The cutest spot i found visiting my friend in Brooklyn. Friendly staff ! Really good food ! We had two sandwiches and the salmon Avacado toast. Matcha and cappuccino were delicious also!

The best service, fair prices, EXCELLENT FOOD!! The entire team is very attentive, the food is flavorful, but there's something more: it's made with love and pride!! The wait for your food is totally worth it. The chef, who is also the owner, is a sweetheart. A place I highly recommend visiting if you're in the Brooklyn (Flatbush) area. You won't regret it!!

I had the most amazing time today at Sweet Sunday’s Café in Brooklyn. The atmosphere was amazing and the music was a constant flow of calm. I had the chopped cheese and the Kremes Dirty Chai I had was to die for. The barista Viva made a conscious effort to check on me. They even bring your food out to you as you do your work.(Great for us remote workers) I will definitely come back again the kitchen, the staff, EVERYTHING was a 10 out of 10. I loved their modern twist on the New York staple of the chopped cheese. Flatbush has a new staple café in New York, put it on the map!!!

It is a nice set up but a micro-looking classic Starbucks but more Brooklyn. There is lucky free parking. The food was different. The waffle is a win. The bacon was not. The servicer was amazing and the coffee was good.

Pretty good food. Waffle was yummy and very sweet. Eggs and bacon were average. The truffle fries were tasty though not as crispy as I thought they’d be. Overall nice little breakfast joint!

We came on a Monday morning. It was definitely smaller than we realized, we thought it was more of a sit down cafe type place, but its not really. There was some seating and small tables indoors, but they were all taken, so we sat at the outside table. No big deal. The food was delicious and not too pricey. I got a waffle with eggs and my partner got a bacon egg and cheese. It was super yummy. The staff was friendly and chill, and the fold came out fairly quickly. I'll certainly come back another day.

Of course I came for the Cremas Matcha latte! It was delicious 10/10. I also had the hot chocolate which was just okay 5/10. I had the Avocado toast with smashed avocado, turkey bacon & a fried egg, solid 7/10. I also the Spinach Feta bistro it was delicious 9/10. Overall I give this place a 7.5 or 8 out of 10.

Cute little place! I got the belgian waffle and the Kremas matcha latte and my boyfriend got the omelet with potato wedges and a latte. I really enjoyed the Kremas matcha latte and the potato wedges. I'll definitely be coming back for another matcha and to try the Haitian patties (they were sold out when I went unfortunately).

I love supporting locally owned businesses, and was so happy to have stumbled upon Sweet Sunday's Cafe. It's located in the heart of Little Caribbean right off the Beverly Rd stop. I tried the kremas latte and it was delicious. Idk what kind of coffee they use, but it's strong! (In a good way). Everyone here is friendly too! Lots of space to do work or sit and chat with a friend. Will definitely be back!

Back again from another Kremas Matcha. Wanted it warm but they gave it to me iced... no worries. Also got the apple turnover. Both were delicious! Service was a little bit slow. The cafe is bright and inviting, lots of people had their laptops.

Really good food, and considerate service, which means they are definitely going to need more space or another location soon!! Great options for vegans and several for gluten-free- which is very welcome!! 12-1pm Saturday was wall to wall packed with people ordering and waiting for orders. If they could implement a system for texting when an order is ready- it may cut down on everyone waiting in the order area, versus the current method of calling out order numbers and people potentially not hearing them outside or in the second area where most of the seating is. This would probably be the biggest first improvement to their waiting area experience on busy days. The prices are also quite amazing for the quality of food and portion, so I think we all put up with the crowd for that reason alone. We did have one issue on our order which meant it took 40min from order to being ready. Apparently the vegan chopped cheese protein had not been defrosted and needed additional heating time to come up to serving temperature. Multiple apologies were given and free pastry was offered, but we just waited outside even where it was chilly and inside was full, and it was still worth the wait... which says a lot about quality.

Stopped by on a Sunday morning after church for a quick bite to eat. The front entrance is a bit tight but there are some tables once you're done placing your order where you can sit and wait or dine in if you'd like. I ordered the mango rose lemonade dor my drink. For my meal I ordered two Haitian patties. One was chicken and the other was oxtail. I honestly don't know which one was which. They both tasted very similar. But nonetheless it tasted good. I also tried the kremas matcha. Not a matcha girlie at all but they are on to something adding the kremas. Haitians really do everything the best.

