It's a great place to visit when trying to satisfy your sweet tooth. Very easy place to find and plenty of parking. A welcoming place, greeted with a free cookie when you walk in. There are plenty of choices to get, from cookies, cakes, cinnamon rolls, to pies and banana pudding. Friendly customer service, answering any question you have. They even have bulk options for any event. For those who like their sweets a little less sweet, they even have options on their frosting, if you want less or more or even on the side for you to enjoy. I recommend the cinnamon rolls with light frosting, it is sure to satisfy. Don't forget $2 tuesday, any flavors for lemonade and cold brew. Will definitely be back to get a taste of their ice cream.

Ordered a maple brown butter bundt with cream cheese frosting and it tasted amazing. It was so moist, fresh, and not too sweet. Placing an order was very easy too. I will be purchasing again to try the other flavors.

I used to be a frequent customer at this bakery—mainly for their chocolate chip cookies, which I really enjoyed. However, during one of my regular visits, I saw something that completely changed my opinion. I watched the owner, Mathew, walk in from Subway, go straight behind the counter, and begin scooping cookie dough onto a baking sheet—without washing his hands. It was incredibly unsanitary and honestly, pretty disgusting. Unfortunately, the same goes for the rest of the staff. They handle your baked goods with the same gloves they use to take cash and touch other surfaces, without ever changing them. That lack of basic hygiene is one of the major reasons I stopped going there. Cleanliness should be a top priority in any food establishment, and sadly, that doesn’t seem to be the case here.

I adore Sweet Valentine Bakery!! I mean, when people come, they are greeted with a scrumptious FREE (yes, FREE) chocolate chip cookie. From the presentation to the cleanliness, service, promptness, and more! One of my favorite features of this location is the 'Grab & Go' area. Finally, the Sweet Valentine Staff always wishes you "Have a Sweet Day!" I highly recommend that you stop by!!

Never have anything ready in the morning waited for them to open and when they finally did, they said it would be 20 more min. Never heard of a bakery that doesn’t have pastries ready to go in the morning especially at $8 for. Cinnamon roll.

Their customer service is excellent! I just try there cranberry cookies with white chocolate. OMG!!! They got me... is fresh, soft and delicious 😋 😍 cinnamon roll 🔥. I will be going back.

If you're looking for that real home baking feel, with that southern charm look no further. The food speaks for itself, but what really puts it over the top is the friendly staff and warm ambience of the bakery. It's hard to recommend one thing because they have something for everyone, but for me I can't leave without getting at least one cinnamon roll and some banana pudding. They provide catering and help you figure out everything you need to make your occasion perfect! I've gotten catering from them before and it always feels like the trays are made with extra love. The staff always leaves you with the phrase, "Have a sweet day!" The perfect way to walk out and start the day.

Holy smokes this place is good! I went in today with the goal of getting some banana pudding. The store is locate in a small shopping center with a DD's discounts and next to a Subway. There's lots of parking so no worries there. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted and offered a cookie "sample" that was delicious. I put quotes around sample as it was a normal sized cookie. There was a variety of pastries and sweets from cookies to croissants, cobbler, and of course banana pudding. I got two of the original flavor and one Nutella flavor. There was also a Biscoff flavor that's a must try for next time. Both the original and Nutella flavors were absolutely dreamy! Creamy and just the perfect amount of banana flavor. I honestly didn't know what to expect since I've only had homemade before but it was excellent. I'm so happy to have such a high quality sweets shop so close to me.

Sweet Valentine Bakery is the sweetest! The owner and baker, Matthew Valentine is so nice and has a really cool story. His first inspiration into the culinary and baking world stems from a southern cookbook his grandmother gave him as a child. Sweet Valentine started in Matthews's garage in 2020, and became a brick and mortar a year ago. The bakery smells so good, upon entering, with nice and bright decor. I was greeted by Cathy from behind the counter and she was just sweetest too. Both Matthew and Cathy helped me choose their best-selling and favorites since it was my first time there. I was picking up an assortment of treats to bring into my office for an event. The banana pudding was phenomenal. The book it to me cake was amazing. The brown butter pound cake was delicious. All of the cookies were a huge hit. I was hoping to take some leftover treats home, but there was nothing left. My colleagues devoured it all! I'm definitely coming back to Sweet Valentine Bakery for all of the above plus the fresh baked cinnamon rolls that were calling me my name and to try their coffee too!

