I went to this location when they first opened which was great so I was kind of excited to have lunch here again. Sadly, the quality was very disappointing. The team itself was fine but the place itself was dirty. There wasn’t a single table that was clean, the bathroom had no soap and the prep area did not seem very clean. My KBBQ Bowl had way too much dressing on it and for $22 including tip I expected more. The few pieces of steak were kind of ridiculous. Yes, I could have asked for dressing on the side but honestly, I wouldn’t expect my bowl to be drowned in dressing so you couldn’t really taste anything. On top of that I found a hair in my food so I just tossed it at that point. Just overall a very disappointing experience.

They didn’t give me salmon and avocado on my uber eats order. Also I messed up trying to refund it because I didn’t see the avocado was missing till I opened the other one. Then I see the shit reviews and I guess I understand.

Sweetgreen in Garden City is absolutely outstanding! Every visit is a fresh, healthy, and delicious experience. The ingredients are always top quality, the space is clean and inviting, and the service is second to none. A special shoutout to Mo, who truly goes above and beyond. Wow. No wonder reviews are so bad. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Cannot speak to a human about a wrong order. I was warned by a friend that they make alot of mistakes. I should have listened. Do not order here unless you don't care if they make a mistake and don't care if they resolve your problem. Unbelievable that they can stay in business. The response from "owner" makes my point. It is the same automated response to every negative review. And of course there has been no reply to the requested email.

Wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst. I was enjoying my bowl until I got towards the bottom and saw a ladybug in my food. I get this is supposed to mean I’m lucky but definitely don’t want it in my food. I know it’s not from my house because this was buried at the bottom in my lettuce. At least I know it’s fresh? I guess….

Definitly a pricey option for salads, I'd prefer that the meat and rice were served hot not just room temperature

Located inside the Garden City Center (Mall) in Cranston. Went here for lunch. I’m not generally a salad person and I loved it! Tons of options. Not cheap ($15 for my salad) but typical for a salad bar place. I had the GUACAMOLE GREENS 😋highly recommend it.

The first time I ordered it was great. As my orders go on, the food portions get less and less. I get crumbs of something I pay an extra charge for. $6 for steak, you get 8 infant bite size portion of. Chips, bottom of the bag and it’s a dusting. It’s not worth the money anymore when you can get a full size salad at Wendy’s for a fraction of the price.

Service is slow because they are understaffed. Poor guy had to run the register and make bowls. Had the crispy rice bowl and it was so healthy, fresh and flavorful. Hit all the right spots. The serving size is decent for the cost but it is kinda on the expensive side I'd say. Cost $14.00. Can't wait to try the miso glazed salmon next. Ingredients are of quality and stocked well, healthy and I like that they list the calorie count next to each menu item. Wish there was more details as a first timer here how they'd charge if you customize your bowl. All It said was starting at $10.00. Location is great as there's parking and it's in the shopping center with access to shops, desserts, etc.

Don't get me wrong I'm a huge sweetgreen fan, but I think we're done ordering sweetgreen to go from this specific location. Our order has consistently been messed up. Tonight I got a harvest bowl without chicken, rice and bread. My husband's order was also missing chicken and avocado. We received a third salad bowl that was not ours, so someone else never received their dinner (but her order was also incorrect lol)

Their food is better than any other bowl place! Better than Cava and Chipotle for sure. Definitely addicted to this place! Their meat quality is the best.

Sweet green is located inside garden city in cranston, I'm not usually a salad or bowl guy but my gf really enjoys it there so I decided to try it. They had many options to choose from to customize a salad, bowl or pick one on of the options from their menu. Aside from being pricey I thought my meal tasted fresh and high quality. They state that they source their food locally which is nice! The food alone had me sold on going back but unfortunately the service was very slow (long line and only 1 counter employee) and they were running out of certain items on the line during dinner time. The inside of sweet green felt clean and they have to-go bags hanging up for you if needed along with several tables go dine in. Overall, will go back to get a quick healthy meal option!

