The staff was very friendly and warm. The food is just slightly subpar. The omelette is mid and the bacon is very hard to chew, contrary to other reviews (maybe person taste?). The crispy fried vegetables are so fried that they tasted like burned things, which ruined the entire dish, even if everything else is perfect fine and tasty. Certain dishes are well cooked and delicious, but it's very expensive considering what the meal contains. Overall, not bad, but not exceptional either.

Google
A little wait sometime, but totally worth it. The food has a great presentation, decent portions, and a nice atmosphere. The omelette and wings are fantastic 😊 Definitely stop by for brunch or lunch.

The food was really good! We would want to go back but that will have to wait till our next trip as we already have other stuff planned. A lot of the food coming out of the kitchen looked good and I wish I had a bigger appetite to try more stuff. It looks really nice inside. They have indoor seating as well as an outdoor patio. There is a parking lot in the back with a two hour parking limit. I recommend this place if you are in Palo Alto.n

Stopped here for brunch with the family and was not disappointed. We got an Omelet,Blueberry Pancakes,Sizzling Stone Pot, Breaky Tacos and French Toast as well as Blueberry Mochi Waffle. Every dish was tasty and delicious and we had no leftovers.

Google
The food is okay but not amazing. I’ve been back a couple of times and don’t understand why so many people love it. I’m guessing the appeal of this place for a lot of people is the beautiful presentation of the food or the setting. Or maybe the unique mochi waffle offering. But in my opinion, the food is just okay. Yes, even the mochi waffles are just okay. Nothing bad at all but it’s overrated.

Google
This was our first time eating at Sweet Maple. We are in town visiting from out of state. Everything was delicious and so unique and fun. The combination of flavors was wonderful. My husband and I shared the Millionaire’s Bacon sample platter, the Blueberry Moffle (mochi waffle), and the Frisco Scrambler. We highly recommend all three! We were lucky and sat outside and it was lovely to enjoy the patio. Definitely give this place a try if you’re in the area.

Google
Tried the omurice (they kindly swapped galbi for bacon, so good!) and the blueberry moffle, both were delicious. We got a table quickly after joining the Yelp waitlist in person, no reservation needed. Service was a bit rushed since the place was busy. Food was overall solid, though the chicken tacos could be better - fried chicken was dry. Outdoor seating was bad, tables were tilted and was not very clean. It needs to be improved.

Google
The food was absolutely amazing! The candy bacon and butter corn were extremely savory and sweet and the service was impeccable. Every plate we ordered was delightful. The food came in less than 15 minutes and we can’t wait to be back! I definitely recommend this restaurant for a lightning fast and unforgettable meal.

Yelp
Showed up at a busy time when they were packed and still were sat quickly. Service was great, food was amazing. Our server Ricardo was so attentive, my glass was never left empty on bottomless mimosa and all of his recommendations were delicious.

Yelp
Everything went amazing the food is awesome and the service was great. I ordered the omelette and my dad order the chicken sandwich that looked exquisite

Yelp
One of my close friends took me out here for brunch to celebrate finishing grad school. The ambiance provides a great spot for celebrating a special occasion or even catching up with an old friend. The breakfast dish I got was sort of like deep fried French toast. I am glad I added the bananas and walnuts because it brought different textures and dishes, my friend she got a egg skillet dish and she was very pleased by her meal. Staff was super accommodating and got us seated super quick despite there being lot of people dining that day.

