If you’re looking for some live music then this is a great place, whether you’re wanting just drinks or food to accompany. I turned up early evening without a reservation so was only able to sit at the bar, but this provided great service from the friendly staff. There’s a nice food menu and a couple of the appetisers gave the perfect snack I was looking for. The catfish fingers and prawns were sizeable, hot and very tasty. There’s a good range of draught drinks available too. It’s not the cheapest of places, and they levy a $10 charge for the live music at 7pm, even if you get the bill at 7:01pm, but if you’re hanging around for the evening then that’s not too bad. A nice place and a good spot to catch up with friends.

We share a tables with strangers and by end of night were friends. The musician was awesome. The food was great! First time trying the dish i had. Will go there again when in Atlanta. My boyfriend and I came here for our date after a lovely time at the aquarium. We were very hungry and excited to try what downtown had to offer. This is out first time out here so we had little to no expectations. When we first walked in the host was rude to my boyfriend when we said we didn’t have a reservation. We had to sit at the bar top because of it. The bartender was nice and she made a yummy cocktail (suge 75). We ordered the salmon cakes as an appetizer, I got the smothered Pork chop and my boyfriend got the peach glazed salmon and a extra side of mac and cheese. To our surprise everything was bland and flavorless. The green beans were so mushy, the mash looked like it was sitting for a long time, the salmon was very small for being $27 and also the side of mac was small for it being $8. My pork chop was okay, I think the gravy was the most flavor on my plate. $97 for two people and we left feeling extremely disappointed. They are very adamant about being a card only establishment, which as someone in the service industry, is strange to me. I will say the atmosphere and music was nice at the very least. I don’t recommend coming here unless you’re coming for alcoholic drinks and live music.

We enjoyed the Shrimp & Grits, Braised short ribs "Pot Roast" & Caesar salad. Great vibe here. Our server was Will. He did a great job and was very attentive. The musical act was Carlton & One Nation Express I think. They were great. Selections from Ben E. King, Guy, New Edition, & more. This was my husband's first visit. He enjoyed it so much he wants to bring everyone here. We opted to valet park. I'm not sure where the self-parking lot is, but I know there is one. It maybe on the side street. I'm not sure.

Let's be clear, this is not a Juke Joint, that's false advertisement. They handle themselves like an upscale jazz club and require that "men" remove their hats. Which is weird. I expected to see fedoras and schoolboy hats but no hats and that's not on the site. There is also an unsaid 10 live entertainment fee, they don't charge you at the door. It's a surprise fee. Whoever is owner is is confused about what a Juke Joint is apparently. Came with the expectations of hearing some down home blues at least but no. The live entertainment was great , but it didn't fit the name of the club at all. Definitely won't be coming back. I won't even talk about how long it took for them to bring out our food. Very happy our party went from 10 people to 5. Would've been embarrassed to bring that many people and have such an lackadaisical experience. False advertisement at its best.

Entertainment and Atmosphere was Great! The band was Amazing!! I really enjoyed my self. The food was pretty good as well. I definitely be back when I come back to visit Atlanta. Worth every penny spent!

Google
What an experience. Loved the food. By far best and super tasty southern eats. Music after 7pm for us and $10/person for the additional band performance. My daughter and I had a grand night before heading back to Canada 🥰

Google
My friends and I visited Juke Joint right when they opened at 5:30 PM, and we were seated promptly with no wait – a great start to the evening. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the vibe had that laid-back Southern charm. The hostess informed, after seven there was live music & an extra five dollars per person at the table. Our server, Maren, was excellent – friendly, efficient, and on point with her recommendations and timing. She made sure our orders were accurate and checked in just enough to make us feel taken care of without being overbearing. As for the food, the Southern-style dishes hit the mark overall – really surprised by the collard greens ! They were my personal favorite. However, a few disappointments did take the experience down a notch. They were out of ALL draft beer, bourbon glazed sweet potatoes and banana pudding – two staples I was genuinely looking forward to – were also unavailable. (which was odd because they just opened at 5 PM) I’d definitely give Juke Joint another shot

