Amazing first experience at Sweet Tea Boba recommended by our friend Gabby. The owners are so nice and the drinks were priced great! They even offer a local discount. They have such fun unique asian candies and treats too. Cute Hello Kitty novelties as well! My kids and I are definitely their newest regulars.

Really yummy place! We tried a few different boba places in Destin and they were not anywhere near as good as this place. Friendly atmosphere. We have tried the acia bowls and boba and everything we have tried have been great! The workers were new each time we went but our order was usually made right 95% of the time we stopped in. They missed some fruit on one order But nothing to not come again, they were great!

Amazing experience! The only one I’ve found with the tropical paradise boba! I usually get a vanilla taro smoothie from one back home but this one is by far the best one I’ve EVER had! Amazing atmosphere, service, and products!!! Give her a try you won’t be disappointed! Went back a second time before we left town and it was even better! Her husband was there and was really awesome to talk to! I love this place and don’t think anyone will be disappointed when you come here. She can help you to find something you like even if you don’t know what to get. Will definitely be back!!!

We come here every time we go to Destin. The owners are great and make sure you like your boboa you get especially if you've not had a flavor before.

Fantastic experience and the best boba fix we have found in panhandle. Manager on hand was so welcoming, guided the menu and gave great recommendations! We had a delicious lychee jasmine tea and a mocha milk tea with tiramisu foam - both were AMAZING!

I wish I could give zero star. This place is totally not worth it. The prices are outrageous. They even charge an extra dollar for no ice. The small sugar cone didn’t have anything on top it was half empty . One scoop costs $4.50. And their attitude was so bad.

Traveled from Dallas, TX where there are a BUNCH of boba places, and this place fits right in! The owner and staff are super friendly and efficient. My dad even noticed the little detail on his açaí bowl that the fruits were laid out nicely on top, when even other places we’ve gone to (Hawaii, California, etc) workers would just dump the fruits, stacked on top of each other. This place is wonderful!

The Mango Reverie + Coconut Jelly was really nice. Refreshing on a hot day & satisfying for sweet cravings. The Oolong Tea with Tiramisu was also good. However, the Strawberry Smoothie wasn't so great cause the ice chunks weren't smooth. Still, it's a great boba place with great customer service! The guy with the beard, glasses, and a cap was inviting and patient, so shoutout to him!

Sweetea Boba Bar is the MOST AUTHENTIC BOBA IN DESTIN AND SURROUNDING AREA! Sweetea is a shop that sells boba/bubble tea, acai bowls, and ice cream. As a Korean-American and a once small-business cofounder of a boba cart in Atlanta, I can confidently say that this place is legit and the best in town. My fellow boba lovers, this is your sign to come! Their teas are brewed fresh and they don't use fake powders/ingredients! It's all real! YAY! Their tapioca is fantastic and delicious. Not too chewy and not too soft, just right! Plus, Their drink presentations are aesthetically pleasing. I recommend their roasted oolong with sea salt foam and their assam black milk tea. They changed ownership in 2023 and the service is amazing! The new owners and the associates are all so kind and personable. The shop itself is fairly sized! It has limited seating area (not for more than 12 people at most) and limited parking. Be careful not to park in the backs where some spots are resident parking only (learned from experience lol). They have two entrance doors in the front and back. Very cute spot! I drive an hour for it bcs yes, boba is in my blood LOL

I think this is one of the few places that hits the spot when I'm in the mood for milk tea. The service was great, I got lucky because a group had just left so it was not crazy busy. It's really pretty inside and there are games you can play with if you plan to chill at the shop with your friends. If this place was bigger, I would totally come here to do homework and study if I was back in school again. I am definitely coming back again.

@sweetea_boba_bar Girls and I came in today and it's been a while! The boba teas were 100% and we enjoyed tasting a few popping bobas! The owners were really nice. The recipe fir the Thai iced tea was awesome. My husband normally doesn't like Thai ice tea but he says he woukd actually get this ne t time! It's a MUST when down here in Destin.

The ambiance inside the store is cute, although it's right next to the alien contact center. The boba milk tea is decent. A little over sweetened, and the bobas were over cooked. The staff was friendly.

Visiting Destin and looking for a Taro boba tea fix there weren't many to choose from. We found this place on Yelp and gave it go. GLAD WE DID! Awesome Taro milk tea, Awesome coffee milk tea with coffee jelly! The best part was the service. Outstanding and friendly, this will be our go-to spot when we visit from now on! Nice place in our vacation. We have a place in Memphis as the benchmark so it's kind of hard for other restaurants to compete. Large size, a bit overly priced for our liking. Can't say 100% we'd return on our next visit but a positive experience. You can enter the building from two sides (front/back) of the building. A cute little sitting area if you want to chill and drink your beverage.

