The cakes & Cupcakes were absolutely delicious and beautifully crafted — they truly exceeded our expectations. I needed a sweet treat for a birthday. After reading reviews I decided to stop in and check out Sweeter Days. It's easy to be deceived by the smaller store front until the smell of baked sweetness hits you as you walk in the door. An assortment of decorated cupcakes are displayed along with mini cupcakes, cookies and cakes. I was able to pick cupcakes from a list of their most popular cupcake flavors along with specialty flavors. It was difficult choosing only 6 cupcakes because they had so many great choices. I opted for Funfetti, Red Velvet, Salted Caramel and the Raspberry White Chocolate. Since it was my first time in and I didn't know what to expect I jokingly asked if I could taste test a cupcake and the baker granted my wish with a cupcake that's frosting had fallen. The cake batter was soft, warm and fluffy and the chocolate frosting was richly decadent!! I appreciate that he accommodated my request and he also gave me a few flavor recommendations since I was having trouble choosing. For the birthday event I ate the Raspberry with white chocolate and it was a delightful sweet treat! Each person enjoyed their cupcakes. For my next event, or when I'm in need of something sweet, I will definitely head over to Sweeter Days Bake Shop.

I have always loved Sweeter Days and recently had the pleasure of ordering my wedding cake from here. I cannot recommend them enough! From the moment we stepped into the bakery, Steve made us feel welcome and comfortable. My husband and I had so much fun during our cake tasting, trying all of their amazing cupcakes. Steve was amazing throughout the whole process and helped us pick out Salted Caramel for our flavor. The cake was absolutely stunning and our guests were blown away by how delicious it was. We received so many compliments throughout the night and even days after the wedding. Thank you so much!

Very impressed with this bake shop. Upon entry the scent of dough immediately perked my interest and the baker noticed my delight by the upwards angle of my stimulated nostrils. Loved the open kitchen concept with three Bakers decorating a cake and mixing batter. The cupcakes and cookies were all in plain view for customers to gawk. The most interesting cupcakes were the Red Velvet and the Key Lime Coconut. These creamy concoctions were intriguing although decided on the oversized Oatmeal Raisin cookie which was made fresh this morning. OMG it was moist and heavenly. Noticed the owner monitoring every aspect of the bake shop and introduced himself while I was devouring one of his pride creations. Talk with the wife about ordering an 8" round cake that serves 12 people for a competitive price of $55.00. Only a 24 hour notice for non customized cakes. If in Fort Lauderdale I recommend stopping in and giving the place a good whiff.

I can't begin to tell you how amazing Sweeter Days is! We ordered our wedding cake from here 9 years ago, birthday cakes throughout the years and they never fail to impress. This time around, we ordered for our daughter's graduation party and the decorations, the look and the taste were ALL amazing!! Kudos to the entire bake shop as they have our business for life!

Boy, this bakery smells so good. I was next door getting a massage and somehow I transported inside. Something that different about the place was that you can see the bakers work their magic. I mean it has a big viewing window and it is captivating watching them decorate. I found that so cool. When I first walked in I couldn't help noticing the many awards this place had for cakes. It was impressive. They make custom cakes and they must be good. I saw cupcakes and cookies beautifully displayed. I then noticed the mixers they had. I ended up getting a lemon drop. I need to come back for those cookies and cupcakes next time. It is nice welcoming bakery. The staff was welcomed me and was friendly. I met a chef. He was wonderful and gave me information about the bakery. He was very nice. He made a good impression on me. I liked the place.

I ordered my mom's 60th birthday cake from Sweeter Days Bake Shop a few years ago and it's still the most memorable cake she has ever gotten! The entire family remembers this cake lol. I chose the almond amaretto flavor, and it was incredibly divine- full of flavor, moist and rich. The design I asked for came out even better than I had envisioned, so thoughtfully done. My mom was truly blown out of the water when she saw it. I have gotten a few more cakes over the years from them and they never disappoint! Sweeter Days doesn't just make you cake, they create a centerpiece for all your special celebrations!

Had the cupcakes --moist, delicious and the icing was excellent. Sweet-but not cloyingly sweet. Friendly service. Glad we stopped in after Wild Fork to check it out.