Yelp
I made the reservation on OpenTable, I was a few minutes late from arriving late from a road trip so it took about 10 minutes to be seated. Before seating we were told it's cashless and there is $10 entertainment fee. Once seated our server Ty greeted us and was swift with getting our drinks and food order, she helped with choosing a dish, she was nice. The food came out at a nice timely manner, made fried chicken dish was delish! Nice and crispy with a hint and sweetness that made it even better; my Mac n cheese got better with every bite! The collard greens paired well with both! The food overall was like Sunday dinner. What they call "comfort food". My drink was also good! Now the entertainment; was better than I expected ! I'm sorry I can't remember the name Of the lady singing or the band but they were worth it! Definitely was good vibes & if I'm ever back in the A, I'll be sure to visit again.

Yelp
A friend decided to have her birthday dinner here on a Friday night and for a group of 12, I can genuinely say not one person had a good experience. When I arrived, I stopped by the hostess stand and there was no one there but one of the staff members walked over and I felt that they were already over being at work. Once I let them know I was with a party, I was told that there were a few others that had arrived but since the whole party was not there, we would need to wait which was no problem at all. The issue came when after 45 minutes past our reservation time, we were still not seated. Since this was not my function, I sat and waited to see how things would progress and it only got worse from there. There were plenty of open seats available at the bar but the bartender told us that we could not sit at the bar since we were with a big group and would need to wait to be seated to order a drink if we wanted one. Odd. Not only were there seats available at the bar but there were also empty tables near the bar that I thought maybe we would be sat at but nope. Almost an hour past the reservation time and we were finally seated. At this point I was hungry and holding onto my pleasant demeanor in hopes that the things would get better. We were seated right next to the stage and while the band was really good, the speaker blasting right beside the table was not fun. Our waitress tried her absolute best to take of our group all by herself but she also had other tables and didn't look like she had much help so I felt really bad for her. Anyway the music helped keep the night going but by time we got our food, we had been there two hours. I ordered a water, sweet tea (never got it), and we had a southern starter for the table but I also ordered the salmon cakes ($16) and a side of Mac n cheese ($8) for myself. I tried one of the fried green tomatoes from the starter and the fried onions but the tomatoes were missing seasoning and barely fried. The food situation only got worse from there. My Mac n cheese was extremely salty but the salmon cakes were lacking seasoning and were just poorly made. I ended up not eating anything and sent everything back outside of the stuff from the starter since I didn't order it. We did let the waitress know that we were not happy with the food and she attempted to get a manager to our table but no one ever showed. Next thing I know she lets me know my bill was being comped which I was pleased with because this was a pretty bad situation. While parking was validated for 2 hours, we went well over the allotted time because of all the waiting and I ended up having to pay. Not sure if it's because they were short staffed or if this was just an "off night" but I do not seeing myself willing coming here ever again. Hopefully management will see how hard the folks are working and figure out how to resolve some of these issues.

Yelp
Sam is the best! Served up delicious fried chicken wings, cocktails with top notch service. Let's not forget the amazing ambience with wonderful soul food sounds from every genre. I highly suggest checking this place out. Thanks Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint! Happy 4th of July! RG1

Yelp
Man we had fun here. The food was very good also. But the music was the best. To hear a live band and singer was great. You can here the music from any where in the restaurant but to sit in the area where the band is they charge you.

Yelp
The live band was amazing as always, however, everything else has gone downhill. We made a reservation for 9pm but when we arrived there were no tables available. The hostess tried her best to get a few people who were past their time limit on their table to leave but it was a struggle. We eventually found seats at the bar. I ordered fried chicken and macaroni. The Chicken was good but the quality of the macaroni was not good. The flavor wasn't vivid and I could hardly taste the gouda. It will be a while b4 I give it another try.