The owner was nice enough to let me buy some banana pudding before they were officially open for the day - he didn't have to, but he let me in anyway! Excellent service, will definitely be returning for more! And of course their banana pudding is very delicious.

Every time I come to this bakery, I always try to get something new. Today I decided to grab some banana pudding and let me tell y'all this banana pudding is fire as hell . This banana pudding didn't even make it to my house after I took one bite, I had to finish it in the car 10/10.

I stopped by for a brownie?! Ended up walking out with a Brookie, 3 cookies (walnut cc, churro and brown sugar) and banana pudding! I couldn't pick a favorite because everything was as delicious and home made. The staff is super nice and hand out complimentary cookies while you wait. I mean c'mon!? They know they way to your heart by doing that :) the place is clean, organized, and smells great.

You can tell this cinnamon roll is made with love!!! I met Mr. Valentine upon entering the establishment, I given a free sample of the customers favorite chocolate chip cookie. The chocolate chip cookie was soft, light and full of chocolate chips. Chocolate chip cookie 15/10. Next up the cinnamon roll- my first bite was out of this world!! The creation of cinnamon paired with a generous amount of spice and pure delectable vanilla icing. I had to stop for a minute and savory this unique- unlike any other- cinnamon roll!! Icantstopeatingthis! If the cinnamon roll and chocolate chip cookie tastes this good I know the other treats are just as scrumptiously pleasing!!!! I am going to have to come back and add to this review of the other treats that I ordered. Mr. Valentine you know the secret to making cinnamon rolls and cookies ---I can taste the freshness of the cinnamon roll!!! How did you make this icing??? I would like to put this on my pancakes in the morning!!

I visited Sweet Valentine Bakery for the first time today, and from the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a smile--and a cookie that made me believe the world would be a much better place if we all ate it. I had to be mindful of my jeans' top button, so instead of grabbing three dozen cookies, I decided to go with a cinnamon roll. And let me tell you, that cinnamon roll was like a warm hug from my granny on a weekend visit. The bakery was spotless, with plenty of seating, and smelled like heaven. Imagine Pepe Le Pew floating along, following that delicious scent trail! If you're looking for a bakery that makes you feel at home and tempts you with treats you won't regret, Sweet Valentine is the place to be.

Stopped by sweet Valentine Bakery yesterday and had a great experience. Was greeted by the workers and was given a free chocolate chip cookie to sample. There are tables and chairs to enjoy your treats. As I walked in it looked like the owners were getting interviewed for a podcast. I checked out the counter and saw all the delicious looking Bundt cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, pies, and banana cream pudding. I ended up with the brown butter chocolate chip cookies, banana pudding, and a cinnamon roll. Everything tasted great and satisfied my sweet tooth. Looking forward to coming back and trying the other cakes.

Heard of this bakery from my sister while I was visiting from out of town. We were welcomed as soon as we walked in and we were generously offered a full sized free sample of their cookies! I bought 1 big bowl of banana pudding and 2 small ones, also bought an assortment of cookies. Soooo delicious! Will be coming back when I visit again p.s. Banana pudding bowl may have some trouble with TSA if traveling.

Great decor inside with plenty of seating. We were greeted and offered a chocolate chip cookie. Many items to choose from including ice cream. The chocolate cookie was good. One cookie is $2 but you can get three for $5. The red velvet cinnamon roll had a strong, bitter cinnamon flavor; not a fan. Sock It To Me cake was moist. Peach cobbler was our favorite. I will return to try other items including the banana pudding

The cinnamon roll was soft and sweet with every bite. I took this to-go and devoured it in my car before I headed in to work. The cookie is always light and added a little extra sweetness to my day. I also tried their lychee lemonade which was so refreshing and had e yam amounts of flavor between the lychee and lemonade. The service here is always nice and they always greet you when you walk in. Ambiance is clean and items are organized and prices are decent. I can't wait to come back and try other items! Thank you Sweet Valentine!

The cookies are soooooo goood. They're to die for ‍ highly recommend going here. Also Alex was extremely kind and supportive in helping me make a box for my friend's birthday. 100% would come here again!

