Sweet Sofia’s

What a refreshing place! So clean and the desserts are fabulous. All the homemade frozen fruit popsicles paletas have the real fruit in them. We had the banana split and crape this time and they were so good. We have to go back and try more of everything.

My ice cream at Sweet Sofia is very good, but the experience we had today with the clerk was disappointing. Normally service has been fine, but today it felt unnecessarily rude. I came in with my 2-year-old for a scoop. Like any toddler, he was just walking around quietly, but the clerk told him to stay right next to me, then came over almost shouting that he must stay at my side at all times. It felt harsh and out of place for an ice cream shop. Later, when we came back with my older son, my younger one asked for a spoon to taste his brother’s ice cream. The clerk refused, saying he had already used two spoons on a previous visit. I didn’t realize spoons were being tracked per customer. Ice cream shops should feel fun and welcoming for children and families. I truly hope the owner sees this and responds, because the product is great and I’d like to continue coming here. just not if this kind of treatment is the norm.

Great place for some great snacks! Would go back anytime! I got the water based strawberry popsicle. Pretty good prices (see the photos attached) They are also hiring.

Everything was amazing and the young lady behind the counter seemed a little shy but very sweet. Thank you so much for your service and amazing treats! We got the banana split, churro split, and the fresas con crema to go. Everything was awesome but the fresas con crema was my favorite. It was SO delicious. We will be back!!! ❤️❤️❤️

My son and I planned all week to come here for his birthday. He really wanted to blow his candles on a piece of flan. They didn’t have it stocked. I love to support small businesses but don’t like when they lack consistency. My son was bummed and disappointed. Which obviously made me sad. Had to find another place to make it up to him. Pretty disappointing to not have your menu updated. Don’t have the tamales either. Even though is written on their board.

Such a cute place! The mangonada was delicious! They have a huge menu of delicious treats from ice cream to paletas, loco chips, Mexican street corn, crepes, and traditional Mexican treats like gelatinas, fruta con crema, and so much more! Highly recommended!!!

Sweet Sofia's in Bellevue is a fantastic spot. They offer a wide range of treats, from classic ice cream scoops to gourmet popsicles. The parking lot is convenient, making it easy to stop by and enjoy their goodies. It's my top choice for satisfying my sweet cravings.

This place is so cute. It has a huge selection of sweet treats and several savory snacks as well. Their house made flan is the best I have ever had. They even have a large selection of nondairy house made paletas which makes it a great place for a vegan to get a treat.

Sweet Sofia's is the place to come for good ice cream! It's a Mexican ice cream place that has a focus on sweet treats from the region along with a variety of ice cream flavors for anyone. Everything they have is made in-house making it that much better tasting. We come here often with friends because it is so good, and locally owned. If you want delicious paletas, mangonadas, churros, or flan, this is the place to come. These are just a few desserts they have, but they also have some savory items I have not tried. I'm a suckered for their coconut or pineapple paletas along with their piña coloda ice cream. Makes me feel like I'm tasting things at the beach. Parking is VERY LIMITED. It is next to Domino's within a small lot. Good luck on getting it because there isn't a ton of parking otherwise nor is there street parking. They have restrooms inside for customers to use and limited table seating along with a couple of tables outside of the shop. It can get very loud inside, especially when a board of kids come in for their ice cream fix with their parents. If you do not mind the chaos, enjoy dining in. We usually dine-in and suck it up, but it doesn't go without testing my nerves. I do not like overly feral children who disobey their parents when instructed to calm down and get back in line. As a new mom, I try to give these families (the size of the Brandy Bunch) the benefit of the doubt, but it doesn't come easily. Dine in at your own noise tolerance. You've been warned.

The food is great; however, I just can't go into their store. This place needs to fix their ventilation system ASAP. Every time I have gone in the store... EVERY TIME, my clothes, my hair, my skin, etc, reek of grease and the smell is unbearable and so strong. I have to take a shower right away when I get home, and wash my clothes to get rid off it. Not good! I have even gotten their paletas outside of their store (at my kid's school's carnival) and even the paletas' wrapper has that smell. I hate to leave a bad review but the store owners need to know that they have an issue, so they can fix it.

There are a lot of different options. Sweet treats, hot food, and drinks. The mango popsicle I got was delicious. Prices were a bit high, but everything we got was good.

Support your local shops! Super "sweet" ;) spot run by mom & daughter. Besides fantastic paletas, sorbets, and ice cream and other sweet treats...they also offer snacks like "Dorilocos" (kinda like special nachos), street corn, tamales, aqua frescas, and smoothies! Vasttttttt menu. Lots of stuff that you don't see in mainstream/corporate-style shops! Great prices, too! Very reasonable cost. And they even have a cutesy photo wall for the instagrammers! Note: only open until 8:30 on Sat night. Looked like 8:00 pm on most other night...so hot this sweet spot early!

