Food: good portions , tasty. Atmosphere: The place is clean and cozy . Customers service : mediocre; the cashier was not very friendly and did not offer any further assistance. I enjoy supporting small businesses, but I also appreciate warm and attentive service, which this business lacked.

My daughter and I visited Sweet Drip on a 90° day to celebrate her accomplishements. We spent $40 on Dubai chocolate covered strawberry's, banana split and drinks. The service we received was extremely slow even though we were 2 of 7 people in the store at that time and 3 people were already seated with their purchase. It was just as hot inside as it was outside. The drinks we got out of the cooler were warm and we asked for 2 cups of ice. We were only given 1 half cup of ice and when we asked for another because we had 2 drinks we were told that they were all out of ice. We could clearly see the compartment filled with ice. The chocolate and Strawberries were warm as well and yes, the picture is how it looked when the top was removed. The ice cream for the banana split was chippy. Cashier was not friendly, welcoming nor willing to give any information to 1st time customers.

I had the most amazing pistachio ice cream! The chocolate and mint chocolate chip was great too. Coffee on point after a long day. The place was wonderful and let us try flavors first. They had cute chairs and tables to sit. Everyone was soo friendly . Definitely would come back.

Everything was DELICIOUS. Absolutely hit the spot. Tried the biscoff crepe, pistachio crepe, pistachio rolls, hazelnut latte, & karak tea. Biscoff crepe and latte were my favorites.

The pistacchio tres leches and turtle cheesecake was absolutely delicious 😋. Cozy little spot with great service. I will definitely come back.

Wanted to try the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup. So I think the cashier was new and we happened to arrive when there was a small surge of customers. We waited around 10 minutes to order but then waited nearly 20 minutes for our cup to be prepared. The girl making the cups was cutting the strawberries in real time for the cups. I understand wanting the strawberries to be fresh but I think pre-cutting them by the day would be ok and make things more efficient. Also maybe having a couple of people making the cups might help as all of the people waiting with us were waiting for the Dubai chocolate strawberry cups. I was there with my husband and we planned to share a cup but we realized after we left that we might have paid for 2 when we only wanted one. The cashier didn’t ask/confirm and I only said one cup but when the cups were ready the girl making them did try to hand us two; I told her we’d only ordered one. But we did pay $16 so we might have paid for two. Mentioning that to say that if they are $8 each I think they’re fairly priced and yummy but $16 would be too much for one cup. Hopefully they work on their process and customer service!

Yum!! Tried the Dubai Chocolate cake. It was delicious. It is so rich it will take me days to finish it My hubs got the banana pudding. We're southerners. This definitely wasn't the traditional southern banana pudding. But it is a rich, delicious custard. Really good! Definitely would come here again!

I've been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally last night I did. I was taken back by the amount of options they have. From açaí bowls to gelato and other tasty treats. My friend and I decided to try the gelato, she tried the cookies and cream and I had the salted flavor, we both had the salted caramel topping as well. It was so yummy and I really was surprised by the caramel. Service was amazing and it's very cute on the inside. Definitely will be back!!

Sooooo good! I dream about that cheesecake every. Damn. Day! I'll be back can't wait to try the drinks.

New to area from Boston and I live in HP. Been trying all the coffee shops between home and my kid's school and was happy to come across this place. I'm boring so I just wanted a caramel latte. Pricey but good. Better than Starbucks. I'll be coming in to try their crepes soon!

A must visit! A cozy comfy dessert cafe with delectable treats. Got the cookie butter crepe and it was fantastic. Also tried the Dubai chocolate ice cream and it was unique and yummy. Prices are a touch high but worth it for the high quality and calm nice ambience to sit and stay awhile.

We came here on a work at home lunch break for gelato to eat later. We dropped some food off at the Love Fridge along Hyde Park Blvd near 52nd street.(https://www.thelovefridge.com/) We are usu only in this area to go to Sip and Savor across the street, but Sweet Drip opens at 9. We also tell ourselves we don't go here to save our waistline and wallet! Anyway, we entered the cafe around 1pm on a Thursday. No customers were around, just staff. I did not realize until I saw the staff, Turkish delights and baklava that the place is owned/run, I assume, by middle eastern or Mediterranean citizens. Please correct me if I am wrong! In addition to gelato and pastries and coffee, they have candy, soda, water, other little convenience items, which is a good idea. Our clerk was friendly and patient, we asked a lot of questions! He let us sample a couple of flavors too. There was an 'odd' named one I did not care for but I forgot what it was. I got the Lotus and Nutella small cup. (lotus is like Biscoff cookies and vanilla ice cream!) My other party got the lemon and pineapple. My cup was half melted by the time I walked home but I put it right in the freezer. These were SOO good! It's hard to mess up gelato, though. I'd go back for a crepe or cookies or some dessert I can share. One thing we did not care for: my party received a small upcharge for using a credit card, which she inserted at the register. I tapped my card and did not get an extra fee. They should at least list that or warn customers. I may just use cash next time I go.

The iced coffee is really good, paired it with a Nutella gelato and Nutella sauce . The decor is really cute but I sat in the park across the street made for a gorgeous afternoon.

Literally the best hidden gem ever! Cutest ambiance and SO many options for coffee, gelato, various desserts, bubble tea, and so much more! There's plenty of seating too and is such a great place to stop by at, grab a bite, and get work done. Naif was also the sweetest, very welcoming, and let us try gelato samples before ordering! I highly recommend stopping by!

Inside is so attractive, love the table decor, it sits on the corner with great views. Service was quick, staff was helpful and very conversational. Ordered the turtle funnel cake, it was good. Can't frequent here to much due to calories, but if you're in the area. Give them a try.

