So happy I got to stop by their Coral Gables location!! I had a scoop of Hella Nutella and took home the new Coffee Toffee ice cream bars — let me tell you, I love them so, so much. Sweet Melody’s ice cream is insanely creamy and delicious. 10000% recommend and will definitely be back to try more flavors! 🫶

Stepping into Sweet Melody immediately took me back to the happiest childhood memories I've had with icecream. From the fun decor to the chillest vibes (pun intended) Sweet Melody is a wonderfully delicious place. I met with my friend who brought her daughter and the staff was so patient and kind and allowed endless taste tests to ensure we ended with the perfect scoop of our choice. The flavors are absolutely incredible - hitting the nail on each flavor profile while being the perfect balance of sweet. 10/10 recommend and I love the monthly flavor specials they rotate! Super fun and creative and most importantly delicious.

Sweet Melody Ice Cream is a true gem! The ice cream is absolutely delicious and homemade with love-you can really taste the difference. The shop itself is spotless and has a welcoming, cool & cozy atmosphere. They offer a fantastic variety of unique and creative flavors like baklava, arroz con mango, and even a vegan coconut option that's incredible. Everything is crafted by the owner, and it shows in the quality and care put into every scoop. Highly recommend!

After a nice dinner with a friend on Sunday, we were looking for a place to have some ice cream, and we sort of stumbled into Sweet Melody Crafted Ice Cream... We were so pleasantly and unexpectedly surprised! This is a small ice cream shop on 8th Street SW, on the side of Coral Gables. Their selection of flavors is small but curated and delicious. We had the Abuela Flan flavor which tasted exactly like a Cuban abuelita dessert! The Nutella-inspired flavor was on point, too. They have multiple seasonal and monthly flavors. The service was friendly and courteous. The shop is decorated with album covers and names of pop songs, reinforcing the "melody" theme. The owner wrote back thanking us (a nice gesture!) and clarifying that Melody is also the name of his daughter. Music in theme, intent and flavors! 😊 I highly recommend it!

I came here because it was nearby and offered a ton of gluten free options. At the time I had no idea I was being attended to by the owner and let me tell you that I was beyond amazed by how deliciously authentic this ice cream was and how friendly the owner was. He encouraged us to follow the instagram and thats where I began to learn more about this family-owned company along with how beautiful their story is. I will be visiting their Citadel location since it is closer to home, but this location deserves some love if you happen to be in the area. I tried the Guava Cheesecake, Peanut Buttercup , and Ma-May. All suuuuuppeeeerrr amazing and am so excited to visit again in the near future.

This is my favorite ice cream place in Miami. The flavors are out of this world, everything is made in house and staff is super nice. I can’t wait to go back and try more flavors - they have rotating flavors each week!! I can definitely this becoming a family favorite.

The best ice cream I've had in a while. My son loved his cookies and cookies cone. I saw someone mentioned abuela's flan in a another review, and I decided to give it a try, it surpassed my expectations. It was so creamy, and not overly sweet. I'm definitely coming back to try other flavors, and you can get samples if you're undecided.

Sweet Melody Ice Cream is the BEST ice cream in Miami !!! It's creamy, sweet, and made with authentic flavor combinations. You can really taste the great quality of organic ingredients in each distinctive bold flavor. My favorite is the guava and cream cheese. Absolutely delicious! The staff is very courteous and friendly. It has a unique music memorabilia decor which highlights Famous Miami music Artists. Sweet Melody Ice Cream has become our family favorite ice cream place!

Sweet Melody is the perfect sweet treat! I'd heard but never been. The other night it was cold (for Miami) and we thought let's go get ice cream lol. Even with the colder weather, it was still pretty busy in there! First they will give you samples of anything you want (pls don't take advantage of this it's a small local business and let's support it so they can stay around). They have their signature flavors that are always available and weekly flavors that change well weekly lol. They also have some dairy free options to choose from. I had the Bo & Jo's Guava Cream Cheese, I only sampled this one because once I did I knew I was in love. It was not too sweet and just incredible flavor. My boyfriend had the lavender and fruit loops after tasting that and a Cinnamon Toast Crunch. He said both were delicious but he went with the fruit loops this time. It's pretty close by so we will definitely be back for more deliciously creamy Sweet Melody

