If I could give this place a -10, I would. From the moment we walked in, the cashier’s presentation and attitude were disappointing. She was rude, never smiled, and gave me a snowball that was mostly ice with very little syrup. With coconut flavor especially, it needs a bit more syrup because it absorbs into the ice, but she did not seem receptive.
At first I thought it was just me, but she treated other customers the same way. I drove from Baton Rouge for the experience, and it was extremely underwhelming. I considered speaking to the owner, who was there, but it did not seem like it would be productive.
The crawfish nachos were good, and I want to be fair about that. However, the overall experience overshadowed the food. When customer service is poor, it diminishes everything else. We spent about $70 on nachos and egg rolls, and for that price, the experience should match the quality.
Food can be good, but if the service is bad, it makes the entire visit disappointing.