Steve surpassed all of my expectations. My girlfriend had wanted a very specific cake: heart-shaped, red velvet, vanilla frosting, red hearts, with "birthday princess," written on it. Last year, someone quoted her $150 for that concept. She decided to go with the much cheaper alternative, a lady from work willing to do it for $40. It came out so bad that a picture of the cake was the laughing stock of her family the whole year. I set out to make this dream cake of hers come true. I called Steve. I told him all of this and asked him if he could do it. He said of course I can! I sent him a picture of what I was looking for and he did it exactly what my girlfriend wanted. He came out to meet us when we picked it up. When my girlfriend saw the cake she was stunned. We didn't make it back to the car before she started crying. Steve, thank you for making the birthday princess's dreams come true. I highly recommend this business. The cake was a fraction of the price originally quoted above and was well sized and delicious.

Best cakes in the game. Hands down. From cost to creativity. Not to mention they're just as delicious as beautiful. Sense of urgency is always delivered in addition to options. The staff will work with you on budget to ideas to delivering the cake of your dreams! Dozens of cakes later after several years this is my number one recommendation in south Florida!

My daughter ordered cupcakes in various flavors for my birthday this past weekend. We were so disappointed. The cupcakes looked delicious but the cake portion was so dry you could barely eat it. It was the same on all the flavors. I'm sorry to say that it was a waste of money and very disappointing.

What a wonderful bake shop! We were visiting a store next door and decided to stop in - best decision ever! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We tried the chocolate cupcakes, red velvet cookie, snickerdoodle cookie, and peanut butter cookie. All of them were outstanding! The peanut butter cookie was probably one of the best I've ever had. We decided to eat our goodies in the shop and it was a lovely ambiance. I will definitely be back!

Cute little bake shop in Fort Lauderdale with so many options to choose from! It was so hard to choose between all the cupcake flavors but literally every single one is delicious! They gave us a chocolate chip cookie on the house that was warm, and huge! Satisfies my sweet tooth every time!

Sweeter Days Bake Shop is a bakery located on Federal Hwy in the Plaza del Mar Shopping Center in Ft. Lauderdale, It is in the same plaza as CAO and Wild Fork. I enjoyed my visit to this delightful bakery owned by Steve Crombe and Will Rubin who didn't even know how to bake when they opened Sweeter Days. They relied on their backgrounds as executives for Liz Claiborne, Eddie Bauer and Spiegel when they were inspired by the bakeries of New York to open Sweeter Days when they retired to Ft. Lauderdale in 2005. With direction from head pastry chef and cake artist Veronica Duguay they opened in January of 2010 and they quickly took off as they became known for their decadent cakes and cupcakes. The blue striped walls set the stage for the glass cases filled with delectable looking cupcakes. They make cakes for order but you can purchase cupcakes, cake pops, cookies, and select cakes on the spot. Cupcake flavors include salted caramel, lemon dream, cinnamon bun cream cheese swirl, chocolate chip, lime coconut, carrot cake, chocolate peanut butter, cookies & cream, chocolate caramel pretzel, and my choice a divine black and white. They also sell baking supplies, T-shirts, and coffee mugs. I love how you can see them work as they make treats like the space themed layer cake during my visit. Sweeter Days is the perfect spot when you are craving a sweet treat or need the perfect cake for a special event.

Great designers Cakes are amazing Worth a drive to this location. I have purchased many baked items and have also had a cake made for my husband birthday

They made me a really fun 30th birthday cake for my husband. The gentleman was so helpful when loading it he even seat belted it in!

If you like the sweets, this is it, cupcakes are awesome as all the Cakes staff is very helpful. Everything is just downright yummy.

My wedding cake was EXACTLY what I wanted. I had a enchanted fairytale theme and It was absolutely gorgeous / exceeded my expectations design wise. Steve and Will were so kind and thorough when consulting with us and they honestly blew me away. I ordered my cake SUPER last minute (within a week) and they were so gracious and punctual with everything. And of course it tasted EVEN BETTER. 10/10 recommend Sweeter Days. Thank you guys so much for adding this amazing detail to my special day!

I came here to order a cookie cake for my boyfriend's 30th, and was helped by the owner, Steve. He made my ordering experience so fun (we chatted the whole time), and when I picked up my cake about 2 weeks later, he remembered who I was! Great customer service like this is hard to find. The cake itself was amazing, and our group of 30 devoured it. We will continue coming here for our future occasions, without a doubt.