Yelp
2/14/2024 Came here for lunch w my mom for vday. This sweat maple is a lot bigger than the one in Cupertino. It was a very busy day for a special holiday. The wait was only about 25 minutes. The inside was nice and friendly. We ordered the sizzling stone pot w galbi (beef) ($26). It's like a bibimbap. I asked for extra sauce which was sweat and spicy. The beef was marinated which paired w the dish well. The matcha moffle ($16) was also delicious. Its got this chewy texture which was great with the matcha cream on the side. Overall it was an almost perfect day except out waiter didn't give us water until we asked for it after our foods both came out. He said that they ran out of cups

Yelp
Been to this place 2 years ago and decided to come back when in the Bay Area to try other food in the menu since I always find their brunch menu pretty inventive. Good for big groups but always a wait on a Sunday but their service is quick. Space is tight since they try to accommodate as many people as they can but ambiance and decor is cute and open. Their specialty lattes are yummy. They also have small bites options for those who don't want huge portions and a kids menu. Glad we went back to try other items on their menu since they added new items since our last visit couple years ago. Will definitely return again when we're in the area.

Yelp
One hour wait, but worth the wait! Walked around and had some coffee while waiting. This spot has a waiting area and outdoor seating. You can parallel park or park in the lot right behind the restaurant. Portions were big and can feed 2-3 people. I tried the Loco Moco! It was delicious as they added their own spin to it. The dirty ube latte was so good as well! Highly recommend stopping by!

Yelp
I love this restaurant! The service is good. The food is amazing and visually appealing. The interior design and decorating is beautiful. I even took photos of the lights because I want them for my home. We will be back on Friday for my sister's birthday!

Yelp
Came here for brunch with my friends and it reminded me of Berkeley Social Club! It has a wide variety of fusion foods and so many options. It was busy when we went so make sure you are in the list for the reservation when you arrive. We got the millionaires bacon - comes with 4 diff flavors. Personally I just wanted to try it because it seems like this is what they are known for. Good, but too sweet to my taste. I like my bacon more savory than carmelized, but good none the less. The omurice was good- very buttery and the mochi matcha waffle was amazing! The best thing though was the dirty ube latte. So good, you have to get!! I gave this place a 5 star because of our waitress! She was so nice to us and gave us a free drink because it was my birthday :) Thank you M!!

Yelp
Been here many times now for lunch. Still consistent. Service was a little off but that's okay. Chicken croffle was excellent this time

Yelp
Came here on a weekday, a little before noon, and was able to get a table for 3 without any wait. Service was great and we had no issues. Ordered the loco moco, chicken croffle, and bacon. All of the food was good, though I thought the dishes could have been balanced or executed better. For example, the loco moco was heavy and could have benefited from a side salad. I could see the chicken and croffles going with a creamy sauce, fun butter, and/or more fruits. The candied bacon was really good, but it came in a glass cup and the bacon is not stiff, so it slumped to the bottom of the glass. Kind of a weird sad presentation. Otherwise, the food was still good and I appreciated the unique menu offering. I hope to come back in the future to try the Benedict's!

Yelp
Sweet Maple is a great brunch spot that delivers on both food and ambiance. My friend and I visited on a Sunday around noon and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away--no wait time, which is a rare treat for weekend brunch! - The Food I ordered the savory soufflé egg dish with shrimp and crispy bacon, while my friend opted for the Blackstone Benedict. Both dishes were excellent. The soufflé egg was fluffy, the shrimp perfectly cooked, and the bacon added the perfect touch of crispiness. As for the Benedict, the eggs were poached to perfection and paired wonderfully with the savory flavors of the dish. - The Experience While the food quality was top-notch, the timing was a bit off. My friend's Benedict arrived about 15-20 minutes before my soufflé egg. After waiting for about 15 minutes, we checked with the waiter, who quickly apologized for the mix-up in the kitchen. To make up for the delay, they kindly brought out a fruit cup for me to enjoy while I waited. I appreciated the gesture and their professionalism in handling the situation. - The Vibes Sweet Maple has a great atmosphere--perfect for a fun weekend brunch. The ambiance and service made the experience feel worth the slightly higher price point. - Overall Delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and accommodating service make Sweet Maple a place I'd recommend for brunch lovers. While there was a minor hiccup with the timing of the dishes, their effort to make it right didn't go unnoticed. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Great place for brunch! I went with a group of 9, and it took about 30 minutes for my group to get seated. Our waiter was really good and attentive. The restaurant is a bit loud and busy, but the food was amazing! The beverages were big and filling. The millionaire's bacon benedict was tasty. I would come here again for another brunch event!