I had been sad when their location on S Dixie Hwy closed, so I am glad when they open this place again. It's not close by me at all so I don't get to visit often, but when I go to Coral Gables area I try to check in. They have a parking lot in the back, the entrances are at both ends of the building, kind of hidden so drive slow and keep an eye out. They do offer quite a few flavors, and offer samples in metal spoons (yay for less plastic). They have vegan varieties too, and their kookie blue is natural coloring from spirulina, so if you like me avoid anything with FD&C coloring, feel free to indulge here! Sweet Melody makes their ice cream from scratch, yes, from scratch with milk, not with premix. You can totally taste the greatness in it, so smooth, so creamy, so fresh and natural. Definitely YUM.

The quality of the Sweet Melody Ice cream is superior by al means. This is a family business that makes their iice cream from scratch. You can get their pints and quarts with amazing flavors. The Coral Gables location is also a place where you can stay while you enjoy the ice cream. I like that there is plenty of parking on the premises (hidden in the back, by the small entrance by 8th street). I am sure that this location will thrive as peobably will start delivering ice cram to the different restaurants around in coral gables, too. It is one of the best local ice cream products that I have tasted!

Finally made it to the calle 8 location and after trying almost all the flavors took many pints home sweet melody's is delicious and unique. Love the variety (Mamey, DF coconut, Hella nutella one of my favorites+) and the premium ingredients like in the tahitian vanilla and the Belgian chocolate simple flavors but taken to another level Never gets boring here with such creativity and new flavors every month plus super friendly service and the store is very clean.

Strolled in for dessert after eating at a restaurant nearby, and the server recommended the popular choices as well as his personal favorites. Family friendly atmosphere, will come again!

Love this ice cream unfortunately most of the flavors from the main establishment won't be found at the store unless you buy a whole pint! Cheaper to get their buy 3 pints 1 free deal than coming all the way here to their new shop. Free parking at the back of the establishment

During the pandemic I would drive 35 minutes to get pints of Sweet Melody in Kendall so I am ecstatic that a closer outpost opened up. If you blink you'll miss the turn into the parking but there is plenty of it in the rear. We went in on a Saturday night and were the only people there. Not only do they have their standard delicious flavors, you can get them by the scoop and their cones are fantastic. They almost remind me a stroopwaffel. Try everything, you can't go wrong either whatever you pick.

I've been shopping from this ice cream spot for about three years and i've never been disappointed. It's the creamiest ice cream I've ever had. Every (Seriously, EVERY) flavor is a hit. The owner mike is always involved, i've been both locations (Gables and Kendall location) and he's either cleaning in the back, or scooping up front. All staff has always been helpful, give the best recommendations and always serve with a smile. I tell everyone about this ice cream as it truly is the best i've ever had. I pray every day to get fired from my job so i can come work here and eat ice cream every day lol. Thank you to the Sweet Melody team for always being great and creating the best ice creams EVER!!! HIGHLY recommend English Toffee Bar, Oreooooo, Chocolate Wasted, Baby Yoda!!!!!!!! Anything really, they're are that good.

This hidden gem has the best ice cream in Miami! It's super smooth and creamy, with a natural flavor that's never too sweet. If you don't know about Sweet Melody, try it. You won't regret it! PS: Ran by one of the masters at his craft & the staff is Uber, super friendly too!

Yay! So happy this location finally opened. We needed sweet melody in this oat of the hood. The place is really nice and bright not very big but just right. They have all your favorites to go and you can also sit and enjoy your scoops on-site. All the classics plus rotating favorites including vegan options. My favorite will always be the vegan coconut, it's soo creamy I forget it's non dairy. Great location and there is parking behind the building.

Hot lazy summer Sunday's are great days for a quick visit to Sweet Melody's ice cream. We took home an assortment of flavors and truly enjoyed all of them. No plain vanilla available at Sweet Melody's their flavors are like Miami Spanglish. First generation Miami Cubans can understand this lingo and completely embrace these ice cream flavors. The service was great, you can try any flavor you wish with cute spoons that reminds me of my mom feeding me baby food (compota).

