A variety of apparel is available for purchase which includes sweatshirts, canvas bags, and kicks. Feel free to purchase apparel ranging from hats to sweatshirts. As a bonus, this chain restaurant has an enclosed indoor hallway which effectively keeps the cold air out during the chillier months. The food was ok. The service was good. The atmosphere was alright. I dined in. The pricing was outrageous. How do you charge an operational fee? I'm paying an additional fee on top of my food for you to stay in business? That's what it seems like. Anyway, I ordered the cinnamon apple waffle with 2 pieces of bone in chicken (fried chicken wing and thigh). I got the meal and they gave me their honey berry butter that was good. The maple syrup was terrible. I love syrup so I dont know what happened here (maybe it just didn't go right with my particular order). I ordered the garlic sauce on the side and that was good. I don't like that they don't have their nutritional information up on their website.

The food was delicious! 😋 The wings were tender and juicy. The loaded fries were yummy and plentiful. The shrimps 🍤 and grits is my go to. Seasoned perfectly and the grits are so creamy. The mago passion fruit lemonade was delightful. Will definitely get it again. We enjoyed our dinner on a very chill Tuesday evening after a long day at the studio, thank you.

The atmosphere and music at this location is awesome! The workers were really chill and nice too and gave me recommendations of what to get. Their sandwiches were delicious, I got the Nashville Hot and it was spicy and well cooked. Also their hush puppies are so good with their remoulade sauce. My friend got the wings and said they were tough though, so I would be cautious about ordering those.

Decent. The chicken tenders were great w the maple sauce. the chicken burger was probably the driest one i’ve ever had in my life. Might go back - currently undecided.

We ordered The Original Chicken & Waffles, and Chicken & Fries, and a couple of their Daily Lemonades. I chose Peach Nectar Lemonade and Mango Nectar Lemonade, and the mango one had stronger flavor, and it tasted like made with real fruits. Chicken & Fries It comes with 2pc. bone-in or 3pc. boneless chicken. Marcus told me that 3pc is like chicken tenders, and I chose the 3pc thinking that it is easier to eat. I asked Marcus which sauce flavor is his favorite, and he said Maple Chipotle is the best. He also asked me if I wanted the sauce on the side for dipping, instead of the chicken being coated in it. He told me that is how he prefers, so I went with that recommendation. He was so helpful with my order, making sure I was taken care of and happy with what I was getting. The Maple Chipotle sauce was really delicious. Sweet with a nice kick to it. Chicken was tender and moist, juicy with nice crunchy exterior. I was happy to see the side of fries being the crinkle cut fries, reminded me of the good old days... They were soft, potato-y, and very tasty. My husband was excited for The Original Chicken & Waffles. He chose the sauce flavor and waffles, which was both available with additional cost. He went with Maple Chipotle flavor sauce and Bacon Cheddar Specialty Waffles. And we got this one with 2pc. bone-in pieces. The bone-in chicken pieces were definitely more flavorful. It had that deep, savory flavor that you can only get with the bone-in chicken. And they were super juicy delicious! I think the chicken does not need any extra flavor added, since it was tasty on its own. Same can be said for the waffles. The waffles were tasty on its own, so I don't think the sprinkles of bacon and cheese was not necessary. Their special butter, however, was amazing! It was Honey and Berry Butter, and that was super awesome! Our first trip to the Sweet Chick was a success! Thank you Marcus for making our visit easy and tasty. We enjoyed our orders, definitely bone-in chicken, and don't need additional fancy flavors... Or maybe get one side of Maple Chipotle sauce to dip in. The wait staff was questionable. Only one girl was actually working while the other seemed like I was bothering her. There is an operating surcharge that is outrageous. The waffle was amazing! Perfectly cooked. Crispy n fluffy at the same time. The chicken was okay. However, the mac n cheese was the most bland mac n cheese I ever had in my life. Barely seasoned at all. Becareful with you sauce choice because thr staff doesn't explain if they are spicy or not. The honey garlic still had a small kick to it.

