tea for my husband. My friends got the rose milk tea and jasmine milk tea. All were delicious and made to perfection. I def plan on coming back here to try more teas and desserts. I also would like to give them a shout out to being super attentive and honest as I forgot my wallet and came back 2 hours later to pick it up. I had a heart attack and was so glad to have left it here because they kept it safe for me. Thank you guys so much!

Yelp
If you love selfies, need more color in your life, and have always wanted diabetes, look no further than SWEET CATS. This place not only serves up delicately handcrafted pastries, but the interior is *highly* Instagrammable. From the window... to the wall... there is literally Fifty Shades of *PINK*. I came here with family during Mother's Day weekend, and I'm already trying to figure out when I'll return to that pink flower wall. Try their mille cakes. The Earl Grey had a subtle tea taste, which blended well with the fresh cream. Meanwhile, the ube mille cake had a nice thick layer of yam in the middle. If you have a little princess with you (or frankly, anyone who has a love for Hello Kitty), get the teapot for 2, which will set you back $9. We chose the grapefruit hot tea. A bit sweet for my liking, but they refilled our pot with hot water upon request. My kids opted for the Oreo egg waffle, which comes topped with ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, and two Pocky sticks. If that description alone already doesn't raise your A1C levels, then check your mouth for cavities. It tasted exactly how you would expect it, based on the description. It'd be nice to come back here for dessert, this is not much of a Savory snack place. However, I also saw that on their menu, they also offer takoyaki so hoping to come back for that. They also offer cakes to go, so I'm hoping to return here to order a cake for my little princess.

Yelp
If you are looking for an adorable decorated little cafe to savor some sweets, delicious Bubble tea or splurge for a hot waffle sundae: this is your place! Located by St Johns university on a quiet section of Union Turnpike, Sweet Cats is a great spot for a little treat, a date, dessert or some photos for the Gram. My daughter loves cafes: she is 4 and this was a dream come true! Pink everywhere, yummy bubble teas or tea party style tea in a Hello Kitty teapot, crepe cakes and waffle sundaes made to order! We had the taro milk tea with bubbles and it was delicious. I thought about it for days to come and wanted to stop on the way home a few times. The workers made us iced tea in the teapot since my daughter doesn't like hot tea and it was an adorable touch. We got the waffle sundae and it was delicious. The fresh, made to order bubble waffle was a nice touch. On another visit, because yes, she's obsessed with going back we got the rainbow crepe cake and it was delicious as well. Their flower wall and angel wings add beautiful decor to this cute little spot and provide great photo opportunities !

Maneetpaul S.

Yelp
Come for the vibes, not the boba. It's very fun and the decor is interesting. Came here with my wife and we enjoyed drinking our boba inside and taking pictures. The boba itself was not amazing. I got the Taro Milk Tea and it was very watered down. My wife got the Brown Sugar Matcha and that was better. The person working was nice but not very talkative when we asked for recommendations. Lastly, we came expecting it to be a little busy on a Saturday but it was empty, and almost awkwardly quiet to sit inside. Overall it's a good boba place but probably won't be coming back.

Avery J.

Yelp
Very Very cute spot for a date. Especially if you're a fan of Bubble tea and chill vibes! We'll Done!

Sabrina L.

Yelp
Came here for dessert last night with my friends. The place is very pink and cute. They had a lot of cats design and lots of flowers. I would say a good date spot to chat. They had a display of desserts and good amount of bubble tea and other tea options. The drinks were a little on the sweet side but I'm sure we could have asked them to make it less sweet. We ordered at the counter. Service was quick. There was a good variety of crepe cakes. We had the strawberry Millie crepe cake, passion fruit Millie crepe, earl grey and ube Millie crepe. The ube I couldn't taste the ube that much. Others had a light touch of flavor which was good. It wasn't overpowering. I wanted to try the rainbow Millie crepe cake but they sold out. I'd like to come back and try it another time.

Patricia C.

