Treat your taste buds. The line may be out the door but it's worth the wait. May have a sample before you order. Also offers vegan flavors. Customer service is very friendly.

Google
Omggggg so good! They ran out of waffle cones so that was sad, BUT the ice cream was delicious! Such an awesome neighborhood find! Went with the classic vanilla and the oatmeal cookie. Wowwww my mind was blown! Pretzel cone is unique but doesn’t have much pretzel flavor. The salt on it was a nice balance with the ice cream though!

Stopped by for a small dessert after having dinner in the Louisville area. There were people sitting outside with their ice cream, but there wasn't any line inside. There's quite a few tables outside and bar stools inside. There were about 20-25 flavors to choose from which can be served in a cup, cone, float, milkshake, ice cream sandwich, and topped with various toppings. Tried a few flavors before settling on the Butter Pecan and Golden Grahams in a cup. Any flavor is always delicious since they're all freshly made in small batches. They're silky smooth and melted quickly in your mouth. This is a fun location to enjoy good ice cream with a nice sitting area outside.

Google
This place was hopping on a Saturday night in mid October. I'm from Michigan, so I had never heard of this place. Just found it on the Google map looking for ice cream. I got a malt and my wife got a hot fudge sundae. She got candy corn ice cream (I know, doesn't sound good to me either- but she liked it) And ET phone home ice cream. Homemade hot fudge. My malt was good- could have had more chocolate in it. But it was solid. Plus they had extra big straws which are nice for malts

Google
This place is a must go to if in Louisville. We have went many times to get ice cream here and it only gets better. They have great ice cream and friendly people (especially Caleb). Lots of area to eat outside and enjoy yourself. Be forewarned it can get busy-but just go with the mindset of enjoying a nice time out to get some good ice cream. One of our families favorite spots.

Google
Wanted to love this because it had such great reviews. Waited in line for at least 20 minutes on a Saturday. Got the Dutch chocolate ice cream and it was kind of gritty, like eating powder that hadn’t been mixed in all the way. Might just be a chocolate thing, didn’t ask to try other flavors.

Google
This place is absolutely amazing and has fantastic customer service. Two young ladies helped my brother and me get our first round of ice cream, and when I returned, they were so sweet and helped my mom get an ice cream cone too. I highly recommend this incredible ice cream shop!

Google
As a lactose intolerant person, this was my favorite ice cream shop and they had absolutely delicious vegan ice cream but I was disappointed to learn that all their vegan ice creams are now coconut based. Their sorbets are very good, but not nearly as exciting as actually being able to have ice cream. If you can have coconut I'm sure it's worth a try as they do a great job with their flavors.

Yelp
This is a cute ice cream location in Louisville with a nice parking lot and plenty of outdoor seating - perfect for the summer. They have a verity of ice cream options that include your classics like vanilla and chocolate but they also have some exciting new flavors like raspberry Oreo or California fig. I ordered a raspberry Oreo and the California fig and they were surprisingly really good. The ice cream is a nice thick consistency and it isn't too sweet. Quick service despite the lines. It gets busy over summer time.

Yelp
Wow! delicious and creamy ice cream! what a great spot to enjoy a warm summer afternoon. Located in Louisville, this is a great spot to have delicious ice cream and to sit outside and enjoy it while you chat with your friends or family. There was plenty of parking, although it was quite full, because the place is so popular, I tried the chocolate turtle and the white Russian ice cream. Both were delicious! highly recommended!

Yelp
Just a tourist trying to find a sweet treat in Colorado in the middle of January, and Sweet Cow came up on my Yelp. And I'm glad it did. 24 flavor options, and I got the Captain CrunchBerry because I'm a cereal connoisseur, and IT TASTED EXACTLY LIKE CAPTAIN CRUNCH. You know when you go to places and they have items on their menu like 'Snickers Ice Cream', but then it doesn't even taste like Snickers? Yeah.. not the case. Sad there's not one where I live, but glad I had the opportunity to come here!

