Best Ice Cream Shops in San Jose and the South Bay Area | Eater SF

"For some all natural, premium ice cream that comes in eccentric flavors, Sweet Fix Creamery is the way to go. With 16 percent butterfat, the ice cream’s texture is extra creamy and smooth. When it comes to variety, Sweet Fix isn’t afraid to get creative with its repertoire of 95 flavors — 26 of which are available at any given time. Banana Brownie, Frappuccino Almond Crackle, horchata, and Mexican hot chocolate are some of the most loved, and toppings like fudge, whipped cream, and marshmallow fluff are made from scratch. And if traditional ice cream isn’t your jam, their homemade Italian ice is a great dairy-free, fat-free, gluten-free, and vegan option." - Cathy Park

Sweet Fix Creamery has smooth, creamy ice cream that has just the right sweetness. Food: I ordered two scoops, "Sweet Cream" and "Pistacchio". They gave us generous scoops that even one was enough. Service: They were very patient with my group and didn't rush us or question us as we sampled flavors. Atmosphere: It's clean and simple. There is just a line to order ice cream and then take-out. Overall: I'd come back if I am in the area! The texture was good and portions were large.

Visited this creamery in April 2025! Employees there were extremely welcoming and allowed me and my girl try out multiple flavors! I originally went inside to see the prices for this area and found that it starts at 4.99 for a scoop which is a great price compared to baskin Robbin’s or other ice cream shops. I highly recommend coming to this shop if you are in the area to receive amazing service and pay a fair price for ice cream and Italian ice. All the flavors we sampled were great! Definitely coming back to buy the next time I stop by the area! Thanks Sweet Fix Creamery!

Google
Sweet Fix is your regular corner ice cream shop. They offer a variety of classic and unique flavors that satisfy the sweet tooth in you. Italian ice cream are available for non-dairy options. I tried the red velvet waffle cone bit found no taste difference to a regular waffle cone. Servings are decent. Half servings available if you want to taste different flavors but can't finish two scoops. Clean shop but no seating is available.

Google
Love the flavors! They always rotate seasonal deliciousness! Sad that PB&J was out of season, as that ice cream tastes like a childhood summers day. ♡

Google
Nice, clean family styled, all natural ultra premium ice cream shop with amazing, hand crafted home made ice cream made daily on site. You'll definitely want to stop in and get your sweet fix at Sweet Fix Creamery. From Italian ice to rich traditional ice cream and more, stop here if you like great ice cream and great service.

Google
I bought the orange and cream swirl ice cream. The ice cream wasn't very creamy, and there were ice crystals like when ice cream has been in the freezer too long. The orange part of the swirl had a bitter taste. I finished it, but only because I was craving ice cream. I considered dumping it half way through.

Revathy

Google
The pistachio ice cream is a must try if you like that flavour. It had a lot of pistachio nuts in it. I have also tried their chocolate fudge and it was as fudgy as I expected. The only concern is I found their ice cream to be a bit too sweet, especially the chocolate flavours. They don't have any seating indoors. There are a couple of tables outside.

Small ice cream shop nestled in the complex. Been here couple of times. Classic brownie with warm brownie and vanilla ice cream with whipped cream is a favorite. They also have ice cream sandwich. Nice and wide variety of ice creams and Italian ice.

Yelp
No Bueno, I should've read reviews before driving to this place, frustrating that the kids wanted to try this place with excitement, we show up, looking at the dude through the window looking back at us, I'm not sure if he's refilling ice cream or getting the goodies ready before opening up for business. Hours Do Not match on Yelp & what's on the doors when you show up Not A Happy Customer & this review is not even to talk about the flavors of the ice cream, because we didn't even get a chance to taste the ice cream because they have no For Sure hours of operation

Yelp
Update since my last review - Thomas from the business promptly responded informing in concerns they have had recently. So removing my 1star and updating this to a 5 with a promise to visit the place soon! Thanks Thomas and best of luck! Cannot trust the timings of this place- shuts ANYTIME. Its was just 10:05pm on a Saturday night when both Yelp and the notice outside the shop says it's open till 11:30pm. We drove 15 miles to no avail :( thumbs down.

