Visiting Eugene we find this gem, open til 10 even on a Sunday. Long line which moved quickly. Incredible selection of unique bakery ans chocolate. We had a Josephine and a coconut cream puff with vanilla crachlin. Both delicious, fresh and amazing. Don’t miss this place. Prices were very fair.

Tiny little place with coffee & dessert options. After we got ice cream @Prince Pucklers we needed a coffee to warm up. Sweet Life Petite has quality coffees available

This place is amaaaazing! The quiche was ridiculously good and the tiramisu was the best I’ve had in Oregon so far (and I customarily order tiramisu everywhere and anywhere I see it on a menu). It’s not the best tiramisu I’ve ever had, but definitely the best tiramisu I’ve had in years. For me, that’s saying a lot. Soooo unbelievably good. I will be back! Love this place. It’s dangerous because everything is so good. Grateful I live farther away so I don’t eat cake every week (like I’d like to!). Check this place out. Great little sweets spot - literally - to try a wide array of desserts and treats!

Google
No foolin'. I have been a fan of Sweet Life for years. After being away for twenty years they are still baking like Mad Women; assuming it is the same owners. And NOW they have a place blocks from where I live. Tiny space showcasing 100% of their baked goods. Excellent planning on their part. The woman behind the counter was wonderfully gracious, exuberant, and helpful in a most professional manner. I did not get your name, l thank you. If this was Tuesday I would have ordered two of everything. As it is Sunday I was able to control myself. I'll be back. In a good way. Not the Terminator way. Blueberry Muffin. Lemon Bar. Blueberry Something Cheesecake. Yea, for me.

Google
Greatest desserts around. However, the petite shop was open but closed coffee down 1 hour prior to close and were rude and unwavering g to accommodate 4 of us who spent quite a lot. We wrnt across the street for the coffee then ate pur desserts at your tables. Very lively except the college girls with attitudes...smh

Google
Been here more times than I can count but the last two times I’ve gone they’ve been beyond rude to the point of almost being mean. Owner: please save yourself future headaches and find new staff at this location/figure out who it is because you make a wonderful product that’s being ruined by staff that could care less.

Google
cozy little place to pick up and eat some delish pastries and coffee! fair amount of outdoor seating here. friendly staff. had a josephine and it was a great experience. just the right amount of sweetness for both the sauce and the cream filling contained under all those satisfying, flakey layers. mmmmmm. also had some black coffee which was decent.

Google
Sweet Life Petite is a charming bakery in Eugene that offers an enchanting array of pastries and chocolates, along with a variety of delightful beverages like coffee, lattes, and matcha. The cozy atmosphere and delightful scents set the perfect stage for a sweet treat. During my visit, I indulged in a few of their standout items. The Cherry Almond Pie featured a delightfully crispy crust that encased the sweet, tart filling perfectly. Although the honey fig petit four was a bit too sweet for my taste, the flavor was undoubtedly delicious and crafted with care. However, the star of the show was the Josephine, a puffed pastry filled with a delightful custard and elegantly topped with a raspberry purée—simply irresistible! To accompany my desserts, I chose a cinnamon latte, which proved to be the perfect complement to the meal. The warm, spicy notes of the latte enhanced the sweet flavors of the pastries, rounding out the experience wonderfully. Sweet Life Petite is a must-visit for anyone in Eugene looking for high-quality pastries in a warm and inviting setting. Whether you're in the mood for something rich and decadent or light and sweet, this bakery is sure to satisfy your cravings.

Yelp
I went here for the first time today after the line at their main location was way too long. I was worried it would be long here too, but when I walked in there was only one person in front of me so I didn't have to wait at all. I got four things today: a slice each of the the pomegranate champagne cake, the tiramisu, and the raspberry cheesecake, and a chocolate strawberry cupcake. The person who helped me was super nice and helpful and quickly got me what I wanted. The cashier was ready to find me up immediately. I was in and out in less than five minutes. As always, the treats I got were amazing. I got them all for Valentine's Day so my partner and I split them and have leftovers for tomorrow. Everything was baked to perfection and had amazing flavor. There aren't any places to sit and eat inside but I always get my treats to go so it doesn't really matter to me. There's one gender neutral restroom but I didn't go in so I can't speak to how clean it is. There's only street parking and depending on the time and day you go it may be hard to get a spot, but if you park a block or two down you can park on a residential street and it's fine. I highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area. If the line at the main Sweet Life location is too long, make the drive to this one - it is so worth it! I will be back!