Yelp
Good crepes, but the husband and I both agreed that only 3.5 stars should be given. This is because we've had better crepes elsewhere. You should know which place I'm referring to.. which some may say is overrated but they do live up to their name. Rose Crepe Cake Passion Fruit Crepe Cake The Rose flavor is unique and more popular per one of the staff. The husband and I sure enjoyed these layers of goodness while the kids are sleep. It was our weekend treat. I suppose we will continue to buy the crepes here since it's a trek to get to the other place. We have to try the other flavors they have in store! They have other flavors

Amber D.

Yelp
The business hours to this place have been a bit wacky. Not sure if it's due to the pandemic or they've always been that way? I have a slight obsession with boba tea and anything pink and girly. This place tiks off all my boxes. They take credit/debit which is awesome. Their bubble teas are yummy. Not too far from my house which I'm grateful for. They also have a small parking lot in the back!! 100% my favorite boba spot in the neighborhood!

Daniel F.

Yelp
When I saw Cat Cafe, I was super excited. I don't know why... I'm extremely allergic to cats. However, there aren't any real cats here at all. Just a bunch of fake displays but really cute displays though. There are decorated walls that are very Instagramable such as Angel Wings and a wall full of flowers. Their bubble tea tastes great, the cups are cute and even has a stopper to prevent spills. They have ice cream in the ever so popular chinese waffle cones as well.

Cree P.

Yelp
This place is definitely a cute café and I'm glad that I live so close by. The interior is beautifully decorated and is also very photogenic so if you want to do a cute little photo session, while enjoying some tea you definitely can. I also like that their drinks are pretty unique, especially their tricolor drink called the galaxy drink, which is three different layers: one being yakult (this Japanese yogurt drink) and then you could also choose either passionfruit a grapefruit, and I'm not sure what the blue layer is I think like a soda of some sort because it looks a little carbonated. In addition, their desserts are also really cute and pretty good as well. Last time I was there I got the rose crêpe cake, which was very nice and light. I'll definitely be frequenting this place because it's so conveniently close to my house and I live for bubble tea.

Becky L.

Yelp
Highlights: Super cute flower wall, clean bathroom, and menu has a wide variety I would not go out of my way just to try this place but since I was in the area I seized an instagramable opportunity. I like the set up of the cafe and the overall ambiance. The noise level is casual so I was able to do some work on my laptop (I would not do serious studying here). Another bonus is the fact that they have a private bathroom in the back which was pretty clean.

Harris L.

Yelp
This place is very pink and flowery, with flowers, angel wings, and a whole bunch of cat stickers on the walls. It's a cute neighborhood dessert place to take young kids, or maybe a date. The crepe cakes here are pretty good, priced less expensively than competitors in Flushing (due to smaller slices), and served with cute flower-petal metal spoons. The café also sells full cakes for $60 as of April 2018, with each cake containing 12 slices; equivalent to buying 5 slices and getting the sixth for free. I would really like to see Sweet Cats stock higher-quality coffees and teas to complement the higher-end nature of its desserts. Although this establishment is directly across from Dunkin' Donuts and one block away from another bubble tea shop, Sweet Cats has an opportunity to differentiate itself from the artificiality of its neighbors' offerings. Service: Good (3 of 5) Food: Very Good (4 of 5), for the crepe cakes. Atmosphere: Very Good (4 of 5). Playful, cute, and engaging. The café could be a little more mindful of dust, especially on the tea cup set by the window. Value: Very Good (4 of 5)

Jessica D.

Yelp
During the Winter of 2018, my friends and I came here for dessert and drinks after dinner in the neighborhood. Very pink and very cute place, and lots of cat decorations specifically Hello Kitty. There were barely any customers when we came, so we had the place to ourselves mostly. We tried the crepe cakes since they looked very delightful. The crepe cakes were okay in my opinion, not the best I've had. Although, I was happy to see they came in an assortment of flavors: passionfruit, mango crepe, Earl Grey crepe, durian crepe, and etc. Overall, I thought this cafe was cute and adorable and it's sad that they're closed. I felt it was just a typical cafe in terms of food and beverages. I don't recall them making any kind of coffee or lattes.