Yelp
Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint was selected by my teammates (most of whom never visited the south and were wanting southern comfort food.) Our server Sam yielded EXCELLENT service, he went over and beyond ensuring my colleagues received southern hospitality (thank you Sam.) The staff also went over and beyond to create the "Juke Joint" experience with a live performer and DJ. The only downside was the menu was limited and offered nothing for vegans, and very limited options for vegetarians. The establishment was clean, the service, and ambiance was great; if you're in walking distance and with a large group this restaurant is a good option.

Yelp
Positive points: atmosphere was inviting, the food was fine and our server was pleasant. Negatives: Long intervals between ordering and receiving at every point. One person had finished the main dish when his side order of sprouts arrived, with no apology or offer to take it off the bill (they were left uneaten). Our reservation was for 6:00, though we were early we were seated a few minutes after 6:00. I had ordered a glass of wine which took around 15 minutes to come out. I was trying to finish it when a worker said our 2 hour limit was up and we needed to leave although it was 7:50. When I politely protested that we had paid the $10 cover and we still had 10 minutes left on our 2 hour limit. For the first time ever I asked for a manager and was told she was the manager and she is asking us to leave her establishment. So also for the first time ever I was thrown out of a restaurant. Gotta say, the food didn't make up for the negatives. When the 2 hour limit runs up against slow service they don't have a plan.

Yelp
This is a dope spot for live music. I'd actually been here before but I hadn't come for the live music. I was actually down the street and I came just then to get a drink while I was waiting for an event to start. So if you're in a downtown area, and need some live entertainment, this is going to be a good spot for you. They have what I would assume would be comfort or soul food all up and down the menu. Parking, you can park anywhere around if you can find parking but they have valet. And I think valet is like $10 or something, so it's not that expensive. I talked to the guy and he had my car parked out front so I can come right out the door, of course I tip him accordingly. You'll come in and be able to see the stage and the plethora seats that they have. If you look to the right, you'll be greeted by the hostess and you can check in. I did that and then I waited at the bar. It's a pretty nice size bar, not really big though, but it has plenty of things to pick from. They have a lot of spicy drinks. I did want something with espresso and they didn't have that so I tried something else. I'll detail that a little bit lower in the review. The bartender was super cool and we chatted up for a little bit while she had the time. I will also say they had TVs at the bar but don't expect it to be a sports bar situation. They're literally a couple TVs so if you have a big group trying to watch a game this will not be a good spot for it. My table was called and in I was able to sit down and got a decent seat. The entertainment, fortunately, started actually in on time fashion. Which sometimes you really hate to get a show that starts at 7:00 and then you don't actually get to see anything until 7:30. They started on time and he started off with some hits. He sang a myriad of different songs so it kind of has something to appeal for everybody. I thought that was great. He took it in a mission break, which is okay, then he came back and killed it a little bit more. Tow. At the end of the night they started dancing in front of the stage, because the weight staff got pretty active and got pretty involved in the show. Encourage other people to do the same so I thought that was pretty cool. We see they really had a good time. Anyway, I thought that the food was okay. The service was okay too. Even though I will say that a few times took a while to get refills. And they forgot something on my order. It happens, I am in the service industry so I understand how that goes, it was just something to note that the last time that I went, they weren't on their A game when it came to that. My first drink was an old fashioned, it was pretty good. My second drink was de Uncle nearest signature cocktail. Which was okay, it may have been a little bit sweet and tangy for me. But of course I drank it because I like Uncle nearest. I wouldn't get that one again. I'd probably just get another old-fashioned. Chicken wings - the wings were pretty good. They were very nice sized wings. They didn't have multiple flavors for them. Which I thought was strange because Atlanta has lemon pepper everything LOL. The waiter tried to gas them up and say that they were better than lemon pepper, clearly he can't have been Southern for that long LOL. But still, they were pretty good. It's just that I would have wished that they had had other flavors versus just taking whatever base flavor the establishment uses. Creole pasta - the Creole pasta is pretty good. It was very flavorful and creamy. Wish it had a little bit more protein in it but what it had in there was okay. You know how you'll eat off of a pasta dish and halfway through. You're already done with the protein and you have nothing but pasta left, that's something you want to avoid. But I'm sure they haven't measured out so I get that. But just saying I wish it had a little bit more or I've been a little bit more balanced. But for the flavor wise, it was nice and flavorful. At the end of the day, I thought it was a good experience the last time I went and I would probably go back. I wouldn't rush for the food because the food was pretty good but I'd rush for the entertainment. The person I had up there shut that joint down. Going from all across the spectrum. I would definitely suggest coming here for entertainment.