Yelp
You might ask, why would we drive out to Louisville for Sweet Cow Ice Cream when our house is located halfway between the North Boulder and South Boulder locations. Well, the answer is, my husband is a fan of a flavor they only make about once a year. REALLY a fan! So I always check the locations for when it comes back in stock. It finally made the list of the Louisville store last night so he planned the drive for today, which we needed to relax anyway as we have spent the last 5 days planting a new garden area. We have never been to this, the original location and were pleased to see how large it is and how much seating they have there. Much bigger than either of the Boulder stores. As is standard for the company, everyone was incredibly helpful and the store very clean and busy even on a weekday right after opening. It appears that all of Boulder County is tuned to Sweet Cow. Another bonus for us, it is only a block from Moxie Bread which opens much earlier so we could make a stop there first. Both are in the cute original center of Louisville. And if you are wondering what his favorite flavor is, it is good old fashioned original chocolate chip! Not the newer "fancy flavors" like raspberry, or mint or chocolate-chocolate or peanut butter or Ozo Coffee. Plain will arrive in Boulder soon as the flavors rotate through the whole group. But he could not wait!

Yelp
I drove way too far out of my way to get here but man oh man was it worth it. Sweet Cow is hands down SO delicious and will be a must-stop any time I am in town in the future so I can make my way through their menu. The service was fast, the shop was tiny but cute, and my favorite part was the free stickers.

Yelp
I only write reviews for 1 star and 5 star places. We've been here several times and loved almost every encounter. There was one time that is still stuck in my head to this day of a higher up berating an employee in front on a line of customers. Might be one of the least professional things I've witnessed. It appears that he no longer is in a position to do this to employees any longer. It's so great to see the employees slanging ice cream with a smile on their face instead of fear of a micromanager.
google avatar

Yelp
The ultra long lines in the summer times tells you everything. It's easily one of the best ice cream shops in Colorado.
google avatar

Yelp
Sweet Cow is well, just the sweetest place. We love giving this place a visit when we are in Louisville but are thrilled to see the Sweet Cow truck make the rounds in Broomfield! They have a very wonderful selection of ice cream. Sometimes to the point where I am overwhelmed by the choices and fear of missing out on something I should have but did not order. Luckily, I have a husband and two kids who like to share so problem solved!
google avatar

Elise M.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream with plenty of flavor options. The staff was friendly and there was even some indoor seating which was nice in December.
google avatar

Kim L.

Yelp
Love this place!!!! Amazing service and great tasting ice cream. Perfect for a hot summer evening
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
Always delicious and the line moves fast! My favorites are Nutella and Salted Oreo. I tried the peanut butter chocolate last time and was disappointed to see chips for the chocolate and peanut butter instead of the ice cream tasting having swirls or tasting like peanut butter. Skip the waffle cone as it doesn't taste as fresh as the sugar cones. Pints to go are the way to go!
google avatar

Yelp
Certainly, the best ice cream for miles around. Sweet Cow uses fresh quality ingredients to make an exceptional treat. Whether its ice cream or sorbets, they use the best and it shows. What makes the place special, besides, being so tasty is the efficiency of the work flow and the friendly, helpful servers who keep the lines moving, which is especially beneficial when its a hot, busy night and you have little ones to treat. Vegan Ice Cream and fruit based sorbets available for the unfortunate lactose intolerant types.

Sandra R.

Yelp
Tasty ice cream every visit and friendly staff. Free parking in the lot in front. Love this area.

Yelp
Very good ice cream and great atmosphere. My kids enjoyed themselves very much. It's also joined located with a pizza shop. They also have a big flower area display in the middle of there outside hang out area, great for taken pictures with the family. Highly recommend checking out if your in the area.

Yelp
I love Sweet Cow ice cream! It's some of the best ice cream in Boulder! Recently I visited the location in Louisville and it was great! I love the big outdoor area in front it's really nice and a lot of fun! The lines were long but service was quick and welcoming. I particularly enjoyed the peach sorbet this time. It was so hot so I opted for a more refreshing and light option. It didn't disappoint! The sorbet was light, had delicious peach flavor, and had great consistency! Will be back for more sweet cow! They also have free stickers!

