I got most beautiful poke bowl I've ever seen -- truly a work of art. They also had some really unique bases and toppings I've never seen before too. Another nice thing about this place is that they are right next to a place that serves matcha drinks. A poke bowl + a matcha latte? That's some good stuff.

I love the food here and order regularly but I did receive a bowl with rice that had to have been “cooked” for 3 seconds maximum. It felt like I was chewing on pebbles. Truthfully, I will be eating here again because I know this is just a small slip up.

My go to! I am gluten free. Staff is always great about letting me know IF there is any (usually not) and makes great recommendations on sauces. There is such a variety. Super happy always hits the spot

It’s a gluten free spot for anyone looking for options. I wanted to try the burrito but the kids insisted for all to get poke. The person working there, not sure if the manager or owner, he was so kind to explain why to stick to the poke option which made total sense! To top it off, he went and offered us chips and popcorn that they prepare! Sometimes it really takes one person to make such a difference to your dining experience. Thank you!

Ordered here via Uber eats. They don’t have a option to list my deadly sesame allergy. We called and spoke to the restaurant on how to remedy the in-edible food we received via there error. While I’m sure the food is good. Their service is lacking

Came across Sweetfin Poke Burbank when we stopped by Alfred Coffee. First I thought it was a sweets and pastry bakeshop since I only saw Sweetfin. I actually thought it was Sweetin until I realized it said Sweetfin. Lol! Went inside to see what kind of food items they serve. It's a poke bowl eatery that specializes in vegan meals. We ordered the Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl to try it out. Everything was made fresh as you order. They have a variety of meals on their menu. Serving for the price is ok. I was hoping for a spicy, delicious tuna poke bowl. This specific spicy tuna poke bowl was bland. It lacks taste and flavor. It wasn't what I expected. They also don't take cash. I look forward to stopping by Sweetfin Poke Burbank to try other food items on their menu to give them another try.

The street parking is a little challenging. It was busy but we got lucky and found a spot right in front. Stopped by and would not have known it was a poke spot. Totally thought it was a sweet store with the name. Good thing we walked in! I didnt realize it until after but its a vegetarian/vegan spot. The staff was extremely friendly! And the place was very clean and maintained. A bit pricey. And they do not accept cash. Actually seemed like they prefer it to be cashless. Not a fan of that. So I tried the Spicy Tuna Poke bowl. It was different for sure. I ordered white rice but it had green tint to it? I didnt get to ask what type of rice it was cause I had my order to go. It was ok. Not my type of poke bowl. But I also don't really eat at vegetarian spots. Glad I tried it though. Thank you!

~ TRY MISS REMI'S BOWL!!! ~ (ends January) I've ate this for a week straight. Remi's bowl is soo good!! It has truffle spicy mayo! It has crispy noodles on top! It has wasabi furikake! Just trust me. They have seating inside and out. The service is super fast and you can get $5 off ordering on their website.

Loved everything about the Classic Tuna Poke Bowl I ordered! The black (forbidden) rice, yellowfin tuna, salmon, red onions, avocado, seaweed salad, bean sprouts, and pickled ginger were a great combination. I just added a banana chili pepper and it tasted fresh and delicious! There was an online promotion today so the bowl was $12.18 instead of $20.30 (without taxes). I thought the portion would be on the smaller side but it was not the case at all. I am full, satisfied, and would order again!!

My go to when I want a healthy lunch or dinner! Service is always friendly here and the food is made to order quickly. I suggest downloading their app to pre-order if you are in a rush. The proteins and veggies are always fresh and I love that you can customize the bowls to your liking. Great option for the area!

Super disappointed. I LOVE poke and thought this was going to be my local go-to but nope. First of all, the place is absolutely tiny, there's a little window counter you can eat at or one small table outside. That's it. So, to-go is why you're here. For those of us working in the area, though, we want a place to sit down a and get out of the office for 45 minutes. I walked in (around 1pm)... one person in front of me getting an order. I had questions about the menu options. But, after getting the order, the guy didn't make eye contact and went into the back. Maybe he was expecting me to just use the kiosk to order? I stood there for literally five minutes, and nothing. He didn't come out again. You would expect him to look at you then "be right back" or something. I'm sure it's just a one-off, because the Sweetfin by my house is always solid. Crazy expensive but good service, good poke, etc. But, as they say, you only get one chance to make a first impression and it was a rude one.