I was coming from Texas to Florida to celebrate my sisters birthday. I called and had the please of speaking with Steve, one of the owners. I explained my vision of the cake to him and based on his great Yelp reviews and winning personality, I ordered the cake. I arrived in Florida the next week week to pick up my cake and it was everything I hoped for and more! The sponge itself was moist and flavorful, the icing was buttery and delicious, but the best part was the pounds of sprinkles that we had put inside the cake, so that when you cut it open it's a sprinkle explosion! Boom baby, these guys nailed it!!!

Such a horrible experience as we plan our wedding. The tasting went fine but then it was obvious this place was a joke. It took about a month to get the quote and this was after having to follow up and ask for it. Then almost two months later they respond saying they can't do the cake after all. He couldn't be professional enough to tell us that during our tasting? Now months later we have to scramble for another baker for our wedding. Such a let down, so unprofessional, just shows a businessman who doesn't care one big about the customer. If you want a nice wedding cake stay away from here. Find a different baker who wants to ensure your wedding day is grand.

We ordered a lemon cake last minute for my aunts' birthday party. Ordering was easy enough and the cake was beautiful when we picked it up. It was my first time ordering/visiting this bakery and I was extremely impressed ! The inside is cute and very clean. On the left hand side is the register with a display of cupcakes and the right hand side is where the magic happens! Bakers (is that the right term?) busily formed and created yummy treats as customers waiting watched. It was Saturday afternoon when we picked up and there were already a few people in line to selecting their assortment of cupcakes. The owner, a very sweet man, helped me finalize my order, suggesting a cake topper to complete the look of the cake. He recommended placing the cake on the passenger side floor to limit movement, which I did. The cake turned out great and was delicious and light. Perfect for a summer afternoon paired with some Chardonnay and Aperol Spritz! I definitely will be back :)

I recently ordered a customized 4th birthday cake from Sweeter Days Bake Shop, and I am so impressed with the quality and taste of the cake! The intricate design and attention to detail were beyond my expectations. The cake was a hit at my son's 4th birthday party, and everyone raved about its deliciousness. Thank you, Sweeter Days Bakery, for making my son's special day even sweeter! ps. Ron at Sweeter Days has been part of our 'family,' especially since we ordered cakes from them since our baby shower in the winter of 2018.

As always - never disappoints. Ordered my son's 5th bday cake and they took the time to ask questions to get it right. I ordered the Lemon Dream cake and it was "dreamy". Just a hint of tangy lemon to cut the light, fluffy, and sweet buttercream icing on top of the dense and moist cake layers. Yum!! I was able to obtain a special topper for his love of fishing and they were so kind to incorporate it at no additional cost. We will continue to order from here for our cake or cupcake needs. The salted caramel pretzel is also to die for! You can stop in for a sweet fix any day and get a ready made treat too. Way too convenient for me to stay in shape!

These cupcakes were ordered for the cast and crew on a show that I was working on. Not one person complained. The shop serves regular, vegan and gluten free choices. They were purchased the day before and tasted just as fresh if we ate them the same day.

So grateful to the Sweeter Days team for the beautiful birthday cake created for a very special birthday. Jaime worked with me as I described my idea for the cake based on another in their website's gallery, and it came out exactly as I had expected. With two layers of vanilla and two of red velvet, it was delightful! I also appreciate that paid delivery to my event venue was an option. Was the most pleasant surprise to arrive and see it on display.

Couldn't be happier with my baby shower cake! Staff was very friendly and very easy to communicate with. They did a beautiful job recreating what I had envisioned. And to top it off it tasted great, no dry cake over here! I will certainly be coming back for future events!

We would like to share our experience with Sweeter Days. Honestly, we've never step foot inside of the place and were unaware of its existence. As seniors sheltered in place because of the virus, a relative from Houston ordered 1/2 dozen cupcakes, unbeknown to us. The shop told our relative delivery would take 30 minutes. The delivery arrived at our front door but since we were unaware of the delivery we advised the driver he had the wrong house. The driver called our relative in Houston and our relative called us.....and told us to open the door! ugh!! How embarrassing! We also found out the delivery took less than 30 minutes more like 20 minutes and the driver was very responsible to make sure the delivery was made! of course, we enjoyed our delicious cupcakes with a cup of coffee! We plan to visit this shop soon!!