Yelp
I didn't know this cute little shop existed! I've only been to the other location. It was a fun surprise to see as we were looking for a dessert spot after dinner. We walked in & the aromas were enticing. It was nice and warm inside. Lots of options for it being 630pm which was a great surprise as well. My favorite cake was fully in stock! The rhapsody. It's a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache & raspberry topping. It is so delicious & not overly sweet despite the description. The ladies behind the counter were so friendly and sweet and we were in and out so quick. They are nice an efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed my cake slice & can't wait to finish it tomorrow!

Yelp
The cake sponge is dense and tastes like it was pre frozen. Prices are premium for not great products.

Yelp
Sweet life is an adorable local bakery with two locations in Eugene. This one is the smaller version by the UO campus. The employees are always so welcoming and friendly here. Although this is the smaller store they still have a pretty large variety of baked goods. I like that you can get individual slices of cake here. They also serve coffee and drinks which is nice. There's no indoor seating but plenty of outdoor. They also do custom cakes and desserts for occasions like birthdays, holidays, and more. Definitely try this spot if you haven't yet!
google avatar

Kayiona G.

Yelp
I came here to get a sweet treat. There are a bunch of desserts from croissants to cake slices. I got the mini cake bites are they were solid, but it was pretty expensive. My friends got the creme brulee, tiramisu, and some sort of puff with a cherry sauce. I probably wouldn't come back here, but I am glad I tried it.
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Wow amazing service and food today. Thank you for the best cinnamon rolls ever. I can't wait to be one back. Very clean Avery great decor. No line and easy in and out. But I wanted everything.
google avatar

Jaewoo S.

Yelp
I had Josephine - crisp pastry shell with custard inside with berry sauce on the side. Personally, I did not want the berry sauce so I just had the custard with the pastry shell. It was sooo good! It did not take more than five minutes to finish this giant custard. Despite this being a nice Saturday late afternoon, we were able to secure a table outside the shop. All the other tables were occupied. Line got long very fast inside the shop as well but it gets short very fast. Nice little spot for great desserts to get!
google avatar

Yelp
In all the times I've gone I've never had anything bad, all the food is amazing, you can pre order amazing birthday cakes that are always show stoppers. The service is always good, there usually is a line but the workers always get to everyone in a timely matter, and to be honest it's worth the wait. Grandmas house vibes, and it always smells amazing inside, 10/10 best bakery, goodies place in Eugene. Parking lot is the only hard thing about this place.

Yelp
A cute little dessert shop close to the UO campus, sandwiched between Prince Puckler's Ice Cream and Hey, Neighbor Pizza. After eating dinner downtown, I wanted a sweet treat and found this nearby and still open. Upon entry you see large dessert cases filled with pies, cakes, tarts, cookies, etc. so many delicious choices! Choices, choices, choices---after much debate, We got the chocolate eclair and the malted banana cake. Both were really delicious. I thought the malted banana cake was exceptionally tasty...really good banana flavor, very light and the frosting was not overly sweet. The choux pastry was a little soft, but it could have gotten that way due to transportation--we took our treats to go instead of eating on premise. The staff is quite friendly and when asked for recommendations, without hesitation we were given the favorites. This is a smaller version of their main shop so, there is no inside seating and you have to sit outside in the covered patio. If you're looking something to satisfy your sweet tooth and you're close to campus--check it out. Note that the espresso bar shuts down about 9pm, so you won't be able to get anything hot to drink, not even tea.

Yelp
Went on an outing to this lovely little shop. Keep in mind with as lovely as the food is the seating is outside and food is packaged to go. So there are canopies and tables to sit at though outside. So keep weather in your plans but do plan on trying their cheesecake of the month fla
google avatar

Yelp
The little offspring of Sweet Life on Monroe in Eugene. With excellent service and a great selection, and easier parking. I love to sit outside on one of their four picnic benches and drink some tea with a sweet treat on a sunny afternoon. Perfection. This time I opted for a lime coconut petit four (small sponge layer cake, frosted with icing) which was super delicious. And a cup of tea. Love love love
google avatar

Yelp
I've literally never had to throw a way a piece pie after one bite because it was such a sugar overdose. This place was the bomb 20 years ago. Sad to see a local favorite go downhill!
google avatar

Yelp
We came on a rainy Sunday morning and ordered a chai latte with oat milk, cappuccino, apple bread pudding warmed up, brownie, and two ham & Swiss croissants warmed up. The chai latte was a little too black peppery for me, and the apple bread pudding wasn't super warm to combat the cold weather, but overall, everything was good. The line was short, and the staff were efficient. We got a table under an umbrella outside (there are no inside tables).