Yelp
Ordered buffalo wings in a near empty resteraunt and after waiting 45 minutes I get wings with no sauce that are smaller than my pinky finger. After asking for buffalo sauce on the side, I had to wait 30 minutes before finding out they never had buffalo sauce to begin with. Now I have room temperature underwhelming flavorless wings after an hour and 15 minutes of waiting.

Yelp
#41 of 52 (weeks of trying a new restaurant at least once a week) Was in ATL on business and went with a group of about 20 to eat here. They were very patient and gracious in finding us room to sit all together. There was live music that was good but so loud that it was almost impossible to have a conversation. I was with some people I hadn't seen in years so we were trying to catch up but it was just too loud. For food I ordered the Southern Starter to share with the table. It came with fried green tomatoes, crispy onions and fried okra. All of this was really good. I especially liked the okra and tomatoes. In the South you have to get the fried chicken so I ordered the Juke Joint Fried Chicken and chose collard greens and grits as my sides. I really enjoyed the flavor of the chicken though it was room temperature by the time I got it. I really enjoyed the collard greens and they had a bit of a spice to them. Too full for dessert but glad we gave this place a try.

Yelp
Made our way while in Atlanta to this great little place that has it all! Music some amazing R&B soulful music and great food! We started by sitting in the bar area so we can hear each other talk, then added an appetizer the Southern starter. Followed by The Juke Joints Fried chicken and an order of Jambalaya. Mmmmm Service was bar service so it was the bar tender helping the full bar and our high top. We added hush puppies, creamed corn and Mac cheese. Was so good the fried chicken was drizzled with honey, and the jambalaya had a slight kick to it. Music was excellent and if I could have finished it all I might have exploded!

Yelp
What an amazing and fun experience! There's a $10 fee per person for entertainment, I'm glad the performers are getting paid well. Highly recommended to make a reservation. The service is a slower pace but good overall with the staff attentive to our table once seated. The jambalaya pasta is very good with a good mix of meats and the sauce is really great! I only wished the portion was a little bigger. This is a great place for some local flavors.

Yelp
We were told we'd only have two hours at our table & when our time is up, we'd have to leave. It was a weeknight & we had 6:30PM reservations. No waters. 30 minutes in, the one waitstaff took our party's drink orders. 45 minutes in & less than half our drinks were served. Only a few folks were ever served water. 1 hour in the same & the only one waitstaff finally took our orders from the fixed menu that was specific for our group. 1 1/2 hours in & there was still only one waitstaff to bring out appetizers, all of which were lukewarm at best. 2 hours in, we got our salads. Almost 3 hours in, only some of our dinner entrees started coming out. Several of us asked for our dinners to-go since 3 hours was entirely too long a wait & some of us had long commutes back home. The to-go desserts we ordered were clearly made the week before as indicated by the date written on the bottom of the containers. The bananas were dry & gray & the Nilla wafers were complete & total mush. So, clearly, they tried to pass off week-old Banana Pudding. Literally NOTHING about this dining experience was pleasant & definitely not worth the wait. Their overconfident attitude about their dinning experience did not live up to the hype at all. If you don't know how to manage a large party, then please don't accept the reservation. Inadequate service & poor quality food preparation all-round. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Yelp
I don't write these often but felt compelled solely because of their Mac & cheese. It is awful (fried chicken was decent). They managed to do the impossible and ruin Mac & cheese. I'll tell ya more, the cheese wasn't even melted and it tasted like it was infused with some essential oil! Also can't wear hats and got charged a music fee which is fine but like I just wanted to eat at bar and dip. Definitely go somewhere else if you want southern food.