My friend and I came because we heard their chicken and waffles were spectacular and it did not disappoint. Everything tastes amazing. They have the best fried chicken that I've ever had to date (and trust me, I've had lots of fried chicken ). The limited edition Carrot Cake Waffles were fantastic as well. The flavors were all there without it being overly sweet. The 3 piece bucket was awesome as well, with fairly large wings that were fried and seasoned perfectly. The drinks were both PHENOMENAL. We had the Strawberry Frozen and the Whiskey Peach Can, and both were just so delicious and refreshing. The only thing we weren't a big fan of was the butter included for the biscuits. It was a bit too sweet. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't like the way it paired with the food. Portions and pricing was great, especially considering we were in the Union Square area of Manhattan. One thing to note is that this location doesn't have waiter service; you order and choose your seating, and then pick up your order when they call your name. Nothing wrong with this approach, but we had expected to have a waiter. Regardless of this, the customer service was amazing. The staff were attentive and welcoming, and worked diligently.

The simple fried chicken at Sweet Chick is always a solid option. It's a fast casual spot with some seats. There are a lot of take out orders so if you don't order ahead it might take 10-15 minutes for your order to arrive. Good quick option by Union Square!

I was recommended this place and tried out the BBQ Sandwich. It had a LOT of BBQ sauce, which I wasn't a big fan of. I also had the biscuit and it was so good! It wasn't as salty as Popeyes, and came with a side of jam & butter. Definitely would go back to try another sandwich and fries.

This was my first time here. I ordered the Nashville HOT sandwich with fries! Everything tasted great and had a lot of flavor! I'd definitely come back!

Chicken was good, fries were nothing special. Pricey for 3 of us. My biggest complaint is $6 for a small cup of lemonade, when I asked for a refill they declined, they said refills for soda only. I asked if I could refill with sprite, lady asked did you pay for a soda. I said no I paid $6 for ice lemonade. I said ok thank you and threw my cup away. Then she said well you can get half a cup. It was just an odd experience all for refill, when you pay over $75. You would think they could spare a small refill. Just a bad customer experience left me not wanting to return

Is it a trip to NY without stopping at Sweet Chick? I usually go to the locations in Brooklyn so this location was a bit more lowkey. The service was quick and honestly the food is just as phenomenal as the other locations. I got the Nashville hot chicken which pairs really well the sweetness of the waffle. Unfortunately, the frosé was WAYYY too sweet this day, I couldn't even finish it.

Music bussin, staff was help and portions were healthy. Bone in was juicy and the sliders were perfect for the littles. Will come back to try the drinks

I've been to the location in Prospect Heights, but I didn't realize there was one near Union Square. My colleagues like ordering from there, so I decided to get a salad. I got their Sweet Chick salad with lemon pepper flavoring for the chicken. You can get it grilled or fried--I opted for fried. I also got their half iced tea and half lemonade (Arnold Palmer). The drink was refreshing. I really liked the salad. The avocado was really green, and the chicken was nicely fried. I also like the flavor of the crispy onions. The restaurant is small. I haven't dined in yet, but they have happy hour (one of the employees was trying to encourage us to try their HH drinks), so maybe one of these days, I'll partake in a HH drink in the restaurant.

I thought the chicken sandwich was good but not so good that I need to come back. There was a wait when we got there a few weeks ago but we were able to get a seat. Inside it was nice and friendly. The food came out quickly and the staff were friendly. It was a nice place but probably not worth going back again.

Lets start off by saying I love sweet chick. The food is amazing but abit expensive for chicken and waffles. My lunch was 32 with a lemonade which is also very tasty but crazy pricey. The vibe here is always good. The place is super clean and well lit. The music is always good sounds like they have a dj in there. This service is always on point. My lunch is always ready on time for pick up. And I never been disappointed today was my third time eating it my co workers say you got your fav again.

This was a late night bite that we had and for my first time, it did not meet my expectations. The carrot cake waffles (9/10) were the star of the show. My apple waffles came out very cold and slightly burned. The chicken was good (7/10). I would not come back to this location, it was extremely dirty as the tables were not being tended to as people left, the floor looked like it hadn't been swept all week, etc. We only stayed due to the high recommendation but guess we chose the wrong location to try for a first impression

Got the BLT with fried chicken sandwich. Flavor is not bad. But I wish the portion is bigger. Fries are standard. Nice staff. Self service.

