Oprah Names North Carolina Pecan Crisp Cookies One of Her ‘Favorite Things’ | Eater Carolinas

"A retail shop owned by the same baker that forms part of her small-business portfolio alongside her cookie brand; it is presented as one of her retail outlets connected to her Southern baking and hospitality ventures." - Erin Perkins

Discovered this store while visiting Raleigh a few years ago, and always stop by the few times I'm in the area. I'd be giving them a lot more money if I could order online and get stuff shipped. I was told by an employee one time they were working on creating a website two years ago, but still waiting sadly.

Lovely store and very nice but TOTAL RIP OFF on pricing. I bought a local product to avoid shipping charges but the total purchase was TWICE the cost of ordering direct and paying shipping. Bah humbug Will never shop here again and would urge you to check the online pricing.

The Store employee was super informative & nice. She gave us tons of background on several items in the store & also about the owner. It’s a small, but super cute & organized store that sells sauces, coffees, Tea, Honey, jewelry, cooking products, decorations, shirts, & etc., all made by NC natives. They also sell Veteran owned products. My Mother In Law & Husband brought several items. We’ll definitely visit again, next time we’re in the area

Made a stop in today and chatted with Judy, what a lovely gal!! She made our visit a little more fun and we learned a lot about the store. The whole place is not very big, but they do carry many items all created, crafted, and sold with NC love. We'll be back!

This place was absolutely adorable and had a wonderful selection of products. However the employees made me want to NEVER return. My family walked in and were immediately greeted upon walking in by a woman who came and stood right beside us, didn’t say a word, and watched us like a hawk about two feet away from us, staring straight at us. She then followed us around the store as we shopped, and as soon as I picked an item up she ran up to me and told me it had to be kept at the counter. She then came back to continue following us around the store again. After being made to feel uncomfortable we decided to leave. We went to the register and the woman followed us back there, didn’t even smile, and said “Are you done?” as my daughter was trying to pick out a caramel at the register. My daughter got embarrassed and didn’t even get one because she felt uncomfortable as well at that point. She made me show her my ID for a jar of salsa and was just so rude the entire time. I wish I wouldn’t have been followed around and made to feel uncomfortable because there was a lot I liked and would have gotten. Unfortunately because of the attitude we received and being made to feel like a thief, I won’t be returning.

It’s the perfect store for just the right gift, Brie is very helpful, and Tonya’s cookies are amazing!

The owner is sooo sweet and down to earth! I ran to the mall right before Thanksgiving because I refused to go out of town without some of her Peanut Brittle Crisp. She was already closed but when I asked when she would reopen she opened up for me. I spent more money because I really appreciated her letting me in. I tell anyone who will listen about her store and products.
