Great spot for a great donut. I had the Creme Brulee donut and it was amazing. My mom and dad had the red velvet and Boston creme and they said both were really good. The young lady who assisted me was so kind and helpful. I'll definitely be back to try different flavors.

Pretty solid donut shop. They had a wide variety of flavors...different styles so a little bit of something for everyone. I got a dozen and it was about 40-ish bucks. They had old fashioned donuts, cake donuts, filled donuts, and even cronuts. There are options for lattes. I purchased an iced marshmallow latte and if I'm being completely honest it just tasted like a vanilla latte...but it was a decent latte after all was said and done. I don't think I'd make the hike out again since its about 40 minutes from my home, but if you are in the area it's a very cute shop with friendly staff as well. Its tiny, but there is seating inside...people were coming in with kids so it's a kid friendly place for sure.

Very unique donut variety! Sweet Circle offers specialty donuts, mochi donuts, even cronuts. All the donuts I’ve tried were not overly sweet and had a delicious filling. The toppings were perfectly nested in the dough so each bite had consistent flavor. The staff were super friendly, helpful, and polite. Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend this place!

We stopped in for a special treat. They had a good selection of donuts. The shop was decorated nicely and the man who was working there was inviting, helpful and nice. We decided on 6 donuts, Boston creams, pistachio, blueberry cheesecake, apple cider and bacon maple. We enjoyed them all! The prices are average for this type of shop and it does have a nice area to sit and eat if you want to do that. Overall, I recommend stopping in for a delicious donut. We will be going back whenever we are in Elmhurst again.

Someone brought these to work and I just happened too try the tropical mango. I thought it was apricot filing but after Google searching I found out why I loved it so much. It was seriously the best donut I ever had in my life. Can't wait to bring my son here, he LOVES donuts. Will be back and recommending for sure!!

Great spot to have coffee of all sorts, lemonade, arnoald palmers And all types of donuts but get here early because the run out! We were luck to get some mini donuts and other treats. The mini donuts were my fav they had a nice outter chunch with a soft inside 5/5 powdered, chocolate sprinkles, min mango tajin donut crazy but it works! Apple ciders, blueberry fritter, cherry fritter, and a vegan cinnamon 5/5 unique flavor profiles. One thing that was cool is the guy at the register made seating for us since all the tables were filled it was a bit tight but it worked thanks guy.

I liked my first visit to Sweet Circle. Their donuts and ice-cream variety and choice of other offerings were good. The service was friendly and the menu pricing was reasonable. I purchased a few a donuts to go and tried their Mango Lassi and Ube flavored ice creams. From their donuts selection, I got a Tropical Mango, a Biscoff, a Maple Bacon and a Oreo Cake donuts. The ice cream flavors were tasty. The Mango Lassi was better between the two. It captured the taste of Lassi nicely. I have had better Ube flavor ice cream elsewhere. As for the donuts, they were nice in general but a bit too sweet for my liking (except for the Oreo Cake one). My favorite donut was the Oreo Cake one followed by the Tropical Mango one. Overall, I had a nice experience. I recommend checking out Sweet Circle, if you haven't before.

This is probably my favorite donut shop in IL! Their donuts are so good, no matter which one you pick, however the Blueberry Cream Cheese donut is probably #1 on my list. Staff is always so friendly. I always look forward to coming back!

I'm sitting at Hello Donut while I write this review. It's a small donut and coffee restaurant (café?) located in downtown Elmhurst. They have 5 small tables, so limited seating. They have lots of donuts to choose from. I ordered the smores donut and a 16oz hot coffee. Both of these were delicious. All in all, 2 donuts, a hot coffee, and a cold brew came to $12. Not bad! They offer deals on half and full dozens. The staff was friendly, and the music gets you jumping.

It is amazing? Just ate the best single donut .... Sorry cronut of my life. Crème Brûlée Cronut for the W. The glazed old fashioned almost brought me to tears when I pictured every human in the world was able to wake up tomorrow and try one with their coffee or chocolate milk. My kids raved about the Boston crème and the strawberry donuts but before I could try them they were long gone. Speaking of Long John the maple bacon is a treat. For someone who truly has sweet teeth and loves both maple and bacon to the moon and back I was underwhelmed with this one. I can't wait to go back and try the minis and the blueberry. We tried 6 this time and will be back to try more soon. First gotta get a few thousand steps in so I don't become a big back meme poster child.

Cute little spot in downtown Elmhurst. Parking is street parking. Donuts are priced by 3 levels. You are able to order singles, half dozen, or dozen. I tried a red Velvet and a cold brew coffee. The donut was pretty tasty. Service was friendly. They have 1 gender neutral bathroom available. Water cups are available to self serve water. Check them out if you are into unique donuts!