This was my second visit to Sweet Chick, my first visit was at the seat-down location, which has since closed, in California. My husband and I have been eager to return and recently got the chance when I purchased tickets to a Broadway play in NYC. While the food was good, this experience was definitely different than the first. This location is tiny, which is understandable since it is located in NYC. However, the restaurant being so small should make it easier to keep clean, but that isn't the case. The tables were not wiped down when patrons left. The tables are right on top of each other too, so you basically are dining with whoever is sitting next to you. Also, again with the space being so small, there were groups of young, loud kids loitering, taking seats away from paying customers. The food was good, but I could hardly enjoy it due to the conditions in the restaurant. It is also overpriced. The staff was nice, I guess, a bit distracted by nice. In the future, I will look to visit another location, bigger and cleaner!

Today i tried this place out and got the nashville chicken tenders. To say they were absolutely disgusting is putting it mildly. It tasted like pure salt, while the heat was fine and the inside was tender, that ridiculously salty as heck seasoning made the dish completely inedible. I had one tender, then ate the fries and threw the other tenders in the garbage, Summary: Waste of time and calories and money, food is oversalted and gross. Avoid it.

The place has little seating, most people were doing take out. Staff is friendly. I got the chicken and fries with the honey soy garlic. The chicken was very good, fries were ughh not that good. The waffles and bbq chicken tenders were good. The mango lemonade was refesh

Food was okay, but very pricy. Was expecting a tad bit more on freshness and flavor. Ordered chicken biscuit, chicken sandwich, fries, mac and a lemonade. Biscuit was okay, very dense. The chicken sandwich was just okay. Mac & cheese had a good topping on it, and a lot of cheese. Different from what I was expecting, but pretty good. Lemonade was okay, very sweet. Team was nice and the place was clean. Shout out to them for that. I'll give them another try, saw some blueberry waffles that look good.

Stopped in for an early lunch. This is a very small restaurant, with very limited seating. However, since it was just after 11AM, it was empty. I ordered Tenders & Fries. Price is a little high, but it's just a few steps off of Union Square, so bargains shouldn't be expected. The food took a bit longer than it could have, considering it was an easy order. But I did see they were also preparing a large to-go order at the same time, so that could explain the prep time. When I got my food, I was pleasantly surprised. The Tenders were huge, and hot too. They were soft and tender. Delicious. The Fries order was humongous. Delicious. Worth the money spent. The place was spotlessly clean, maybe because it was early and empty, but spotless. The bathroom was also very clean. I will return next time I'm in the area.

Subpar to chick-fil-a quality at nearly double the cost- would skip coming here. I got the bbq chicken sandwich and the bbq sauce was too tangy and cloying. Fried chicken was standard. Bun tasted and has the texture of a grocery store bun. Woman employee wasn't very friendly. Ambiance was quick service/casual.

Hi! Had the pleasure of going to sweet chick to get one of the classic chicken and waffle combos. I got the crispy chicken bone in with soy garlic and the waffle nice and fluffy with there vanilla glaze. Lady at the register was kind and helped me out when I made a mistake on my order. Alittle pricier got it all for 24 bucks but quality was there!

This is totally a fancy fast food joint where the staff are friendly and patient - totally kid friendly but the way!! I got the chicken sandwich , mac and cheese, chicken tenders, lemonade and an Arnold Palmer! It was yummy! And to top it all off - they have an ice cream soft serve machine!!! The dining room is small space with like 9- 10 tables of twos :(

It is a shame. I have to leave this terrible review because the food is actually decent. But two things have made me completely changed my mind and say that I will never go here again and no one else should either. 1. I was halfway through my side of grits when I felt something stabbed me in the mouth. I pulled out a 1 inch long piece of what I believe to be either glass or plastic that had cut the inside of my mouth. I took photos of this object and called the store immediately. The girl on the phone said that she would refund me. I just went to look and she did not refund the complete order, only that one item. This is the kind of thing where I could've been that person that sued the store for this. Customer service is a -complete- refund. And a very long talk with the staff in the back about how they are not being careful about their food prep. And I am saying this is someone who worked in food service for a lot of years. Also, I emailed the photos and got no reply. Total lack of concern. 2. When I went to purchase my food, I saw there was an additional dollar charge for a fee. When I asked what the fee was, the girl just pointed to a little tiny sticker by the register. That said there is now going to be an operational fee on every transaction. So they're not raising their prices. They're just throwing a fee at you for no reason. I'm sorry eat that cost yourself. Don't force that onto your customers. That's another reason why this place will never get my business again. They're clearly shady at this location. I will be going to every other location, but only if their management contacts me and refunds the complete amount of my order after getting the sharp object in my food.