Sweet melody has been my newest obsession for the past few months. My boyfriend and I try to get a pint once a week. I love the concept that they have going on of monthly flavors and then weekly flavors. I have been to both locations that they have and the coral gables one is my favorite. It is more of a traditional ice cream shop with the different tubs of ice cream available for scoops. They also sell the pints in this location. My absolute favorite flavors are the smores and flowers and fruit loops. If you haven't had sweet melody you are definitely missing out and need to try it ASAP. It will bring a smile to your face. The staff here is also super sweet and extremely welcoming. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the ice cream I get just because it's so yummy I forget to take pictures!!! Also, waffles cones on Wednesday are fire and they are super yummy.

My son and I visited this place again for their Grand Opening, we were satisfied! He got a small cup with two scoops, Vanilla and Kookie Monster. I also got a small one with two scoops, tres leches coconut and Kookie Monster. We finished what we ordered and decided to try other flavors. I got a scoop of the lavender with fruit loops and he got a blue one, I believe it was vanilla flavored with sprinkles and a lot of other things in it. Out of all the flavors, Kookie Monster is by far our favorite. We love visiting this place. Great ambiance and service. We recommend it!

Didn't realize this cool little spot was so close to home. I googled ice cream and thought I'd give it a shot. I was greeted by a very nice person named jessica. She was friendly and welcoming and I had the best vanilla bean ever. Was also very pleased with the non dairy option for my husband! Thanks jessica! We will definitely be back!

We decided we needed ice cream after seeing a show at the GableStage (go check it out- they're always doing good stuff) and came across Sweet Melody on SW 8th Street. Could not have found a better spot. Since it was after theater, we were a little concerned that it might not be open but no, there were families and other people in there too so a perfect spot for an after theater treat. Go check them out.

Stopped here on a whim, and it turned out to be the best ice cream weve ever had. The egg nog ice cream... sooooo good.

In Tampa my favorite ice cream was from Chill Bros. I have yet to encounter ice cream that even comes close, until Sweet Melody! I tried the hella nutella and a couple of others, but I went with the hella nutella. The young lady at the counter was very patient, friendly and helpful. It was an overall great experience.

Absolutely incredibly delicious! Like wow! We ordered some ice cream through Postmates and we are in love. Their guava and cream cheese ice cream has become a favorite. And their Belgian chocolate is incredible. This ice cream shop is a must!

So wait, you get coffee flavored ice cream for the coffee lovers and it's also vegan mixed with Oreo cookie all in one scoop? Yep that's what I just enjoyed at this joint which I happened to find on Yelp after craving ice cream. Didn't know location had been open for 2 months only and they have other locations as well. They have a lot of flavors to choose from but they're also rotating flavors meaning these flavors are not always available but this café sin leche vegan flavor was just what I needed to end the day. As far as service and prices...Mily was most welcoming and attentive and super sweet and fun to talk to for a while since it was only us too in there. She's the nicest young woman and face at this location. Will for sure come back to try, if available, grandmas sewing kit which was delicious and maybe the kookie monster as well. Prices are surprisingly low considering anything around this area is, well, not so cheap.

I was very excited to try this ice cream shop. I arrived to the Coral Gables location on a Wednesday afternoon at 4pm to find the store closed (supposed to be open at 3pm). Called the store # and was told by an employee that she had no idea why the location was closed and no helpful info.... Really bad business. If you're listed as open, you should be open, or at least have the person answering the phone know if there was a last minute emergency to let customers know.

I'd been wanting to try this ice cream for a while, so I was thrilled to find this location had opened close to me. All I can say is WOW!!! We got 4 pints to go to take advantage of the buy 3 get 1 free special. We tried the guava and cream cheese and the mamey flavors. They were both so good it's hard to pick which we liked best! My hubby said that this is the best ice cream he's ever had, and I heartily agree! It's so creamy and delicious that I can't even describe how absolutely fantastic it is. We've tried other ice cream shops and there is no comparison. We can't wait to go back and try all the flavors.