Found out through this app about this place. I was curious about this "chopped cheese" sandwich concoction. As a long time Brooklynite I'm afraid I haven't heard of this. Then I found this place. A cute Cafe within walking distance? Sold! Plus the viral matcha kremas sold me. So I went today for a chopped cheese and matcha kremas. The counter space is quite small. Staff was courteous. Seating area is larger and I like the furniture. I was given hot sauce and ketchup when asked. The Haitian woman, who I presume is the owner?, was very nice. The chopped cheese was nice and filling. I hear it gets messy when unwrapped and its definitely true. But the food was packed up so it wasn't a problem. You can choose wedges or salad. I chose wedges. They were long and fat. One wasn't fully cooked. But well seasoned. I might come back for the vegan option. Then there was the kremas matcha. Kremas, for those who don't know, is like Haitians version of eggnog. According to the owner they make it with oat milk as they find it creamier. It's non alcoholic. I was impressed! I ordered the small. It was enough. I drank it after the meal and there was no separation of ingredients. Not too sweet. They also have a latte version and I am planning on coming back for that. I also bought some pastries to try at home. I wanted to try their patties especially their Oxtail one but apparently they sell out early. I'd definitely visit again. It's near the 2 and 5 stop.

We decided to try this place. We called in our order and they said it would be ready within 15 mins The interior is cute very quaint. And the food was ready as they stated. The customer service over the phone and in person was delightful. Got the food back home it was hot and tasty. The portions looked small at first but it was extremely filling. I think its the choice to use ciabata. I had the chicken panini. And 'freind' ordered a bacon egg and cheese with turkey bacon they offer pork and vegan as well.

I love seeing black owned businesses pop up in my city! The customer service was amazing from the time I walked in! I was greeted my the owner and she recommended the kremas matcha! As a matcha girlie I can say this was a unique take on matcha. This place was super cute and cozy. I would def come back to get some work done! The food was so good! My bacon egg and cheese was amazing! My mom had the BLT and she loved it! Brooklyn this is def a go to spot!

I dropped into this neighborhood cafe for brunch and left impressed. Staff were genuinely welcoming and paced service perfectly - quick when I needed to log on, relaxed when I wanted to linger. My avocado toast and iced matcha were fresh, flavorful and generously portioned. The small, sunlit dining room feels cheerful and casual. Prices are easy on the wallet, great bang for tasty, honest food.

Five stars, no question! I've already been twice this week. The first visit was so good we didn't even think about taking photos just ate everything in sight. Today I finally grabbed a few shots, but only after polishing off my vegan cornbread and vegan BLT no evidence left, haha. Must-tries: Vegan BLT - smoky, crispy, and full of flavor Vegan cornbread - moist and perfectly seasoned Spinach patty - fresh and satisfying My friend raved about the oxtail patty and a warm, cinnamon-spiced tea. Huge thanks to the wonderful Chef Fafa and her welcoming team for turning two stressful days completely around. I'll definitely be back.

Every time I got off the train I kept seeing this café, but I would never go in. I finally went in and I absolutely loved it. The space was much larger than I expected to be. The customer service was great and the food was pretty delicious!

This is one of the best cafes I've been to in a while. First off, the service is amazing. Everyone that works here was super attentive and helpful. The food 10:10...everything is well flavored and comes out hot and fresh. The drinks are super tasty as well. Recently I've noticed that a lot of cafes BLAST music when you're trying to work, take a call, or even just catch up with a friend and it becomes very overstimulating and distracting. This cafe had light music in the background that set a vibe, but wasn't overbearing..it allowed me to get work done and made me want to spend more time and money here. I'll def be back & I thoroughly enjoyed my experience here. I'll be recommending! :D

Really quaint but delicious menu options. Service was smooth and the barista was very kind. The kremas matcha I had was amazing and will be back for the chopped cheese.

I was looking for a cafe to have a virtual meeting at and I saw this place. Totally random and I chose it bc I liked the name. I chose well bc SSC is amazing. I had a grilled cheese with turkey ham and potato wedges. Everything was seasoned well and flavorful. The Butterfly Mango tea was so good. The owners were so kind and the ambiance and service are top notch. It's right next to the Beverley station so it's super easy to get to. Give this place a try! I look forward to coming back!

Kremas Matcha is so good and well balanced. Not too sweet, still Matcha forward. I got mine with oat milk and wanted a second! I also ordered a turkey bacon, egg and cheese sandwich and it was so fresh. The bread was soft and crunchy on the outside - eggs were not overcooked. Overall I really enjoyed my meal, service was top notch - ironically I came on a Sunday and must say their name matches the experience. Definitely will be back!