Sweeter Days is a cute bake shop with welcoming & friendly service. The shop is located in a plaza with sufficient parking. The store is bright & clean. They have a view into part of their kitchen so you can see where all the magic happens. Their cupcakes are adorably decorated. Provides for a nice presentation. I remembered walking through the the door I had been here once before a while back. After trying the cupcakes again I realized why I had forgotten I'd been here. Although it's a good/average cupcake, the frosting to cake batter ratio is equal. Which is too much frosting for my liking. I also didn't care for the jelly center filling. For the size and taste I find the cupcakes to be a bit pricey.

Disappointing! Save your money. I got a few different cupcakes, and I couldn't eat any of them. All the flavors are artificial, the cupcake tastes like a boxed vanilla cake and the frosting is so sweet you feel a cavity forming with every bite. I had to throw a whole dozen cupcakes out despite how expensive they were. Not worth the calories and health.

I am a big fan of this bake shop! I found this place using Yelp and it definitely lives up to the hype. I have had a variety of their cupcakes, which are all delicious and fresh. The cake is soft and spongey with light but sweet homemade icing. The red velvet cupcakes are on another level and I highly suggest trying some if you love cream cheese icing. They also have cake pops which are fun. You can order cakes which are beautiful and taste great. They always have a large selection even on the holidays so if you need a last minute stop for some delicious desserts, definitely stop by !

I will never pay $50 for a cake at this place again. It was terrible. Tasted like it had been frozen for awhile. Just everything about it was bad. I would have been better off with a Publix cake. Especially since 3/4 of this Chocolate cake went in the garbage.

The best macaroons ever! Delicious and not too sweet! And they even did them for me and my crazy Halloween thing! Love them!

Best cupcakes ever you MUST get the red velvet! This is my go to for cupcakes the the East Fort Lauderdale area. The turnover is great there is always a wait so you know they are nice and fresh. They also make amazing cakes I got my daughter's birthday cake here and they did a fabulous job!

Friendly owner, fair pricing, and amazing cake! I bought a birthday cake for my mom. A 6 inch salted caramel. It was a hit! Very buttery. You know it's good because I asked her if there was any cake left and she said No...only to find her hiding the last piece LOL

Wow, I have to say, if you want cupcakes for the office or your loved ones, Sweeter Days on Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale is the place to go! The cupcakes are absolutely delicious, and the variety of flavors is incredible. Each bite is a perfect blend of moist cake and creamy frosting. More like sweetest days bakery! I ordered customized FSU Cupcakes for my boyfriends birthday and they were such a big hit, that's even an understatement! They blew my other gift out of the water! I called a week before to discuss flavors and designs. He happens to be super picky and dislikes chocolate (weirdo) but loves peanut better. So I had them sub vanilla instead of chocolate in their peanut butter cupcakes and the end result was outstanding! They had no problem with my customizing flavors or designs. Everyone was so helpful and the cupcakes came in a cut, little box and the FSU design was perfect! We both loved them and he promised not to eat them all and save me some!

i am a colored woman who walked into this establishment with my family to see someone regarding a cake i have been in contact with by the name of daniel. both lady an owner spoke with me and my family like our services was not good enough because i am a black woman i was told i could not be seated inside of the shop i have to sit outside in the sun with my family like i was some type of animal. they do not like black people there i will not be going back there better services at the cake lovers cake shop.

Very friendly staff. Patient while you select your cupcakes. We got a dozen. Our favorite was probably the carrot cake, velvet, and lemon. All the fruity ones are great. Our least favorite was the cookie dough, and sadly the plain vanilla with sprinkles, which is usually my favorite cupcake everywhere else. It tasted a bit odd. Not complaining though, different strokes for different folks!

We recently tried the cupcakes from here and they were divine. We got 12 cupcakes and ate most of them on the same day. They have a wide range of flavors that all taste delicious. Even though we went towards the end of the day when the bakery was about to close, but all the cupcakes were extremely fresh. The texture is very soft and moist with just enough sugar in the cake batter itself. The cream can be a bit on the sweeter end depending on the flavor, but who does not appreciate a sweet cupcake?!?!?! I wish calories did not matter and weight gain was not a real thing so we could get goodies from here every single day! Next time, definitely will be trying one of the cakes.