Drinks were good but the service was top tier! The guy at the cashier was so approachable and friendly. I would definitely come back here

I'm a Destin local and this place is it! Very delicious, great service (very sweet people and good suggestions), a really wide variety of options. Prices were very reasonable imo, definitely worth it! I will definitely be going back very soon.

We cross the bridge to do them and they're usually pretty good. Little honey likes them so that's enough for me, though there's usually something awkward with the hospitality among other small misgivings but for all of them, the tea's are pretty good. They do have a locals "discount" which is nice, thanks!

We were walking around waiting on our dolphin cruise and decided to stop in for a drink and some AC. The service was fantastic! We were able to try the popping pearl flavors which were very tasty. She also let us try her Assam Black Tea and other black teas to decide which one we liked. I got the Pina Colada Milk Tea with Mango popping pearls. It was amazing! My sons got Mango Milk tea with tapioca and Assam Black Tea with tapioca. They were all really delicious. The best bubble teas I have had anywhere! The shop was very cozy and made you want to relax and enjoy the flavors and smells.

Friendly service and nice ambiance at this shop. The brown sugar boba we ordered was so good. Best boba I had in Florida. It was served in the cutest bear cup. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Destin. Parking can be tricky. It's in the back of the shop. When you see the "Welcome to Destin" sign, the entrance will be right after the sign "Destin Fishing Fleet, Brotula". It will be worth the visit!

After reading all the great reviews and being in town at Destin, I definitely have to try out the local Boba tea spot in Destin. Lol The traffic in Destin is just nuts. Depending on which way your coming from, the plaza is super small and you may miss it if your not careful. There is parking behind the plaza and also in the side. There are 2 entrances to Sweet Tea. One from the main road and the other one is behind the plaza. There is also outdoor seating if you want to sit down somewhere. There as no temperature checks but they didn't require you to wear a mask upon entering. The employee was wearing a mask as well. There were so many different variety of fruit and bubble tea here. I finally chose the Straw green tea slushy with Crystal boba and popping Lychee boba. My better had Roasted Olong Milk with Crystal boba. I really enjoyed my drink. It was super tasty. I should of ordered two! Lol The cups were super sturdy and the lids stayed in place like the old Pearl Tea cups in Atlanta. The female employee here honored my 10% Yelp check in discount which was awesome! I definitely will be back again before I leave town to try out a different flavor. I highly recommend this place if your looking for some Asian fruit/boba tea in the Destin/Fort Walton Area. I just wish this place closed later than 8:00pm. That's just way earlier!!! :(

Everybody does Boba Tea nowadays & yes I am indiscriminate about where I spend my money on these sugary drinks, but I chose Sweetea over some others in the area because I saw the tiramisu milk tea & was intrigued. It IS as good as it sounds & the only downfall is you don't get much in the standard size due to having too much ice. Tea was very good.

On vacation in Destin, stumbled upon this place, and wow I'm so glad! If you like tea with a stronger taste, get the Assam Black Milk Tea with Tiramisu, zero sweetness. You can taste the freshness of the tea since they brew it every morning. The soft chewy boba has a perfect texture. You won't regret it.

I love taro bubble tea and there's was just right with the sweetness. My husband enjoyed his green tea with fresh squeezed orange juice. A nice little treat and there was a parking lot so it was easy to get in and out.

The employees where great and very kind. They welcomed us in and let me know the difference between the flavors. I got the black tea ice blended. I would not recommend this flavor. Very bitter.

Order: oolong milk tea with lychee jelly I always order the same bubble tea; it's either taro milk tea, Thai tea or oolong. I don't think they differ in taste from the rest of the tea places I've tried. Only difference is price. It was a little steep for a small 8 oz drink; almost $6. Other places charge about $4. Maybe smaller towns have different supply and demand.

Great drinks!! Hit the spot when we were looking for a boba fix! My husband got the pomegranate tea with boba and it was great! Very flavorful and chewy boba pearls!

I love me some milk tea with Boba. I was visiting my sister and she suggested this cute place. They have numerous drink selections (although disappointingly many of their flavors do not mix with milk). They say non-dairy creamer is used but it is actually real cream. (Definitely tasty). My sister and I both got almond milk tea and it was a deliciously creamy and perfectly sweet experience. My husband got a caramel macchiato and thought it was delicious as well. We were able to order outside and have our drinks brought to us there as well which was nice.