The parking may not be super easy to find, but it's worth the walk. It's super cute inside (there are a few tables for dining in), but we bought a 1/2 dozen so we took them to go. The staff was super quiet, but got the job done. The real draw here are the incredible and unique donuts. Are they pricy? Yes. Do I have regrets? No. I had to try the weird ones (because of course), so we got a mango tajín old fashioned (very unique and yummy), a Mexican mole cake donut with sesame seeds (not gonna lie, this one was a flop for me), a fruity peables (a bit soggy but still good, also their spelling - not mine), a red velvet cream cheese (all around an amazing donut, super moist), a double chocolate old fashioned (so ooey gooey good), and the GIGANTIC and my favorite the blueberry cream cheese which was stuffed and topped and glorious. Would recommend to a friend.

Solid customer service here. Very friendly and the smiles are genuine. It's all about the eyes lol. They've got your standard amazing lineup of custom donuts. Seating is a little limited if you're in a larger group. But they're also excellent photo takers in case you want some action shots of yourself eating a donut and you're on a solo mission. Sweet...

The donuts are solid, but the price/value wasnt there. What irks me about this place is the menu board on the wall behind the counter says $1, $2, $3 in large letters, but in small lettering about 1/10th the size, barely readable, is .99. So when you think a donut is $1, it is actually $1.99, (double). I am sure many of the clientelle in Elmhurst will pay it, but this sneaky practice tells me something that will prevent me from coming back. For the money and the transparency, Marianos will be just fine.

I was excited to find a new donut shop. After reading about the unique flavors, I had to give it a go. They had an interesting selection of flavors, including Pistachio, Mango Tajin, Mexican Mole, Red Velvet, and Oreo. We ended up getting two gourmet donuts and one standard donut: Nutella, Mango Lassi, and Vanilla w/ Sprinkles. The Nutella and Mango Lassi donuts were both very large. The actual donut portion was generous. But...the dough was more on the dense and dry side, which I think happens when donuts are made in a larger size. The actual toppings were pretty tasty, though. The Nutella one had a dark chocolate icing with some crunchy balls on top, with some Nutella filling on the inside; there wasn't much Nutella, but it's thick and rich, so you don't need much. The Mango Lassi donut had a pretty tasty icing and dried fruit, though it didn't resemble actual mango lassi in flavor. I was pleasantly surprised by my son's basic donut. It was about half the price of the gourmet donuts, it had a nice crispness and texture to it, and it didn't seem as dry as the other two donuts. If I go again, I'll probably get a cake donut instead of a yeast-raised donut. 3.5 stars overall.

*Alert* Danger Zone *Alert* I have been dying to try this place out for months and boy, it did not disappoint. Our family of four arrived on a recent Saturday around 9AM and there was a short line but it moved fast. I was very tempted to order a dozen but it's just not healthy and realistic to try to finish so many donuts within a few days when we were already planning for a Mother's Day dinner with lots of food and sweets. So with immense will power, I only allowed myself to order seven: mango lassi, Mexican mole, tiramisu, blueberry Bismarck, mango tajin, chocolate sprinkles, and Nutella Italian. My two little girls loved the chocolate sprinkles. My favorites are the mango lassi, blueberry Bismarck, and Nutella Italian. My least favorite would be the mango tajin because it has a chili and lime spice to it. I cannot wait to go back and try more! And I'm sorta glad there is some distance between Hello Donuts and my home because frequent visits would definitely push me overboard in my daily calorie intake.

A fun shop with very fun decor, consisting of a wide variety of colors on the decorations, walls, and especially their colorful sprinkle themed floor! The food is equally as appealing with very nicely constructed donuts that are very social media worthy! Fortunately, the food is just as good. The main draw for me here is their good selection of unique flavors which include items such as Mexican Mole, Mango Tajin, Pistachio, Mango Lassi, Pumpkin Cake, and Oreo! These are very clear to distinguish by their colorful presentation and unique construction. Though the prices are not the cheapest, they are consistent with what you'd expect to pay around Chicagoland for gourmet donuts and the base of each of these, even without the extra flavors is quite good (the year donuts are quite fluffy and the cake donuts have a spongy firmness). Overall, worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for some unique donut flavors!