Yelp
I've visited Sweet Fix over 10 times by now as I am a huge fan of their ice cream. Every flavor of their ice cream and Italian ice that I've sampled/ordered has been so delicious! The quality of the ice cream is A+ -- this is in comparison to all of the other ice cream places I've tried. As an ice cream fanatic, I have tried many different places, and Sweet Fix is definitely one of the best by far. On my last visit, there was a minor incident with how I was rung up, however, this was shortly resolved by the owner (Thomas) and the extremely nice and helpful worker Reylina, which I'm very glad about because I love this place. Regardless of this, I have always been treated nicely and felt welcome when visiting Sweet Fix. I love bringing new people here to have them check out and try their wide variety of flavors. As for wait time, I'm usually in and out very fast. If there ever is a line, it moves very quickly. There is usually music playing throughout the store, which keeps the place upbeat (aside from the nice theme they have going).

Yelp
Sweet Fix Creamery serves up really delicious quality ice cream! "Sweet Fix Creamery" is located in the Capitol Square Mall in San Jose,CA. It was about 7:30pm on a Thursday evening, and I was driving around looking for a place to grab a snack before the drive home. I park and see "Sweet Fix Creamery." I couldn't tell if they were still open because there's no customers inside. No customers? I can fix this problem! So I'm immediately greeted by a young lady and she points out popular flavors. I ask for 2 scoops of Chocolate Delight and Coffee ice cream. It rings up to just over $8. 2 scoops in a cup is very small here. It's like $4 a scoop. This is was my first time here, there's probably a smarter way to order. This is really good ice cream! Coffee ice cream is an adult flavor. It should be a little bitter, a little sweet, and creamy. Eating ice cream is an experience of taste, texture, and the cold sensation that brings refreshment on a warm day. Ice cream is a comfort food. It makes you feel good. The flavor of the coffee ice cream lasted from start to finish. There was no weird after taste or watery base. It's just GOOD! The Chocolate Delight had a rich, sweet and creamy chocolate flavor. It was like eating a chocolate cake. The intense richness of the chocolate grabbed my attention. Very thick texture. If I'm in the area again, I'll try other flavors and post an update. This place had no tables inside, so everything is takeout.

Yelp
Sorry, I'm not going to be bribed. Sign in the store says employees get a free scoop for every 5-star review. Ice cream is good and servers deserve better treatment. Having worked at an ice cream store growing up I'm not sure the servers actually want ice cream - free or not. How about just giving them extra cash for good loyal service? I had the almond coconut which was creamy and lots of coconut flavor but $5 for one scoop is a bit stiff.

Yelp
One of the best places to get ice cream. The unique flavors and natural colors and natural ingredients mixed in the ice cream takes the experience up a notch. My friend and I got two completely different scoops of ice cream each and enjoyed them till the last bite. While my friend chose chocolate cone I got mine in a regular one and I can't tell you enough about the deliciousness of it. I realized though the cone was thinner than what's offered at other places or made with different ingredients which broke a bit too early but maybe that's why it was super tasty. The ice cream parlor is more of a grab and go type of place and doesn't offer seats, but since it is located in a shopping center we decided to walk around while enjoying the ice cream.

Yelp
I love the ice cream here. The prices on the wall aren't accurate. I've posted the sheet with the current prices. It's a bit pricey but I'll be back for sure. I don't mind paying a bit extra for great ice cream. Service was great. Parking lot is great. The ambiance needs a bit of work, the space looks a bit drab and worn out. The location is right between Starbucks and Wingstop, facing McKee Road.

Yelp
Whenever I'm craving ice cream, this is the place to go! I used to go to the rite aid down the street when I was younger but since that place is gone, Sweet Fix is here. I also like that they open late (11:30pm)! The place is small which makes the smell of fresh waffle super yummy. There's not much space inside when it gets crowded and there's usually only one person working so be nice and kind!!
google avatar

Emmie L.

Yelp
I am always glad that this place closes later than other ice cream places. I've tried almost all their flavors and the flavor I like the best is the black sesame! Whenever I go, there's always a line, even when it's cold out. This place isn't 5 star worthy but it's convenient that they stay open late for those late night cravings

Yelp
The Coffee Fix milkshake was pretty good. But the true reason for my review rating was the women who helped us. She was beyond kind and patience. She let us try anything and was just so nice. Another guy was there and didn't even offer to help her or greet us. This sweet women treated us so well and even as customers came in she never once seemed stressed as she managed everything by herself. I wish I knew her name but she provided excellent customer service.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been coming here for a couple years now and the ice cream is always just as amazing. I like how they alternate the flavors while keeping the most popular ones so you're able to try new flavors if you choose to. Their ice cream is made in house and all the flavors incorporated the perfect amount of creaminess & sweetness. My personal favorites are the black sesame and cookie butter!
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered two containers to take home. The rocky road was melted and the watermelon was super freezer burned and hard as a rock. Looks way past due and I had to throw it out. I would give this place a 0 star if I could.
google avatar

Kevin L.