Yelp
It's a popular place to have brunch or afternoon tea. I like the Pimped Up Ramen, it is a bit spicy, but it suits my taste very well. Another our favorites is Tornado Galbi Omurice, the special cook egg on top sparked the whole dish. Butter Fried corns has fried rice cake balls. So yummy! We also ordered the special rosmary bacon is also great, thick-cut style, with both fat and lean meat . The Korean fried chicken is very tender. All the food we ordered was cooked very well. Service is very quick and friendly. Waiters are caring and very diligent that make sure customers have enough drinking water . Ambiance always great .

Yelp
Food is AMAZING here. Come in with the expectations that the dishes are going to be a bit pricey but that is normal for the area. I came in with a party of two at 9am on a Saturday and the place was packed! We luckily were seated immediately and had our drink orders taken care of right away. The servers are so kind, super attentive, and often come by to check how everything is going. My partner and I ordered the chicken croffle, loco moco, and two cups of coffee. Everything was so tasty. My favorite part was the texture of the croffle. So crispy and buttery I cannot wait to go back on another special occasion!

Yelp
There are a few locations, but this was my first time here with a few friends. We went on a Saturday midday (11:30/12) and waited maybe 30 minutes to be seated after putting our name down. Friends were able to find street parking but it can be hit or miss or may take a bit to find depending on how busy it is. I had ordered the chicken croffle, millionaire's bacon sampler, the aperol spritz and espresso shakerato. The chicken croffle is popular for a reason! Crispy chicken and well cooked and the croffles were delicious with the maple syrup. Portions were definitely large so it was nice for a brunch where we were all hungry. Sampler platter was great to share and it was nice to try all of the different options - the citron was mg favorite of the 3 outside of the original. The aperol spritz had more of an orange/citrus base so it was super refreshing with the chicken. Overall solid! The espresso shakerato was one of the better espresso martini-esque drinks I've had! Loved how creamy it was, slightly on the sweeter side but not overwhelming and didn't taste watered down like most places. It was my personal favorite drink :) It does get busy so I recommend putting your name down and going somewhere nearby to check out some of the cute holiday spots - great for groups or families. The new matcha spot is also a couple blocks away in case you need to wait for some time! The best part of the whole service was being able to split all the items by what we got rather than having to figure it out for ourselves. Super attentive and helpful staff and food came out pretty quickly even if it was busy.

Yelp
My friend and I dined at Sweet Maple on a Saturday around 11:30 a.m. By that time, there was already a line. We were a party of two, and our table was ready when we arrived. If you have a larger party, you might have to wait a bit longer. They do accept reservations. Parking: There is a lot on the right side of the store, or directly across the street, there is a garage (the first three hours are free). I was able to find street parking without any issues. Sweet Maple offers a good variety of food options--not overwhelming, but just the right amount. We ordered the Oscar Benedict and the Chicken Croffle. Sharing these two dishes was more than enough for the two of us. The Oscar Benedict was delicious, though I wished the brussels sprouts had been left whole instead of separated into leaves. The Chicken Croffle was juicy and not dry, and it was easy to cut through. Overall, the presentation of the food was beautiful. The restaurant has clearly put effort into decorating the interior--it's charming and well-designed! It's an ideal spot for a lunch date with friends, family, or a plus one.