I got the butter brown chocolate chip cookies and toffee cookies. They were 2 for $4. For the regular cinnamon rolls, it was $7.75. The total came out $11.75. The textures of the cookies were perfect. Not too hard and not too soft. I was the first person in line. The cinnamon rolls were cold. The texture was dry and stale. The taste is similar to regular plain donuts, except it was with icing. I had to peel the cinnamon rolls with my fingers because my fork wasn't able to stab it through. For the icing, it was absolutely perfect. The cookies I will continue to repurchase. For the cinnamon rolls, I prefer Sweet Jill's Bakery in Long Beach. I will try the lemonade next.

This is a new place located where Da Vinci Ice Cream used to be (the same shopping complex as DD's Discounts on the Northwest corner of Albertoni and Avalon). There is a lot of parking all the time. I've never had an issue finding a spot. It appears that the official opening is this Saturday, January 20th, but I decided to check it out early. When I arrived, I was greeted by all three people working and as I was browsing the selection, I was offered a free Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie. WOW! It was fantastic - the chocolate morsels just melted in my mouth. Just because it was free, I didn't stop there. I got even more cookies (3 for $5) to-go, as well as an Individual Cinnamon Roll ($7.50) and some Nutella Banana Pudding ($6). I wanted to try the Cinnamon Roll since, from what I heard, it is one of their specialties. I liked it. I'd say it's the best of its kind in the area (it sure beats the Cinnamon Rolls from Panera Bread). The Banana Pudding was probably one of the best that I've ever had as its sweetness was not overpowered by overuse of sugar which some other places tend to do. Overall, this is a great spot! I'll definitely come back whenever I get a craving for some dessert. There's a lot more here that I want to try!

What a treat! I have never felt so welcome and had such an efficient experience as I did today at Sweet Valentine. Waiting was no problem with the service and surprises while in line. After finishing my pecan pie-- now I wish I got the entire pie. Such deliciousness! The cinnamon rolls are amazing and are almost always HOT. My favorite pies, cookies, sweets, and rolls. I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful bakery . As soon as I walked in, I fell in love with the decor and color schemes. The wonderful aromas coming from the display case were hypnotic. I was looking at the great designed merch and was greeted by the owner Matt Valentine hence the concept behind the bakery. He handed me a freshly baked buttery brown butter chocolate chip cookie and just tasting that alone will have you hooked! I walked over to the display of assortment of desserts from cookies to banana pudding to cinnamon rolls to Bundt cakes to pies to cobblers. I've found the one spot that has everything I could ever want all under one roof. They have a beautiful mural of their logo with two beautiful bright chairs and set up is definitely Instagram wall photo ready to snap some pics or just sit by the well light storefront and enjoy your desserts. Parking: ample parking available Customer Service was excellent from the owner to the staff . I love their saying: "Have a sweet day!" Black owned business ran with excellence. The grand opening is 1/20/2024. I went during their soft opening period and found them through an Instagram ad. Trust me you won't be disappointed and will become repeat customers. Just to think the pandemic was a horrific time for many but in the midst of it all, this beautiful business was birthed and they now have a storefront.

I have been following this bakery on social media for a couple of months and I finally went in today! We were greeted right away and offered a free chocolate chip cookie to each of us. The cookie was amazing but I really went in for their cinnamon rolls. I bought a 6 pack to take home and two cake slices. The store was super clean and super cute with some merch and cute decor on the walls. Service was fast and friendly. The prices were easy to find and reasonable. I will definitely be back to try other desserts and to support a small business. Keep up the good work and I love watching your videos on IG.