Our whole family loves Sweet Sofia's. It's the perfect snack and paleta addition to the neighborhood. We usually do 2 paletas to share and an agua fresca to sip on. We typically opt for horchata, but they had a hibiscus tea when we went last that was excellent. We haven't dove into their savory snack options, but they have all the street favorites like Doritos locos, walking tacos, and more. There's a private lot they share with Domino's and the pet shop next door. It's a little chaotic but worth it for the sweet treats! Service is always kind, efficient , and easygoing. FYI for parents: there is a restroom but no changing table insides

So good!! They have ice cream as well as fruit bars and Mexican-style dessert like street corn, fruit topped with chamoy and tahini, and churros. Very cute place too! Decorated and fun environment. I am excited to come again!!

Came in on a slow Thursday afternoon with a group of 25 people. Only one employee was there, but she was amazing - she patiently took every order with a smile and prepared them all without any hint of attitude. Good prices, good treats, great service.

We came here as a very rare treat. "Are there any ice cream shops on Bellevue?" My husband asked. " I think a new one opened up right across from Victors, next to the pet store and by the tanning place!" (Making it sound like, what doesn't Bellevue have now!?) The parking lot is shared with Dominoes and Nashville Pet Products center. As we walked in, the place was clean and bright with cute decor. We received friendly and fast service, and there was a great selection. We sampled some ice cream flavors. Out of the 5 or 6 flavors we tried, we found that the ice creams that were more full tasted more fresh compared to the ice creams that were lower or almost gone. I can only deduct this has to do with freshness, but that's an assumption. Also, while I imagine wooden tasting spoons are more ecological than plastic, it's possible they also leave a slight weird taste taking away from the ice cream taste since the tastings are so tiny. These are tidbits, but are the reasons I couldn't give 5 Stars, since some of the ice creams (each almost empty cartons) had that older ice cream taste. I would love to return when the Butter Pecan, Bunny tracks, and one with peanut butter (?) are full and see if my hypothesis is true. Nywys, we got the Churros with Cookies and Cream ice cream. SO good! The Churros are warm, filled and delicious. I got a double scoop of Strawberry cheesecake and Chocolate, both which were delicious, in a waffle cone. We would definitely return and recommend others to visit as well!

We stopped by Sweet Sofia's after a friend highly recommended it. It's a very cute little shop. Sweet young woman working behind the counter. My husband had the Rainbow ice cream. I had Flan Esperanza and my cousin had a coconut paleta (popsicle). Everything is delicious. It's a cute small business. Definitely try it and check out the little pet store next door.

Excellent ice cream and great service. One of my favorite places in Bellevue. The ice cream is simply the best. Scoot over Jeni's,...Sweet Sofia's has you beat!!

I stopped in for some street corn and flan at this great little new spot in Bellevue called Sweet Sofia's (Next door to Nashville Pet Products and Dominos on Old Harding Pike). Both were very good. Interesting menu...they have crepes, ice cream, paletas, and some other snack/street food. I'll be back.

Cute little treat shop. Friendly and quick service. The churros were delicious and warm. We were in on a Thursday evening a little before closing, so we had the place to ourselves.

What a fun addition to Bellevue! Everything we have tried has been delicious! Lots of yummy flavors of ice cream and popsicles. I want to try their crepes and Mexican snacks next! Plus, the decor is super cute and pink, and the owners are so kind.

Very sweet people, all the treats/snacks are so good! The inside is so pretty, such a cute place with and beautiful area to take pictures as well! They also have some seats out in the front! Definitely worth stopping by!!

Fairly priced popsicles in a variety of flavors, and the ones I've tried have been very good. Ice cream is smooth and creamy in mostly standard flavors with a few exceptions - not quite as interesting as the popsicle selection. The specialties, like the mangonada, for example, are the way to go. Good service and the wait is never long. There's a lot of seating in a creatively decorated space.

Super cute place for ice cream and popsicle. They also have amazing horchata which is hard to come by in Bellevue. Great service every time. The little girl Sophia is adorable too when she's there. Perfect little spot!

The lobby was clean and had a good atmosphere. The lady working the counter was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the churros and coctel de frutas and both were delicious and the presentation was nice. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

I am so happy to have discovered this hidden gem in Bellevue! My family has sampled a number of their offerings--paletas, flan, Mexican street corn, horchata, and home-made jello--and all have been fabulous. The decor is bright and cheerful. And you will not find a place that welcomes you more warmly. We will definitely be back.