Yelp
I've been visiting Sweet Maple for years, and it never disappoints! A friend first introduced me to this gem, and it quickly became one of my go-to spots. One of my absolute favorites is their ube latte--specifically served warm. It's pure comfort in a cup, with just the right balance of sweetness and creaminess. The flavor reminds me of a warm hug, and I find myself craving it all the time. If you're looking for a drink that feels like a cozy treat, this is it. The food here is just as impressive as the drinks. Their chicken croffle is a standout--imagine a perfectly flaky croissant pressed into a waffle and paired with thin, crispy chicken cutlets. It's such a creative twist on comfort food, and the combination of textures is divine. I've also tried their matcha mochi waffle, which is a perfect balance of earthy matcha flavor and chewy mochi texture--it's such a fun and unique dish. And the San Francisco omelette? Absolutely delicious, packed with fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. The service is always friendly and welcoming, but do be prepared to wait during peak hours--this spot is popular for a reason. That said, the line moves fairly quickly, and if the wait is longer, you can always explore downtown Palo Alto while you pass the time. Sweet Maple is a place I'll keep returning to for its creative menu, warm atmosphere, and consistently excellent food and drinks. Highly recommend giving it a try!

Yelp
If you've got your eye on this place for brunch, go sooner rather than later. You'll thank me!! This place exceeded our expectations and I'm already looking forward to going back. Food was incredible. The millionares bacon is in fact a must- get. We tried the normal seasoning and it was kind of a sweet with a hint of spice and it was just, well perfect. The blueberry mochi waffle "Moffle" had a good spin on a traditional waffle - more flavor, chewier, and a delicious sweet cream on top. We also tried the Tornado Galbi Omurice. This dish is where I really noticed the Asian fusion. It's like an omlet, over a bed of fried rice, some Korean beef on the side with a Korean sauce. Very good and fun to try. Out of the three, that was my least favorite. But I still would highly recommend it. I was also impressed with the kids plate - large portions, cute presentation, balanced meal. Ambiance had a perfect brunch feel. We got there at 830 on a Saturday and didn't have a wait, but it looked like it was almost full. Get there early to avoid a wait! Staff was friendly and service was fairly quick. A place well worth its reviews!

Yelp
Sweet maple has great ambiance and is located in downtown Palo Alto. They have indoor and outdoor seating as well as heaters outside. Our group was seated outside so we were thankful for the heaters. Service was friendly, although a bit slow, which was only noticed because of a time crunch. The menu is extensive and I was excited to try the souflegg. I've never had anything like it! It was fluffy and delicious. The potato and Brussels sprouts medley was also delicious. Food is expensive, but this is a nice place for brunch overall.

Yelp
this was my second time here, and i liked the food a lot more this time around! because of how popular it is, the restaurant is always packed, especially on weekend mornings. there's no online waitlist check-in, so you have to add yourself to the waitlist at the kiosk outside of the restaurant. my party waited around 30 minutes to be seated, but there were plenty of nearby cafes and other businesses to explore while waiting. during my first visit, i ordered the pimped out ramyun + tornado galbi omurice + millionaire's bacon sampler platter because i had seen them on social media, and i was disappointed with all 3. i would not recommend ordering these. although the presentation was nice, i thought these dishes were on the expensive side for what they actually were & the flavor wasn't anything special. the only exception was that the millionaire's bacon was delicious, but $25 is a lot for a few strips of bacon. my most recent visit was much better!! i ordered the matcha croffle + loco moco + ahi salad. everything was SO good. the matcha croffle came out warm, was chewy & sweet, and had a really nice matcha flavor. the loco moco was super yummy & filling, and it was perfectly cooked!! i couldn't stop eating it. and my favorite dish from this visit was the ahi salad!! it looks deceptively small when it's first brought out, but it takes up the whole plate after it's mixed. the ahi tasted really fresh, and it was great to eat the salad on top of the toasted bread. i'd recommend trying any of these!! they're great for sharing with a group.

Yelp
This is a vibrant bustling brunch spot with a unique Asian-fusion menu. Whether you like sweet breakfast or savory, you're sure to find something delicious you like. I cannot eat wheat, so get the Blue Berry Mochi Waffles. Their texture is great, a delicate crunch on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Good gluten free waffles are hard to come by and I highly recommend these!

Yelp
Unique offerings. Presented artfully. Lots of options. Something to suit any craving.

