Sweetah's Gluten Free Bake Shop

I had a very special cake request for my daughter’s bridal shower - not only did they need to be gluten free, but also Vegan AND we wanted them orange flavored and heart shaped. I communicated with Elisa thru email and text to get them just right and she delivered fabulously and the cakes were a great hit! At the shower!! She did a beautiful job decorating them, even adding little pearls and shimmer, they were exactly what we wanted, and tasted delicious with great orange flavor!! She also made a carat birthday cake which was wonderful too! We normally order from Happy Mixer but they only offer vanilla and chocolate for vegan so we were happy to have Sweetahs who could give us variety. And the cakes were huge with way more servings in each than expected! We'll be getting our cakes from Sweetahs from now on! Thank you so much Elisa!!

I usually hate gluten free baked products but because of my autoimmune disorder I have to get my taste buds accustomed. This little shop does quite a fantastic job on the gluten free products especially the coffee cake so every year I come visit my mom for the holidays I always order it. this year I ordered it and it was so delicious then I found out a new owner just took over and I am just beyond words - the quality is even better than before! everyone at my holiday party jumped on it and gave me such compliments I had to go back the next day and order it again it was that good!

Sweetahs is one of my favorite gluten free bakeries cuz they have a wide assortment of options including gf hallah bread and cream puffs. They have a good balance of sweetness and the people are very nice. Definitely going back! ❤️

Thank you to the new owner of Sweetahs, Elisa, for a fabulous experience! We had the most beautiful and delicious two tiered wedding cake for our wedding this weekend. It was a huge hit and had guests asking for a second piece! Thank you thank you, cannot recommend enough!

I love Sweetah’s! I’ve been coming for over 5 years now, and it’s a staple in the neighborhood! Under new ownership, the recipes are the same and still taste amazing. They’ve been creating new treats, too. The atmosphere is always welcoming and warm. I love being able to request baked goods through Instagram and then going to get them the next day. Without a doubt, you need to try the crumb cake and marbled pumpkin loaf!!!! Love this little shop!

Elisa at Sweetahs is a true artist when it comes to gluten-free baking! I’ve tried her cannolis, cupcakes, and tiramisu, etc. and they are absolutely incredible. The cannolis are perfectly crisp with creamy, rich fillings, the cupcakes are moist and packed with flavor, and the tiramisu is a dreamy, decadent delight. Every bite feels like a treat from a gourmet bakery, and you’d never guess they’re gluten-free. Her creations are not only delicious but crafted with so much care and attention to detail. Elisa also made gluten-free naan, and it was the softest, most flavorful naan I’ve ever had. My family, who eats gluten regularly, couldn’t believe how amazing it was and even said her breads and desserts taste better than the gluten-filled versions! It’s clear Elisa puts her heart into her work, and I’m so excited to try more of her desserts. Whether you’re gluten-free or not, Sweetahs is an absolute must-try!

I have celiac disease and was in the area for a trip. My sister and I stumbled upon Sweetahs and were excited seeing all these great reviews. I unfortunately don’t understand the hype of the bakery. It was very plain inside with not much to offer. We got a variety of some items. We grabbed vanilla and chocolate donuts (I was most excited for these so we got two of each), a muffin, some cupcakes, sprinkle cookies, and chocolate mousse. The donuts were dry and flavorless as were the cookies. The muffin was hard and the chocolate mousse wasn’t sweet or tasty. We spent just under $50 and threw everything out. I unfortunately wouldn’t go there again if I were in the area. The girl at the counter was very sweet and helpful with our questions we had. I wouldn’t come here again but I’m just hoping it was a bad day for the bakery and it’s not always like this

This shop is located in Doylestown, Pa. Doylestown is a very nice, quaint town, where you can easily spend the day shopping and dining in some nice restaurants. This bakery does have a parking lot for one car which my girlfriend and I were able to snag before heading in. Now on to the food! Match Cupcakes were terrific, the carrot cake cupcakes I believe they are known for, and they were very good as well if you are a fan of carrot cake of course. Lastly, we tried the lemon cupcakes that comes with lemon creme in them. The lemon cupcake was probably my least favorite, but I love that they have a large variety of cupcake to choose from. As we were being rung up at the counter, I saw they had GF naan bread, we purchased two slices of the Naan and are very happy that we can now indulge eating them next time we order in some Indian food. The store itself is very spacious, and I believe they serve coffee as well. Highly recommend for your Gluten Free needs and wants : ) As always people SYOY!!!

Sweetens is my new spot for gluten free bakery. I order the chocolate bunt cake that was out of this world. Since my son became celiac he misses out on his favorite. I got him chocolate Oreo cookie donut that was really delicious coffee cake is good as well the service was excellent and joking around that made a great experience. Ambiance is like a cozy cafe.

I've been going to Sweetah's for the last 5+ years. it has always been a welcoming place for a gluten-free foodie. Quality baked goods in an adorable little shop! loved Bev and Frank, but as they've retired, the new management and ownership is amazing! ALL the same recipes and love. Huge fan...10/10 recommend !

