Sweet Spoon

Sweet Spoon is such a cute cozy and most of all, delicious ice cream place! I absolutely loved it, the ice cream was super delicious and the shakes We had were good too! One thing i will say, prices are a bit expensive ($12.49 for a 24oz Shake) but other than that it was really really good! I 100% Recommend.

New place that went into Scoop and Scootery’s old spot, same type of ice cream place like large over topped sundaes, ice cream was pretty good but pretty pricey, fine once in a while spot, clean inside, music was loud and all over the place, staff is friendly

Like some of the other reviews have mentioned the place definitely just feels like a slightly similar priced generic version of a Scoop and Scottery (RIP Late night pickups from the Brighton location). I don’t wanna feel like I’m being negative because the staff are extremely friendly and the environment is very welcoming (and kept a bit cleaner tbh). But I have to agree with the ice cream sundaes just not having that same “wow factor”. The favors are decent, and I’m sure the casual ice cream goer won’t have any issues with them, but just not like a “must have” sort of ice cream. All in all, I wish them much success, but it just doesn’t really have the same appeal as the previous Scoop and Scottery (still unsure why they closed, this is a PRIME location especially for delivery partners like Uber & DoorDash). I would say if you’re just looking for a quick bite of ice cream and this place is convenient it’s not a bad option. My opinion is my own but if they improved the pricing or offered something unique or competitive then I can see this place getting super popular.

We went to get ice cream tonight thinking this was still the previous place (Scoop N Scootery). From looking outside it’s exactly the same. Inside we noticed it looked a bit cleaner. They had the same cups and general set up inside. We realized after I asked why the menu changed and they didn’t have my normal flavor that it was a different place now. Either way, since so much looked like it used to, we ordered a large sundae expecting it to be a similar quality. In my opinion it doesn’t compare. There was not much to the ice cream and toppings were very standard, and not over the top. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and the store was very clean and organized.

Scoop and Scootery prices but much lower quality. The sundaes barely fill the cup and the toppings aren’t anything special. Staff was friendly and space was clean but they really need to improve the quality if they’re going to charge this premium price.

Loved this place. Excellent, high-end luxury ice cream. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. The negative reviews bear no similarity to my experience. My only criticism would be that they need to use sturdier containers and covers.

Sweet Spoon Ice Cream - A Bittersweet Experience Our first visit to Sweet Spoon about three months ago was amazing! I was thrilled to finally find a spot that had Cherry Vanilla--my all-time favorite--and it was everything I hoped for: creamy, rich, and not artificial tasting. A total win! I also tried the Chocolate Peanut Butter, another favorite, and it was just as delicious. I left thinking we'd found our new go-to ice cream spot. But sadly... our second and third visits were a big letdown. The texture was off, the flavor felt flat, and it just didn't have that same freshness or richness we were so excited about the first time. It honestly felt like a completely different product--and that kind of shift in quality in such a short time is really disappointing. We wanted to love this place, but after giving it a few tries... we're officially moving on.

We love a good local business in the neighborhood. Sweet Spoon replaced what used to be scoop n scootery and I gotta say it's very similar! I'm talking huge portions, tons of pre-made menu/sundae items, a similar price range, tons of toppings and sauces, and the inside is essentially set up the same too. After about 7 minutes of me looking at the menu trying to decide what to get, I ended up making my own sundae. I did vanilla with hot fudge, whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and brownie bites. The vanilla was nothing crazy. Not insanely good, but definitely not bad at all. Next time I definitely want to try one of their other flavors. The portions here are HUGE. We both got the mini size and they were still so big. I couldn't even finish my ice cream and that neverrrr happens to me. My sister got the strawberry shortcake sundae and she really liked it. They've got incredibly kind and patient staff working here. Huge plus

Definitely a downgrade from the business that used to be there- all of the personality is gone. Even though the prices and some of the specialty sundaes are the same, the portions were smaller and the quality seemed lower. Also, the use of AI art all over the store was very sad.