Robin O.

Yelp
I love Sweet Life! I have been going here for 13 years now. Excellent quality. Amazing variety. Something new they have started are surprise bags. You can get a bag filled with variety or a whole cake in it for 14-20$ it just depends on what they had overstock of. They don't always have surprise bags available, but when they do, I can't resist

Yelp
The service here is incredible. The young man who took our order/made our coffees was so positive and kind that it made me want to go above and beyond to be kind back to him. That's so lovely and so rare. Plus, the coffee options are plentiful and the coffee tasted great. I had an oat milk vanilla latte and my mom had an egg nog latte. Both 5 stars.
google avatar

Yelp
Quick service, ordered two matchas, both were slightly gritty. been here before it has a great chais, and great pastries. Definitely check this place out if you're in Eugene, excellent ambience check it out

Yelp
Stopped in to get my annual birthday slice of German Chocolate cake and left disappointed. They didn't have any GC and 90% of their available slices were either cheesecake or a cream based cake. I'm sure it's staffing /or supply chain issues but Sweet Life has always had the best in town. I tried two days later and it was the same...better luck next year I guess.
google avatar

Zachary F.

Yelp
Wow this place has an awesome selection and everything looks amazing. I got several sweet items and was happy with all of them, will have to try the croissants next time. The staff was friendly as well. Only real downside was the price, this place ain't cheap!
google avatar

Allie D.

Yelp
This is a really cute little place with lots of sweet treats and it's right next to campus! They are also next to a couple resturuaunts and could make for a fun desert after. I've come here a few times and have never been disappointed. Definitely come earlier in the day though for the freshest pastries, I have gotten pastries here from the end of the day that weren't as great. There are lots of vegan/glutin free options to choose from as well.

Yelp
BEST iced Americano in Eugene! Complements a beautiful, sunny day of Track and Field at Hayward. Crushed ice, no bitterness, and the right amount of caffeine. Conveniently located next to a pizza house, Mexican torta restaurant, and a gourmet ice cream shop!

John B.

Yelp
Smaller than the Sweet Life on Monroe, but has just about the same choice of breakfast croissants, including the savories, which are my favorite. Like the red pepper & feta croissant. They also have the Orange cardamom morning buns, which make a great dessert too, and the same excellent Americanos. Definitely a good place to stop for pastry if you are on campus, especially the east side.

Breanne S.

Yelp
The best cinnamon rolls I've had in all of Eugene! Also tried the red velvet cream cheese, Whoopie pie that is also so amazing!!

Jason S.

Yelp
Great selection and fantastic desserts. The staff is always friendly and very helpfull
google avatar

Matthew B.

Yelp
Great food, great service. Very busy but they moved the line along rather quickly. They were out of the German chocolate cake I wanted. The server talked me into the vegan German chocolate cake. She was correct. It was very good.
google avatar

Rachel D.

Yelp
Perfect mini version of Sweetlife right by the university. They still have a solid selection. Remember the day old pastries are half off too!
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place accidentally and we are so glad we did. First, the staff are so friendly. They have regular bakery items as well as dairy/egg free and gluten free. I got the mocha cake and it was to die for!! Chocolate cake with an espresso filling that actually tasted like espresso and not the weird "coffee flavored" taste baked items can have sometimes. Also had a chocolate ganache. Soooooo good. My husband got the pumpkin pie and said it was amazing! I didn't even manage to get pictures because we were so busy stuffing our faces.
google avatar

Smrithi S.

Yelp
This is another of our favorite, must visit places in Eugene. We have tried a lot of their offerings, have liked it all. This time we got a slice of the German chocolate cake, Chocolate Mousee, Chocolate Soufflé Torte. We loved them all. Other favorites include Hazelnut milk chocolate, creme brulee, various petite fours, etc.
google avatar

Justine K.

Yelp
Loved the amount of vegan options to choose from. I only tried the boysenberry pie and carrot muffin- both which were divine! I'll be back to try more desserts. The perk is this spot is right next door to Hey Neighbor, so pick up dessert to go after dinner :)
google avatar

Kilani G.