Yelp
Super nice employee. He was very welcoming and gave a quick introduction to the seasonal flavors. Additionally, he was very polite and quite efficient at getting orders out. The interior was very clean and minimal. Flavor variety is quite diverse. The ambiance is relaxed and calm. Hazelnut mocha (5/5): the ice cream was so smooth and melted in my mouth. It was super creamy. I loved the texture of the ice cream itself combined with the mocha chips. The flavor was just right, not too sweet nor underwhelming. Tap to pay is accepted here. Overall, Sweet Fix Creamery is a delicious ice cream place. Customer service is unmatched. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Definitely a solid ice cream parlor in San Jose. Locally owned and operated small business! I heard the banana brownie was good and it's one of their signature flavors, so I decided to try it and it was really good! Definitely a great treat on a hot summer day. It wasn't too busy when I visited and there's was only one person doing the register and scooping up the ice cream. The only downside is that the area is lowkey kinda sketch, so don't leave any valuables in your car.

Yelp
So many flavors of ice cream to choose from on a scorching (100+ degrees) afternoon. We got the chocolate peppermint bark and chocolate trio in a cup, and butterscotch cookie and rocky road in a red velvet waffle cone... yes, even waffle cones come in different flavors (ie. ube, unicorn, cookies n cream, chocolate almond). I loved the variety of "chocolates" they had on the ice cream menu (ie. French chocolate), and I want to come back so I can taste them all!! My favorite was the chocolate peppermint bark, perfect combination of chocolate and mint chips. The ice cream here was so creamy and satisfying, I was not disappointed. I especially loved that they also serve some baked treats. I ended up getting a slice of banana nut bread, and it tasted awesome (they offered to heat it up, but I was saving it for later, and it was good just the way it came).  Service was satisfactory as well. There was no line and no wait, even on such a hot day. The worker was friendly and efficient. And we enjoyed our treats in the outdoor seating right in front of the ice cream shop (there's just a couple of tables). A great way to end an eventful (and hot) holiday weekend!

Yelp
This place is close to my parents house and I liked there's an ice cream shop nearby. It's woman owned. I got the cookies n cream in a cup. There were big chunks of Oreos, which I like. I like how there are different flavors like black sesame and matcha. The worker did see I was struggling to get in because I'm a weak person who does not go to the gym, she got the door for me. I like the atmosphere here better than the baskin robbins that's closer to my parents' house.
google avatar

Anabel U.

Yelp
A sweet treat for the heat but be aware that the ice cream seems to melt pretty fast. The flavors are some of the typical flavors but some are twists of the classics. There isnt any seating available so you either can walk around the shopping center or just leave.

Yelp
Came at 9:30pm and the open sign was turned off so we weren't sure if it was open but the hours online say closing time is 10:30pm. We saw some people walk in which signaled to us that it was indeed open. Right off the bat the atmosphere was very dead and unpleasant. No one greeted us or said anything at all actually. We had to ask about samples first to get the two young male workers to speak. They seemed miserable and had a bit of a rude attitude. We had to keep telling them what we wanted instead of them asking us what could they get us which we thought was offputting. We got an ice cream sandwich, milkshake, and single scoop. The cookie was not great, we couldn't even finish it. The milkshake was very thin and watery. Overall, the ice cream itself was great but customer service was pretty awful which makes us not want to come back.

Yelp
I got to go out and get my sweet fix every now and again and this was my first time visiting yesterday. Everyone recommended the banana brownie and I was very impressed. It was a hard choice though because there are many flavors and tons of toppings too. For some reason the ice cream is more creamy and tastes very fresh. The banana tastes like real, not artificial and then great chunks of brownie to make my sweet tooth oh-so-happy. The store was clean and well stocked. The crew was nice, nothing great to report there but nothing bad either. The good news is I go for the ice cream and will be back until I have tried all the flavors. No need for a lot of toppings with banana brownie as it is good all by itself. That did not stop me from adding whip cream and some nuts for good measure. Very good spot for your sweet tooth!

