My family takes trips to Destin 2-3 times a year and we were excited that there was finally a place for bubble tea. We were skeptical at first because we were unsure of the quality since it's in a low Asian populated area. We still wanted to satisfy our bubble tea addiction so we stopped by.
There were two employees there, a woman taking our order and a man who stood in the back as we ordered. We asked about cheese foam as we've never heard of it and she couldn't explain what it was. We ordered 13 drinks but somehow ended up with 14 drinks on our receipt and took them 50 minutes to make between the two.
They got a drink order wrong but couldn't admit to fault. I showed the lady my receipt and she said it was wrong because her receipt showed something different. I asked her to just remake it but she just said she would just add lychee jelly and that would correct the error but it didn't. 3 minutes of back and forth with her, I gave in and said okay because this lady did not understand, did not want to admit she made a mistake and did not make it right.
Aside from the bad customer service from this lady, the drinks were subpar. Most of the drinks tasted watered down, even the drinks with no ice! Here's what we ordered:
Black milk tea (probably the best thing we ordered)
Mango smoothie (more like a slushee)
Strawberry banana smoothie (terrible!)
Black oolong tea with cheese foam (a mistake!!)
Strawberry green tea slush (halfway full of pulp)
Orange green tea slush (orange juice with a hint of tea)
Green milk tea (not enough milk)
Super fruit tea (bit into an orange seed, yikes!)
Oolong milk tea (terrible)
Tiramisu foam oolong team (super thick and hard to drink!)
Bathroom was clean, probably because no one comes here . I don't think this place will last long
If the product is bad, the customer service could save it but when the customer service is bad too, good luck SWEETEA!