Yelp
I love the concept of a by the slice pie and cake dessert shop! They have cookies, ice cream, coffee, and pastry goods across the spectrum. They sell whole cakes/pies and have slice options as well. On a Sunday night they were busy! We waited in line 2-3 minutes and our orders came out within 10 minutes. We didn't get a bad pastry, so definitely recommend mixing and matching. Yum, thanks Eugene for this sweet little gem.
google avatar

Yelp
The name "sweet life" is a perfect fit for this decadent and delicious bakery. When you walk into this quaint little shop you'll see a giant case with different desserts for any type of person. From classic pumpkin pie in the fall to piggy shaped petit fours filled with maple bacon they have something to satisfy any sweet tooth. Some of my favorites: Zesty Lime tart Perfectly baked cookies Homemade marshmallows Cheesecake (any flavor!) Chocolate mousse Although those are my personal favorites I have a feeling that anything you order will be devoured and enjoyed. They have espresso drinks as well as hot chocolate which I highly recommend on a cold day. If I had one critique it would be to please heat the hot chocolate until it is HOT especially when it's cold outside. Our hot chocolates were more like warm chocolates and needed warming up when we got home (only a 2 minute drive away) because they weren't steamed for long enough. Other than that it was perfect for a cold night and not too sweet. I would be so down for some of those homemade marsh mellows if that were to become an added option! This location only has outdoor seating so take that into consideration if you come here on a cold night. They are open until 11pm everyday and on busy nights you might have to park a couple blocks away since many people park to go to the popular Prince Pucklers ice cream shop right next door. They also have another location on Monroe Street that's even bigger with tables to sit inside and even more pastries and cakes to choose from!
google avatar

Makenzie Y.

Yelp
So Sweet Life Petite is the small version of the Patisserie! It's definitely worth going to, the desserts are just the same and super amazing. But it's definitely a smaller version and doesn't have near as much stuff. No coffee or ice cream at this one. But this place is seriously so good and it's right next to Prince Puckler's which does have ice cream! Overall, this area is really cute, lots of outside seating too! And right near campus Go check it out!
google avatar

Krista S.

Yelp
Gluten free greatness!!! I've been twice and every single thing I've gotten has been delicious! This time I got the strawberry lemonade gluten free cupcake and the gluten free cheese bun. Wow! The cupcake is a smaller size, kind of in-between mini and regular. The cake itself is moist and delicious. The frosting is so good, not too sweet, and the flavors are delicious. The cheese bun was light and very similar to a normal roll. I can't attest to the other pastries here but everything looks beautiful and they are also very nice when you have questions.
google avatar

Andrew G.

Yelp
How excellent this bakery truly is! I not only loved how delicious my raspberry lemon whoopie pie was, but just how many seasonal options they have. I went with a bigger group and everyone got something different and nobody was unhappy at all. My best friend swears by their creme brulee and it certainly was delicious. My other companion swears by their carrot cake, though they had sold out by the time we had gotten there. The meringue cookies were beautiful and very delicious as well. Their cakes and pies all look scrumptious and if I wasnt already stuffed from dinner, I might've gotten more...
google avatar

Rosa Maria C.

Yelp
Great cake. Organic. And they make their lines go quick. I enjoyed the experience for my birthday. Bought a small bevarian cream cake with a cool chocolate piece with flower art on it. It's worth the price.
google avatar

Caro P.

Yelp
Let's talk cookies: in general their cookies are a strange texture. If you are from the South the cookies are tougher than we like. However, the flavors are good. I suggest the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. Amazing. Not as big of a fan of the ginger molasses. I like the old fashioned ginger molasses cookies my grandmother makes, more brown than black, thin, exceptionally chewy, large and round. These are thick, dry, and bitter. Not a fan but maybe it is cultural and this is how the ginger molasses cookies are made in the West. The pumpkin spice cookie is like a cake cookie. Very good. Definitely get the pumpkin spice. Let's talk desserts:

Yelp
Nice addition to this small strip near campus for sweet treats! We often come here if our group of friends want to choose different things for dessert. Sweet life Petit is located right next to a tea bar and a famous ice cream shop. Sweet life Petit's wait time in line doesn't compare to it's original Sweet Life Patisserie location, but don't be surprised if you have to wait 5 mins or so before you order. There is only outdoor seating at this location. Not good if you're coming in the rainy winter, but a lovely ambiance in the summer when you're sitting on their picnic table under a cute string of lights. You can NEVER go wrong ordering any of their cheesecakes. Trust me, I've had them all. Overall, a good variety of dessert choices in a order-to-go style set up. We like to enjoy dessert here and the go for a walk around the neighborhood with our dog.
google avatar

Valerie B.

Yelp
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! The people working are always so kind and helpful. Love the vegan and gluten-free options, and that the store is open until 10. My favorite spot for quality desserts in town. Thanks for supporting my sweet tooth :)

Matthew W.