Yelp
Found Sweet Fix Creamery on Yelp while desperately craving a milkshake! My friend and I visited on a Friday night and the place was busier than we had expected. Unfortunately, there was only one employee working, so she was definitely spread thin. I was planning on getting a Matcha Milkshake but quickly realized that the flavors on the menu didn't match what they actually had available. I decided to get a Sweet Cream Milkshake and my friend chose the Sugar & Spice Milkshake. Both were very tasty! Overall, a very solid place for ice cream, although they seem a bit understaffed.
google avatar

Tina P.

Yelp
Whenever i am craving ice cream this is the place i would go to. They have homemade banana ice cream that no other places have and it's so freaking yummy. They alway rotate ice cream flavors so there no boring flavor. If you're a chocolate lover definitely order the chocolate ice cream. It's super rich and creamy. It's a small shop so it can get crowded on a hot day so be prepared to wait.
google avatar

Diane T.

Yelp
I don't know about the other flavors but the banana brownie flavor never disappoints. Banana brownie 5/5: Enough said.

Scott P.

Yelp
This place used to be amazing but has completely gone downhill. Two separate times we order off of Doordash and Uber Eats respectively, both times, Sweet Fix cancels the order and claims I canceled it. They limit what flavors they offer on food delivery apps but then cancel your order anyways. The most recent time I went in person, and they had absolutely no toppings. I mean nothing. Which is a shame because they have a lot of great flavors. Avoid these headaches and waste of time and go elsewhere.
google avatar

Daniel H.

Yelp
Ordered through door dash and was looking forward to some ice cream. 10 minutes later sweet fix cancelled very disappointed.
google avatar

Linda M.

Yelp
I'm always hesitant to get black sesame ice cream at shops because most of the time the sesame flavor is kind of toned down. Sweet fix creamery has got its recipe down! Very sesame forward flavor, exactly what I was looking for. A sweet treat on a hot day or a cold day. Come check it out! And there's plenty of parking as well.
google avatar

Sharon T.

Yelp
Been here many times. They have a lot of flavors with some unique ones. My go-to here is usually the black sesame--it tastes similar to vanilla, but less sweet and slightly more earthy? Not best description, but it's good! The downside is the vibe. It feels really sad when you walk in. Service wasn't bad at all, but it just felt really gloomy inside. Also, I usually like my ice cream in a sugar cone, but half the times I've been there, it's no longer available or sold out. Overall, a nice place for ice cream if you're nearby, but not a place I'd drive far for.
google avatar

Lani S.

Yelp
One of the best ice cream places in San Jose! Whether you're there to grab a cone, a pint, milkshake, or cookie sandwich, it's true quality you can taste. I got a single scoop of cookies & cream this time in a sugar cone. The cookies & cream was perfect and the sugar cone was crunchy, sweet, and really tied it all together. My partner grabbed 3 scoops in a red velvet waffle cone! Cookie dough, chocolate, and the coffee ice cream sprinkles with brownie bits on top. They have amazing waffle cone options I have yet to see at any other place. I'll have to try their fruity pebbles milkshake next time because wow, doesn't that sound so yummy? No matter what you get, you won't be disappointed! Plus they let you sample before you decide which I appreciated. Great way to end the weekend!
google avatar

Cuazzy N.

Yelp
Found this spot on Yelp and it did not disappoint. Some pretty good ice cream for the kids - service was fast and helpful with sampling some of the flavors. We tried the mint, strawberry and sherbet. Would come back to try other ones.
google avatar

Andria M.

Yelp
Best late night ice cream spot in sj hands down! They get fairly busy at night, even on week nights. Located in a plaza so parking is fairly easy. Their black sesame ice cream, slightly tasting like peanut butter, will always be my favorite. Another one of my favorites is the Cali berry, which is a strawberry milk shake, super thick and flavorful, definitely top tier.
google avatar

Corinna C.

Yelp
Been coming here for years as our dentist is right next door!! Hah!! Love the variety of ice cream flavors here. They also have the non dairy sorbet, milkshake, even the bubble waffle!!! Definitely heaven for ice cream lovers. Service is great. They also have the buy 10 get 1 free punch card!

Andy K.