Got the truffle yuzu albacore bowl and it was so good! Very heavy on the truffle flavor so you have to like that. The fish was tender and fresh tasting. I really liked the addition of the sprouts and mushrooms. I will be back to try more soon! I ordered online so that made it easy and I had $5 off on the app for signing up. There's not a lot of seating limited inside and a little outside so probably better for grab and go.

Sweetfin is hands down my favorite poke spot. It's not like traditional Hawaiian poke you'd get at a fish market, but that wasn't what I was looking for anyway. I went with my family, and we tried a bunch of different options--everything was a hit. Compared to other poke chains, Sweetfin stands out with higher-end, more unique ingredients like forbidden rice and daikon sprouts. We tried a few bowls and also ordered two sweetboxes, but honestly, we should've skipped the sweetboxes. You get way more fish with the bowls. Our favorites were the spicy tuna and the yuzu salmon--both were super flavorful. We also tried the matcha tea, but it was just okay and nothing special. Overall, great quality ingredients, fresh flavors, and definitely worth coming back for more!

I've eaten Sweetfin dozens of times when the office brings it in. Their poke bowls are always reliable and tasty, albeit a bit expensive for the size. I've been craving a sushi burrito ever since our standby Raku Teriyaki closed down, so I tried their poke burrito with salmon and forbidden rice. The gluten free tortilla was pretty good (although I prefer the soy paper of sushi) and everything tasted fresh. I just think it could have a little more fish? There was a lot of other filler (which was still good), I just wanted a little more. I will still get it again though. Love spicy cucumber salads. This one had a great crunchy topping. It could have used a little more heat? All in all an easy take out choice!

Service was awesome. Staff super helpful with suggestions and managing my soy allergy. The fish is fresh and the food was good. One star off because it seemed too pricey for what I got and in all my reviews I've never said that! Would go again if I had a craving and was too lazy to make it somewhere else or they had a special!

Today is Wednesday 6/5/24 and the gentleman...yes...I said gentleman who worked today at 12:15pm was very KIND and Helpful!! And greeted me. So 5 stars for him!! Food here has always been 5 stars.

I'm so glad there was a healthy option nearby my hotel. Sweetfin offers fresh, healthy, and delicious poke bowls. They're generous with their portions and there are lots of mix-in, toppings, and dressings to choose from. Mango and edamame is so good! The only drawback was their ordering system. There's one only ginormous kiosk and the problem I'm finding with these systems is that their UI is a bit confusing, you can't keep track of what you did/didn't add to your bowl and when you need help, employees aren't even in the room. I totally missed ordering a drink! I'll come back and hopefully get a drink on my order!

I used to really like this place, my review is more of a 3* but my hope of it improving makes me bump it to a 4. The first time I came here there was a really friendly woman and I told her that this was the friendliest Sweetfin I've been to. Recent visits they barely look at you. This combined with the fact that my bamboo rice was undercooked to the point I couldn't finish my bowl made me very hesitant to come back again, especially when there are so many options in the area. Also, not the fault of this location, but Sweetfin got rid of their togarashi sauce for no reason!! Boo!!!!

I order from you guys all the time.. And the quality of bowls have been pretty bad lately. I always order the same thing, but the bowls have been coming more and more different. One time my bowl was entirely black because they over dressed it with sauce... this time there's wayyy to much salmon. I paid for extra but not for an entire fish.... And on top of that, today.... I get my food and slice my mouth open because there's a piece of broken plastic in my food It sucks, I really liked this place.

Honestly, best service I've seen at a sweetfin! Shout out to Andrea. She was incredibly kind and accommodating today when I walked in to get lunch a few mins before opening. Many would have turned me away and told me to wait, but she insisted on taking care of it right away. Thank you!