Sweet green is a very busy business. Healthy choices. You can order and eat in. I ordered my food online as the option I chose was an order online only. The service was good, I waited an additional 5 minutes past my estimated time to pick up. I did try to call but there is no option to speak with anyone, I did not like that nor the fact that you have to creat an account in order to order and you have to save your payment method to place your order. I wish you could just order without having to do that process. This is a busy place and the ambience is a little loud.

What a joke! We got two salads, some potatoes and two drinks and it was $40!! I wouldn't mind if it was good, but it was basically a big plate of kale!! Don't waste your time. Just Awful

This place was so good I would go back every day! I ordered off the summer menu. Service was fast and friendly! Restaurant has outdoor seating and was a vibe!

While shopping at Garden City Center, I recently stopped by Sweetgreen for a quick, healthy lunch, and while there were some definite highlights, this location was just OK compared to some of the other sister spots I've been to. I have been a devotee of Sweetgreen since college, when their Boylston Street location was just an easy walk down the block, and reliable for a healthy and filling lunch you could get definitely two meals out of. You can't deny the quality of the produce here. The kale was crisp, the avocado perfectly ripe, and the quinoa was fluffy. It's clear they care about sourcing their veggies. Also, I love that you can build your own bowl! Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or just picky like me, the ability to mix and match ingredients makes for a personalized meal. However, this location's timing of service left a little to be desired. Even during off-peak hours, I found myself waiting longer than expected. The assembly line setup looks efficient, but it was oddly slow. Maybe it was just a busy day, but waiting 15 minutes for a salad felt excessive. The good news- the team was friendly, and when I got the salad at last, it was tasty and the portion size was generous. Of course, I won't swear off Sweetgreen after one so-so experience, and would go back again for sure.

I feel like I'm being punked. Is this really THE sweetgreen I've been hearing so much about? The picture of the salad really speaks for itself. I stood in line for 20 minutes for that salad. I paid $17 for that salad. I'm not really sure what else to say. The 3 or 4 bites that I got out of this salad were decent, although way too salty. Of the few pieces of steak, half of them were inedible & tough. After eating this kale caesar mini salad with a few bites of steak I am out of my mind thirsty & still hungry. I don't understand the appeal of sweetgreen & don't consider it remotely worth the money.

Prettyyy.... mid.. Based off the one protein bowl I had. I feel like you can get a larger and heartier meal at chipotle or Whole Foods (build your own salad) option. But if you're a salad person I think you'd like this place just based off the many options available. I would go back .. to try something else..

I love sweet greens! My overall favorite bowl is the harvest bowl. But they came out with the summer special call the the blacken chicken bbq bowl and that was actually my fav for a bit. This location in Cranston is nice. There's outdoor and indoor seating. The staff has been really nice there as well. And it's super clean. I've already been there a good amount of times and will continue to. The one place for me that makes you enjoy eating salads.

My salad is always amazing!! It's so big I usually have some leftover so it's definitely worth the price. Usually a line around lunch time but it moves quickly. They also have indoor and outdoor seating.

First time trying sweetgreen in general, and have to say my impression is "meh". It feels pricy for what you get, which didn't look like the photos on the site at all. Ordering was really easy, it's very easy to remove and add ingredients. I added beets and avocado to my Mediterranean bowl. Order came correct. All the ingredients seemed fresh. The avocado came as 1 piece (half an avocado) so it was a bit awkward to mash it with my fork. There was a LOT of some kind of liquid on the bottom of the bowl, even though it had no dressing on it. Overall my food was not bad but nothing memorable either. Maybe it was just the bowl I ordered but didn't feel like this was super impressive or worth the $17.