Amanda H.

Yelp
We have always been big fans of sweet cow for their delicious ice cream. Today I took my toddler there after he lost a tooth after taking a tumble and the kind server insisted his ice cream was on the house because he had such a tough day. We will be be Sweet cow customers for life.
google avatar

Sam H.

Yelp
Everyone scream for ICE CREAM! What a great place to eat some amazing ice cream. This is well known by the locals, they flock in thick to grab a taste of that Sweet cow. Lots of flavors to choose from, it was delicious:)
google avatar

David T.

Yelp
Add me to the list of a bazillion customers giving this place a deserved 5 star review. Awesome ice cream and great service from very animated employees. I also love the cow motif - very cute.
google avatar

Kayla L.

Yelp
We were told this was the beta ice cream in the area so we wanted to check it out. We were not disappointed! So many great options it was hard to pick. They had a few vegan choices as well! We asked about gluten free options and they gave us an allergen menu! We opted in for a one scoop serving and it was the perfect size. However, I wished I'd done two scoops so I could have tried two flavors!! I ordered the vegan almond joy. So so good! Very almondy with a hint of coconut, and had almost chunks and chocolate chips! You can top it with caramel, hot fudge, and whipped cream if you'd like for a small upcharge.

Yelp
The ice cream is great, and they always have a ton of great flavors. The only bad thing is that they often have a line. Which is a double edge sword because they have a line because their ice cream is good. So give yourself a little extra time during the warmer months to come in and grab an ice cream because there may be a line, but it's worth it so it's not a big deal.

William K.

Yelp
Simply put, this is the best ice cream in the area, perhaps in Colorado. It's consistently good, creamy, and I highly recommend both the fresh whipped cream and the chocolate or rainbow sprinkles. Of course the interior of Sweet Cow is still fun, with some minimal seating around the counter and they also have Sweet Cow clothing and bouncy cows for sale, along with free stickers (please use them responsibly.) But by far what makes Sweet Cow is the service. The staff is consistently very friendly, and they truly care about you and serving a good product. They are amazing and even if none of the flavors strike you that day, they will still smile and wish you well. Sweet Cow is a Louisville original that's spread throughout the Denver Metro area, but they haven't lost any of what made this, their first location, great.

Yelp
Fun and friendly place to come to, especially great in the summer enjoying their patio garden and bouncy cows for kids to play on. The ice cream is especially known for their cereal flavors but I like their cookies and cream best. Parking is very easy and the service is friendly and fast, don't be afraid of the line out the door, it will go faster than you think.

Yelp
I stopped by and didn't know what I wanted. Hannah was very helpful and she allowed me to try some samples. Excellent service.

Yelp
Delicious! My family loves going to Sweet Cow! They have som many unique flavors. Service is usually quick. In the summer time we love sitting on the patio.

Yelp
Creamy smooth ice cream with rich flavors! Taste: 5, Value: 4, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5 I've been here twice and both times was impressed! The location is super cute with an outdoor patio in the back to sit and have kids/dogs play. The service was fast and the employees are very helpful and speedy. One scoop is $4 with every additional scoop being an additional $1 (so clearly we got 2 scoops). They have all of the standard flavors, but also have a long list of rotating flavors that they switch out frequently. We had one scoop of NY cheesecake and one scoop of nutella. Portion sizes were standard scoops. Both flavors were FANTASTIC! They were super rich and the NY cheesecake had graham cracker crust pieces mixed in. Would have loved some actual nutella swirled into the nutella ice cream, but it was still so delicious! The texture of the ice cream is more similar to custard and is thick and creamy. Overall, really love the ice cream here! Also I have heard their milkshakes are great here too! We will definitely be back to try more flavors and different menu items.