I'm really sad because it's no where near as good as I remember it. I also think it might have changed ownership or I have it confused with a restaurant right next to it called Red Maple that had poke before it. The service is fine, I ordered online and the ambience is chill. There's nowhere to sit because it's such a small shop.

I have visited this location in Burbank a number of times. They offer poke bowls, box sampler and burritos in a variety of options; plant based, seafood, keto and superfood. I usually go with building my own poke bowl. The ingredients are fresh, the regular and large size are good portions and the staff is always helpful with the menu (I like trying different combinations). There are 2 small tables for 2 inside and a couple of tables and chairs for outside seating. Seems to be more of a pick up and go type of place but I'd you plan to dine in, make time for 10 extra minutes to find parking if you drive. I have enjoyed every order to date. Never has disappointed.

It was a long wait and I couldn't figure out the app without Wi-Fi so that was frustrating but the Yuzu poke bowl is great and I wish they had one in south Orange County! Andrea is the manager and she's amazing! She brought me some guava lemonade to accompany my lunch. The salmon is so fresh.

Sweetfin! How long have you been open!? I have deep regret for not noticing and becoming a regular on day one. Tonight I happened to go into my Find me Gluten app and stumbled upon this gem. I went in and asked the golden question .. "do you have wild caught fish?" yes! the gentleman was great with me and made several recommendations since I cant handle the heat. I left with a bowl, half yellowfin and half tuna. Half black rice (wow!) and half bamboo rice. He gave me some sauce that would've came with the bowl but I had changed it bc I was nervous it would've been too spicy. What I can say is that I thoroughly enjoyed this bowl from beginning to end. I cant wait to try more items on the menu. I love that everything is gluten free. I'm happy to have found it and will be coming back.

Fabulous place for a quick salmon fix! The manager took very good care to guide us as to what to order and even let us in on a secret, if you register online you get $5 off your order! So we did! Fish was fresh and the combination of flavors was exactly what I wanted. Definitely coming back to this location and trying everything else. Service was great. Big bonus. Great location near a lot of other choices for food, but this place is my go-to for lunch on-the-go. Yum!

I've been to a few other Sweetfin locations and I've always had a good experience. I like they have options like black rice and kelp noodles. I got them both in my bowl - but that might have been too healthy, lol. I got that for my bowl with albacore and yellowtail. Got my husband's bowl with bamboo rice with salmon and albacore. I don't like that you can only get two proteins, even if you get the large bowl. I would have added tuna. Overall the bowls were fresh, but mine tasted a bit too healthy? Could have also been the sauce - I chose the miso sesame shoyu. Still I do like this place and their unique options.

Super kind staff, also love that they have screen for you to build your bowl on. Delicious fresh poke! I'd recommend getting the large as a small is fairly petite.

First experience at Sweetfin last Thursday (5/6/21) for dinner, and I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. The quality here is definitely elevated. Service was also very friendly and helpful, which was greatly appreciated considering it was my first time. To eat, I ordered a large build your own bowl with Yellowfin Tuna and Albacore Tuna, yuzu kosho, bamboo rice, wasabi furikake, cucumbers, pineapple, and double seaweed salad. Prices are fair considering the quality. I think my bowl came out to ~$14 plus tip. Honestly, I thought this was one of the best poke bowls that I've had in a while. You can really tell that the fish quality is way beyond what most standard poke places (in California) serve. The seaweed salad, pineapple, and cucumbers were great too. On the negative, I think the rice could use some work. I also wish the yuzu kosho was a little stronger. The biggest downside of Sweetfin though is the quantity. I believe the server said the large has 4 ounces of fish, which is certainly on the smaller side. All things considered, I really enjoyed my first experience at Sweetfin. I'll admit, I was a little skeptical of the marketing and hype prior to coming, but this place definitely deserves the praise. Both the Yellowfin Tuna and Albacore Tuna are responsibly and sustainably caught and wild. Also, the entire menu is gluten free.