Yelp
Overall I had a good experience. The vibe was really nice. I'm a fan of live music. And I'm a bigger fan of R&B and Soul music (the genre performed by the artist that night). My server, Ty, was knowledgeable about the menu. She provided good food and drink recommendations and great service. I had the fried chicken plate. The portion sizes were good but I prefer my fried chicken with a little less breading.
google avatar

Dane B.

Yelp
Food was not to my taste and portion preferences. For appetizers we had salmon cakes and chicken wings. Wings were hot and fresh and they were whole wings. Salmon cakes were average. For entrees we had fried chicken and meatloaf. The meatloaf was not only a very small portion, but it was a bit salty and overcooked. The fried chicken wasn't bad and was a large portion. The yams were good and the Mac and cheese was average.
google avatar

Zachary M.

Yelp
The food was way too salty and tasted burnt. The service was terribe most of the staff looked like they didn't want to be there and couldn't care less about doing a good job. The band was just okay, nothing special. And the manager had a bad attitude and acted like he had something to prove.
google avatar

Victorial B.

Yelp
We went here for a birthday celebration for a friend. They were told they could bring in balloons and gift bags. We got there and we couldn't bring/have either. Then they advised we couldn't wear hats. They had an 89 health code rating so a few of us decided not to eat. Those who did eat, ordered fried chicken and waffles which came out within 5-10 minutes of ordering, hence the food wasn't fresh. The live music was nice, however.

Yelp
First time here from Cali. Ox tail was off the chain. The jambalaya was amazing as well. Go overboard and dip into the peach cobbler! Service was on point and the music is as well. Great evening!

Yelp
About a 1-1.5: We checked out Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint as a group for an early dinner; note that nowhere on the site is it mentioned that each member of your party will get charged $5 for the 'live music', automatically, added to your check. Also, you have a limit of 2 hours at your table. Getting seated was prompt, and we had a pretty good view of the stage and the performers without much obstruction. The menu is very limited, but they do 'run out' of items (aka, not prepared on time); we went the first day that they had opened for the week, and they were already out of several entrees... I tried: +the Fried Green Tomatoes - the batter was overfried, and the tomatoes were just not ripened nor were they cooked long enough +Juke Cheeseburger - I actually wanted to try their Braised Short Rib, but they were out; the burger itself was okay, as it came with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions, served with a side of fries; the fries were not made-to-order, as they were cold and soggy Our server was inattentive and rarely checked in on us. She also was not detail-oriented and didn't really listen; she carelessly dropped off dessert that no one ordered, and then tried to blame it on us... really? The only decent part of this experience was the live music. In between sets, they played old-school music videos. The place is a bit dark, and definitely could use a deep clean. Definitely not worth a visit. +inattentive service +inaccurate orders +$5 automatic 'cover charge' per person for live music

Yelp
I stopped by Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint in Atlanta during a conference with my coworkers. I had the oxtail, rice and collard greens. Everything was delicious. The wait time was almost 2 hours for a table. So we sat down at the bar instead which wasn't great for conversation as a large group. The server, though, was very efficient and kind.

Yelp
My daughter chose this place for her birthday dinner because she wanted to experience live entertainment. The ATL Connection performed with Londee The Artist, and put on a great show. Londee made my daughter's bday extra special by singing happy birthday to her! The food was pretty good. I had the catfish fingers and Caesar salad. The catfish was cooked and seasoned well. Our server Samuel did a great job of taking care of us. He was attentive and friendly. The only downside was that we made a reservation, but still had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated. Other than that, we had a great time.
google avatar

Dawn E. O.