Yelp
When you have a small baby at home you know what a rarity it is to enjoy a nice restaurant meal. We got the opportunity to have a yummy brunch on a Saturday morning and it was such a lovely experience. The ambience of Sweet Maple is beautiful and we got seated pretty quickly indoors (arrived before 10am). Standouts were definitely the Moco Loco (flavorful and decadent sauce), ube latte, and cream for the matcha moffle! The moffle itself was a bit gritty for my liking. While the millionaires bacon was tasty, I probably wouldn't order it again for the price alone. My 9 month old also devoured her chicken sausage! Overall a great experience and I look forward to coming back again some day!
google avatar

Yelp
We decided to go here on a whim since we were in the area. We went on a Saturday late morning time and there was a 10 minute wait. You go and sign up for the waiting list on a tablet and when you're next you get a text message. I've been to the sweet maple in Cupertino and for some reason I liked this location better. The decorations are cuter and the restaurant is more modern? The vibes are cuter, i think b/c it's in downtown. We tried the mochi waffles that were seasonal and those were delicious. I also got two eggs and bacon and those were very good. The hubs got the Hemingway Benedict which is the smoked salmon and that was delicious along with the potatoes. I got the Ube latte and it was delicious. We would definitely come back here and try the other items!
google avatar

Gerald S.

Yelp
I came in for breakfast and there was no wait to get in the restaurant. However, there was a wait time for me to get water and to be serviced. I ordered one of the omelette options and orange juice. My food came in just a tad bit later than it initially took me to get serviced. The omelette hit the spot and so did the orange juice. My meal at Sweet Maple prepared me for the rest of my day. If I were to come here again, I'd plan for a non-busy day + time.
google avatar

Lydia H.

Yelp
I didn't really like the food here. The bacon was highly recommended but I felt like it was overcooked and the flavors weren't great.
google avatar

Christy L.

Yelp
Came here for brunch on a late Sunday morning and waited about 45 minutes for a table for 3. Once we were seated, our order was taken quickly and the food came out soon after. The menu is very impressive which made it hard to decide, but I went with: - Butter Fried Corn (8/10) - Millionaire's Candy (8/10) - Blueberry Moffle (7/10) Everything was really tasty and flavorful. Highly recommend the bacon to any bacon enthusiast! The restaurant is casual but cute, a perfect place for catching up or celebrating a fun occasion! :)

Yelp
HEADS UP! 2 stars off for a very dark pattern with tipping. The machine to pay shows the total amount and then asks you for a tip; 3%, 5%, 7%. In the small print, they've already auto added 20% and we only realized after that the initial ask was actually additional tip! Food is good, super packed on weekends 30-40mins wait. Didn't really see the ambience inside as we were seated outside.
google avatar

Jozza M.

Yelp
The ambience of this place is chill and open, they have a small patio area which looks inviting on a great weather. I went here with 2 of my girlfriends for brunch and it was so nice, their Ube latte was amazing! (I got the hot dirty Ube latte) it was delish and totally kept me going for the rest of the day. I was very excited to try their loco mocco but I was a bit disappointed with the gravy sauce. It was just missing the extra "umf" I however tried one of my girlfriends tornado galbi omurice and THAT was chefs kiss. Our server was so patient with us, we like to talk a lot LOL time flies when you're having fun I guess! I would go back here again to try a different dish and for the dirty Ube latte!
google avatar

Yelp
We made reservations and came on a weekend awhile back for dinner. Usually the place is packed for brunch, but there was no wait for dinner and tables were available for walk-in. I think they stopped doing dinner service as of now, but the menu was practically the same as brunch menu anyway. It was a nice day out, so I opted for outdoor seating. I tried the Tornado Galbi Omurice and the Pimped Up Ramyun. The dish was decorated with a ramen cup and looked really cute. The ramyun was stir fried and was a bit too moist for my taste, but I like that it came with a slice of Millionaire's bacon. I really enjoyed the omurice, and although the style is a bit different compared to the Japanese version, the flavors were still enjoyable. Prices are definitely a bit high for the portions, but I would be down to try their other brunch dishes if the wait isn't too bad. Sadly they took away the online waitlist/reservation option.