Man I REALLY want to love this place. I really do. I've ordered 3 times, and I've ordered the same exact thing 3 times: the spicy tuna poke bowl with kelp noodles. The first time I ordered it, it was through Uber eats, and it was phenomenal. I ordered it midweek, like a Tuesday or Wednesday. Then the next two times I ordered it on a Saturday. Both Saturday orders were lacking in sauce (aka dry), and just overall tasteless. There was also SIGNIFICANTLY LESS kelp noodles in my order both times on Saturday. I'll keep coming back probably but I'm gonna avoid their weekend shift.

Every time I have stopped by the food is always fresh! Service is very bland, sometimes I'll get a very sweet lady and she is very attentive I don't remember her name. Overall, I love their ahí tuna, I get a BYOB - bamboo rice, ahí tuna, seaweed salad, cilantro, red cabbage, avocado, shiitake mushrooms, cucumbers, and you can't forget the crispy onions!! For the sauces my go to are - ponzu lime and the black garlic gochujang. Try it out!

Yum! Fast! To go! You order ahead, the poke is super tasty, especially considering we're not in Hawaii. Lunch or dinner. And they're nice.

This is a high end poke place. You can get alot of toppings here you don't usually see at your run of the mill poke place. This place is a tad more expensive but if you like variety and are health conscious I would go for it Plenty of parking on the street if you're willing to walk a block on a weeknight. Ordered on Uber eats and the workers were so friendly welcoming when I came to pick up. I got the large size build your own bowl for $4 extra (regular bowl is about $12) but I was able to finish the bowl and I'm not a big eater. The fish quality was okay, I got a huge piece of gristle in the tuna so I wasn't pleased about that. Ginger lemonade tastes like regular lemonade with a stronger aftertaste, would not reorder.

Came in for the spicy tuna bowl and taro chips and since they offer a combo I decided to go with the mango pineapple lemonade. Everything was delicious and the employees here are always pretty friendly. A great place for a good healthy meal on the go.

Thought we would try something new but this did not impress. The listing said it was Japanese cuisine but I get more of a Korean vibe from the flavors. I don't mind but it wasn't what I was expecting. I got the custom box but you can only customize 2 dishes in the box while the chips and noodles are already included. All flavor is spicy. If you like that, great! I don't have a high spice tolerance and the red peppers were too much for me but came in both the default noodles and tofu dish. All ingredients were fresh and high quality, I really liked the presentation and prep, I just wish there was more sweet flavorings or sauces for a restaurant named sweetfin.

We were pretty disappointed with our first experience at Sweetfin. I placed an online order at 6:55 pm for a 7:17 pm pickup. When I got there at 7:19 pm, it hadn't been started. I waited to get the attention of a staff member to ask for the order to be canceled so we could pick up something faster. I was told, "It'll be ready in, like, 2 minutes. There's only 2 of us." It was ready at 7:28 pm. I understand a busy night and short staff and would have appreciated any kind of acknowledgement such as, "Thank you for waiting," or, "We appreciate your patience." Instead, I felt like I was inconveniencing them just by being there. It was not a good feeling. I will not return.

Just picked up my order right now and the young lady was very polite and helpful! Brightens up a customers day!

We had never given a review, of any other restaurant. We keep coming back to Sweetfin for their consistency in preparation, the healthy menu option as well as the freshness of flavors and reasonable pricing given the quality and size of the portions. In addition, we really love the cleanliness and the friendly and professional management--in particular, Jordan, at the Burbank/Toluca Lake location. Few restaurants can boast about offering so much.

For the portion your getting definitely not worth the price. I paid $25 for a large poke bowl and I only get 2 scoops of protein?! There's plenty of other poke spots with double the amount of scoops you get for a large.

I've been to this place a few times and the food is fresh and amazing, but I won't be going back. There is a guy working there, older, mustache that is such a creep that I stopped in the middle of trying to construct my own bowl, which I hadn't done before, and I left. He possessed no customer service skills whatsoever. He was rude and frustrated from the moment I began. Not sure why this individual has a job interacting with people. I'm so sad. I was really looking forward to a great meal.

i've been coming here for the past year and it's safe to say this is the best poke spot i've ever been too. so nice and clean in here im a regular here and always get the same thing and it never misses ! you HAVE to try the sriracha ponzu TRUST ME ! amazing service and great people ! recommend this place if you want fresh fish