Honestly I was a bit worried at first. I'm not from the area and around my house I have a tried and tested bakery for birthday cakes but my friend moved to the Doylestown area and I wanted to get her a cake for her birthday. I originally found this place cause of good reviews online and from the moment I contacted them they were amazing with working with me on preparing the cake and organizing the design and date of pickup of it, of course this place also had limits with design but they also tried to work with me as best they could. The pickup went smoothly and the store is beautiful and warm and smells of baked goods (which is extra nice during winter). Finally, THE CAKE, it was divine and all who had it raved about it, I will easily come here again next year for another cake!

Great Bakery for all who need gluten free goodies. Their Apple cider doughnuts are amazing. They also have some vegan items. Everything I have gotten here has been amazing. My husband who is not gluten free has unfortunately enjoyed the items I have purchased. So No keeping it all for me. The service is great and the owner is very friendly and accommodating. They do special orders to accommodate what ever you need. So if you need gluten free , vegan or just want some amazing baked goods stop by and check Sweetahs out. I totally recommend them.

Excellent bakery! Each time I've ordered a cake it's been exactly what I've wanted. You would never know it was gluten free or vegan. Always moist and delicious!

Sweetah's is dangerously good for a gluten free, vegan gal like myself. And within walking distance of my home. The vegan gluten free cookies are my absolute favorite desserts. The soft pretzels are also amazing - I almost don't want to share that since they seemingly sell so fast as it is. And I love the vegan gluten free cupcakes - so delicious! I stock up once a week, and always wonder if I got too much, but by the end of the week everything is gone.

These cupcakes are freaking delicious!! My husband and I finally got around to trying them out about 2 weeks ago. The "gluten free" signage scared my husband away at first, haha, since the few gluten-free desserts he's tried in his life have tended to underwhelm. I've had some good ones & some very good vegan chocolate cakes, but generally don't go out of my way for them--neither of us have any need to be gluten-free, so we figure, why bother? I'm a pastry and dessert fiend, though, so it was just a matter of time before I gave this place at least a try. When I finally brought home a couple of Sweetah's chocolate cupcakes with chocolate buttercream frosting, we each tried one and... honestly, it was hardcore love at first bite! Since then, we've been hooked. Vegan, gluten-free--whatever the label, all we've tasted from this place is consistently sweet, phenomenal baked treats that give even the pretty good, non-vegan, non-gluten-free ones around town a run for their money. Simple fact: These are the best I've had in the area! The location itself is also super cute, and the coffee and other baked goods are fantastic. It's a very comfy, cozy, inviting meet-up spot--and it actually has parking! Downtown! Woohoo! Can't recommend this place enough. So so good!!

bought a cupcake at basil bandwagon, hands down the best gluten free / vegan cake i have ever had, and i lived in LA / NYC with tons of options! i can't wait to get cake and will drive 45 min to get it!

My husband & I accidentally stumbled upon this little gem and we are so happy that we did! Since becoming allergic to gluten almost two years ago, my sweet tooth has been in search of a good cookie. My search is over! Not only are the cookies amazing but the cupcakes are also so full of flavor & moist and beautiful. The best surprise of all was the delicious scone that I also purchased . It was unbelievably perfect. Hard to believe the scone was GF because it was so delicious. I am looking forward to once again having tea & scones with my friends!

Sweetah's made a delicious and gorgeous-looking cake for my kid's graduation. Strongly recommend this bakery for anyone who enjoys a tasty GF treat and appreciates outstanding service.

Such a great little bake shop with delicious options for anyone who's gluten free! After grabbing lunch across the street at Lovebird, we stopped in to take a look at what they had on offer. It's a small space, but there's plenty in the baking case to choose from. To start, I got a frosted brownie and my wife got a cupcake. We tried each others' choices, and the cupcake tasted fine, but I really enjoyed the brownie! We enjoyed our treats so much that we decided to buy a few things to go - an apple cider donut, a peanut butter chocolate bar, and another frosted brownie! We ate these in the following week, and while they did get a little drier as the week went on, everything still tasted great! We'll be back anytime we're in the area!

We go out of our way when we are in the Doylestown to visit Sweetah's. Everything we have tried there has been excellent. We especially love the scones, but the selection of cupcakes, lemon bars, coffee cakes, etc. are always equally tempting. Her new location on Clinton Street is adorable. Plenty of light and widows to sit at - would be a great place to grab a coffee and a bite with a friend or alone with a good book.

I really liked the mini cupcakes that I brought to a birthday party. The vanilla with vanilla icing cupcakes had great flavor and the cake was moist.