Yelp
Great offerings, the quality is top notch and there is decent variety. I like the monthly menu changes. Went in today and the customer service was pretty poor. I can understand if customer service slips a bit when things are busy, but this was a slow rainy afternoon and I was the only one in the store. It was a disappointing experience.
google avatar

Jena S.

Yelp
Beautiful yummy cupcakes! We tried the chocolate cherry and the birthday cake flavors.

D M.

Yelp
In all aspects 5 Stars! Super friendly staff, amazing food, quick and prompt service! Not only were they amazing in delivering quality food, they gave me a dog biscuit for my Golden... Such an amazing experience, HIGHLY recommend!
google avatar

Micah K.

Yelp
Find your favorite and forget about it. There is so much for you to experience here and so satisfying. This is a place to explore your sweet tooth, don't let those pesky cavities get in the way either. I always enjoy their selections of cakes, my favorite was a raspberry chocolate ganache, that smashed my taste buds with so much richness they where dancing to the sweet tunes. It's also fun to try their deserts of the month, I've never found disappointment shoveling spoonfuls of grade A sugar into my mouth. I do have a single complaint, which is the wait time can be excessive, and even with all that time to make a choice, I end up still not knowing what I want cause there are so many wonderful options, which then leads me to getting way more then I really need. I suppose this isn't the worst thing to happen, also wait times are usually only long on weekends, and around holidays.
google avatar

Sofia Z.

Yelp
Love sweet life, I wish they had sugar free options. They do have vegan, gluten free, beautiful deserts great coffee. Yes a thousand times.
google avatar

Chris G.

Yelp
Notice traveling foodies * this is a must stop for baked goodness beyond your wildest Meyer lemon tart! This is where birthdays are spent after dinner for most the families special celebrating. From the basic molasses cookie to the napoleon to the delicate tarts and cheesecakes. Just say yes to dessert and get to one of these premier Eugene spots. Trust!

Brandon M.

Yelp
Not very pleased with my visit this morning. I come here frequent and did not get the service and or quality of food as usual. Bummer
google avatar

Jasmine T.

Yelp
What I love most about this location is that it is 1. right next door to Prince Pucklers and 2. close to the U of O campus. Even if you aren't a student, this area of Eugene is so fun to visit. As others have mentioned, the shop itself is a much smaller version of the original Sweet Life, but they still have a good selection of pastries and desserts to choose from. And as I mentioned, Prince Pucklers is next door so you can get that brownie AND some ice cream to go with it, all while supporting two great local businesses :)
google avatar

Ingrid D.

Yelp
The selection here is great. I came here with my family to check out U of O. The pie here is especially good, I bought a slice of peach raspberry pie. I am a pie snob, but fruit pies are simple to make, but they can be ruined if the fruit is bland or it has wimpy crust. The peaches were intense and fresh. For crust I want something that's almost a shortbread cookie texture, I don't care for butter crusts, this one was not butter but something else, I forgot what she told me, but the the slice was perfect. If peach raspberry pie weren't always a tad soupy (it always is} I could have picked up the slice by the crust and eaten it like pizza. I also bought a slice of a thick bittersweet chocolate cake with strawberries on top. I think it's a cake, the texture was more like cheesecake. So rich, so good. If you're going to get dessert, come here.
google avatar

Karen K.

Yelp
This 19th street Sweet Life location is supportive, inclusive, accepting of diversity, and I feel it's inviting. The other location is not totally accepting of diversity. There have been times when I have had problems with the staff. As if they have a problem with me because I am a transgender woman. In another life, I would frequent the Monroe location and NEVER treated poorly! I give this review a 5 star as it is about the 19th street location, not the Monroe Street location.
google avatar

Kiki H.

Yelp
I heard great things about this bakery and everything looked great. Unfortunately the prices seemed too high for me for Eugene. A whole red velvet cake was $40 and compared to the taste did not seem worth it. I did not like that there was a raspberry compote part of the cake, which is unusual for any red velvet cake and I don't think was advertised. I also did not like it was not a traditional cream cheese frosting. The butter cream was hard and didn't have much flavor. These are just my particular preferences though and nothing against the quality which was very good. I'm unsure if I would return. My friends tried the caramel torts and loved them, so I'd highly recommend those!
google avatar

Norma H.

Yelp
Absolutely the cutest little shop in the cute town. Came in for some coffee and a few pastries. Had a huge cinnamon bun and the pecan chewy bar. However I also ordered a cake over the phone in California and had it delivered with care to my daughters for their bday. Cake was super delicious and very cute design. Definitely recommend coming here!