I heard about this new business through a fb community group and began following the owner's opening progression on IG and FB. I must say... Business: bright, modern & inviting Customer service: warm & welcoming Brown butter chocolate chip cookies: soft with a slight crunch around the edges as I like Cinnamon rolls: fresh and soft to the bite; I heated for ~25 seconds and let the yummy icing spread throughout. Pecan pie slice: (1st timer) pleasantly surprised; It was far from tasting overly sweet, being mushy on the inside and dry on top as I always thought this pie was. The chopped pecans were perfect and crust tasted slightly buttery to the bite. Peach cobbler: plenty of peaches and fresh crust; not overpowering with sugar or cinnamon You can sign up for the rewards program to earn points and buy paraphernalia for a full sweet experience. My son had circled all the way around the sun again and his favorite flavor is red velvet anything. I tore the internet apart looking for Unique. I finally found red velvet cinnamon rolls 5 miles from my house! First, Super cute store, 2nd, free brown sugar chocolate chip cookie for just showing up. I have to say this cinnamon roll was a tie with Cinnabon rolls. I have never heard of Coffee buttercream. I WAS intrigued, so I asked for that as the frosting instead of the traditional cream cheese. THEY WERE SO FUCKING GOOD! My kiddo was so surprised and delighted with his dessert. I also had a slice of sweet potato pie, that thing was the bomb, full of flavor. Recently found out about this place. So I went to check it out. I love that they're open kind of late for bakery. Most bakeries close around 4:00 to 6:00. P.m.. The banana pudding was a hit. I'm a very picky about banana pudding. It was made the traditional way with plenty of cookies and vanilla pudding. I am a banana pudding snob and usually don't eat anyone's other than my own. But this one passed the test. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very cute bakery

Yes, yes, and yesssss I finally made my car drive me here, I had been checking out & following this place on IG, I was not disappointed the banana pudding was just what I'd hope it would be x3 and this is just the beginning for me, the rep also gave me a sample of the chocolate chip cookie w/o the chip.. listennnn (got 6 of them lol), if you're reading/chk'g out this review, grab your wallet(the prices are right for the goodies) and get over there you will not regret your decision;‍‍‍‍‍‍ heading back soon for that slice of chocolate cake.

I saved $2.91 today! Let me explain I've visited Sweet Valentine Bakery now 4 times, so it's time for my review! The 1st for me this year and Sweet Valentine deserves the love. I'm so happy this bakery is in Carson! Let's begin with the customer service! It's immaculate! I swear each and every employee greeted me with a smile. The entire restaurant is clean and smells like heaven! This bakery is so clean I feel it's safe to eat delicious chocolate chip cookies right off the floor.... no not for real but you get what I'm saying lol. The banana pudding....listen, it's delicious! It reminds me of Alabama in my grandmother's house kitchen. The bananas are fresh and the pudding is fluffy! It's my favorite I think, lol because the Sock it to Me cake warms my soul. Listen, I bought it and warmed it up for about 12 to 15 seconds and OMG it was a full backyard party in my mouth! It was super delicious and had just the right amount of nuts I love! Now for the Maple Pound Cake! I think Mr. Valentine heard my soul and made this cake just for me! It's just the right amount of sweetness and moisture, and being a country girl, the eggs and butter were tasted in every bite. If you have vanilla ice cream, use it and you're welcome! So, the sweet potato pie....who doesn't love Sweet potato pie?? This was really good. For me, it wasn't overly sweet and I love I didn't come across any strings from the sweet potato. It was pretty perfect. Lastly, I finally had the Cinnamon Rollwhich I think is their creme Dela cream of all the yummy cakes and cookies! I'm actually eating a Cinnamon Roll now while writing this review and it's fantastic! I warmed it for about 30 seconds and it was perfect for me! The cinnamon wasn't overpowering and the glazed is to die for. It tastes like it was made from scratch! Oh! Before I forget PLEASE GET A COFFEE because their coffee is DELICIOUSSSS! I saved $2.91 because you have to sign up for the rewards! It's worth it SO DO IT!!

Every Friday, I take my daughter for the treat of her choice. She told me this morning she wanted cake. I was scrolling IG and this bakery's video came up on my timeline. Normally, I see delicious food and it'll be in Miami or New York, but this was right up the street from my house, of course I'm going to go see what's up. We walked in and it was very clean. Everyone from the team to the customers were so nice and up for conversation. It was very nice. We also all were greeted with a complimentary brown butter chocolate chip cookie that was SO good. Robin went over the menu items with us and she was such a joy to meet. My little family and I picked out goodies and put them on these cute trays to hold on to while we shopped. It's a very cozy and quaint location. The prices were very good. $5 for a cake slice. $2 for a cookie and whole cake or bundle deals are available. They also have brownie bites and cinnamon rolls that I will definitely be returning for. Everything we got was delicious. The homemade love you get from grandmas house is in every bite of their menu. I really loved the maple brown butter cake and the toffee pecan cookies, but everything was delicious. I took a few promotional cards for friends. I will definitely continue to visit this bakery. I already know I'll be a regular.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a hello and a fresh chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was warm and yummy. I always wanted to try the cinnamon roll. They also had blueberry cinnamon roll. I should have stuck with the cinnamon roll instead of the blueberry cinnamon roll. The blueberry flavor took over the taste of the cinnamon roll. It was still good but I was there to taste the cinnamon roll. Next time I will get the cinnamon roll. Service was awesome and the interior of the store was kept clean.

