"Sweet Maple, known for its Millionaire’s Bacon, will open a new location at SFO's Terminal 2 in March. The restaurant, originally opened in Pac Heights in 2010, is popular for its thick-cut, brown sugar and cayenne glazed bacon dish and other classic American plates with a touch of Asian influence." - Caleb Pershan

Made the mistake of eating here without checking the reviews because I’ve eaten at their normal, non-airport location and liked it. This airport version is nothing like original. $13 seemed like a good price for the 4 pieces of millionaires bacon because in their normal location, it’s 4 normal sized pieces. In the airport they cut the normal size pieces in half and call it 4 pieces. The $23 burger and fries have no salt or flavor whatsoever.

Food is decent (not great) but the service was atrocious. The waitress seemed completely unfamiliar with the concept of “write the orders down”, and consequently was constantly checking back to make sure the details of the order were right….only for her to still get it wrong. Maybe just write these down instead of juggling five tables’ orders in your head? She also neglected to mention that one of the sides, fries, were missing until it was too late and she was giving the food at the table. Maybe lead with that? The place was also dusty and overall unkept. How did I convince myself to eat here?

Just OK, US$95 for 2 meals and three drinks, the food was OK, the wine super expensive, but nice. Easy atmosphere to sit around and wait for your plane and food came out quickly.

This place is outstanding. The bartender was really nice. The food is very good for an airport. It prices are a little high, but worth it for better food. The bloody Mary was great as well. They ask how spicey I wanted it and it had just the right amout of horseradish. Don't get me started on the "millionare's bacon". It is bucket list for bacon people.

Really enjoyed the breakfast and service we received, took my grandson out for breakfast, and he enjoyed himself, but remember, you have to pay after your order, not a bad thing, since you are in the airport. Great place and friendly.

The beer list is sketchy, lots listed, minimal available. Disappointing. Left without ordering.

Effectively a self service bar at the airport. Ordering is through a QR code at the table. They have only Coors and Blue Moon on tap. I ordered a burger dine in that was obviously made from a frozen patty and was served in an open to go box with cheap to go utensils. Prices on the ordering app are about 10% higher than on the physical menu and they charge a 5% service fee for walking food from the kitchen. There are far better places to eat within 100 feet that have a similar menu at cheaper prices and service that is actually worth paying for.

Great food and great service! Ordered coffee and the morning plate and they even came by to ask if I wanted water and ketchup after I sat down at one of their tables.

Yelp
A little bit pricey but it's to be expected. Aside from that overall great dining selection and 10/10 service at the SFO location

Yelp
I don't usually leave one star reviews, but I just had the worst experience trying to get a drink before a flight. I sat down and ordered via QR code as instructed, and 20 min later, the single server still hadn't started on my drink. Turns out the menu offered online is not the same as what they actually have. Then, it took another 15 minutes to get a drink off their limited menu, which I didn't even want (he insisted on a drink on the house), and they couldn't figure out how to cancel my online order. The offered to comp my drink but then still billed me for it. I should have gone to Lark Creek grill for my drink, instead - no wonder there were still empty seats left at Sweet Maple!

Yelp
I chose this place over Lark Creek Grill right across the hall due to my familiarity with Sweet Maple and because it seemed less crowded. However, it's nothing like the Sweet Maple in Lower Pac Heights. I ordered the regular breakfast, which included scrambled eggs, bacon, and tater tots. The scrambled eggs were dry, tasted like they had just come out of the microwave, and the portion was small. To top it off, they served my food on a plastic plate despite me dining in the restaurant, which was disappointing. At least at Lark Creek Grill , you get a full plate of food with proper plates and silverware.

Yelp
Located in the airport, like any food and drink in these type of locations it was seriously over priced. The breakfast sandwiches were fine as were the side of tater tots. The server made a mistake on order, which was no big deal. Did not bring water I requested. $50 plus is a lot for two breakfast sandwiches and two cups of coffee no refill.

Yelp
This sit down casual restaurant is in Terminal 2, D gate. I got the nachos with pork, and they were delicious. It was $16 (no drink), which was one of the more reasonable options in this terminal. Sitting at the bar gave me quick service and they have outlets under the bar. Waitress was very nice. Was a good place to wait for a flight.

Yelp
Quick service, pretty decent food. Fish and chips were decent. Chips probably better than the fish. Served hot. Pork nachos were ok, not melted cheese but cheese whiz type liquid dip, which is disappointing for $18. Also having nachos served in a bowl ensures coverage of toppings on chips is inconsistant. Full bar.

Yelp
Wow. I did not expect to be giving an airport food spot 5 stars but here we are. Had an amazing breakfast bowl. pricey sure, but it's an airpot what else do you expect. the food was delicious though!

Yelp
Great breakfast spot. Good food and super friendly staff. The millionaires bacon is a must!

Yelp
I normally don't write reviews, but the overall food/service of this place is so bad, I had to write one. * $30 (with 18% tips) for a bland bowl of scrambled eggs, topped with tater tots, sausage, avocado, and tomato chunks. I don't like wasting food, so finishing the bowl felt painful. * Despite having very little customers and the place being quite empty, the lady appeared to be rushing me to leave. * Lady shoved the check to my face less than 20 minutes after I got my meal (I have time-stamps on my phone). I was only mid-way into eating my meal. * After I finished eating, I had to check my work laptop for e-mails, and the lady told me to leave and go sit in the food court. She used the excuse of having a rush of customers, so I had to leave. There was nobody waiting in line, only 5 other customers were in that restaurant, most tables were empty. * There was a customer in there for way longer than I was, he was never told to leave. He was also on his work laptop. If you're going to tell me to leave, tell him to leave too... * I've been to many restaurants before and I've never had a server this rude. If you're in the airport and need to eat, avoid this place. I wish I went to another restaurant.

Yelp
Got a coke and chips and dip. The amount of chips in the bowl for 14$ was pitiful. I assumed that for the price we'd be getting refills of chips or they'd be freshly made. Neither was true. Usually you have a little dip left over from the chips, the dips were half full by the end of the chips. The coke was a Pepsi product, no big deal, but it had an off taste, almost as if it were diet. We asked if it was and the server just said no charge for it and walked away. It's an airport so I assumed there was some price gouging going on but this is ridiculous.

Yelp
The food is very good here ! A bit of a wait but worth it. Try the hot pot. They mixed it for me didn't ask they offered. Ask the mimosa flight is good so great spot for brunch. They close at 2:30 so make sure to get there on time. Outside setting is recommended