I went today to try something healthier than the pub food at Tavern in the Square next door. I walked in and went through a mix of salads. They have 4 to 5 blends of greens: Romain, Spinach, Kale, Arugula, etc. The following section includes meats: Steelhead fish, Blacked chicken, Roasted Chicken, Lobster, etc. Then pick other sides: carrots, purple Cabbage, beans, etc. There are many different sauces. The server recommends the cilantro dressing. He asked for light, medium, and heavy. I mentioned medium. I got the salad, and everything was so Salty, including the dressing. The service was also less desirable. I asked if it could re-make it. He said no. I asked for a copy of the receipt and that's when he finally said he will get the manager. Everything was disappointing. I may just have to stick to Panera since they seem to have a better understanding of customer service. Sorry, I don't have a picture because I threw it away. It's very messy for a salad. I just have the receipt. FYI, he mentioned that the only way I can get points is order mobile to earn the sweet pass reward points. I cannot do it in-store.

So glad sweetgreen came to Rhode Island- much needed! Love the area that this sweetgreen is in, good shopping and nice vibe, good amount of seating with both inside and outdoor areas. As always, food is fresh and delicious. Ordered online and it came in Time but as it's just opened indoor line is pretty long.

Love the food here! The service is always super helpful and friendly whenever I come in and can't make up my mind they are very kind. The inside is super cute and casual but I am definitely a take out girly not gonna lie.

This fast food venue its tendy well lighten, comfortable. I totally recommend this venue for all those vegetarian lovers. I personally have problems choosing what I want every time I go. Everything its delicious

LOVE Sweetgreen in Garden city! What a pretty location, super bright and clean. The chicken pesto bowl is delicious. I didn't think their hot sauce would be good but it's actually good. It's got a nice little spice to it. Nothing crazy, but also not underwhelming either. Yum!

Place is bomb. Portions are large. Great friendly staff. Chicken Pesto Parm is fantastic. Fish taco or the Hot Honey Chicken plate is also good. Glad they are in Garden City next to Tavern in the Square.

J am such a salad lover. And my daughter has raved about this place for years. Never wavers. Both my friend and I got the chicken pesto salad. It's enough for almost two meals. It's chock full of fresh vegetables and tasty chicken . Why four stars? The person making our salad was not the most upbeat person. Then again, the place was packed and who knows what she encountered earlier. It's a bit pricey but as mentioned, the portions are large.

My salad was great and I ordered online and it was ready instantly! I got the chicken avocado ranch bowl this time but usually get the harvest bowl. Highly recommend both with extra dressing!

I would only be interested in doing takeout from here! It's a total noise den cacophony in their small space row of dine in tables...staff are always clanging pots in the back, they blare hip hop and the take out staff person was yelling the whole time I attempted to eat my bowl.. not to mention the kid sitting two tables away who gobbled down his healthy choice meal the whole time gabbing away on his cellphone! Never again! I don't like eating in such chaos...the last straw was when some Garden City gal fresh off some perfume counter came in and stunk the whole place up.. it totally ruined my diner! too bad .. the food is good although a bit salty

Service was extremely slow. Employee was definitely new but not trained well. He scraped the bottom of the rice container to add to my salad. I asked for more wild rice but was told they didn't have anymore.... (Over an hour prior to closing). The portions were bigger at other sweetgreen locations. Customers in line seemed to be impatient. One employee did appear to know what he was doing and was picking up the slack for the rest of the staff. The food was good but my experience was poor to say the least.

My salad was delicious and MASSIVE... I ordered a pickup and they placed it on the delivery side so I didn't think it was ready and ended up wasting a minute waiting. The prices are very high. My chicken salad was $14.95 and the glass of tea is over $3. However, if I really wanted to, I could drag these out into two meals. I would recommend Sweetgreen. The food is healthy and still has flavor. Add it to your diet plan!

Need to teach employees how to estimate when they are going to run out on a busy weekend. Unfortunately, I didn't have the estimated 25 minutes to wait for the items to be refilled. Saw others leave as well for the same reason. Maybe will try to go back when I have extra an abundance of time.