Yelp
After trying all these bay area Korean fusion brunch places that sell million bacon and deep friend French toasts, sweet maple comes out on top. I'd say that this place is much more reasonable with the sickly sweet flavors that Berkeley social club overdoses on. My scramble was slightly greasy/oily, but the seasoning was overall very solid. The Brussel sprout medley was my absolute fav, and it is amazing how they give this with almost every brunch plate. Although the brusslels were pretty oily, I was not complaining about the crisp. I'd def come back to try the sweet dishes - croffles and french toast here look stellar!!!
google avatar

Roann T.

Yelp
Sweet Maple is the ultimate brunch spot. The menu is jam packed with unique and traditional brunch options. I decided to get a stack of pancakes that was almost too gorgeous to eat with a side of bacon and eggs. The millionaires bacon is also a must try, it's just as good as biting into a rack of ribs.
google avatar

Sylvia L.

Yelp
We ordered the Ahi and HAAS salads. I waited a long time for the ahi salad. It seemed overpriced for a simple salad for romaine lettuce, tuna and mango. It was nothing special. The chicken in the HAAS was not very tendered but seasoned adequately.
google avatar

Liza M.

Yelp
many tables available - there was 10min wait at 10:30am on a sunday morning, with a 10min grace period. there was plenty of free parking nearby at this hour. I came here for a birthday brunch and the egg souffle looked the most interesting to me since steamed eggs are my favorite. I liked how it came out in a skillet but it was a tad too salty for me. the brussels sprouts and potatoes were cooked with just the right amount crispiness and the simple toast and butter was just as satisfying. the portion was pretty big so it ended up being by two meals for me. so glad the kitchen was easily able to accommodate allium-free, no onion, and no garlic, upon request. if we had a larger party, I'd prob try some appetizers like the corn and eggplant and the matcha moffle to share.

Yelp
if you're looking for an asian fusion brunch spot that's creative with their menu options then sweet maple is the perfect place for you. the ambiance is very chill n its also fitting for catching up with your friends, dates, and it's quite kids/family friendly. overall, I would say their service is overall pretty attentive despite on how busy they are. the only downside for me was for the last two times ive stopped by on the weekend the host at the check in desk is a bit rude/had some attitude. The first time when it happened I thought it was maybe just a one off thing and it was a bad day. but when it happened again for the second time, it felt a bit off putting. tips: there's a lot of parking lots nearby within the 2 blocks of the restaurant and once you get there, make sure to sign up to be on the waiting list through their iPad

Yelp
Came here for brunch with friends & family, and it was the perfect, comfortable spot to enjoy a meal together and chat! I was very impressed with this place. Because it's right on University Ave. I wasn't expecting the hype to live up to reviews I've seen. TBH I was expecting expensive prices, small portions, and minimal flavor, but I was pleasantly surprised. YES this place is a little pricey, but you DO get what you pay for. As you can see from the photos, portions are huge! The kitchen plates we ordered could've easily been shared between two people each! Flavor was there for all the dishes, because there were so many components to each dish! Service was very good and fast; my husband was given the wrong side to his burger, and they quickly gave him a salad on the side and left the fruit for us all to enjoy! I would definitely recommend coming here with your friends and family! They'll all love it!