SENSORY OVERLOAD!!! My wife and I walked in and the sweet aroma of the fresh cakes and pastries knocked us off of our feet! We were greeted by friendly staff with a freshly baked cookie all while enjoying upbeat music and modern decor. We ordered a chocolate bundt cake for my wife's birthday and it did not disappoint. The cake was moist, delicious and not overly sweet. We will definitely patronize SVB again. THANKS!

I stopped by this new bakery today and was glad I did! I met the owner and his brother, nice guys. Really cute place. I purchased cookies, cinnamon roll and banana pudding. I shared with my parents and we enjoyed it all! I will be back to try some of the cake slices and other cookie flavors as they had about 4 on display.

I find the business on Google. It was rated 4.8 out of 5 stars. I was greeted immediately upon entering the business and offered a cookie to sample. The staff was friendly and patient while answering my questions about the desert selection. I told Mr. Valentine, what I was looking for he directed to the Brown Butter Vanilla Pound Cake. As a courtesy because it was my first time, he offered me a slice to sample, and I bought a whole pound cake. The establishment was well decorated, creating a warm and cozy feel.

Honestly love this bakery, yes the prices are alittle high but I mean what prices aren't high now a days? Their banana pudding was nice and creamy. I tried the sweet potato pie as well and honestly wasn't to fond of it, it had like a ginger taste to it (best that I can explain it) but my daughter and my boyfriend loved all their cookies. Their customer service is super nice & helpful. Definitely will come back if I'm craving something sweet!

First and Foremost.... WOW to all of the things. The moment I walked in I was greeted with a still warm chocolate chip cookie. I've had Sweet Valentine Bakery make Bundt Cakes and cookies for birthday parties and everyone has raved about how moist the cake was (and said it was better than a Nothing Bundt Cake from the cake itself to the frosting as well) and that the cookies were next level. I just dropped into THEIR BRAND NEW LOCATION OFF THE 91 and now I know I'm in trouble because there are now display cases filled with cakes, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and that's not even counting the grab and go fridge filled with individual slices of cake that I can eat before I get home and no one would ever know! Booyah. Trust me that all of these things are incredible. You'll see it. You'll smell it. You'll know. But I wanted to shine a spotlight on something I might not have ever tried but threw it in the bag as a last minute let's see how this is type of treat. The Banana Pudding with Nilla Wafers and Nutella. WHOA Not once in my life have I looked for or ordered banana pudding and this knocked my socks right off. And my wife's too (her socks were cuter). So if you're anything like me then live on the edge and try something new and you'll be more than pleasantly surprised. I already have enough things I want from the bakery on the regular and now this Trojan horse snuck in and went right to the top of the list as nowhere else is making banana pudding let alone a showstopper of a dessert like this one is.

Hello, I love supporting this business, the sweets are tasty, however some of the staff members could use a class in decorum. It's hard to order when a young person has there back to you while talking. I encourage everyone nearby to try and patronize Sweet Valentine's, if you can tolerate rudeness.

Service is good and bakery items are great! We had sugar cookies and banana pudding. Really good!

For starters when you walk in to this beautiful space, you are instantly greeted with a warm cookie fresh out the oven. The staff here is amazing (Hi Robin) The owner is amazing! Now let's get to the treats!! Everything this man makes tastes like home! I had the peach cobbler, churro cookies, red velvet cake, sweet potato pie which my husband said was the best he ever had! We also had their cinnamon rolls and it didn't disappoint! Gooey and sweet with that frosting that had us licking our fingers! And then my absolute favorite was their maple brown butter cake! Just saying that makes me smile! It was delicious! I highly recommend this place!!

Sweets galore! Really enjoy the wide variety of treats they have. Big fan of the cookies and various cake slices! Servers for the most part are also very friendly and helpful. Great new addition!

Best chocolate chip cookies when they come straight out of the oven. Cinnamon rolls are great too. Not too sweet and tastes fresher.