Yelp
Creamy goodness. + Reese's (pint) + Honey lavender (pint) The ice cream is soo good here! Ordered via door dash and the ice cream arrived safe and sound. One can say it arrived at ready to eat temperature . It's a 10 minute drive from home to their Louisville location. Taste: A spoonful of Honey lavender starts off with a vanilla flavor progresses with that sweet honey taste and finishes off with that lavender smell. Yum. I recommend a scoop a pint would be too much. The ice cream does have little bits of lavender in the ice cream . If you can, enjoy a scoop at the shoppe such great ambience sitting on the patio tables under the warm sun.

Yelp
You'll never be disappointed with Sweet Cow. The Boulder and Louisville locations are always staffed with the nicest high school kids and don't forget about stopping if you see the Moo mobile. Hire them for your school or corporate event. The kids bust their butts in that thing and serve up deliciousness!
google avatar

Brad F.

Yelp
Having lived in Boston and NYC which are the Ice Cream capitals of the country, I can confidently day that Sweet Cow is works class! Their Cookie Dough and Cookies and Cream are the best I ever had, and their German Chocolate Cake and Oatmeal Stout flavors are exquisite. Hands down the best of Boulder and beyond.
google avatar

Katherine H.

Yelp
Super creamy ice cream, plenty of varieties, efficient service, and such a cute shop! One of my fav ice cream places

Natalie B.

Yelp
My favorite sweet cow location! I love the outdoor area and the friendly employees. Delicious ice cream as always
google avatar

Mel N.

Yelp
Wow it's been many years since BUT our daughter's friend worked/parents owned (IDK?) and suddenly, we had a lot of cow stickers! She even put one on dad's forehead (asleep) and she either made attempts to wake him/take pictures. And, frequenting often to get ice cream During, HOT summers on the weekend, our little family would stand in a LONG line to get yummy and cold! It's nice place, play area in middle and used to have turf. Atmosphere is very laid back, use of patience is necessary, due to amounts of ppl and little kids running around.

Yelp
Sweet Cow never fails to deliver on delicious tasting ice cream and fun flavors! From your classic vanilla to fruit loops, they always offer delicious, creamy, tasty ice cream. So much so, that they often have a long line, which is worth the wait! Try to go on a weekday or cold day to have less of a wait. Love this little ice cream spot in cute downtown Louisville!

L L L.

Yelp
The walk to after dinner dessert staple or lunch or just about anytime Best quality always

Yelp
Never a bad time or a dull moment. Always had friendly service that goes well with the comforting atmosphere.

Yelp
Anyone who doesn't love this place obviously is a Debbie Downer or a Karen. I only wish candy corn & egg nog ice cream was around all year long! I love that they hire teenagers who seem genuinely happy to be there! We happen to live a couple of townhomes down from a manager/owner who brings a Sweet Cow truck home almost daily & our son has an intricate plan to distract him & hold the truck hostage with his Nerf guns! People I'll go to some extreme measures to get Sweet Cow!
google avatar

Yelp
An adorable slot in downtown Louisville with color, character, crowds, and scrumptious ice cream. They even have vegan options! We enjoyed mint chocolate chip, cookies and cream, chocolate peanut butter, and Java/coffee flavors. Cones were crispy and fresh.

Chapin D.

Yelp
Yannick flavors that taste good Finally stuff Dairy free options available very welcoming

M M.

Yelp
Excellent variety, ice cream is a smooth and satisfying, the grounds are built for families and good times. Highly recommend. Almost as good as Meadowlark Dairy in Pleasanton, CA.

Jolie O.

Yelp
The food it's amazing great atmosphere best ice cream I've ever had! The service is really great. Absolutely love this place! Definitely try it.
google avatar

Kim F.

Yelp
How can you give sweet cow anything other than five stars... I love their business model... Their homemade ice cream with the many many flavor options is the best thing ever... I don't think I've ever heard anybody say they couldn't find some thing that sounded good to them... I guess my only complaint is this place is so popular that you have to stand in line for so long to get your ice cream... But that's also a mark of how great the ice cream is and how much the local community enjoys having sweet Cow here and Louisville...
google avatar

Megan H.