Yelp
I enjoyed my experience yesterday in the new Bakersfield location but that one has no Yelp presence. Here is the review for that location: Sweet spot! Pun intended. Went to Cones and a water ice spot broke out. Back East delicious Italian water ice. And they have ice creams etc that look great. I'm a water ice guy. Had the Blue Raspberry which is usually too sweet. This one was just the right amount of tart. Delicious. Friendly new business. Clean and bright. Soft opening and they seem ready. Can't wait to taste the cherry. Tried the mango which I liked and the raspberry that tasted like it was all simply fresh berry. I went for the tart though. Always love a tart!!! Owners have another spot in San Jose but they live here. Come and give the place a turn!! Another ice cream pun-oh my!! Pause for a convo with one of the owners.....Oh snap just had the just made cherry!! Awesome!!

Yelp
One of my favorite ice cream places in the alum rock area! They have a variety of flavors and consistent quality. I've been here a couple of times now and the staffs are always nice. My go-to flavors are pistachio and black sesame. The pistachio ice cream is not too sweet and has nice chunks of pistachios in it. I always grab a pint of this. The black sesame is also pretty good. You can taste the sesame flavor and it's not drowned in sweetness. I would avoid getting a cake here. I ordered one of their birthday cakes and was disappointed with what they made. The cake was super dense and dry with very minimal ice cream.

Scott S.

Yelp
Had a two scoop cup ('better'), wife had one scoop. I am a sweet junkie, and ice cream fiend trying to reform over the years. Point being, I have experience.... The ice cream here is truly super premium as they advertise. Good selection of flavors, toppings, and how you eat it (cookie, cup, waffle cone, shake etc) We both enjoyed our cups very much. Highly recommended, even if a bit pricey. I'd go over the flavors we tried but the flavors may not be a consistent menu. They claim a hundred flavors but the case fits approximately sixteen, so... They're swapping out selections frequently, which may add to their mystique- you rave about your strawberry cone to a friend but if they want it they better get down there or call and see if still available. Four stars because everything seems perfect but the price per scoop is hard to take if you're not bucks up during this week's craving...worth a splurge now and then for sure.

Selena A.

Yelp
Ice cream is sooo good here!! Please bring back the Mexican hot chocolate Definitely recommend

Yelp
I came here with my friends and I was pleased by the service! This is actually my second time coming here. This is a cute small business that provides an ample number of dessert options! There are milkshakes, gelato, ice cream, ice cream tubs, and numerous toppings and cones to choose from. Many of their flavors are unique, too. Some of the flavors I remember seeing were Pistachio, Madagascar Vanilla, Birthday Cake, Cereal, Strawberry, and Mint Chocolate Chip. Unfortunately, some of my allergies are wheat, sesame, and banana allergies, so I could not try their black sesame flavor, specialty banana brownie flavor, and flavors that have cookies in it, such as Cookies and Cream and Cookie Dough, but I was still able to select from a lot of other options! My friends were however able to select some of those ice cream options, and all of them loved their flavors! My other friend ordered their milkshake and enjoyed it a lot. I ended up picking a scoop of their flavor "Sugar and Spice." One scoop of ice cream is $4.50 (without tax). Two and three scoops of ice cream turns out to be $7-9 I believe, so you get a better deal the more you buy. I'll probably order larger servings in the future when I save room for dessert. The ice cream flavor I got was decent; it actually just reminded me of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal in ice cream flavor, so next time I think I would like to try another flavor that might be more exceptional. There is no indoor seating, just outdoor, which I preferred and felt comfortable with because of the health risks at this time. I took off a star because I would prefer that the employees wear masks during COVID because this is the food industry, but other than that, it was a wonderful, cute business and the employees were very kind and helpful.

Araceli B.

Yelp
Raylina was very friendly and went above and beyond with her service! I love their banana brownie ice cream!

Yelp
We came in at about 9 o'clock with four children. Service was a lot slower than usual. Every order that we gave our server she had a attitude and didn't seem very pleased that we were ordering more ice cream's she kept asking "anything else" and when we gave the next order she was just disinterested and made us feel like we were doing something wrong ordering five small kids ice cream scoops. Another server came out and made a comment that if people were going to be standing in the ice cream shop they needed to form a line, but the tone that he said it in was a very disrespectful tone as well. The worker seem to be very agitated and upset that a rush of people came in. I ended up paying $35 for six ice cream's. I'm a paying customer and your workers should be happy people are coming into your establishment. I left tonight very upset about the experience. For the price I can go to Costco and buy 5 tubs of ice cream and be greeted with a smile from every single employee at the dam place, or I could go to McDonald's and be told with a smile the ice cream machines down but at least they are happy to have a job. Or I could go to Chick-fil-A and be told god bless you with a dam smile and feel the grace of god. (except on Sunday of course). As a paying customer if I come into your establishment and spend $35 on ice cream, I expect the servers to have a very bright smile on their faces while they serve me my over priced ice cream. I've come to this place for years and never have had this type of customer service. If the rush of people is too much for your servers to handle then you needs to hire more servers. To keep up with the rush of people and demand. Oh BTW the ice cream wasn't even out for display so it took some time to read the list of ice cream. Oh btw your shops falling apart, your roof panels are even falling down. I hope you can get it together because that was some of the rudest stuff I've ever had to encounter.