I walk in Garden City a lot and saw a sign outside their store advertising their caramelized garlic steak salad. It looked so good I went in to do takeout. My first impression was the person behind the counter made no eye contact and looked liked this was the last place they wanted to be at that time. They put the salad together again not speaking and I paid for it. When I got home the salad looked nothing like the picture outside their building on a big billboard. I paid $18.00 for a few tomatoes, broccoli, dried rice and the steak was small hard dry pieces. I tried a few pieces of the steak and it was so dry like it had been sitting there all day long. I wasted money as I threw all of it away. I will never go back there again.

Ive had better salad at hospitals. Heard such good things and it was so disappointing. The steak was so dry it was not even edible. The rice had no flavor and the sauce was basically just oil. Pickled onions were not pickled at all. I never write reviews but this was so disappointing I felt like people should be warned not to waste their 20 bucks.

My lobster salad was good, however it was not reasonably priced for the little portion (dip size container) that you get. Also, and most importantly, I was charged twice for my order, I'm sure by accident. However, when I tried to call the store to address the issue it was a huge runaround of AI (ness), not live representative to talk to, and worst of all no local number. Its a Boston number!!! I left a message (I guess) regarding this situation but I have yet to receive a call regarding a refund. I plan to go to the store (Cranston,RI) directly and ask for a refund.

Ordered 3 salads over the past week and change and the salad ingredients are super fresh. The dressings are great, too. The chicken, however, needs major attention. Both the blackened and roasted chicken across the board have been downright gross! Full of fat and gristle and reminiscent of the chicken you see in cheap salads from a gas station. The quality there does not align with the price, which is disappointing.

The Portions are really small but food is in par with other sweet greens I've been to.

Ordered through GrubHub. Received a text order would be late. Received phone call from GrubHub that SweetGreen cancelled the order because they were "too busy"'. The phone call came at the time the food was supposed to be delivered. Why did they allow GrubHub orders if they were too busy? Thanks to this , 10 hungry ICU RN's at RIH had no lunch! We were also "too busy" to stop and get a full break. We were relying on this order. Shame on you SweetGreen. Next time we will order Wayland Fresh. Salads may not be as good but at least we can rely on them to fulfill our order and not leave us with a stomach ache from starving.

This is rating is for the service only. I don't appreciate how the keypad is set up so that you have no choice but to press the button for a tip to cash out. I went there yesterday and held up the line when I was cashing out because the person helping me didn't know why the keypad was not working. Someone else finally came over to help whom was not helpful. I finally figured out that you have to hit tip to cash out and the person who came over smiled at me as if he already knew that. It should be I own personal choice if choose to tip at the register. I will go back here because I do the food but I will bring cash only. The person at the register also did know how to use the points and rewards. He told me to put my card in the app. However you can not use the discount or points unless you order ahead and pay on the app. This also held up the line and wasted my time.

It was really big salad and delicious. It was good but I think maybe too pricey. Good food and nice and fresh produce.

I always love a sweetgreen salad, but I was extra happy with this location. I had a couple questions for the staff regarding a dairy allergy and they were very accommodating, yes still kept the line moving efficiently brought the conversation. Great customer service!

Everything about this place was great except for the long waiting line with only one person diligently preparing orders but still a long wait. A few people either saw the long line and walked away or got out of line and left. Also with up to 15 people waiting in the line it's difficult to sit at the tables and comfortably enjoy one's order. Manager needs to look into rectifying these issues or people will get discouraged and not come back.

I found a chicken bone, avocado skin, and an apple slice in my Guacamole Greens salad after waiting far too long in line.

Me and my fiancé have gone to this location twice. The very first time the line was almost out the door and they ran out of a lot of the ingredients for the salads we wanted. Which we were told halfway through making a salad. Fortunately, we were able to wait another 20 minutes for them to prepare the items they did not have available half way through the making of the salads. The second time we placed an online order hoping to avoid the line only to find out they yet again did not have half of the ingredients to the salad that we paid $15 for and they didn't include the add-ons that we paid for. I found this out once we get home of course. It sucks because the salads are good but not when you don't get half of what comes with them or what you paid for.

Crispy rice bowl was fantastic! Added raw beet so delicious. Will definitely be a return customer.