Yelp
Best ice cream place in Denver/Boulder area!! Amazing flavor selection and quick service. Fun environment.
google avatar

Allen S.

Yelp
We stop in here occasionally: always if we just ate at Lucky Pie next door, and some other times too. The ice cream is always delicious and they have a wide variety of flavors. The flavors are very strong, and everything seems to be made from scratch with the indicated ingredients, not from flavorings. My favorite flavor: Oatmeal Cookie. They sometimes have an Apple Pie ice cream that is also very good. There's a nice patio and garden area in front where you can rest and eat. Very Good Feature: all the containers and spoons are compostable. Recently we've been ordering delivery through GrubHub, and we get speedy delivery and the same great flavors. Yay!
google avatar

Medi M.

Yelp
I would give this place more stars if I could. There vegan ice creams are deceivingly good and the staff is always super friendly! Highly recommend
google avatar

Brian C.

Yelp
Best ice cream around at a local hangout. Come see your neighbors and enjoy being treated well by a well trained and friendly staff.
google avatar

Arlene S.

Yelp
Visiting from out of town and saw sweet cow as I was craving for dessert. There was a long line but the staff was quick to get the order so you can enjoy the ice cream while waiting to check out. I got the ozo coffee and the chocolate peanut butter pretzel. I like the taste of ozo coffee, wish it can be slightly stronger in coffee taste. The other one I ordered was good but gets a little heavy after a few bites. I like the texture of the pretzel in the ice cream but the chocolate and peanut butter pieces were huge that became too sweet.

Moni T.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere, nice staff. But their ice cream is just way too sweet. Their only fudge is too hard - on purpose - it's the one that solidifies on air. Nice variety of flavors. Just really expensive. For overpriced, overly sweet ice cream I won't make the trip again.
google avatar

Allison C.

Yelp
My favorite ice cream place. I love the thick almost chewy texture and the fact they don't use artificial dyes, etc. in their ice cream. My favorite classic flavors are the cookies & cream and oatmeal cookie. Both incredible. For rotating flavors run, don't walk, if they have Milena's Earl grey. My favorite ice cream in the entire world. Their banana cream pie, lemon poppyseed and any of their coffee variations are also wonderful. Also, do not pass on the ice cream sammies. They are decadent and delicious. Bonus, they have an app so you can always see what flavors they have available at each location.

Jack N.

Yelp
Awesome ice cream and great service! We visit Sweet Cow regularly and love it!! Highly recommend it!
google avatar

Katie R.

Yelp
Let me start this off with saying I got delivery so you can't judge an ice cream place fully unless it's freshly scooped in front of you if you ask me. HOWEVER three stars IS generous in my opinion. My husband got the double scoop with the "house made hot fudge" and it wasn't hot at all. It was more of a shell topping than a warm or even cold and chewy fudge topping we were expecting. I got the double scoop with caramel and I got double caramel but it did not have double caramel. I would order this again I would prolly just rather pick it up or go in myself.

Yelp
The ice cream gods have spoken and blessed Colorado with sweet cow. This is the best ice cream shop I have ever been to...in my life. I don't know what kind of crack they put into the ice cream, but it's so addicting. It packs a punch, is very milky, and jam packed with flavor without being too creamy or heavy. It leaves you with a very light feeling even if you have a large portion of this stuff. I found out about this place on Thursday night and literally came back every singe night since then to try out their other flavors (No regrets). There's always been a line out the door each time I've come, even five minutes before closing, the shop is bustling with people, indicative of how good this place is, especially in a quiet town like Louisville. Service is on point, staff are always open to giving out samples, recommending sizes and assisting you when you're having an existential crisis because you're indecisive af but there's at least twenty flavors on the board (guilty!). Their peppermint and pistachio flavors are my favorite and can't wait to give their other flavors a try. Definitely if you're in the Louisville (or Boulder or Denver area since they have branches over there too), give sweet cow a try. Plus you get a free cow sticker at the end of the line!