My next stop is for all my donut lovers. I had heard nothing but great things about this donut shop and needed to check them out for myself. My next review is for Hello Donut in Elmhurst. I decided to check this location out on a rainy Monday morning. My wife had off work and we both decided this would be a perfect time to go get some donuts. I have seen multiple publications and social media influencers post about Hello Donuts and how unique and delicious their donuts are. They are located in the center of downtown Elmhurst. Parking here is always an issue, but luckily enough, on this day, due to the rain and the time that we went, I was able to get a spot right in front of the establishment. The moment that I walked in, it was much smaller than I imagined. There was one other customer sitting down with Latino music blaring from the back area, which I assume was the kitchen. A friendly solo worker was behind the counter, with a large smile on her face. I asked to speak to the owner or a manager to inform them that I was going to do a review of their establishment. I wanted to make sure it was OK to take pictures and possibly get a picture of the owner for the review. The girl behind the counter did not fully understand me, I feel. She did not speak English very well, which is perfectly OK. She went in the back to grab someone who I was assuming would be a manager. A man emerged from the kitchen with a hairnet on and apron. He looked at me like he did not know what I was talking about. I handed him my business card and asked if he could please give this to the owner and if he knew of a good way that I can inform the owner when I post a review. Again, this person, who I do not know if he was a manager or not, looked at me like a deer in headlights. I just dropped the conversation and said I would like to get some donuts. I wanted to get one of each of their most popular donuts. So I went with a full dozen. These donuts range in price from three dollars and change to four dollars and change. After all said and done a dozen donuts cost me just under $40. I took the donuts home to test each individual donut and here's my review. Red velvet cream cheese - No distinct flavor. The cream cheese had no flavor of cream cheese. The donut was soft and moist. Mango Tajin - The donut itself had no flavor of mango. What stood out as a dominant flavor was the Tajin. The donut was soft and moist. Nutella donut - Very strong flavor of the Nutella and very chocolatey. The donut was soft and moist. Blueberry old-fashioned - Very fresh. The donut had what I assume was a flavor of blueberry just not of any blueberry I have ever had. Pecan carrot cream cheese - The biggest stand out flavor was cinnamon. I did not taste any flavor of cream cheese. It did not taste like a carrot cake. The donut was soft and moist. Michigan cherry old-fashioned - This was one of my favorite. There was a strong flavor of fresh cherry. The donut was very fresh and moist. Apple Fritter - Good flavor of apple and very soft and fresh. Nothing super special, but a good flavor. Mango Lassy - The flavor was very fresh. There were pieces of Mango on half of the donut. I wish that there was more mango flavor. It was still very good. Blueberry cream cheese - Nothing about this donut had any flavor. The cream cheese had no flavor while the blueberries had no flavor, which was very strange. It was soft and moist. Chocolate Boston cream - A very fresh great flavor of chocolate. The center had a nice flavor of vanilla pudding. The donut was fresh and moist. Tiramisu donut - It had a hint of espresso flavor. Again, the flavors were muted. Smores Donut - It was soft and moist and a good donut flavor. No standout Marshmallow flavor at all. I will say that as these donuts were not bad by any means, some were very tasty. These donuts did not live up to the hype. Many of the donuts have the same flavor just different names. I also could not understand why all of the cream cheese donuts did not have a flavor of cream cheese. I do not know what they used for the cream cheese topping or fillings. The fruit flavors were also very muted. Most of the fruit did not taste like fresh fruit. It tasted like possibly something from a can or preservatives. The price of these donuts come at a premium. I do not think they are worth four dollars a donut. I do not think I would come back as the location is somewhat annoying to get to with parking. I give an overall rating of 4.5 out of 10.

I supported this business two times. One day after the next. I will never return though after the rude girl who was working this morning, Aug 30. She was flat out rude and I will support businesses who actually value my business.

My husband and I tried the pistachio and Oreo donut. We were so impressed with how amazing they were. We will definitely be coming back.

Holy smokes, these are some great donuts. The place recently opened and we sampled 5 different flavors. My favorite is the Michigan Cherry - it has a real pop of flavor. Mango Tajin was an unexpected treat. Piña Colada is fantastic. Pomegranate was very good. There are a ton of other flavors I want to try: cinnamon pretzel and blueberry fritter will be next on my list. If you need a donut fix with great, unique flavors, roll up and say hello to Hello Donut! I have a feeling we're going to be stopping by often.

Your typical donut shop. I was expecting to be wowed by craft/seasonal donuts, but was meat with pretty much your classic donuts. Nevertheless, the donuts were still yummy and if I happen to be in the area I would definitely visit again. The service was blah, not excitement or anything as well as the aesthetics

Stumbled upon Hello Donut last weekend and decided to give them a try. Definitely a cute shop and the service was nice. They had a variety of unique flavors that I was excited to try, like the mango tajin. The flavor was good, I like the sweet and spicy combo but needed more of a mango taste. Some of the flavors made it seem like it would be stuffed with a filling, but actually they just keep the center donut hole in and just pipe a little bit of filling. Leaving the rest of the donut just tasteless and a lot to be desired. Overall, service was good, but the donuts are pretty underwhelming and I'm not sure if I'd go back.