Yelp
Ty was amazing! Her service was top tier, with great suggestions for first time visitors like myself. I appreciated the timeliness of the food and appetizers. I didn't like that we were seated at the door but wasn't given an opportunity to sit elsewhere but others (same party size) were, which was not fair. Loved the vibe, can't wait to return when there's live music! I'll be back, Ty definitely made it an experience!

Yelp
It was just OK. The staff were super friendly. The coffee was good. I ordered the Fried Chicken & Eggs with green beans. The eggs were cooked as requested, but contained cheese which I didn't ask for - seemed like it was "left over" on the grill. The chicken was well seasoned but a little salty. The green beans were super garlicky and really good. They charge $5 "entertainment fee" after 1pm - it was a guy playing a keyboard and singing covers of 90s R&B. A fee seems like nickel and diming - just add $1 to each menu item. Went here bcz it was convenient. Probably wouldn't go back.

Yelp
This was a nice little spot downtown to listen to live music. Our party ordered a ton of food but some of the dishes were too salty to eat. My beef short ribs were so salty that I took a few bites and just couldn't eat it. One of our party said the mashed potatoes were salty as well. The best dish was the fried chicken and the salmon came in second. The hushpuppies were really good. If you do go here I suggest sticking to drinks and music.

Yelp
Came here on a Tuesday night around 6pm for dinner. We were told it was a 2 hour seating reservation since it apparently gets popping and because there was live music at 7pm we would be charged a five dollar entertainment fee per person. All of this was fine. We had heard super good reviews so we were excited. The music was fire. My group of 5 really had a good time singing and dancing and enjoying the music. The entertainment was a Black woman singer and her band. Unfortunately the name eludes me but they deserve their roses. The atmosphere was okay. A little shocking. We expected a juke joint and a contagious energy full of love and family and good vibes. When we got there it was 98 percent white people and the energy was flat. It was super quiet despite it being pretty full. There was a conference in town and we imagine thats why there wasn't a lot of diversity there. Which is cool. But didn't really match our expectations. I'm assuming it was just for this week. Which leads to the most disappointing part of the whole night. The food. The reviews of the food did not match what we ate. It felt like it lacked a lot of seasoning which my group is attributing to the staff shifting their recipes to cater to the people who came to the conference. It honestly tasted a lil bland. Like they pulled back from using too much paprika. I refuse to believe that's how it always taste. So I'm assuming it was a different recipe for the week. We all ordered something different and shared family style. I ordered the catfish and grits which was the star of the show. The grits was cold but the catfish was cooked to perfection. Others ordered the chicken and waffles. The jumbulya. Fried pickles. And others. All of which was underwhelming. To end on a high note. The staff couldn't have been better. We felt the southern hospitality for sure. I wouldn't change a thing with them. Lakendra was our waitresses and she held us down. The drinks were also delicious. We had a few Ms Celia's each and some whiskey and some wine and that made the night fun. I'll be in Atlanta again in a few months and I'll give this place another try to retry the food which was a 2 star. But until then I'll give it three stars because the music and the staff made it a great experience.

Yelp
The best gumbo I've ever had!!! The rice portion wasn't as big as I had seen in the other photos, but that's fine. The amazing taste and flavor of the gumbo was enough to make this experience amazing. There is a $10 charge per person when there is live music and I believe that money goes towards the performers which is awesome. I do wish they had mentioned that on their website though. The hush puppies were great, but the tangy aioli didn't pair well with the sweetness of the hush puppies (although my fiancé disagrees and loved it with them). Service was great and the live music made this a great experience. The place is very clean and has a fun vibe.

Yelp
We had an amazing time! We enjoyed our food, the music was great and the live band was awesome! We laughed and talked and really enjoyed ourselves. However, we waited 20 min to be seated and we had a reservation. We'll return I'm sure.