Stopped in here for a sweet treat with our niece after a day at the museum. Such a nice hidden gem! It was so cute on the inside, and the selection of desserts were abundant and unique. I got the peach virgin mojito and I slurped it down in under 2 minutes. It was that good. The service deserves its own shoutout as well. The two gentlemen working when we came in this Thursday evening were so kind and patient. Our niece wanted to try EVERY SINGLE ice cream flavor and the man happily obligated and made sure she liked what she picked. It was awesome. If we lived in this area I would definitely be a regular.

This is a cute coffee/tea shop conveniently located in Hyde Park. I was so excited to know what would now be on this block and anxiously awaited the day they opened. As you can see , walking in, the ambience is so nice. It's colorful and there is plenty of reading. This is also a nice place to come and do homework it work if you need to. There are great views of the park which is across the street and it's in walking site nice of the lake. I tried one if their famous teas and it didn't disappoint. My daughter and her friends got desserts that were very tasty! The staff were very sweet and explanatory and suggested different things to us on the menu. I'm so glad to have this new shop close to my neighborhood. Give gotta check them out!

I ordered from here once. Never again. There was an odd smell in everything including the bag. The dessert was stale like it had been sitting in a fridge or out for a long time. Was disappointed.

Best dessert spot in hyde park! Very friendly staff and amazing dessert selection. Turkish coffee is incredible. Great place for groups or to pick up a quick latte. Highly recommend

I stumbled across this restaurant on the way to another one and glad I stopped by!! They have a great variety of desserts you won't typically find on menus. I ended up choosing the lotus crepe and it was absolutely divine! The man working was very helpful and kind as well. The 4 stars came from the price. This was $15 and really couldn't justify the price. The packaging was really nice maybe get some cheaper boxes, napkins etc to get a more cost effective dessert

Sweet Drip was one of the loveliest brunch spots I've ever visited - and I don't say that lightly! This is the perfect spot for cute photos with friends and food that tastes just as good as they look in pictures! The service and atmosphere was lovely and my friends and I had an amazing time just enjoying the sun. My friends and I ordered the Ferrer Rocher crepes and the Lotus crepes. Both were fantastic and decadent but the portion sizes were a LOT more than we were anticipating. Two people can very easily share one crepe so be sure to keep that in mind when you visit!

I ordered a strawberry banana crepe and a vanilla milkshake. Both were great! The crepe came in a beautiful, luxurious box and the presentation is gorgeous. They also have really great selection of desserts in their refrigerated case besides waffles and crepes as well.

A quaint little place in Hyde Park. The ice cream and milkshake we had were average, and the staff was friendly enough but not very engaged with the customers.

The service was excellent and it is gorgeous in here! It is ready for your Instagram pictures and it is a real gem in Hyde Park! Highly recommend!!

Ordered funnel cakes through Uber eats. Best I've had in a while and it came fresh! I'll have to stop in one day to experience the service in person.

This business is now under new ownership and they have made everything so much better!! The desserts are delicious I recommend the baklava cheesecake!! The owners are very friendly as well!! It's also very cute on the inside and great for photos!

Best desert in Hyde Park! Pictured below is a piece of their chocolate cake and a scoop of their mint gelato! Made the perfect after dinner treat for me and my wife. All of their gelato has great texture and flavor. One of my favorite non-gelato items is the banana pudding! I've also had their Turkish coffee. It's not for the faint of heart, but really good if you need a boost for an intense study session.

We tried the funnel cake ice sandwich and they were so good, not too filling and they cut it in half and it was perfect to share! The perfect spot for a date. Seating is not so spacious but walkable! Nice customer service!

Be prepared to wait. The first time I came is was two people. I was the only customer and ordered a chai latte, gelato, and slice of cake. It took longer, but they had just opened. The second time we actually canceled our order that was supposed to be ready between 7:25 - 7:35. There was one person, and a table of 3 when I came. They had yet to get one item. Finally one was called up to yet a drink. At 7:36 I asked about my order. I was told she had to fix the other orders before she could start mine, which was two crepes. I had to cancel because if I was lucky it would have been 8:15. She also was answering the phone. The third time, I just looked and saw people waiting and one person and went elsewhere. I hope they can get their staffing together.

I found this place driving by on my way to Baskin Robins for ice cream and it did not disappoint. I love it it's so cute. It's the perfect place for cute pictures. The customer service and ice cream is delicious. I can't wait to go back and try crepes and waffles. A lovely addition to Hyde Park.

Best Chai tea latte that I've ever had! Cute little place with very friendly staff and attentive manager/owner(?). The special attention taken to making our drinks tasty and pretty is a very rare quality these days. If I lived in town, this would be my new tea place.

We tried the Nutella, tiramisu, lotus, and pistachio gelato. All four flavors were delicious with Nutella being my favorite! The service was great, everyone was really nice, and our to go bag was really cute! Can't wait to come back and try the ready of the menu!

Highly recommend Sweet Drip, especially if you have a sweet tooth! We had the strawberry banana crepe, lotus gelato, and cappuccino - all were delicious and beautifully plated! The ambiance of the cafe was just as beautiful. The decor makes you want to sit down, relax, and savor your dessert over good conversation and laughs. Definitely a vibe. The staff was very kind and attentive. Also, I especially appreciate that they are open late - the time when I most often have my sweet cravings!

I had a slice of the chocolate cake and it was delicious. The cake was moist and flavorful and the service was great too.

Got the mixed berry smoothie and the strawberry banana crepe. Smoothie was delicious. The crepe was more like a dessert than breakfast as it had so much chocolate sauce but it was still good.