After visiting Sweetfin in Santa Monica and Woodland Hills at the Village, I was excited to see that they finally opened a Sweetfin Poke place here in Burbank. I give this place ONE STAR based on the fact that they are in a horrible area of Burbank where parking is scarce & the two dudes working behind the counter are more motivated to serve online orders versus walk in customers standing right in front of them. After circling for 10 minutes and finally finding a parking spot, I walk in and am asked if I could wait 10 minutes before ordering because they are very busy with orders taken by the app or third party food delivery / pick up. After standing there for about five minutes and a few people walking in and then walking out because they don't want to wait, i'm finally told that it would be easier if I placed my order on the app, rather then telling it to them. that would've been nice to know when I walked in rather than waiting 10 minutes later to be told that. Either way, I am not going to download an app just to order food?! Seems ridiculous if I'm standing right there and I am ready to order. Needless to say I was not interested in the obstacles, just to place an order. Not sure why they couldn't just help the people that were inside and ready to order. Note to the manager: your employees need to be more attentive to the Walk-ins "choosing" to dine at your establishment. I wonder how much business this place loses by them doing that. It's Burbank, and I'm sure your rent is not cheap.

I wouldn't continue to come to Sweetfin if it wasn't for their food quality, especially given they have very small portions for the price. A veggie bowl is the same cost as a poke bowl with 2-3 portions of fish which doesn't make sense. That's not even the worst part, after experiencing terrible service the last couple times we've questioned why we come here. They prioritize mobile orders, it's ridiculous when you walk into their business and are made to wait 20 minutes for a veggie bowl just because you ordered at the counter instead of online. The last time we came in the staff seemed to be very on edge and not focused on the orders which made us uncomfortable. I guess if you're eating here, plan in advance and mobile order or they will not prioritize you as a customer.

check your takeout order before you leave the place. I got a bowl for takeout and it was missing two different ingredients, including one that I was charged extra for. They were training somebody at the time, which I understand, mistakes will happen. That's ultimately not my problem with this place... we are all human. Except customer service. Customer service was really annoying. You can't call, you have to text. It feels very corporate and robotic. It is a long and drawn out process. They ask you to take a photo of your order for proof, which i found obnoxious. This place seems to have pushed out the little independent poke store that was on the corner next to it. What a bummer. And to be honest, it tasted kinda fishy.

First time trying this place and I have to say, I really liked it. All the seafood was fresh and tasty. They have a choice of making your own bowl and choosing their signature bowl. I got spicy mayo and ponzu lime and it was a great combination. I wish they added more sauce though. They have vegan option as well. Great place and great service!

I got food poisoning here yesterday :(, it was my first time trying it and it wasn't even good

*Review based on takeout/delivery experience* My boyfriend and I are avid poke eaters, and we decided to try a new place out this time, instead of our usual spot, and if I'm being completely honest, it was subpar. If I were to rate this place, it would be a 6/10, and I'm being generous. We thought the TikTok Bento Box(5/10) was something new and interesting we haven't tried, so we got one of those. The portion size was EXTREMELY small, each section only had maybe about 5 pieces of fish, and it lacked flavor. The chile ginger noodles and the taro chips were the only thing in the box we thoroughly enjoyed. Onto the bowls: The Mango Albacore is one of their Signature Bowls (7/10). It had a few missing items I paid for, and the Forbidden Rice was severely undercooked. I gave it a 7/10 because the mangos in the bowl gave it away for a refreshing taste, but could have had somewhat of a bit more flavor. The Yuzu Salmon bowl (6/10), the forbidden rice was undercooked, missing ingredients, and the entire bowl was a bit bland and tasteless. Also the build your own bowls need more variety! They only offer 3 types of fish, and you can only choose 1, the rest are an extra charge, and they don't even put many in there. Its a useless charge for the amount you receive. The bowl has more undercooked rice than fish. Overall, I would not order from here again, and I'll just stick to my regular place. It was bland, tasteless, no variety, and the amount you get for what you pay for is ridiculous. No thank you.

So it's not my type of food Plastic veggies and I don't prefer mix greens with salad and cali flower.