Cat D.

Yelp
Yet another themed cafe...I allowed for them to take my money! Anything with a gimmick always gets me. It was super cute -- girly pink everything, cat decor everywhere, a wall of flowers, a cherry blossom tree, and a set of wings. All very picturesque and of course...Instagram worthy. I mean, that's what it's all about, right? I ordered a few things just to start what I could for my review: - Chocolate Milk Tea - Almond Milk Tea - Rose Crepe Cake - Chocolate Crepe Cake All were delicious. I enjoyed them all. The tea was good - not watered down, and the boba in it was perfect. The desserts were pretty and they tasted great! They mainly serve dessert here. I'm wondering if they'll add savory food to the menu. I will be coming back to try other things on their menu and report back :)

Yerin Elisa K.

Yelp
I came here on a spur with 2 of my girlfriends because we had some time to kill before meeting up with another one of our friends. But boy, I'm glad we decided to check out this place! Interior is super cute and I can tell they work really hard to maintain every detail of the decor. It's also a very cute place to take pictures (and upload on instagram). As for the food, I only tried the Nutty almond bubble waffle but it was a sweet tooth's heaven :'). They worker said she would take around 15 min to prepare it which wasn't a problem, and when she presented it to me, it was perfectly picture-worthy and delicious hahaha! I would definitely come back and try the bubble tea next time~

Candace L.

Yelp
Came here today during their soft opening to buy the happy hour bubble tea for $1 from 4-6pm Monday to Thursday, which is a great deal, especially for St. John's students because of its close proximity. It's just across the Dunkin' Donuts in case you're craving milk tea instead of coffee. The happy hour deal is only for the medium original bubble milk tea (there are 2 sizes-- it's the smaller one) and I believe the coffee as well. There's a sign for the happy hour at the storefront but it was misleading for me, my friend, and a customer who came in after us because several different drinks were shown along with the happy hour deal. However, the milk tea was good, especially compared to the one from St. John's campus. It's not her the best bubble tea in New York but it is good for the area here. The bubbles were soft and the milk tea was not too sweet. There was a lot of ice, so next time I would ask for less ice or none at all, especially in this weather. They have cakes on display as well. Even though I didn't have a chance to try them, they look appetizing. The decorations are cute -- So much pink, a set of wings and flowers on the wall to take pictures in front of, cats on the wall, and small plants by the window.

Hui L.

Yelp
Swung by on my way home to pick up a medium bubble tea during their $1 special from 4-6pm. They tend to run out of the $1 milk tea special towards 5:30 so come here early for it! The shop is very cute and perfect for pictures! I especially loved the cat themed figurines that were all over the shop. The floral wall is soo pretty. Got my order quickly and was out just as fast. The milk tea is average for a bubble tea place. Bubbles were soft. Milk tea wasn't the sweetest; a bit watery in flavor actually probably due to the amount of ice they included (about 1/3 of the cup was ice) Glaxy Yakult Mango- the colors are pretty for sure. Taste wise it tasted like mango yakult. Nothing mind blowing. The star jellies were cute though.

Adrianna D.

Yelp
The boba was great & there was a variety of options. I got the brown sugar frappe with tapioca. The place is very cute & it was aesthetically pleasing!

Alice Q.

Yelp
cute aesthetic and comfy place. the service is great and would definitely come back soon! i would recommend getting the popcorn chicken or crepe cakes.

Jenny G.

Yelp
Love it here! It's a cute little cafe with cherry blossoms and an arcade. Everything is pink and pretty. I've had a few things off the menu: popcorn chicken & fries, rainbow cake, mango slushie drink, and waffle cup. Rainbow cake is my favorite not too sweet. Cutest little hello kitty to go bags !

Kitty H.