Chicken & waffles are preferred but I recommend the Caesar salad they have. The mac & cheese is amazing with Brussel sprouts. Great seating.

Spicy Honey Chicken Biscuit : very good, sweet and spicy always delicious combination. Nashville HOT Chicken Sandwich : very good. The spicy kick was real. Jalapeno Hush Puppies : good but not much jalapeno taste. Would definitely come back! Love this new spot in Union Square.

I visited this establishment to try the Carrot Cake Waffles since they are a limited time item on the menu until the end of March. The Carrot Cakes Waffles are delicious and the Fried Chicken complimented the waffles well. I enjoyed my meal and I hardly needed any syrup since the waffles are amazing. Lloyd's Carrot Cake is definitely doing their thing partnering up with Sweet Chick. The cashier was very friendly. The establishment was very busy since it was a nice day in Union Square. I also like the selection of music that plays in the restaurant. It creates a nice vibe. I enjoyed my meal and the lemonade was very tasty. I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.

Sweet Chick just opened their 5th NYC location, the 1st one as a fast casual setup rather than the full service situation they have at the previous ones. It's pretty much the same great menu of fried chicken in all forms (bone-in, tenders, sandwiches), along with waffles, great fries and a number of sides. New to this location is an amazing Maple Soft Serve and mini pies that come in easy to-go containers. This is a perfect new quick lunch/dinner option in the Union Square area and hopefully the first of many more of this style of Sweet Chick.

I've had Sweet Chick on my list for years and when I heard they opened a Manhattan location I was thrilled. We came on a Saturday afternoon after exploring the Holiday Market. Thankfully there were seats available (there was 6 of us). I decided to order the classic chicken and waffles. The rest of the group ordered salads and chicken biscuit sandwiches. We waited about 10-15 mins for our orders. The chicken and waffles hit the spot. They even provided regular butter and berry butter! Perfect combo of sweet and salty. I also had ordered a lemonade. Probably would have just stuck with water next time in regards to beverage cause the lemonade was a bit too tart for my taste.

A great movie snack! I got the chicken BLT and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have also ordered from this restaurant on ubereats and I think it tastes a lot better when you pick it up in person

The food is amazing, we had the chicken sandwich with their home made ranch dressing. The dressing alone, i can put it on everything they have on the menu. The fried chicken is tender, juicy, moist, crispy, is like i was in fried chicken heaven. The remoulade dressing, was not to my liking and while i am not a ranch dressing lover. That has now changed, thanks to Sweet Chick! The hush puppies were also well fried and when you dip them on the ranch dressing, well thats just at another level in flavor town. I am ok with the waffle, i think its just a filler, hands down the chicken is first class, all the way ! I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu, without a doubt i will be back. I feel sorry for the rest of the fried chicken places, cause Sweet Chick, is definitely going to give them a run for the money. I love popeye chicken sandwich and Chick filet but moving forward thingns wont be the same. Now my gripe, one single bathrooms. Any time you eat fried chicken, you all know you have to wash your hands, the wait and the line for the bathroom was ridiculous. Should have a sink just for hand washing available. The layout of the tables is not conducive to the space. The 1 garbage station they have is not set properly. If you have a tray full of garbage, you should have to touch your garbage to mKe it fit in the round hole at the countertop. Instead, the tray should be feed right into the bin, so just when i didnt want to touch my garbage, i had to. No other way to do it. They dont have enough staff to clean the tables, i had to clean my table. Lots of sticky stuff like maple syrup and ketchup all over the table. Dont get me wrong the staff is very nice but not enough staff to clean. Cool music and the vibes are nice, will come back for the food, but the clean up needs reworking so its less of a mess.