I can't say enough about this bakery and how they saved the day! When a cake I had ordered from another vendor got delayed in shipment without warning, I was stuck not having a cake for a virtual birthday date with my favorite cousin. As I don't even live in the same state, and it was already 1pm on the day I needed a cake, I wasn't feeling hopeful. However, I saw Sweetah's beautiful cakes on Yelp and thought I would give them a call just on the off chance they would be able to help. They were AMAZING! They had a freshly baked, beautiful cake DELIVERED to my cousin's house just a couple hours later! The cake really did look gorgeous and it got rave reviews from my cousin and her family! We aren't even gluten-free so I asked my cousin if it "tasted gluten-free," and she said it tasted SUPER DELICIOUS, not like it was missing gluten or anything else!! I'm just jealous I wasn't there to eat it, too! THANK YOU SO, SO MUCH, SWEETAH'S!! A birthday celebration is just not complete without cake!!

Just placed my second order with Sweetah's. The first was for a birthday party that included several people with Celiac and several without. This was hands down, the moistest, best-tasting gluten free cake we had ever had. it was the first time I just ordered a gluten-free cake for everyone and you honestly couldn't tell it was gluten free--it was loved by all. Looking forward to picking up my second Sweetah's cake soon for another family birthday. I've now become the designated "GF cake bringer" to all of our family functions.

My experience with Sweetah's was absolutely wonderful. I was out of town and needed a birthday cake for someone in the area. I called and asked if Sweetah's could make a special cake with a written message on top, and if they might be willing to drive it to the house as a surprise birthday gift. The owner helped me pick out a flavor and look, and also card from a local artist (by taking the time to describe them to me over the phone). Sweetah's really went the extra mile to accommodate my needs, and the birthday cake delivery was, indeed, a wonderful surprise. Though I wasn't around to try the cake, the reviews from those who did were fabulous. Highly recommended!

Strongly recommend this place for the spectrum disorders with sensitive tummies of gluten and milk allergies. There are a lot of delectable options for those who are vegan and gluten free! You can cupcakes, bun cakes, etc. It's all allergy friendly! The chocolate raspberry cupcakes, are personally my favorite!

We were in the area and wanted something sweet. Passed this little bakery and was blown away! We are not gf, but everything looked delicious so we figured we'd try it out. We got a donut, cupcake, and a muffin to try and everything was delicious!! The man behind the case was extremely friendly and helpful, as I have a nut allergy and know that nut flours are frequently used in gf baked items. He pointed out everything that was safe to eat, and was so pleasant. Will definitely be coming here again, and purchasing items not only for myself but my gf family and friends as well!

Sweetah's is a welcome oasis for people who are gluten free with a sweet tooth! We stopped in after a lunch at Lovebird hankering to replenish some calories after our bike ride. He had the frosted brownie, while I went for the carrot cake cupcake. I really enjoyed the cupcake, though if I had to say anything, the frosting was a tad too sweet. The cake itself was great and very moist. The brownie was a stunner! I don't normally care for frosting on brownies, but this worked really well! Super luscious and decadent and I have strong doubts that anyone would be able to guess it was gluten free. We finished up our goodies and scoped out a few options to take home. We selected the chocolate peanut bar, another brownie, and an apple cider donut. The chocolate peanut bar was very good - flavors of a Reese's, but with more crunch from gluten free graham cracker crumbs and dairy free as well! If we're in the area, we'll be sure to stop by again!

Today's date, August 18th, happens to be my favorite day of the year. The majority of the reason being directly associated with the fact that it's also my favorite book character's birthday. Percy Jackson-said book character- loves blue food. And to celebrate, most years I wear my Camp Half-blood shirt and make blue cake. However, I was not able to as I was overwhelmed with work. So my little sister took it into her own hands. Going out of her way to call numerous bakeries for days. But none were able to provide blue cupcakes with piping either for lack of material, not having staff and/or timing. But when coming across this particular bake shop she found immediately that they could squeeze her selfless request in. She described to me how even after closing a thoughtful staff member had held out longer for her even when traffic delayed her arrival. The cupcakes were beautiful and I have never known a gluten-free cupcake to be so positively scrumptious! I send a very large thank you to them, and I will definitely be returning in the future.

I live in Doylestown and didn't know that this bakery was around until I needed GF cupcakes for a dinner party for a few friends that have celiacs. I found this bakery on Facebook and placed an order 5 days ahead of time to pick up a dozen mini GF mocha cupcakes. They were beautifully decorated and tasted delicious! Will be ordering again!

Amazing local find....hands down the best gf desserts we've had yet. Highly recommend cream puffs, cupcakes, whoppie pies. Cannot wait to try more goodies on our next visit.

OH MY GOODNESS!! THIS PLACE IS FREAKING AMAZING!!!!!!! Wanted to make a custom cake to surprise my sis on Percy Jackson's birthday last minute, and NOBODY I called could get it done by the afternoon! EXCEPT THESE GUYS!!!! The icing and the cake was SOOOOO GOOOOODD, their handing writing is AMAZING, and they COMPLETELY excelled my expectations! They had it done right on time and I could bring it home to a bunch of smiling faces! They truly are my Heroes Of Olympus......ok that didn't really make sense, but all the fangirls of Percy Jackson know what I'm saying!! These guys are amazing; had an amazing evening because of them. THANKS GUYS!