Yelp
This was our second time coming to Sweet Georgia's Jukebox joint. The food is southern American with creole influences. It's called a "juke joint" because they have live band performances on Friday and Saturday nights (not sure what they have during the week). They open at 5pm and sometimes ask for a $5 entertainment fee (which they add to your bill) because of the band. It's pretty cool as people will get up and dance in the small area near the stage. The music is typically 80s -"and 90s R&B. It's definitely a good place for a date or to bring people who aren't from Atlanta looking to experience some of the culture .

Yelp
The food, entertainment, atmosphere and service was awesome! We always have dinner here at least once whenever we visit the ATL! Reservations are strongly recommended if you want to a good seat for the entertainment surprisingly, our walk-in wait time, was only 20 minutes. Never had a bad meal here!!!

Yelp
Very nice establishment! I loved the live entertainment. My drink was perfect. The service was good. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my oxtail entree. There was way too much garlic for my taste. I would go again just for the drinks and entertainment. To be fair, others in my group loved the oxtail dish.

Yelp
It's a whole vibe at Sweet Lorraine's My girlfriend and I flew to Atlanta for a one night stay to celebrate her birthday! Choosing to have dinner here highlighted the evening! It's very rare to hear genuine live bands with a Soulful vibe and captivating energy! I loved all the Old School mixed with Rhythm & Blues sounds. Our Server Tye was very friendly and has a beautiful aura. I appreciate her attentiveness and service and hope she's there we I return again! I ordered the Fried Chicken with Collard Greens, and Macaroni & Cheese! It was ‍‍‍‍ It's definitely a 10 out of 10! The crust of the chicken was extra crispy, yet the breast and wings were juicy on the inside! I prefer only white meat chicken and it's sometimes overcooked and dry so kudos to the Chef It was served hot and fresh! The birthday girl enjoyed the Oxtails but was not very fond of the green beans. They were just typical out of a can. That would be the only non-positive comment because overall the experience was amazing! When I'm in town again I know where I'm going

Yelp
We loved this place! Went on a Wednesday night with our 2 kids! Apps and entrees were delicious! We had bacon wrapped shrimp and hush puppies - plates were cleaned up quick as we were hungry and really enjoyed the apps. The rib roast was amazing and everyone had some and loved it. The fried chix dinner was SO delicious and hit the southern soul food fix we all had! We also ordered the peach-tini and old fashioned which were very tasty! Our server Tony was great with all his recommendations! We ended with the peach cobbler and choc cake! The cobbler was a big hit and our youngest loved the choc cake! The live music was SO entertaining and had our family moving and grooving the whole meal! We will definitely go back when in ATL again!

Yelp
Don't arrive early...I had a reservation for 11am at the Sunday Brunch and was told they are not open yet at 10:54am. I left and walked up and down the street. Be ready for guest before open at the bar. You missed revenue. Luckily, music mix was good, not live, but Juke worthy. My server made up for the open rudeness at the bar...Ty thank you! Down South cocktail was really good-recommended would probably have another if not driving today. Coffee strong & good. Salmon cakes with cheese grits and eggs, really good! Added Mac and cheese on the side-wow! Ended with warm peach cobbler and dumped vanilla ice cream on top...definitely a good recommendation from Ty. Oh starred to return another DAY! Next time with live music!

Yelp
I just happened to stop in here during my weekend in Atlanta. It was absolute fire! I ate at the bar and the service was amazing. Great drinks and the best homestyle cooking I've ever had. Also the bread pudding was amazing. Also the cherry on top was the top notch entertainment. I will stop in here every time I'm in Atlanta from now on!

Yelp
I enjoyed this place for my first time that we didn't want to leave. our waitress Ty was fantastic, her energy just made the experience wonderful. The music just added to the experience. The place had a warm feeling and just really felt so good vibes. The food was great my husband had chicken, collard greens and Mac and cheese. I had glazed peach on top of salmon with string beans and Brussel spouts. Had no run for dessert.