Friendly staff and helpful. Place is small but cute and modern, good music. I will say that we had trouble finding parking but it seems it's somewhere behind the store. Everything looks clean and boba was good!

I was searching for a boba spot while in Destin and found this place. I got the milk tea with boba (oat milk) and it was seriously the best boba drink I've ever had. I've been craving it ever since and will be going back soon to get it again. They had ice cream and a lot of other options. It was really cute in there and they had a small seating area where we waited for our drinks. The woman working there was so sweet and patient as we figured out what drinks to order. I live in fort walton but this is worth the drive.

Drinks = Delicious! There are various options for dairy lovers and lactose-free needs. It comes with non-dairy creamer but your other options are: Whole milk, almond, soy, and coconut. You can also request a specific sweetness level (I prefer/need to request 50% or less these days, ha.) Yes, they have boba and jellies. (I hope they'll have aiyu jelly some day! Hint, hint. :D) Oh and if anyone cares, like my s.o. does - they carry various Blue Bell ice cream flavors. Including the highly-coveted cotton candy and his ultimate favorite that we couldn't find anywhere else but here last year - banana pudding flavor! They also have acai bowls and coffee (a limited but legit coffee drinks). Prices = Moderate. I tried their Brown Sugar Latte and Super Fruit Tea, while he had the Black Milk Tea. Service = Friendly. It's worth the drive for this milk tea.

Everytime I come to this place it's never busy!! I love their boba!! I have tried many other places around this area and every single time the Boba is either too hard or way too mushy. This place has 100% the best boba in the area, it's never too hard or too mushy. We ordered: Avocado smoothie with coconut milk/boba & Thai tea w/boba They have a good variety of smoothies, bowls & ice cream. Even though we have stuck to our regular order, I am giving a 5 stars strictly because our order & boba are ALWAYS made to our liking!!

I really enjoyed the tiramisu puff cream drink. Very unique and delicious. I didn't enjoy my green tea with cheese foam topping at all. The green tea was lackluster and the cheese topping was alil sour!! Good cream topping should be sweet and not sour tasting! I have no idea why this drink was listed on the most popular...according to their list.

The best boba I've tasted in florida!! After having a bad experience with another place nearby, I decided to try somewhere else and Sweetea Boba Bar was the closest. I told them about my experience and they made sure I was satisfied with my drink and gave the best customer service. I got the brown sugar milk tea and its amazingggg. If you are visiting Destin and want boba, this is the place to go !!

I never thought I'd find a boba shop in Destin, but my friends and I were so excited to go! Their boba is pretty good, and the drink I ordered was really unique and yummy. The cream on top was delicious, and I kept eating spoonfuls of it. I wish they didn't run out of boba because I wanted to try it, but this is a great option for boba.

Had a great experience here at Sweetea! Zoe was so sweet and so helpful when explaining the menu and how to order. The drinks my friend and I received were both absolutely fantastic and has bumped this place to one of my favorite places to get boba. Additionally, there were so many options of boba flavors and so many other menu items to choose from. Would definitely recommend Sweetea to others. My drink was a Lavander Taro smoothie with Tapioca.

I was craving ice cream and happened upon this place via Yelp. So, off we went! After finding it and driving around looking for the parking lot we arrived at our destination. Somehow I changed my mind to getting a boba, and the nice lady working recommended a mango green tea smoothie. It was okay, but far from boba I'm used to. Nothing was wrong with it per se, just there's better boba out in there. We also ordered a kiwi strawberry black tea boba which, was also okay, but had weird seeds at the bottom which wasn't a pleasant surprise. Son got a triple chocolate scoop, and it was delicious... made by Blue Bell so you know it's legitimate.

Recently had the opportunity to stop by this surprisingly quaint little shop for something cold and sweet. I went a bit overboard, and daring...I choose the Mango Reverie Smoothie. Man, I got to tell you, I was glad the kids weren't along, or I would have had to share, and never gotten the drink back. Not too sweet, in fact perfect for my tastes. The place was clean and had an uplifting vibe to it. My servers (owners?): Mike and Jessica, are just the sweetest. If you are out and about (or just got off a charter) needing a little something-something give this place a try, you'll be glad you did.

They have the best tiramisu milk tea EVER! We ordered the roasted oolong tiramisu milk tea, Its fresh (you can tell by the warm tapioca bubble), the tiramisu topping is not too sweet and the foam is PERFECT! The milk and the oolong tea had the best balance and it taste SUPERB! Love the server's passion and kindness, shes so sweet. Definitely recommend to try everything here. Hope they could keep up the good work

Nice staff, great service, and delicious bowl! They sell a variety of snacks that are hard to find. I got a wonderful açaí bowl with a complimentary water! The staff were so kind and friendly. Very cute place and will for sure return if back in the area.