Not really great donuts here but nice workers. I had a bunch of the donuts including a MOLE DONUT, unique savoryness to kick out the typical sweetness of a donut lol just like the bacon donut I've had. I guess a fillet mignon donut should be next! LOL, not really.

This hidden gym located a stones throw north of the Elmhurst train station on York Road has some of the most amazing gourmet donuts I have ever tried in my life. I am a big fan of Stan's donuts, however, this is even way better than that. They have an outstanding, selection of coffee drinks, and I highly recommend trying the stuffed blueberry, the mango or the crème brûlée. I wish I had a photo, but I always devoured the donut so fast that I only remember after I eat.

"Hello Donut." Hello donuts indeed!! Hands down, the absolute best donut shop in the burbs I've ever been to! Where else could one find such fresh and unique ethnically inspired donuts (such as the Rasmalai and Mexican chocolate mole)? Certainly takes the cake from Stan's if you ask me! My personal favorites include the pina colada, old fashioned Michigan cherry, Oreo cake and strawberry bismark. Their old fashioned pistachio, red velvet cream cheese and mango Taijin are fire too! Let me say, their bismark is none like I've ever had before. The filling contains the perfect balance of savory and sweetness, almost resembling the taste of a strawberry rhubarb pie! I sincerely value how each type of donut possesses its own distinguishable flavor profile. I have never had a donut from here I didn't like, and that's saying a lot! My only complaint, however, would be my occasional encounter with gnats flying around the racks inside their donut display (hence the 1-star deduction). Team members need to pay better attention on days like these and take action, so customers do not potentially get sick from consuming bug-infested donuts. This could become a serious health code violation, otherwise. I wish Hello Donut my very best for their business moving forward!

This place satisfies your sweets craving immensely. There are tons of fun flavors to choose from. They also have fruit and coffee beverages. The restaurant is set up on a nice strip with lots of other businesses to visit. There is seating inside for dine in.

Meh... the doughnuts are not bad. But honestly their nothing special. What I do want to note here is HIGHLY important.... You are selling doughnuts that contain allergens, yet there is zero indication on the display case tag... example: the mole doughnut and the salted caramel... both of these offerings contained nuts (be it tree nuts or peanuts), yet the tags provided no warning of such. I was purchasing these for my significant other and his children (one of which has a peanut allergy). There was no obvious sign of peanut on the mole doughnut and I asked only after I saw the cashier ring up the "salted caramel" as caramel pecan.... I know that you are a new business and maybe this safety measure never occurred... but to avoid a future lawsuit... please ensure the display tags list dangerous allergens, such as peanuts... Also.... I ordered an Arnold Palmer... the cashier messed it up... alls I got was iced tea... Im not likely to revisit this doughnut shop.

Stan's, move over, there's a new donut king in town. Hello Donut is by far the best donut I have ever tasted. Husband and I were walking after getting some ice coffees at Starbucks. We had noticed Hello Donut the day before, but weren't feeling donuts. Thankfully, today was the day I had the most amazing donut. Y'all, I usually take photos of my food, but I was so enamored by my Blueberry Cream Cheese donut that my hands kept stuffing the glazed perfection into my mouth before I could take a photo. It was gone before I knew it. I am so excited to stop by for more donuts. I think I'll try the Maple Bacon and coffee next time. TLDR: Better donuts than Stan's; your next dessert caterer.

Such a cute new edition to Elmhurst. I've been there a couple times and I love the mini donuts. You can get a dozen mini donuts and walk around town. I like the chocolate with sprinkles. They have different pastries as well and normal size donuts lol. The staff is friendly. They have a couple of tables to eat inside not outside.

After having had lunch across the street, we decided to give this place a try. Hello donut has a wide variety of flavors and a very colorfully decorated restaurant. Unfortunately, all of the flavors that I tried had very little flavor. We ordered the double chocolate, the pumpkin, and the mango lassi donuts, as well as a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate had no flavor at all. It tasted like warmed milk. I wonder if the server forgot to add the chocolate flavoring. The chocolate donut was very light on chocolate flavor despite it's name and look. The pumpkin donut was a traditional cake donut decorated to look like a pumpkin. Although it looked nice, I was expecting a pumpkin spice flavored donut and was disappointed to bite into it and not find a special flavor. (It is worth pointing out that the special and signature flavors have a premium price.) The mango lassi had some flavor to it. I liked the taste and texture of their yeast donut. The floor is panted to look like sprinkles which is a cute idea until you try to move a chair or table on it and find it to be quite difficult. This is a great idea and concept but the execution needs some work. I'm willing to go back and try again once some changes have been made.