Yelp
First time here. Sunday after church live music started at 1 pm.bottomless Mimosas. The service was great we were advised it was a 2 hour table limit ( start once you sit down) by the hostess when we arrived. Our waitress was good and her demeanor was great as well. The drinks were good. The food was good as well. The atmosphere was laid back and vibing

Yelp
Although I love a nice Jazz band setup, the food was subpar. Overhyped in my opinion. My first order was a 2pc chicken with sides. I had slim pickings with sides because most had pork in it. The chicken was bland and soggy. I sent it back and ordered the Fish and grits. It was better than my first entree but the veggies took over the plate of grits. I wanted an alcoholic beverage but they way there selections are setup through the app, it ended up being $30 for a margarita! I quickly deleted it and drank water.

Yelp
Amazing service and food. Original plan was to go somewhere else but thought this looked interesting so we stopped in. The atmosphere was elegant but relaxed. The staff was very friendly and outgoing. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was by far the best I've ever had. I like the no hat rule for gentlemen. Very classy joint. Will be going back next time I'm in town for an event!

Yelp
So my spouse and I met a birthday party at this location. I ordered an old-fashion that was $16. When the bill came it was $36. We were charged $10 per person for an "entertainment fee". There was a live band, why is that cost passed on to me. I was not aware of an entertainment fee. There is no signage nor did the server advise us of this fee. I will not return to this restaurant. The old fashion was definitely not worth $36.

Yelp
We went here on a Saturday night and there was a long wait. It seems to be popular with locals. We were able to snag a few stools at the bar which was great instead of waiting over an hour. The bartenders were friendly and took our food order as soon as we were ready. I had the fried chicken and it was crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. It came with macaroni and cheese and collared greens. My husband had the hush puppies and the bacon wrapped shrimp - he thought they were both good. The band playing that night was mostly Motown. They were super loud, so I was glad to be in the bar at the back. The band is projected on several tv screens, so even though we faced away from them - we could still see them. It was a fun night in downtown ATL.

Yelp
I made a reservation for 7ppl for our annual Secret Santa exchange and this restaurant was a big hit! We were seated on time, our waiter was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations in every category. The food was amazing.. made our taste buds dance. The drink and dessert sealed the deal. There was a live band scheduled to play but our reservation was at 5pm so we didn't get to hear them.. I think they started at 8pm. Y'all have to try them out.. you won't be disappointed! I ordered the hush puppies... they were sweet with a little spice, drizzled with honey and came with a dipping sauce and I had the smother pork chop with onions and gravy, the most flavorful rice and creamy creamed corn, peach cobbler a la mode...oh and I can't forget about the Miss Ceely peach moonshine drink! Ask to sit in Samuel section.. he's the best!!!

Yelp
Had a layover in Atlanta and decided to drop in . Food was awful and bland. Came out way too fast (microwaved). Fries were disgusting along with my chicken bacon burger.

Yelp
The ambiance of this restaurant was amazing. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about menu and drink items! The musician was as a Crowd pleaser who played both old and new songs and kept the crowd entertained! Had a lot of fun!

Yelp
The food was gross! Even for airport food. I asked for crispy bacon, that did not happen. The eggs was scrambled waaaay hard. Don't get me started on the "home fries" which was unseasoned undercooked steak fries. And how you mess up toast? Who puts a whole orange slice in a mimosa? Chile please! The best thing about this place was the music and my server. You gotta have a good attitude serving trash ass food.

Yelp
Live music was nice. R&B feel. The staff is friendly. The brussel sprouts were delicious. I did not care for the jambalaya pasta. The Mac and cheese was also tasty and the fried chicken wings with the mambo sauce was also tasty. I enjoyed the million dollar mojito. Nice vibe. Please make a reservation

Yelp
Food: No seasoning but looked pretty Service: Excellent Ambiance: Spectacular Birthday dinner..... Saturday night vibes. Live Music. Old school R&B cover band. The atmosphere was great but to be honest the food lacked seasoning. No salt, no garlic power, just pretty dishes. If the food was better it would have been 5 stars.