Service is the reason it's three stars and not two. I'm a boba fanatic, and this place was not giving. The staff was really friendly but the menu was limited compared to boba places in Louisville or ATL. The tiramisu on top of the black milk tea was good, the black milk tea was ok. You can get a 10% discount if you're a local or military though.

We stopped at this boba bar on a whim to escape the Florida heat. What we discovered was one of the best boba my family has ever had and excellent service, to boot! We loved it so much, we got more to go! Their ice cream was also top notch. Only disappointment was that we didn't have room to try their acai bowls, but I'm sure they're excellent as well.

When we are in the Destin area, we usually stop here for bubble tea. The drinks we have tried have been great so far and so are their service and atmosphere. There was only one employee working when we went shortly before closing, so it did take time for her to complete our drinks, açaí bowl, and ice cream order. She was very pleasant and we enjoyed her service.

A great supply of all different types of tea. They also had a selection of ice cream. When we were there, they had two employees who were very knowledgeable of their products.

My family takes trips to Destin 2-3 times a year and we were excited that there was finally a place for bubble tea. We were skeptical at first because we were unsure of the quality since it's in a low Asian populated area. We still wanted to satisfy our bubble tea addiction so we stopped by. There were two employees there, a woman taking our order and a man who stood in the back as we ordered. We asked about cheese foam as we've never heard of it and she couldn't explain what it was. We ordered 13 drinks but somehow ended up with 14 drinks on our receipt and took them 50 minutes to make between the two. They got a drink order wrong but couldn't admit to fault. I showed the lady my receipt and she said it was wrong because her receipt showed something different. I asked her to just remake it but she just said she would just add lychee jelly and that would correct the error but it didn't. 3 minutes of back and forth with her, I gave in and said okay because this lady did not understand, did not want to admit she made a mistake and did not make it right. Aside from the bad customer service from this lady, the drinks were subpar. Most of the drinks tasted watered down, even the drinks with no ice! Here's what we ordered: Black milk tea (probably the best thing we ordered) Mango smoothie (more like a slushee) Strawberry banana smoothie (terrible!) Black oolong tea with cheese foam (a mistake!!) Strawberry green tea slush (halfway full of pulp) Orange green tea slush (orange juice with a hint of tea) Green milk tea (not enough milk) Super fruit tea (bit into an orange seed, yikes!) Oolong milk tea (terrible) Tiramisu foam oolong team (super thick and hard to drink!) Bathroom was clean, probably because no one comes here ‍. I don't think this place will last long If the product is bad, the customer service could save it but when the customer service is bad too, good luck SWEETEA!

First time trying out this lovely, quaint place. We needed this kind of drink shop around Destin, FL--not just talking about a place for boba drinks, but a place to sit, relax and enjoy every little sips of this happiness. I could definitely tell that this place does NOT use powders to make drinks more flavory but rather diffused freshly. Their boba pearls were so fresh not frozen. This place is the high-end quality drink shop in Destin. The staffs were pleasant and friendly even though I walked in late at night (like 10:30 PM). Please try tiramisu puff cream (and enjoy their little shovel spoon- you will find out I meant by "shovel" spoon when you order it) It will bring a whole new world to your mouth. I would definitely recommend this place.

I love this place with great drinks We come from Houston TX and decided to try this boba shop. Nice server with not too fast service but good and carefully making orders. About the boba, i worked at boba shop before so I think you should not take it out yet, let the boba sit for a bit (depends on how much boba you cook; if 2 cups, lets sit about 45min) after cooking, this is gonna make it softer in the middle, it makes boba taste better with brown sugar. Hope you succeed in your business! We gonna come back one day

Was visiting from out of town & was craving boba and SWEETEA did not disappoint. Called in our order of 6 drinks and they made it all in under five minutes! We ordered roasted oolong milk tea, iced caramel macchiato, and the super fruit tea. The boba was pretty standard. They offered crystal boba too which was a plus for me! Employees were nice & the inside of the shop was nice & clean. I would def come back next time I'm in Destin! Don't forget to check in to get 10% off!

Simply delicious! I had the taro milk tea with boba and regular sweetness and hubby had black milk tea with boba and they were both so good! Place is small, cozy and clean. Masks were required at the time when we came. Staff are so friendly. They have a outside seating in the back where they have this little picnic table for squirrels and they have peanuts they provide that you can put on the picnic table bowl for the squirrels. My toddler absolutely loved it! If you like boba and are vacationing in the area, definitely go here!