Yelp
I went there on a weekday 3:30 PM with my family, including my two and five years old children. Meter parking was no problem and I parked right outside the store. There may be residential parking on the small streets but I didn't bother because of my young kids. When I first walked in, it was crowded and noisy. Groups of high school/college kids were hanging out. Luckily there was no rude languages. They occupied 90% of the seats and stayed for a long time. I managed to squeeze my family into the last two seater small table. No high chair in sight but I didn't ask. People came afterwards were out of luck for any seats. Food was ok. The Rose layered cake was flavorful. I also ordered Black Forest cake and original layered cake. Bubble tea lacked tea flavor. Seating was uncomfortable for me that day due to lack of table space and noisy crowd. The decor was pink and flowery but I couldn't enjoy it in peace. I just wanted to finish eating and get out. Staff was friendly and efficient. Credit card excepted but cash will save you some money. Conclusion: Probably won't return. There are a few bakery/ bubble tea places opened up in the same neighborhood. I plan to move on and try others.

Cecilia O.

Yelp
I love the flavor teas they have here. My favorite go to is peach and passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly! So yummy Also if you are in the mood for a piece of crepe cake this is the place to try. Everything is delicious

I ordered the 2 rainbow crepe cakes and a large mango green tea. Everything came out to around $20 ($7 per cake). The place is cute and they have a decent amount of seating for a small cafe. I think the cake this time was better than the very first time I went, perhaps this one was fresher than the last time I got it. The cream is light and tasty, the mango green tea was a bit on the sweet side for me, but when some of the ice melted, it was good. It's a bit pricy so I won't go here every time I want sweets lmao but it's pretty good. I counted 23 layers on my cake :) My cat approves.

Yelp
Dessert spot with super cute, social media-worthy picture posts! I've only tried one dessert (a yummy green tea mille cake) and it as to go. I didn't give all 5 stars yet because I need to properly check this place out - I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
This place a fun place filled with Cats, Pink, and Smiles which is a perfect pick me up for a gloomy day. Come here for the Asian Bubble Tea drinks, the Bubble Waffle Ice Cream and the Hello Kitty tea set! The food and drinks were well prepared and the seating was comfortable. They have light snacks but there are plenty of real food options nearby / across the street. They also make custom cakes (albeit priced high because of the complexity and ingredients used).

Yelp
After trying milk bubble tea around the area, it taste better from this store. Sometimes they run out of bubbles. They also have bubble waffles /egg waffles, fries, and other snacks. It's quiet here so you won't wait too long.

Yelp
When I found this spot on Yelp, I was pretty excited because the decor looked cute and the desserts looked amazing. However, when I got there, I was honestly disappointed. When I got there, you can choose to sit down or order to go by the cash register. I decided to sit and order my dessert. They had a menu and everything looked really good. I decided to get the Oreo Crepe Cake. When I walked up to order, I saw the cakes in the fridge and it looked WAY smaller than what I saw in the pictures. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and paid the $6. I saw the cashier take the cake out and put it on the side but I waited atleast 5 minutes for her to simply place it on a plate and give it to me. Even when she did give it, she didn't even announce that it was ready; she didn't say anything at all. I took my first bite and the cake did not taste fresh, especially the cream. I tasted a lot of oreo, but that was it. The crepe didn't seem to have a lot of flavor. Overall, I am just disappointed in the cake. I would rather spend a little more money to get a better tasting crepe cake from Lady M or somethin

Yelp
This place is only nice to take photos for aesthetic and that's about it. Place is known for their waffle ice cream and they ran out. Also they didn't have any other desserts available which was so odd to me. Stay away from the milk teas, they aren't good. Only get the flavored teas. But even the flavored teas are very bland. Their bubble tea is just not good. Loved the way the place looked but they really need to amp their game and get it together!