Sweet Chick has always been in my mind as a modern NYC staple. Where do you want chicken and waffles? Sweet Chick. This restaurant has expanded to a few locations and I saw they had one near my workplace. Now I'm a big Nashville Hot Chicken fan so I went to see if they made a mean sandwich. The chicken is superb - probably the best texture I've encountered. The bun could be more buttery, but I could gnaw on butter raw so my preferences are a bit skewed. I'm used to a flavorful pickle with a hint of sweetness and a flavor profile with more depth of spice vs the red hot packets given in addition to the sandwich. They included some fries which were absolutely top tier so I'd definitely go back, but maybe bring my own butter next time. Overall the service was good considering there were a few people in line and the space is cute. I'm still searching for the nashville hot chicken that seizes my heart but this gets pretty close.

Loved the super casual, relaxed atmosphere and especially the friendly and helpful employees. That aside it was fairly dim in the restaurant and with it getting dark at like 5pm nowadays would've loved just a little more light but I suppose that might just be the vibe of the chain. The jalapeño hush puppies were the best of the menu wow. For seven dollars I really wish they were bigger or there were more but flavor wise, paired with the remoulade sauce, so good. I was worried they'd be grainy because I was told they were made of cornmeal but that was not the case at all. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. Touch of jalapeño flavor, not too much not too little. Mac and cheese was okay. I can't quite place what it reminded me of but if you imagine any white shell pasta it's very similar. Fries I really did not like. They got cold instantly and felt like eating cardboard. Also just bland, could've done with some more salt. My friend on the other hand said she liked them but they were a hard no for me. Nashville hot fish looked so unassuming initially. I totally expected it to be red or something so when it looked like any ol regular fish I was like did they get my order wrong. But upon taking a bite I could taste the spice and it was definitely there. This was good for sure! The fish was thick and there was alot in it. It was very messy but thankfully there's a bathroom. About the bathroom, patrons here are gross as hell and clearly no one cleans up after themselves because the first time I went in to wash my hands there was urine all over the toilet. Second time I went in I overhear someone say "you forgot to flush the toilet" to their friend and lo and behold pee everywhere. Bro what???? Really gross lol. Monday through Friday from 4-7 they have happy hour and sell two sliders of fish or chicken for 8 bucks. There's drinks too but idk what kind so that's something to check out if you're into it. Loved that their menu was extremely vegetarian friendly and will absolutely be back to try a bunch of other things in the future!

You don't often get a vegetarian fried chicken sandwich, so I so appreciate how Sweet Chick has a veggie option for nearly every menu option. I tried the vegetarian chicken biscuit and it was the perfect blend of salty and sweet. The chicken was crispy and wasn't coated in too much batter, and the biscuit was so flaky & delicious. There was also an option for impossible sausage if you're looking for other vegetarian breakfast sandwiches, but I don't think any of the options are fully vegan. The biscuit had maybe a bit too much honey butter on it making the sandwich overall feel pretty heavy; but hey, I didn't come here for a healthy meal. The interior of this location is very casual, you order and pay before you're seated. It's also right across the street from Union Sq park so it's convenient to grab food here and eat outside on a nice day!

Split an order of chicken tenders + fries and hot honey dipped chicken sandwich. Both were great and the hot honey chicken especially juicy, literally oozing juice from the first bite. The tenders were tasty but a bit dry (guessing made in a bigger batch) . Would definitely come back

The customer service was amazing Ella was very nice . I ordered the wrong macaroni and cheese. She changed it for me and didn't charge me.. I do think it should say shell mac & cheese because it's not the original elbow mac & cheese . The chicken was amazing. The waffle was good mac & cheese. I gave her three out of 10. I would go back definitely for the customer service and the chicken and waffle .

Just flew under my radar. In this "war" of chicken sandwiches this place (and apparently a chain) definitely has the rights to brag . Excellent Nashville HOT (fair not that hot...) sandwich, well portioned and fresh. Great and very generous loaded fries . Hard to decide among the many good ones But if you around one it's a very good bet.

