Sweet Science Ice Cream

Flavors and service were great, but I only give 4 stars because of the messiness of my order. I ordered a single cone with two flavors, one of which was salted caramel. The scoop was drizzled with caramel which proceeded to run down my arm, even though the cone was wrapped in a napkin. It tasted good, but left a little to be desired for the overall experience.

You had me at rhubarb! I could not wait to try the Rhubarb Cinnamon Almond so i talked the mister into the 30 minute drive to Como for a scoop - once we got there I added a scoop of Berry Crumble too. We left Como and I made him stop at Kowalski’s on the way home to buy a bunch. So good. Really! I usually go for chocolate, pack it with candy, fudge, nuts, etc. but I gotta give it to the fruit! The rhubarb and berry have the sweet, wholesome, delicious flavor of the baked desserts my grandma used to make only always with the ice cream! :) For the reviews dropping a star or two for price, I say you get what you pay for and when it comes to the taste of Sweet Science ice cream, it is worth every penny.

This place is great! So many creative flavors. I was helped by a lovely woman with green hair. She recommended the basil mixed with the strawberry mascarpone, it was so good. I wanna go back just to chat with her! Highly recommend

First I want to say I love the ice cream! However, it is extremely expensive. Located on Lake Como where I have taking my family for years walking or biking around the lake. I have to pay over $5 for one small scoop of ice cream in a cup. I think it's just too expensive for the average family that walks around the lake to feed the kids ice cream. Bring in old fashioned ice cream cones for a couple dollars and some different ice cream Novelties that the average family can afford. Absolutely nothing against the ice cream place wonderful people but I'm just not sure it's the right fit for the average family enjoying family time around the lake.

Pro: Salted Caramel Swirl flavor was absolutely delicious! Cons: Terrible bang for your buck. The single cone was closer in size to what I would consider a child size at comparable competitors.