Yelp
This is a cute cafe and they have a large selection of crepe cakes in very Instagrammable cafe. I had the rainbow crepe cake and my friend had the I've crepe cake and we both finished it within a few minutes. They were delicious! The flavor isn't too strong but it's not too bad or too sweet, which is pretty nice. I also got their bubble milk tea. I was kinda sad that the milk tea is already pre-sugared so you can't adjust the amount of sugar you'd want in it. This means that one slice of cake and the bubble tea would leave you in a sugar rush. The cafe has a decent amount of seating and we found that on a Thursday afternoon it was relatively empty, despite it being across from St. John's. One of the most annoying things is that the door stays ajar a little whenever someone enters so there's a cold draft of you sit by the door so if it's empty try to sit as close as you can to the cashier!

Yelp
Checked this place out with my wife and have to say that it is VERY photogenic. I heard "this is sooo cute" multiple times throughout our visit. I must admit that the decorations were very picturesque and the decor was very inviting. The dessert was pretty good as well. We got the chocolate crepe cake, the mango crepe cake, and a Taro Milk Bubble Tea. Though the mango crepe cake has big shoes to fill with Prince Tea House's mango crepe cake being my favorite, it held its own. Tastes pretty good but comes with a really sweet mango sauce drizzle that I probably will do without next time around. Can also do without the excess unsweetened cocoa powder on top of the chocolate crepe cake as well. Would still order them both again, though. Service is kind of weird. Not sure if they don't do table service regularly (we were there around closing time), but it was awkward exchanging looks with staff with neither of them approaching us to take our order. I ended up going up to the counter to order as well as to pick up my order. The place also has signs all over the restaurant to clean up after themselves, which isn't uncommon but it was posted in a lot more places than usual.

Yelp
I haven't gone inside this store but my boyfriend ordered 2 crepe cakes to go. I was craving something sweet and he happened to be around the area so I checked for any dessert places that I would like. I came across Sweet Cats and was immediately attracted to all the different crepe cake flavors. They had so many different flavors that what Lady M offers. I knew I wanted to try the Purple Yam and the Rose one so I had my boyfriend get both. When he got back, he also said that they had a lot of other desserts that looked equally delicious. Maybe I need to stop by this place in person to really check it out. Anyways I went for the Purple Yam crepe cake first and was surprised by how fluffy the texture was. The crepes itself, weren't thick at all and had the same consistency as the Lady M cakes. The cream was also very light and delicious. I think the best part of the entire slice was that it wasn't super sweet at all. I was able to finish the entire cake slice because it wasn't too sweet! I'll be trying the Rose crepe cake later today and I can't wait!

Yelp
Everything is pink! And so adorable with cute figurines and stuffed animals and adorable cat pictures everywhere. The main reason to come here is the crepe cakes. (Not as good as Lady M. Whose slices are bigger and has a stronger flavor). But Sweet cat's crepe cakes come pretty close. It also comes in some usual flavors like durian, rose, oreo and earl grey. I was there, celebrating a friend's birthday and treated her to some cake. The staff was helpful, friendly and were nice enough to bring the cake over to our table with a lit candle in it. My friend was delighted at the surprise. The crepe cake was so good. They put slices of different flavors together to create a whole cake. You know I gotta try them all. I could eat several slices of it. Gosh I need to jog around the block now. Oreo flavor was pretty tasty stuff. Green tea flavor is my favorite. Enough matcha on there to keep me happy but I could always use more. (Like at Lady M). Rose flavor. Just ok to me. Too perfumey like. Its an acquired taste. My friend loved it though. Mango flavor was also pretty good. Ube flavor. A pretty unusual flavor. Seemed a little bland to me. I wouldn't order it again. It's a pretty purple color though. Slice sizes. They are a bit smaller (and less expensive) than a competitor's but still yummy. For drinks they mostly have bubble tea drinks, which I have not tried. Because it would be sweet on sweet. It would be nice if they served good quality regular teas. That would go great with sweet cakes. If you are going there to buy cakes, remember to use the Yelp voucher deal and save $6. If you are in the area, definitely come on by, rest those dogs and have some crepe cake. It's a nice relaxing atmosphere, covered in cute Kawaii.