Yelp
Great place to get brunch in Palo Alto with friends. The food is always delicious. My favorite is the Pimped Up Ramyun. It feels a bit silly to pay for $23 shin ramen, but honestly it's really good. I love the flavor and the vegetable they add. I also really like their Brussels sprouts. They're super crispy--they're basically like Brussels sprouts chips. Also I'm not usually a big fan of bacon but their bacon's pretty good. It's quite sweet which I like. This place gets quite popular during brunch hours so you may have to wait in line. Last time during peak hour we waited around 30 min. It wasn't too bad because there's bench seating in the square outside so we just chilled there. Service is good. I don't feel like we waited too long for our food or the check. The inside is really pretty. They have a lot of seating (group tables and also smaller 2-person tables). They have a lot of warm wood panels, tables and chairs so it feels very inviting. Parking: There are many parking garages in Palo Alto so it's not too hard for us to find parking

Yelp
Finally got to try Sweet Maple with a friend who also had been wanting to go for awhile now. First thing's first: add yourself to Yelp waitlist when you arrive. There was a line even to put our name down when I got there (Saturday at 11:30am) but once I did, it quoted me 5-15 minutes and sure enough our table was ready in 10. I got the matcha moffle ($16) which had the perfect amount of matcha flavoring (not too bitter and overpowering), a good mochi chew too, but I got bored after a few bites. I also ordered a side of millionaire's bacon, which you can only get the "original" and sunny side up eggs for an additional $13. Like others had described, the thick cut bacon also reminded me of Chinese beef jerky (not a fan) with an additional sweet sugary drizzle. Despite the hype with the bacon, we would not order this again. My friend got the tornado galbi omurice ($25). After one bite she said "this is ok". I concur. Everything we ordered was "ok". The best thing we had were the ube lattes which were creamy, ube-y, and not too sweet. Service was good. Pricy here. It was about $45/pp including tip.

Yelp
A friend of mine who was in town visiting and wanted to have brunch with me, so I took him here. I ordered the Korean fried chicken and the loco moco. The KFC was really good. It had a sweet and savory flavor to it that was satisfying. The loco moco was pretty good too considering I don't usually like Loco Moco. The service here was good also. Our waiter was very attentive and was very knowledgeable on their menu. This restaurant has an elegant vibe to it and is in a very nice area with a lot of things to do. Highly recommend checking this brunch spot out! Try it if you like. :)

Yelp
Check in and wait was decent. Our server was attentive and checked in on us just enough. The crispy brussel sprouts is a must try 5/5. The brussel sprouts were actually crispy with some crispy bits of bacon inside. The tornado Galbi Omurice could be better. I think the rice could just be plain steamed rice instead of the seasoned vegetable rice. The sauce could richer and more gravy consistent. Overall a good experience and would want to try other dishes next time.

Yelp
We were in the neighborhood for a wedding and heard some great things about this place so came here to try and had a nice meal. Came here for a Monday brunch so was seated right away though it was busier than expected. Service was very friendly and fast so all good there. We got the loco moco and the blackstone benedict and they were both good though my favorite was the blackstone benedict. Loco moco had a unique twist, with essentially a katsu patty over a layer of kimchi and rice. Cute place all in all in line with other clean modern restaurants. Definitely recommended (if I lived closer, I'd come again).

Yelp
Great place to get brunch in Palo Alto with friends. The food is always delicious. This place excels in their pancake offerings. The fluffy buttermilk pancakes, served with a generous dollop of whipped butter and pure maple syrup, were a revelation. Each bite was a symphony of textures and flavors, leaving us thoroughly satisfied. They also have great drinks menu as well. We had a bloody mary and some other breakfast drink which was very delicious. Sweet Maple promises a memorable experience that will keep you coming back for more. Highly recommended for brunch enthusiasts and food lovers alike.

Yelp
Aesthetic: Gorgeous mid century modern that's bright and airy. It does get loud when it's packed (which is usually always). There is also seating outside as well, so if you want to have a meal without having to talk loud, reserve an outside table. Food: [Korean Fried Chicken]- Delicious! The sauce that coated the chicken is AMAZING, slightly sweet, slight kick, and the inclusion of toasted rice balls was chefs kiss. There was a side sauce that tasted like horse radish, and the dish didn't need it because the chicken already had so much flavor. The chicken had a perfect crispy skin while retaining a juicy meat. [Cappuccino]- Lots of foam, very aesthetic but the coffee itself was mid.. But I didn't expect the coffee to be great since I'm here for the food. [Avocado Croffle]- The texture of the croffle is a must try. It's light yet filling. [Sweet Maple Scramble]- The potatoes are incredible, each color had a different taste that complimented each other, the outside had a light crisp and the inside was soft. The scramble itself is creamy and hardy and the portion size of the main dishes are worth the price. Overall: The food and aesthetic is amazing but the service could use some improvement. Wait time is about 25 mins or less, which is amazing for a place that is consistently packed but we were looking at the menu for 10 mins before we even received water, then we felt rushed to eat and leave.