Yelp
A very expensive and I'd say overrated spot. Definitely somewhat messy to eat, but there is a interesting array of flavors. A scoop is $4.50 while two scoops is $7. Add any toppings? An extra $0.75 cents. The sugar cone was a good price though for $0.50. Definitely definitely, and I repeat, get it in a cup if you hate getting ice cream soup on your hands. The cashier was kind enough to get me a plate for my cone since my flavor (birthday cake on the right) was runny and drippy. My sister loved her flavors which was the blackberry cake (I believe) but from my personal preference, I wasn't too big of the birthday cake flavor. I really dislike chunky, runny ice cream and it went down my hands, and there was these dry cake pieces in there. I also got a sugar cone, which was pretty bomb! One aspect that they don't slack on is the flavors. They get new flavors weekly, and we conveniently went on a birthday cake flavor week. It's pretty cool hearing about how they swap out flavors and all, so it's definitely a great spot to try out some niche ice cream flavors. Overall, although it's expensive and overrated in my opinion, it's really good for a once in a while experience if you wanna pop in to try out different flavors.

Yelp
It was sooo good forgot to take photos... The waffle was fresh & delicious. We tried couple of flavors and ordered 4 scoops, all had really good flavor. Really enjoyed it. Banana, Toasted Almond, Black Sesame, Pistachio

Yelp
Found this gem right nice to my house , parking is a little spotty so I parked towards the grocery store and walked. Service was great, samples are available and I tried about 3 flavors. Lots of options from cones to toppings to ice cream flavor. I normally am a one scoop person but the cookie butter, toasted almond and their signature banana brownie were very good. Not too sweet for me and each had a little texture but creamy. We also ordered a pint of the matcha green tea to go and my daughter finished in 2 days. Definitely want to come back and try other flavors
google avatar

Jill P.

Yelp
We love all the flavors here and there's always something new. The Italian ice flavors are delicious also. All the employees we have encountered have been friendly and helpful!
google avatar

Reena S.

Yelp
The ice cream is super creamy and fresh. The strawberry has flecks of real strawberry in it. The birthday cake has sprinkles and bits of cake. Rocky road is made with almonds instead of walnuts, but it was still very good. The other flavors tried was cookie butter, almond crunch, and pistachio. We sampled black sesame, which was unique and accurate, but not for us. We will definitely be back, for our double scoops in a delicious waffle cone! Yum!

Yelp
3.5* factoring in price. Sweet Fix was super hyped up for me since I've read all these awesome reviews. And while I don't think it's THAT good, I can see why people love it. I came here around 7:30pm and there were still tons of people waiting outside. Once we got inside, I ordered a double scoop in a unicorn cone with banana brownie and maple walnut. My boyfriend got the Cali Berry (strawberry) milkshake and a snickerdoodle. The total was around $17. I thought the maple walnut was average, a solid 3/5. I didn't taste much maple at all, and all I noticed were the walnut pieces. The banana brownie however was really tasty, mostly because of the banana ice cream which tastes super fresh and creamy. I would pass on the brownie part of it and maybe just get banana ice cream next time. My boyfriend's strawberry milkshake was pretty tasty although I don't think it was that special. The snickerdoodle was also yummy, but again, nothing to write home about. My boyfriend also tried the cotton candy ice cream and said it was not good, probably because this place doesn't use artificial flavors, and how do you make cotton candy without artificial flavors? I do love the variety of flavors but I wish they were even more exciting. I would love to see an ube or halo halo ice cream. There was also no matcha ice cream when I went :( I also love the ever-changing variety of cones they have. My unicorn cone was a mix of red and blue mixed batter and tasted like red velvet maybe? They also had a cookies and cream cone and an ube cone that I really want to try. However this place is definitely pricey. A double scoop costs $6.75 and with a fancy cone ($2) and toppings ($0.50) you're looking at nearly a $10 ice cream. I might come here again if I'm in the area, but I don't know if driving all the way from Milpitas is worth it. I used to work at Baskin Robbins and honestly their ice cream is just as tasty, maybe not as creamy, but it hits the same spot.