This place is relatively new and I saw its grand opening in Instagram and saved it for a rainy day. In some ways it has location going for it. It is right next door to the 2/5 Beverly Road train station. So for people heading to work, this could be a place to grab a specialized coffee/drink or pastry to go. But I think it works better as a cafe for a quick bite. It works in a relatively small space with four stool seats near window. It wasn't busy when I visited but it would be a tight squeeze if you plan on staying. But it also has free wifi and ac so during hot summer days, it could be a great option. I really would go back for the menu and their service. They have the standard fancy coffee options (espresso, mocha, etc.) and milk alternatives. But they also have special drinks like the cremas matcha which is matcha mixed with a popular Haitian drink which was great. They also have refreshers (fruit based drinks) plus a great assortment of pastries and food options for breakfast and lunch. Even a chopped cheese on brioche. In addition to the options, I just generally liked the people who were working there. They checked if I wanted anything else. Even asked me if they can position the AC to make it more comfortable for myself. I am usually in the area once a month but I will try to go more just to support

I really liked the food and service here. The place is a bit small with only 4 seats, but they make up for it with their amazing service and tasty food. Chopped cheese on a brioche - 9/10 It melted in my mouth but was a bit salty on one end Rose matcha - 10/10 Really liked this drink and they also recommended me this one after they ran out of the other matcha drink. I substituted with almond milk though. Oxtail patty - 10/10 Didn't know what to expect for the patty, but I wasn't disappointed with it at all. It was crunchy and soft and had just enough butter alongside oxtail Overall will come back again for a quick bite

Sweet Sunday's Café is definitely my go-to breakfast spot in Flatbush, outside of my own kitchen. Their coffee always hits the spot if you know good coffee. I usually go for the bacon, egg, and cheese, and who knew a "BEC" could feel this classy. The separate seating area makes it easy to have a real conversation with friends.

Very friendly coffee and breakfast/lunch spot right off the Beverly 2/5 stop. The drip coffee is great and the food is absolutely delicious. They really care about their food and it shows. It's a cozy and bright place to have a seat catch up and have a bite before hopping on/off the subway or just for a break on a work from home day. A real gem in the neighborhood.

Sweet Sunday's is such a delicious addition to the neighborhood and literally just off the 2/5 Beverly Rd stop. I've had the oxtail and chicken patties . They've got such a perfect flake and the oxtail is MM! I've tried to catch the spinach patty as well but it keeps selling out! Lol I'm positive it's also yum. I've also tried and gifted the financiers and they are also delicious and were devoured by the gifteeeees!

Amazing Customer service! Me and my girlfriend stopped by for their Kremas Matcha beverage and it was phenomenal! I would definitely recommend this place for everyone to check it out. Great people, Great food, Where's the problem?!

Have been going to the shop for my croissants/pain au chocolat in the morning for work roughly since they opened up. Always a hospitable & warm environment, in a nice & very cozy space!! I kept going for those croissants lol (which are delicious!!!!) & up until today I had never gotten to sit down and indulge on the menu. I got the BEC & a butterfly lemonade.. 10/10 everything was 10/10. The BEC is probably the best I've tasted in a while, slight twist to a classic but you gotta try it to see! The butterfly lemonade was perfect, not too sweet & so refreshing and delicious I had to get a second one to go & a red velvet muffin! Happy neighbor here, and will continue to support.. Thank you guys!!

I found my new spot for my almost daily iced coffee needs. The service and atmosphere is great here too. So far I've had the bacon, egg, & cheese sandwiches and the BLT sandwiches. Both were great.

What a gem! I've been to Sweet Sunday's twice in one week and was tempted to visit for the 3rd time today. It's a quaint spot right outside the Beverly Road subway station so it can be easy to miss. They recently came to the neighborhood with a grand opening in May. Each time I went the staff was so warm and inviting. The owner Felix is super sweet, and I believe the executive chef Fabiola was also there when I visited. So lovely with a nice sense of humor. Everything I tried was incredibly fresh and delicious. My favorites were the almond croissant, and the oxtail patty which had the flakiest most buttery delicious crust I have ever tasted. The lemon loaf cake and vegan banana muffin were also hits. I can't wait to try the Haitian hot chocolate in the cooler months. I'm rooting for this small Black-owned business! There are tons of Caribbean bakeries in the area but it's nice to see a place like Sweet Sunday pop up bringing elevated treats to the area. Bravo!

It's not often that you eat something so good it sticks with you, and it's all you can think about. Such a thing is rare for me, but that was my experience at Sweet Sunday's Cafe. I ordered a chopped cheese and a dirty chai, both were the best version I've ever tasted, in the city or otherwise. The staff is warm and friendly, the cafe is adorable, its conveniently located right next to a subway stop, and the food is unforgettable. I can't wait to go back and try their croque sandwiches! Whenever I'm in Brooklyn, yall can count on me as a loyal customer.

Great breakfast and personable service. I had a dirty chai (espresso shot in a chai latte) and it was amazing. I buy my own chai at home and take it very seriously and was pleased to hear from the owners that they had sampled a lot of different chais before they hit upon a perfect combo. I also had a bacon egg and cheese which was more elevated from your typical bodega fare. Really lovely atmosphere. Felt like a neighborhood place where they would eventually memorize your order and start your day the right way.
