Streeterville Sweetgreen customers beware! For many years, my family and I have been regular customers of Sweetgreen. Until recently, we’ve never had a single complaint about quality, value or customer service at any location (NYC, DC, Boston, Chicago, Coral Gables…). A couple of months ago, a new store manager took over our local Streeterville location. On three different recent occasions, we have ordered dinner on-line while in transit from O’Hare and received bowls that have not only been missing protein (Steelhead) but have also been noticeably skimpy in terms of contents (see photos). The first time, we said nothing. The second time, when presented with a photo of the bowl we received, the store manager begrudgingly compensated us one of the bowls we purchased for lunch. The third time, when we also provided a photo of the bowl that was missing Steelhead (beside a can of tuna my husband added for his protein), the manager was not only surly but refused to make any concession — despite the fact that her very regular customers had ordered two more bowls for lunch! The Streeterville location has lost our business. We hope our recent experiences there are NOT indicative of the company’s approach to customer service!