Yelp
Definitely missing the old owner. Her cleanliness and everything really held this place together. The fridges are not stocked well anymore , the place is dirty, the area where the Italian Ice is is broken, prices rising. Sucks. Please bring back the old owner! Her strictness with her employees as well really held this place together. New owners just seem like they wanted this place because it was really busy all the time. But the way they're running it, it won't be for long.

Yelp
An ice cream place is great in my book if it makes me want to take my family here to try... and this place meets the standard! The consistency of the ice cream here was TOP NOTCH - firm, thick, and so, so, creamy! I am looking forward to coming back here to sample the other unique flavors. I didn't catch her name, but it was a Hispanic gal with a tattoo on her left forearm that helped my brother, two kiddos and myself. It was our first time here and she couldn't have been any more helpful nor patient with us and telling us the flavors of the month and the Italian ice. I think I also saw the owner passing by from door to door behind the counter making the ice cream while we were sampling the flavors as well. This confirms the fact that "ice cream is made in house" when she was helping us, and it cannot be any more true, which isn't something you get in the Bay Area often! Back when I was in Italy, the gelato owners say ice cream/gelato is made without artificial ingredients if the colors don't look so vibrant. The one that I KNEW was made "true to taste" was their pistachio since it wasn't at all green and was white. I wish I got a chance to sample this one, but I was more intrigued by their flavors. I tried the Black Sesame and Guava, and it was so delicious and tasted so real. Thankfully my first time here was with "good customer service" but as ice cream patrons in general, BE KIND to ice cream shop workers (and workers in general)! Most of them are starting off their first job(s) or have been trying to meet demand with labor shortage due to the pandemic! Contrary to some of the reviews here, I believe the price is fair and accounts for the cost of the supply used for the demand of the ice cream. As long as the taste is consistent and executed perfectly every time, then there's no reason to complain if the ice cream meets your expectations. I can't wait to take my family here, and hope that the patience and awesome customer service received here is executed the same way as our ice creams were next time!

Yelp
This place is an unassuming shop in a generic looking strip mall but don't let that daunt you from trying out their sugary treats! When we entered the creamery, the waitstaff asked us if it was our first time there, and then went on to walk us through the regulars and the flavors of the month. I got the Frappuccino Almond Crackle in an Ube flavored waffle cone and my friends got the Walnut Chocolate Cake in waffle cones. Both were flavors of March so it was a no brainer to try them out. The frappe almond was outrageously good. The homemade crackle was scrumptious and the intermingling of the coffee flavor with bits of almond was oomph! My friends liked their ice creams too. They were described as being a bit bitter coz of the walnut, but the flavor grew on them and by the end, the ice cream was described as being a hit out of the park. 10/10 would go back again!

Yelp
Really good spot for ice cream! The flavors are really good. I have not found many places in Northern California with cookie butter. I also liked the coffee ice cream. Flavors were legit. The first time I went, the texture seemed a bit on melting side. Was not terrible, but I feel like ice cream should be more rich and thick. I really liked the graham cracker waffle cone. Super unique. I'm a huge graham cracker guy. Second time, texture was for sure better. Great ice cream that passes. If you're craving some ice cream, this place does the job. It's like 3.5. Will come back.

Yelp
I'm pretty glad to have found this place as I love a good ice cream place with unique flavors. I got the Banana Brownie after trying a sample of it. If you love eating chocolate chip banana bread, then you should definitely get this flavor. Taking a bite of this ice cream is literally like taking a bite into a piece of chocolate chip banana bread. The ice cream itself is banana flavored and they mixed in some brownie pieces... which made the texture better in my opinion. My one complaint is that the portion size is really small so I ran out of ice cream way too quickly. So next time I would probably get a double scoop and then try a different flavor too.

Yelp
If you like cookie butter, you will LOVE their cookie butter flavor. It's a little expensive for a single scoop but it was worth it!

Yelp
We visited this establishment last night. It was busy, staff was friendly. As for the ice cream? It was good but nothing to write home about. The milkshakes are too pricey. I got the Willy Wonka. Very runny, nothing too special. Flavor was pretty plain.