I love their donuts!! I tried them for the family, and they can't get enough of these delicious donuts. They're a bit pricey, but well worth it. Absolutely delicious,, they stay fresh. They don't loose their taste, even after heating them up for a few seconds. My daughter and granddaughter love the apple fritters and the red velvet donuts. The pistachio donuts are delicious too. I don't normally write reviews, unless the service was just awful, but I had to write a review about these delicious donuts.

Business popped up in my Instagram feed a few weeks ago, of course looked AMAZING. The proof is in the pudding! (Or donut custard.) Went in to try a few weeks ago and was NOT disappointed at all. I'm almost 50 and grew up in Chicago, I remember "time to make the donuts" and there is a HUGE difference in donuts from when I was a kid. Hello Donut reminds me of fresh made, delicious donuts from childhood. They have a number of signature donuts that are always in the display case and a variety of rotating selections. If you like good donuts, this is a must visit. Donuts are $3 each, which might sound like a lot..... These donuts are worth EVERY penny and an excellent value for the quality you are getting. Fresh, quality ingredients and each donut is almost like a mini cake. They have a proper coffee machine and the cappuccino and americanos have been spot on. Today was my second visit and I will update as I go back. I like donuts a lot. These are probably the best donuts I have ever eaten. Everything from the texture, the flavors & the presentation. They are worth every penny. As an added bonus, the customer service inside the store was top tier. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

I was so excited to see a specialty donut place in the suburbs! Moving back to Chicago-metro after living in Indianapolis had me dying for a good local donut shop, and this one did not disappoint! The inside is small, but it has a very fun modern vibe (almost kinda felt like an ice cream shop). I visited toward the end of the day so they were already out of a few flavors, but I got 6 and they were amazing! I couldn't finish them all last night, so I had a few leftover that I ate this morning and they still tasted relatively fresh! I forgot to get pictures of the donuts, but they looked exactly as advertised. We got an apple fritter, maple bacon long john, piña colada, mango tajin, Nutella pocket, and pecan carrot cream cheese (my personal favorite). They were all delicious! I can't wait to come back and try some more! It is also right in the center of downtown Elmhurst so you'll have to park on the street, but you can always grab a donut to go and walk around the block. Definitely recommend!

They have gone through a name change for future growth reasons but the donuts are the same. Still delicious. There are a lot of great donuts to choose from but the best donut I think I've ever had is the their Maple Bacon Long John.

Pistachio donut, strawberry jelly and red velvet all tasty...the rest seemed to have the same attention to flavorings Pistachio was a nice yeast donut with a great pistachio icing with ground pistachio on top. Red velvet was the red chocolate cake donut with a glaze and cream cheese center. Strawberry jelly had a great jelly filling with strawberry frosting on top of a great yeast shell. But the rest, cinnamon pretzel, caramel on cake donut, chocolate donuts, glazed all just par. Size of them were all nice just lacked the sweetness, texture or flavor that I had hoped for. Overall great town, ok donuts for the price, nice packaging, lattes not bad, but one and done.

Helllllloooo donut indeed!!!! I will probably dream about the carrot cake and the blueberry cream cheese donut. And I should be embarrassed to say that I ate three donuts in one sitting (but there were too many delicious ones to choose from, I couldn't stop myself, and it's not like I eat 3 donuts on the regular) but also the mango tajin was so different and delicious!!! I can't wait to go back and keep trying more (let's just hope I don't get into a habit of trying 3 at a time, lol). Getting my coffee was a little slow but I will cut them some slack since they just opened (I am sure they are still finding a rhythm). If you like a good donut I highly recommend this place!!!! (And my coffee was delicious too)

This place is delicious and 100% worth a try. I got some donuts for a birthday party and was not disappointed. They have a bunch of fun flavors and a great staff who gave good recommendations. 100% will be back.

I was thrilled to see this representation in a local valley case! I spoke to the owner at Hello Donut Coffee & Shakes today and he said that he loved how expansive Indian flavor profiles were and he loved playing with them. As it turns out, he has good instincts... He said he can't keep these in stock! I delivered a half dozen to my parents as a sweet surprise and they thoroughly enjoyed this fresh take on a classic Indian dessert.

Great food, service and the vibes and ambiance is nice. I would recommend giving it a try