Yelp
This place usually has a long wait but we were able to get seated quickly on a Friday morning. Beautifully decorated inside. I feel like this place is hyped up because of the aesthetics. The food was okay - nothing special. The million dollar bacon was pretty good - sweet and spicy.

Yelp
Walked right in on a weekday around 11am and there was no waiting. We were seated right away and were able to get a table outside. The place is really nice, plenty of of seating inside and a few tables outside. We orders the millionaire bacon and it was good, mine even had a gold leaf. It has a Bunch of flavors, but alittle too sweet for me, my friend loved it. I went with the Dungenuss crab omelette and it was good. You are able to taste and flavor the crab which is shredded inside and it is through out the omelette. Will order it again. I ordered the Ube Dirty Latte, and it was good, no sugar was needed.

Yelp
Came in for lunch and this place is so hip! Started off with a bunch of apps. Corn ribs, fries, and the fried chicken. The corn was beautifully done and tender but firm. The fires were just average, but the ranch dipping sauce was great. The Korean fried chicken is a staple here, sweet, crispy, juicy, and just perfect! I then had the haas salad which was huge. The chicken is perfectly cooked and seasoned and the greens are fresh and bright. It did have a tad bit too much dressing for me but something to remember for next time. Service was prompt, but this place does get busy. Parking is plenty as there are lots and streets spots all around.

Yelp
My friends and I came here for brunch on a Saturday. It was a little chilly when we went so no one wanted to sit outside. We were seated almost immediately because we were willing to sit outside. Food: Ube Dirty Chai - This was pretty good, but not enough ube flavor for me. Butter Fried Corn - This was delicious with the little bites of rice cakes. I wish the serving size was bigger because it was so good! Matcha Moffle - This mochi waffle is so good. The matcha lava with the fruit is great. With their sweet options, you can add eggs and bacon to complete the meal. I did this, but gave away the bacon. Service: Service was okay for being outside. We did not see our server too often, and our waters weren't refilled as often as I would have liked. However, everyone was friendly and our food did come out promptly. TL;DR - Good brunch plate with interesting options. Try sitting outside for less of a wait!

Yelp
Have had Sweet Maple bookmarked for a long time and finally made a trip. We ordered the bacon candy, Gardena soufflegg skillet and one croffle. The millionaires bacon was good. Nothing spectacular and def not worth $14 price tag (for two pieces), imo. The soufflegg was extremely dry, under seasoned and the most notable part of the dish were the potatoes, those were excellent. But for an egg dish, the star should be the eggs. Lastly the croffle. This was the best thing we ate. Airy and crisp, sweet and flavorful. But still not something I go out of my way for. The service was good, waiter was nice and the hostess helped fit our big party nicely at our table inside. Overall, my experience was good. But sadly didn't meet the expectations I had for this place.

Yelp
Love the place in terms of food. Came here on a Sunday afternoon. Long wait so we had to split our group. We had 14 people so they split the group into 3 tables but the third table which we were at didn't get to sit down until 20 min after our second table sat down. I thought that was strange as the app had several seaters with over 7 seated first. The food came out pretty quickly. Not sure why the bacon was ice cold. wish it was hot. The bacon tastes more like jerky then bacon. The drink special were on point ( Thai ice tea was fire) We had two children with us and they were accommodating. The bill charges 20 % tip auto so watch out.