As I lifted the fried chicken to my mouth I got a whiff of an unappetizing smell and realized it was the coating. I removed it and tried to eat the chicken thigh. This was definitely not organic chicken. It was my first taste of chicken and waffles and I had wasted nearly $20 for this dreadful meal. Thd bacon and cheddar waffles got soggy as soon as I smeared some of the flavored butters on it. I skipped the maple syrup. I barely had any lunch. So went a few doors down to eat at Breads Bakery. The interior is quite big and there is outdoor seating and a unisex restroom. The server taking the orders was friendly but I won't be returning even if someone paid me

So excited this place opened right next to me! They have a variety of options including brunch, chicken and waffle classics, sandwiches, sides and salads..All at a fair price. I will say $26 for a Caesar salad ($13) and side of broccoli ($8) and a drink ($4.50) was more than I was expecting but it was all really good and definitely worth it. If you sit in you get really nice dinnerware too! Alex the district manager overheard that they gave us a Caesar when my friend ordered the sweet chick salad and she came up to us and put in another order!!! Super sweet. Love it. Will be frequenting this place for lunch. def interested in trying the sweet chick bucket for only $16.

This is my second time at sweet chick but my first time at this location. The food here is great! I got the BBQ Chicken sandwich and an Arnold Palmer. The chicken sandwich had jalapeños which I loved and a good amount of bbq sauce as well. The Arnold Palmer was very refreshing as well, especially on a warm day. The service was pretty good. It's an order at the counter type of situation, but everyone was friendly. The places itself was nice , but there wasn't a ton of open seating which was a big downside. Luckily we found a table, but we had to share with other people we didn't know because it was all that was available. Overall the food is really good, but I personally think it's a little pricey for the amount you get. However I would come back to try more of the menu.

Mac and cheese is bland - get some ranch to help Service is quick, and it looks like a regular place inside

Uhh YUM! I'm not sure why I didn't tried Sweet Chick sooner, seeing as I'm on the hunt for the best fried chicken. The Spicy Honey Butter Chicken Buttermilk Biscuit is to die for. The chicken is so tender and far from dry as so many other places are. && you really can't beat the prices for this quality. I will definitely be coming back.

Very mid food and overpriced. Paid $28 for a chicken sandwich, a side of Mac and cheese, and a coke. Food took 25 minutes to come out and was sitting on the counter for a long time they just kept on bringing out other peoples ordered that ordered after me. Chick fil a is better. Don't waste your time. Sandwich is very dry.

I really like this new sweet location. I frequent the Williamsburg & LES location often throughout the years. However, this location is simpler, easy, and I like it. It run more like a true NY spot often were you order, you eat, you go. I miss that kind of vibe, and this location brings it back to a time of fast, efficient service. You literally go up to the counter, order you food, pay, it is brought to your table, you eat, you refill your beverage & go. I always get the classic waffle, with the chicken strips, and please don't forget the lemon & raspberry butter it is just so good. The Mac & Cheese is just comforting. They also have grilled chicken options which is pretty dope too. The staff is awesome! They are very kind, efficient, and full of welcoming smiles. The location is not huge but it is accommodating. There are a few tables, and a restroom. It is more of a grab and go location, or if there is room to stay, you can do so. Go check it out.

This is the union Square location. I haven't eaten here in about a year. Today I decided to get something for lunch. I chose the OG chicken sandwich and the mac & cheese. I have to say, I was very very disappointed with the mac & cheese, it tasted so bland, like honestly couldn't taste cheese, salt, pepper, like nothing! Very strange. The OG chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection, very juicy. The bun was delicious. Just one little issue with the sauce. I don't remember it from the first time I had the sandwich but again it's been over a year. I definitely come back for one of the chicken sandwiches, but I'm staying away from that mac & cheese. That's a hard no!

I'll be honest this has to be the worst dining experience I've had in New York City and it had absolutely nothing to do with the service everything to do with the food and the prices I have never consumed such a mediocre dry sandwich in my 22 years of being alive in what universe should two sandwiches one for me on for my girlfriend and a side of fries run my pockets for 50 dollars that is half of a hundred dollars that is probably 1 employees for this business's paycheck for an entire shift right out of my pocket the chicken came out with like no sauce which is weird because the pictures led me to believe the chicken sandwich I ordered had sauce on it cause it was literally red in the picture I guess through some over saturated picture of the sandwich with sauce on it that wasn't real anyway yeah I despise this place and I think the prices are the worst I've seen here in New York for what you receive. They did play fein so that was cool I'll give them that.

Stopped by for a bbq fried chicken sandwich. Bbq sauce was a listless ott but I liked the jalapeños and the chicken was good. Not a massive sandwich but reasonably sized. My wife and daughter had fried chicken and waffles which they enjoyed. The atmosphere is fast food but higher end.
